Library-

There are upsides and downsides to being in college. You could consider the fact that they have enormous libraries and upside. You could consider the fact that distracting boyfriends named Percy Jackson attend them a downside, well sometimes. If you put the two together well you get one very conflicted me.

"Annabeth." I heard Percy call my name, but chose to ignore him and continued reading my book. "Annabeth." I shot an annoyed paired of eyes at him before returning to my book. "Annabeth!" I jumped at his sudden increase in volume

Several people shot us annoyed looks and shushed us before returning to their own books and work.

"What!?" I hissed at him in annoyance.

"Can we go? We have been here for hours!" He whisper shouted at me.

"Percy, we have not been here for-" I looked at the clock, "oh well would you look at that, we have been here for hours."

"Can we go then!?" He asked hopefully.

"No! I want to finish this book, I told you that this morning when we got here." I said gesturing to the book in my hand, "Look I'm more than halfway done."

Percy gave me his 'are you serious' look, "You still have like 300 pages left!"

"432 actually." I said as flipped to the last page to make sure I was correct, I was.

"Annabeth please I am so bored! Can't you just finish it tomorrow?"

"No I have class tomorrow."

"A class that you don't even need to pay attention to in order to pass!"

I sighed, "Percy just go find a book to read, we'll go home in a couple of hours." Percy grumbled and walked away. I sighed and started reading my book again.

I had gotten through several pages when I was suddenly lifted into the air, and throw over someone's shoulder. I yelped loudly in surprise before hissing at the person responsible. "Percy! Put me down!" I whisper shouted, while hitting his back.

"I don't have a library card, but do you mind if I check you out?" He chuckled as he walked towards the exit.

"You most certainly cannot! Now put me down!"

He ignored me and continued on his path to the exit. "You see I couldn't find a book entertaining enough to check out so I decided to just check out something even more entertaining. You."

"Don't think for even a minute that I will be entertaining you in any way for the next week!" I hissed. "Now put. Me. Down."

"Not a chance Annabeth." He said tightening his grip on my legs, "And I'll be taking that." He said snatching the book out of my hands.

"Give me that back!"

Percy ignored me. "Hi, my girlfriend here would like to check this book out." I heard him say to the librarian at the front desk.

I turned my head to see the librarian sigh and shake her head and smile slightly. "Of course, may I see her library card please?"

"Sure thing." Percy stuck his hand in my back pocket and withdrew my well worn library card. "Here you go." He said handing it to her.

"Thank you." She said taking it and swiping it, before handing it and the book back to Percy. "It's due in a week."

"Thank you ma'am." He said stuffing the card in his pocket. "Have a good night."

"You too Percy," she said smiling as he walked towards. "Bye Annabeth, see you tomorrow dear."

"Bye." I called back before the door closed.

Once Percy had gotten down the stairs of the library he set me on my feet again and handed me back my book, which I then proceeded to slap him with.

Once satisfied with the number of times I hit him I sighed and started walking down the street with him. "I wish she would just let you walk out of the building with me like that."

"She didn't the first time," Percy reminded me, "But after it just kept happening over and over again she just gave up."

I crossed my arms and huffed as we rounded the corner to where our apartment was.

"Oh quit with the pouting, you can go back tomorrow." He said once we were in the confines of our apartment. "Now if you don't mind," he said pushing me against the wall, "I checked out a very entertaining girlfriend from the library today, and I would like to enjoy my time with her before I have to return her tomorrow."

I smirked. The book ended up staying untouched on the nightstand for the rest of the night.

Lexie: Yes I know it has been forever! Do not kill me. I enjoy being alive! So I finally wrote a chapter and you can all thank Spindle89, who this chapter is dedicated to, for motivating me to write a chapter. I hope you all enjoyed it! It's a little long than all the other chapters, though I know that doesn't make up for the long absence.

You guys all remember that teacher I was complaining about last chapter, the one that made me destroy a book for a project. Well I got an A in his class! (That is no easy feat my friends) And I also got a 100 on the book destroying project. (I made mine play music, I really think that is the only reason everyone was so amazed by it.) How are your classes this year? Enjoying or hating them?

Oh and in case any of you were unsure, the pick-up line for this was: "I don't have a library card, but do you mind if I check you out?"
