A/N: Hey everyone, it's been a while. Gonna be honest, completely forgot about this. Somehow it came to me and it gave me some heavy nostalgia for when I was writing this story. Gonna continue for a bit, just for fun. Don't expect much, also don't expect the same tone/pairings whatever. Suggest ideas and I'll probably incorporate them just 'cos this is now purely for fun. Oh also, I read through the story again and I have no real idea of where I was heading with it so I'm gonna do a little retconning, and as has been mentioned in some reviews am no longer going to be taking elements from the different shows, completely original stuff yay (Doesn't mean it will be good though).
To start off here are some of the changes:
Ignore the awful flirty dialog some of the characters had in previous chapters, I'm going to attempt to remedy it.
No more off to ESU to see venom and whatnot, that can come later and in a different form
No one knows Pete is Spider-Man, not the X-Men and not Felicia
Pete is very new to the vigilante business and I hope this means I can introduce a mentor of sorts
Not sure what I'm going to do with 'Zoe Andrews' (Who even is that, Joey?) I suppose she was supposed to be a love interest of something but I'm sure I'll find something for her to do.
"One step, two steps, three steps four" Peter sings as he climbs up a building, in the dead of the night. "Does it count as steps when all four limbs are used to travel?". Obviously a bit of a slow night, Spider-Man has just been traversing the Bayville area scouting out possible crimes. Having only been doing this superhero shindig for a few weeks, he's still not sure how he wants to tackle it. His thoughts interrupted by a gunshot, Spider-Man web swings his way over to the area of the sound. Spotting a man firing a gun in a dark alley way, he rushes towards him, webbing his weapon away with some webbing and a quick motion.
"WHAT THE?!" Yells the assailant
"Dude, you dropped this" Spidey says as he goes to hand the gun back to the criminal. "Just kidding. I'd be a pretty bad superhero if I gave you back your weapon, huh?" While saying this he flips the crook upside down and webs him to the wall.
"LET ME GO, YOU BASTARD!"
"Man, c'mon, language." Heading to where the man was firing, Spider-Man notices a woman hiding behind a trash can. "Miss, are you ok?"
"Y-yeah. I think. A lil scared. That's normal right haha?"
"Yeah, sure, normal. Uh why was he trying to shoot you?"
"I wouldn't give him my purse"
"It's lucky I was here huh? Can I trust you to call the police and get home safe?"
"Yeah yeah. Of course. Thank you, you saved my life."
"No problem, that's what I'm here for!" Spidey replies, with a faint smile like mark hidden behind his mask.
"Who are you?"
"I've been thinking of calling myself something like Spider-Man."
"Man? You look about 16."
"Hey hey! I saved your life, anyway gotta go, be safe!" The last words trail off as he swings to a nearby rooftop. After some fun misadventures in vigilantism Peter decides to head on home. Feeling a rush from helping people he can't really get to sleep. Peter lies in his bed with a small smile thinking about how his Uncle might be proud of him.
NEXT MORNING
After a lovely breakfast with the gang, Peter heads to school. He still doesn't feel entirely comfortable there but now he has his proper timetable with some fun classes. Only he would think of class as fun. He headed to science class, due to it being a new term (Gonna be honest, going off of how schooling works in the UK 'cos I'm not sure how it works in the US, please if you can explain it for my simple brain in a review that'd be great 3) he would be starting a new topic along with his class. Entering a few minutes late the professor inquires as to who this young boy is, and once explains makes him introduce himself before making him sit next to a pink haired girl on the third row.
"Hey! Peter, yeah? Remember me?" The pink haired girl asks.
"Creepy girl from the warehouse? Zoe I think?"
"Everything right minus the creepy part, bit rude if I'm honest"
"Welcome to the real world." Class goes on as normal with Peter finding no troubles adjusting to this new class environment he found himself in, and sitting next to a somewhat friend, Zoe, made it easier and less daunting.
A/N: Hope you enjoyed the return of this mediocre fan fiction, checking it almost two years later and finding out people didn't think it was absolutely awful was kind of a shocker, if I'm honest. Having fun writing again, haven't done anything like that since English last year. Oh college how you don't let me write creatively...
