A/N: Here's part 2 - I wrote it from the moment I put up part 1 on here. Amusez-vous!

EDIT: Gods of Olympus, imagine my surprise when I got on here to write the next chapter and realized I hadn't posted this one yet! That's why I always check before writing the next chapter - otherwise you guys woulda been really confused!

The baboon (whom I had nicknamed Ook) dealt with and the door opened, I was met with yet another white room. It was mostly empty except for one thing - a laptop. It was open, a blank document open.

On the corner a sticky note was placed carefully. 'Sonic, you can use this to ask me questions when I'm not stalking you. -NoC' it read. Then, after that it continued, 'PS, the screen comes off the base.'

When I picked up the laptop and closed it, wondering where I was going to put it. In response, a small pouch materialized where the laptop had been. I gave it a skeptical look before picking it up and making to place the laptop in it. It became larger and I put the laptop in, immediately shrinking again when I was done.

Anyway, that done, the room dissolved and dumped me in out in the open. I looked at two bridges nearby that had the same little fans as the barred door. I pursed my lips and raised my eyebrows before pulling out my newly acquired 'Gale Boomerang'.

I aimed it, sort of locking onto both of the fans in my head and let the Gale Boomerang fly. Much to my amazement, it seemed to follow my thoughts and hit both fans. I crossed the first bridge and briefly paused, thinking I heard someone say my name. As I shook my head and made to continue, it happened again.

I turned and spotted someone I had sort of hoped I'd never see again - Scourge, my evil twin. And I am completely serious about that.

"Scourge?" I asked.

"That'd be me." He said as he approached. "Got any clue where the hell we are, Blue?"

He was wearing the same thing I was, but in the same reverse as our fur colors - where mine was green his was blue.

"Yeah." I turned away, starting across again. "Hyrule." Under my breath I added, "But what you're doing here, I'll never know."

"Sorry Sonic. His being here wasn't really my idea - it was Faron's." My invisible tormentor said.

"I can hear you, you ass." Scourge said.

"Oh, you don't like her either?" I asked him as I threw the Gale Boomerang again after briefly considering it in order to free a monkey.

Scourge watched me curiously before replying, "Of course I don't like her. I'm more surprised that you don't. Aren't you supposed to be the good guy?"

I made a sound somewhere between a 'hmph' and a laugh as we headed back toward the main room, the monkey having run off to join the others. They helped us cross back to the other side and then ran off.

"Maybe. Doesn't mean I get along with everybody though." I shrugged indifferently. I pushed open the door, immediately striking down a chest from above the platform with the Gale Boomerang. I opened it and retrieved the Compass inside while I continued, "And our invisible menace has a way of drying my patience and making me lose my temper."

Scourge seemed highly intrigued by that. "Wow, Blue. Admitting to losing your patience with someone?"

I shrugged again as I landed on the platform in front of the West Door. Scourge followed and I shoved the door open.

"Even I have anger issues. I just handle mine better than you or Knuckles."

I led him carefully, still not lighting my lantern.

"Gods it's dark in here." He muttered.

"I have a lantern." I replied, "I just prefer not to have to pay overcharging scoundrels for more oil too often."

We walked into the West room and I led him to a bar covered alcove in the back of the room. It was across a bridge... over the water... I forced myself not to glare and jump each time the planks groaned under my weight.

Scourge laughed. "You really are different when your friends aren't around, aren't you?"

I raised and lowered my brows in succession, and aimed the Gale Boomerang again, taking note of the Z pattern on the floor. Just like outside I concentrated on the boomerang going to each fan in succession to each other. The gate in front of me opened and I made my way to the ornate chest that had been inside. I really do take not of things when people aren't sure I do. Especially things I think I could use later.

The chest contained an ornate key, which, after a second, I placed in the pouch at my side. I noticed Scourge's curious expression and the way he was looking between me and the chest.

"What are you doing, anyway?" He asked after a minute.

I considered it for a moment. "I'm not exactly sure." I said, "I just know I have to dismiss something called the Twilight and deliver something to the Castle."

Midna put in an appearance, "And defeat Zant." She told me.

"...And defeat someone called Zant." I agreed.

Sorry about my sudden lack of detail, but with Scourge there, I hardly noticed my surroundings. Sure, Midna was good company, but she wasn't in the open often enough for me to be distracted.

We trailed trough the temple for a while, freeing monkeys - well, I freed monkeys while he watched with a faintly bemused expression on his face. The last monkey was in a room with more of those suspicious tiles. After eyeing them for a second, I aiked at a few of them with the Gale Boomerang and uprooted them. Under them each of them was a strange worm type thing.

I barely thought about it before I pounced on the nearest one and stabbed it. That marked the forst time I used my sword in Scourge's presence, as even the Skulltulas could be taken out otherwise if you knew what you were doing. He gave me a skeptical look as I took out the other worm-things, but wisely waited until I had sheathed my sword again to speak up.

"Aren't you the guy who said he'd never be caught dead with a weapon?"

I thought about it for a second. "...I did say that, didn't I? Well, I should've been more specific - I won't be caught dead with a gun. Key word: caught."

He raised his eyebrows. "Oh, so as long as no one knows you're using one, you'll use a gun?"

I chuckled and nodded. "Pretty much, yeah."

As I had gone out of my way to kill every one of the tile monsters, we made our way to the monkey and I got out the Gale Boomerang. Scourge was full of questions, though, so as I let it fly into two fans, he spoke up some more.

"So, what's the point of freeing these monkeys?" He asked.

I shrugged, "No clue. With any luck, they're providing us with a way to get to the door this unlocks." I held up the ornate key, which I had fished out of the pouch. "If not, then we're being nice, which I'm sure just boils your blood."

Scourge rolled his eyes at me. "Hey, we're being honest with each other here, so here's a little known fact about me - I know how to be nice. But only if I want to."

"Oh." I said, "So it's like how I can turn into one evil bastard if I want to?" At his skeptical look I said, "Just ask Tails - I can act evil very well, if I'm properly motivated. In some cases I can even do it without trying, but that's only when someone has royally pissed me off."

We followed this monkey back to a room we'd visited once or twice earlier, where all the other monkeys were waiting. To our shock, as soon as it joined the others, they began to make a rope, swinging from where we were to a large, ornate door on the other side.

When it was long enough for me to grab onto, I used the long monkey rope to get to the other side, waiting until Scourge was safely across as well to approach the door. Scourge spoke up when we stood before it, saying exactly what I thought.

"An ornate key inside an ornate chest... And now this big, ornate door? Call me crazy, but I think maybe that key unlocks this door - and whoever came up with this place wasn't very creative."

I nodded, withdrew the key again and used it to open the big door. Scourge and I walked through as it slowly swung itself open. There was more of the sickly colored fog within and two giant Deku Babas.

"Oh dolce madre di tutto ció che é santo..." I said. "I know how to kill the normal ones, but these are gonna be difficult."

Scourge loked around. "What if you threw those at them?" He pointed to some Bomb Spiders.

"That just may work." I conceded.

I activated one and tossed it right into the mouth of one of the Deku Babas. It didn't like that and soon Scourge and I were dodging while I propelled the Bomb Spiders with the Gale Boomerang. A little while later, a center bud popped up and sprayed more of the sickly colored fog at us, though I was starting to realized this was more like goop.

Seeing as it was Scourge and I it was trying to spray, though, it should hardly be surprising that it missed quite completely. When it was done with that, all of us stayed still for a while until, with a shock, I realized I could hear a very familiar sound. Then, Ook appeared, a bomb held out in my general direction.

I threw the Gale Boomerang and mentally locked on the bomb and then the center head. Ook made repeated rides across the long vine in the top of the cavern, each time holding a bomb. After a few hits, the center head fell, and Ook sat down on one of the platforms the vine was attatched to to wait for it to get back up. Smart baboon.

While it was down, a tongue type thing with an eye on the end rolled out of its mouth, and I repeatedly slashed at it, then fell back to let Scourge homing attack it a few times. We repeated this tactic for quite some time until finally the creature exploded.

Yeah. I just said that.

The blast should have coated us in that goop, but it disappeared before it could. It left behind a small piece of something, almost helmet, that Midna snatched up upon appearance. A blue circle of light appeared, and Scouge and I stepped onto it. We touched down on the ground outside the temple.

"Well." Scourge said. "That was interesting. Something tells me I'm not allowed to leave either so... Just continue to lead the way, I guess." He said, looking sort of uncomfortable.

I did. I led him in a streak of blue past Coro's place and to the new edge of the Twilight. He followed me in a streak of green.
