Tadaaa! I'm back! I'm really sorry for letting you guys wait for so long. I hope you are still interested in this story. I just lost my inspiration to write, but fortunately it came back. Enjoy your reading and in the mean time I will continue to write on this story and start to read the new stories and the updated stories from the previous months.

The team was looking at Sam in shock when he finished his story. He had left out most of the details, but what he did say was enough to shock them all. For a moment everyone was quiet and he saw his teammates processing the story. Jules' tears never disappeared and Sam felt sorry for all the things she had to go through.

He felt honestly at lost, his body ached and his head was spinning around like crazy. He had no idea what to do next, how could he possibly be safe again. Would the team be able to protect Jules and the baby? As he had done many times that night, he put his head in his hands. If the world could only stop for a moment, one moment so he could think clearly.

Ed didn't really had time to regain from the shock, he knew he had to act quickly. But never in his whole life had he felt this emotion he was feeling now. If someone would ask him to describe it, he wouldn't know how to answer. Maybe a combination of confusion, thrill, anxiety, worry and anger. But even that didn't come close. Now after Sam told his story about how he brutally got abducted, held hostage and tortured for information it was mostly anger and worry he felt inside him. Sam didn't really say anything about torture, but he was able to fill that one in pretty easy. The worry he felt was for Sam's wellbeing and the anger was towards the people who took him, but also towards himself. How could he not have seen this? How could he have left Sam to fend for himself? He had to find the people responsible for this and make sure that Sam and Jules would be safe. It was the least he could do to make it up to Sam.

Ed looked at his boss and he saw the same resolution in his eyes.

"Sam, we need to send a team over to the building where they kept you." Ed started to responded to Sam's story. "Do you think you can point out the exact location?" He continued.

"Yeah, I think so." Sam replied, but he kept his head down in his hands.

Ed knew he was close to collapsing.

"Okay, good. Spike will help you to pinpoint the location on the computer. Spike, check out everything you can find out about the location. Leah, ask Winnie to call for EMS without giving details about Sam." Ed told his teammates.

"Have team 5 return to the barn and team 3 paged. We are going to need assistance on this one." Greg added.

Leah nodded and strode out the briefing room. Clearly she too was still dazed from the unexpected surprise.

Greg took over from Ed and started asking Sam some questions.

"Sam, are you able to tell us more about the mission 'Silver Wing'?" Greg asked first. He waited a few moments while Sam stayed in silence. Then Sam lifted his head slowly out of his hands and looked at his boss.

"I don't know much about it." Sam said. "But it is about a very dangerous weapon that with one press on a button could kill a whole army." Sam's voice still sounded horrible.

Greg waited patiently while Sam took his time to clear his throat with a few zips of water. They had given him a bottle before, but he had only taken a few zips so far. His voice wasn't any better when he continued his story.

"Apparently it was made by the Japanese and came into the hands of a Russian businessman. He had sold it to the highest bidder, an Afghan terrorist group. They thought to play it smart and let one small group be in charge about the whereabouts of the weapon and another group in charge of the details of the weapon. However, this information came in the hands of the Canadian Force and two special operations where formed. Each operation was in charge to take down a group and retrieve the information about the weapon and whereabouts. The operation I was in was in charge of the whereabouts of this weapon. After six weeks we located them, eliminated them and I took the file with information from them. I have read the file and passed it on to my superior. After a long debriefing my part in this was over. Until…, until my wedding day." Sam told them. The last words came out with a sigh.

"So you know the exact location?" Greg asked him and Sam nodded.

"Do they have the information now?" Greg continued.

Sam gave a wry smile. "I wouldn't be alive if I had told them anything." He said.

Spike had listened to everything Sam said and wanted to say something. Just a few words to let him know he was there for him. But no word was coming past the lump he had in his throat. He forced all the images that were coming up away; there were important things to do right now. He found a detailed map of the business park and along with Sam he looked closely at it. After a minute or two Sam pointed out the location. It was a small warehouse and it didn't took Spike long to find out that it was rented under a fake business name. While Spike searched for the blueprints, Sam left the briefing room under guidance of Jules and Ed. They were bringing him up to the first aid room that was in the building and would wait there for the ambulance to arrive. Leah helped Spike to find more information about the people renting this warehouse, but without any luck. Every time they found a lead, the lead quickly turned into a dead end.

Greg walked over to them. "Team 5 is just arriving and team 3 will be in any second now. Find everything you can find out about this location and our subjects. As soon as everyone is here we will brief them and make a strategic plan." He told them.

"The ambulance will arrive soon and Jules is going to stay behind with Sam, if Sam is well enough to stay here a bit longer. I rather not transport him to a hospital before we know more. Ed is calling Wordy now, so he can stay here with them for support and back up." Greg continued.

It felt like it was only yesterday when he had dialled Wordy's number to tell him that Sam hadn't made it, but at the same time it felt like a decade ago. Now he was dialling his number and again he didn't really know what to say, or better, how to say it. But before he could think any longer about it, the phone was answered.

"Ed." His friend started. "What's up?" What's up indeed, was Ed's only thought. He couldn't come up with an answer before Wordy got a bit alarmed.

"Please say everyone is okay?" Wordy said hastily.

"Wordy I need you to come to the Barn as quick as possible. Don't tell anyone your coming, not even Shelley. Park in the underground garage used for our SRU cars. Some things have happened and we could use your help." Ed said.

"Off course, just tell me what's wrong Ed." Wordy begged for more information.

"It's about Sam. Actually, it is Sam. Ed said, emphasising the word 'is'.

"What do you mean?" Wordy asked confused.

"He is here Wordy, Sam is alive." Ed replied. He waited a few seconds for Wordy to process it. At first he only heard a gasp, but after a minute a soft reply came.

"On my way." He said, before disconnecting.

"Thank you guys for coming in at this late hour." Greg started the briefing.

"Only shortly ago we received news about the bombings two weeks ago. We don't know yet how it is done at this scale, but we do believe that a terrorist group was behind this. Not to start mayhem or make a statement, but to get there hands on something. Or better said, on someone. They were after our man Sam and they succeeded. At the moment we thought he died in the explosion, he was transported out of the building to an empty warehouse. He has been held hostage for two weeks and interrogated, until he found a way to escape tonight." Greg finished. He looked at the face of team 3 and 5 and many of them were confused or in disbelieve. But not Donna, Ed had informed her personally one a few minutes ago and her face was smiling with tears in her eyes.

"I know you are all confused and want to know more, but I ask you to put those thoughts away for tonight. We have the location of where Sam was held and we need to go there and clear out the building as soon as possible. Spike has found us a blue print." Greg said while pointing at the projection of the blue print on the white screen behind him. There are three ways to enter the building, 3 doors and no windows. Meaning we need to split in three groups. Team one, with Ed, Spike, Leah, Donna, Adam and myself will take the side entrance. This is the same entrance Sam escaped from. We will walk up this hallway into the room that was used for interrogation. We should find three bodies in there." Greg said while showing them the route team one is supposed to take.

"Team 3 will take the main entrance, spilt up and explore the south rooms and hallways. Most likely you will find the room Sam was kept between interrogation." Greg pointed out.

"Team 5 will go in via the backdoor at the north side of the building. There is only one area and one small office there, but we don't know what's in this area. It might be used as storage, so be careful. We don't know if anyone is still in the warehouse and how many. They can be hiding behind everything." Greg concluded. He saw the three tactical team leaders writing down all the information and making the tactical plan for their team. For a moment he felt all the emotions he was feeling when he first saw Sam rushing back, but he quickly shoved them away.

"Okay guys, gear up when you are ready. I want to leave as soon as possible." He ordered them.

At the same moment there was a man standing outside, staring at the massive building in front of him and observing the parking lot.

Her car was there, so were the cars of the other teammates. He thought. They weren't supposed to be there so early after their first shift. She wasn't supposed to be there at all. This could only mean one thing, he was in there. He thought back at the last order he received from his new boss. Earlier that evening his former boss had just died when he received a call from his new boss. New plans were made and he had an import part in it. A big smile crossed his face when he thought about his part. He had finally gained their trust and he wasn't going to let them down.

The sound of a vehicle nearing brought him back from his thoughts. An ambulance without beacon and sirens was driving up to the SRU building. He swiftly stepped back into the shadows. Oh yes, he is definitely in there, he thought.

I hope you liked it, comments and reviews are really appreciated :)
