A/N: Here is the new chapter. Sorry, this took me longer than I planned. I was busy at work, but this chapter wasn't working out. I went back and added some scenes and it finally clicked. I hope that you enjoy this chapter.

Dulcea smiled as she watched the falcon and crane spirit animals circle each other. The other animals were quiet as they watched the lord and lady of the skies assume their place among them. It had been years since the Ninjetti spirits had been together. It didn't matter. The spirits knew their places: next to each other.

"What has you smiling?" Zordon asked.

"Look," Dulcea said as she pointed in front of her.

Zordon saw nothing at first. Then he focused on the spirits he knew Dulcea could see. Once he focused, he saw white and pink ribbons circling each other. He knew it was the falcon and crane spirit animals.

Since he wasn't connected to the spirit world as Dulcea was, he couldn't see the actual animals. He knew they were there. The energy coming at him, told him it was his rangers. He knew their energy better than his own.

"How do you feel about your rangers stepping back into an arena where one of them could die?" Dulcea asked.

"I hope that prophecy doesn't come true," Zordon replied.

"Everything else has come true," Dulcea pointed out.

"Not everything," Zordon said glancing down at the Master Warrior. "The prophecy states that the falcon and crane wouldn't fly together again."

"You know that could be as a result of the battle," Dulcea said with a sigh. "I don't want to think about it, but you might need to prepare your rangers."

"I'll prepare them for battle, like I always do," Zordon said as he turned away from her.

"Zordon, you need to tell them about the prophecy at least," Dulcea stated. "They need to know what they are facing."

"They are rangers," Zordon said. "They know what it means to suit up."

She shook her head. "I hope you know what you're doing. They're not kids anymore. They're not protected."

"Dulcea, they were never protected. They knew the risks."

"They were teenagers. Death is the furthest thing from their minds at that age. They think they can take on the world and live through whatever is thrown at them," Dulcea stated.

"That might be true for other teenagers, but the rangers are not normal. You know there is something within them," Zordon said.

"I still think you should tell them."

"It's better for them to go into the battle not knowing it could be their death," Zordon said. "I don't want the worry in the back of their mind while they're fighting."

"Are you worried that they will choose not to fight if they knew?" Duclea asked.

"No, they will always fight," Zordon answered slowly.

"Then what worries you that you can't tell them?"

"I'm worried that the others will join in," Zordon replied. "They don't have powers, but if they thought one of their friends would die in the battle, they would fight. I can't have them fighting Ivan without powers."

"They've already fought his tengas," Dulcea pointed out.

"Yes, but those birds are different. Ivan has a personal grudge against the Power Rangers. He was trapped by the first set of rangers, and then almost destroyed by another set."

"The first set of rangers were punished."

"At least the punishment didn't last forever," Zordon said as he glanced away.

"It almost did," Dulcea said.

"Well for one of us it didn't last," Zordon said looking back at the Master Warrior. "You know you didn't have to agree."

"They were going to kill you," Dulcea whispered as she moved away. "I did what I had to at the time. I also protected this planet and its power supply."

"Did I ever thank you?"

"No," Dulcea replied. "But then again, you didn't have too. We made our choices to seal him away. I don't regret mine."

"I've never regretted mine," Zordon stated. "I just wish he would've stayed sealed."

"Humans can be so dumb," Dulcea said.

"Don't forget it was humans who were able to finally control the Ninjetti spirits," Zordon said.

She nodded as she finally looked back at her best friend. "Tell me they can defeat him."

"You know they can," Zordon said. "It's been their destiny."

"Funny thing about destinies, they can change," Dulcea said.

"Yes, they can," Zordon agreed. "It can be a good thing."

"Or bad," Duclea remarked. "I guess only time will tell."

"It always has," Zordon said before walking away from Dulcea.

Dulcea watched as Zordon left the clearing. She wasn't sure where he was going, but she knew he needed time to think. The prophecy weighted heavily on her mind. She knew it weighted just as heavily on Zordon's mind. When Ivan was released the first time, she worried about the six rangers Zordon sent to her. The worry she felt now was more than it was then. Everything about the prophecy was coming true.

Zordon needed to tell his rangers.

XXXX

"Tommy," she breathed as she stepped back.

"No, this is us," he assured her as he took her hands in his. "Hayley is like my kid sister. She helped me with the Dino Rangers. We were not and are not an item."

"I just," she began but was stopped by his lips.

Tommy wrapped his arms around her and pulled her up to her tiptoes. This was the best way to communicate with Kimberly. She got into her mind too much, but not when she was focused on him. He felt her arms come up and wrapped around his neck. Straightening, he picked her up without losing her lips. Instantly her legs locked around his waist as they were meant too.

She pulled back slightly to look at him.

"Kim, I promise you that nothing has happened with Hayley and nothing will," he promised.

"I'm so sorry," she whispered as tears slipped down her cheeks. "I should have stayed to talk to you. I shouldn't have walked away."

"You were hurt, I'm sorry that I didn't explain earlier," he said as he kissed her tears away. "I do want to know what your answer is."

"I might have to think about it," she said closing her eyes. "I mean I do live in Florida."

"Kimberly Anne Hart," he warned.

"Yes," she said with a smile.

"It that your answer?"

"Is it?" she questioned as she laced her fingers together behind his neck.

"Woman, you frustrate me," he said as he kissed her before lowering her feet to the ground. "I do have a ring."

"On you?" she asked as she eased back.

"Yes," he said as he reached into his pocket. "I don't know why I grab it before I left the house."

"You left your phone but remembered a ring?" she asked.

"To be honest, I normally carry the ring in my pocket," he said pulling the tiny ring out of his pocket. "It reminds me of you."

She smiled as he took her left hand and slid the ring on her third finger. Raising her hand, she looked at the ring. It was prefect with a pink diamond on a band covered in white diamonds.

"Tommy," she breathed as she looked up at him. "It's perfect."

"I designed it or at least told the jeweler what I wanted," he said as he took her hands in his once again.

"You know this won't be easy," she said leaning against him with her head on his chest.

"I know," he whispered. "We can make this work."

She laughed. "I wasn't talking about us," she said as she pulled back. "I was talking about facing Ivan Ooze again. Neither one of us have been in spandex in years. This won't be easy."

"About that," Tommy said as he took a deep breath. "I need to tell you something."

XXXX

"Isn't that sweet," Ivan spat out.

"Do you want to stop them?"

"No, let them bask in their joy," Ivan replied. "They don't have very long to enjoy it. They won't see their wedding day."

XXXX

Jason moved another rock to the side. They were in the center of what used to be the Command Center. The sun was peeking over the horizon. He couldn't believe it had been almost a day that they arrived in Angel Grove.

He ordered the others to try to get some sleep. No one needed to pass out due to no sleep. Andros offered places to sleep on the Megaship. Everyone decided sleeping in shifts would work best.

Jason was the only one who didn't take a shift. He wouldn't be able to sleep anyway. He had no clue what Ivan was planning. His two best friends were somewhere he hoped working on finding their spirit animals while the other Ninjetti disappeared for their journeys.

"You need sleep," Trini stated.

"I couldn't even if I wanted to," he stated as he rubbed his hands on his pants. "Did you sleep?"

"I did," she replied. "Of course nightmares plagued my sleep."

"How are the others?" Jason asked glancing at the rubble he'd moved.

"Worried, scared, but they're sleeping," she said. "I think Tommy and Kimberly are close to finding their powers again."

"What makes you say that?" he asked.

"I don't know, but I can feel it," she replied. "Can't you feel the charge in the air? It wasn't there a few hours ago."

He closed his eyes and felt the charge. "You're right," he said as he opened his eyes. "I can almost see the sparks."

"I wonder if Ivan Ooze feels it?" she asked looking around at the rubble.

"Maybe, but I think he's watching their journey," he stated as he grabbed another rock to move. "He knows how close they are to finding their powers."

"I'm sure he does," she remarked as she grabbed another rock to move.

"Don't," he warned as he grabbed the rock from her. "They are heavier than they look."

"Jason, I can help," she stated as she placed her hands on her hips.

"I know, but I don't want you to hurt yourself trying to prove that either," he said as he set it aside.

"Have you found anything to suggest this is the spot?" she asked looking around at the spot he'd cleared.

"No, but my gut's telling me it's here," he said looking at her.

"Well, it's never steered you wrong before," she stated. "I'm not arguing with it now."

"Arguing with what?" Andros asked behind them.

"Jason's gut," Trini replied.

"Are you sure it's your gut and not Zordon guiding you?" Andros asked.

Jason laughed as he grabbed another rock. "No, but I'll follow either one."

Trini shook her head as Andros knelt down to help Jason. They were silent as they moved several rocks to the side.

"They wouldn't let you help?" Tanya asked as she came up beside Trini.

"No," Trini replied.

"Have they found anything?" Tanya asked.

"Not that I know of," Trini answered. "But Jason has a feeling."

"What is it with Red Rangers having a feeling?" Cassie asked as she joined the girls with Ashley, Karone, Kat, and Kira right behind her.

"It's a leader thing," Connor stated.

"Oh please," Kira laughed. "It's not a leader thing. Your feelings weren't accurate."

"It's not about them being leaders," Tanya said. "It's about them listening and waiting. Take Jason for example. He's silent until he needs to say something. It gives his words more impact."

"It's the same with all the Reds," Trini said.

"Except for Rocky," Ashley said.

"Actually, for Rocky too," Kat said. "He might be loud, but he does have his moments."

"Rocky also wasn't the leader during his time in Red," Cassie pointed out. "Tommy was."

"True, but he stepped up when needed," Zhane said.

"Zhane, how do you know? You were frozen?" Karone asked as she looked at her husband.

"I've watched videos," Zhane replied with a shrug. "Every ranger has their own feeling. Some sense something before others, but they all have it."

"That's true," Trini said. "I remember Kimberly having weird feelings. She even mentioned something about our lives were about to change. That was the day before we were chosen by Zordon."

"I can't believe you were the first Yellow Ranger," Kira stated. "I'm still in shock."

"I don't think I was the first," Trini said. "I have a feeling Zordon hasn't told us the full history of the rangers."

"Did Zordon ever tell you anything?" Andros asked.

"No," Zack said as he knelt down next to Jason. "But I never questioned why he didn't tell us more."

"It was like he wanted us to make our own decisions," Kat said.

"He wanted us to choose this life," Jason stated as he stood up.

"Do you think he might've been a ranger before being in the time warp?" Andros asked.

"I think it's a possibility," Justin stated. "Think about it, he knew everything."

"But he didn't tell us until he had too," Zack said.

"It didn't affect us," Trini said.

"The fight might've been a little easier if he explain the past of the rangers and the evil we faced," Tanya stated.

"No, we would've worried," Kat said.

"Kat's right," Ashley said. "He knew we could do the job without knowing everything."

"Honestly, I don't know if I want to know the full history of the Power Rangers," Jason said. "I'm not sure we could handle knowing Zordon's past."

"Probably not," Trini agreed as she stepped closer to her husband.

"I miss this," Justin said.

"What?" Trent asked.

"I miss the team being together," Justin replied. "I miss coming together to solve a problem. Nothing was ever too big when we worked together."

"No it wasn't," Kat agreed. "And this problem of finding the Command Center isn't too big."

Trini smiled as she closed her eyes. The energy she felt earlier was vibrating all around her. She felt it concentrated near her right hand. Opening her eyes, she moved slightly before kneeling. It was the spot that Jason and the others had cleared. She moved one rock and finally saw the spot.

"I found it," Trini whispered before glancing up at Jason. "I found it."

"What?" Jason asked kneeling beside his wife.

"I found the last spot," Trini said with a smile.

"Where's the Pink Power Coin?" Zack asked. "We need to get it in the spot."

"Do you think Kimberly believes again?" Kat asked.

"There's only one way to find out," Andros said.

"Trini, you do the honors," Jason said handing the coin to her.

"No, it should be Kat," Trini said as she stood up. "Kim chose you to replace her, so you should set the coin in its spot."

"Okay," Kat said as she took the coin from Trini and knelt down next to Jason.

"What's going on?" Hayley asked as she appeared beside Kira.

"Trini found the last spot and Kat is putting the coin in its place," Ethan said.

"Okay," Hayley said with a nod.

Everyone moved forward as Kat pushed the coin in its slot. They waited to see if the coin would glow pink or not.

"Trust Tommy to propose to Kimberly during a crisis," Rocky said with a laugh.

"You know I'm not shocked," Billy said. "For some reason, those two need a crisis to stop hiding."

"They may need counseling," Aisha stated. "They can't spend their whole lives holding back their emotions until we have a crisis."

"I agree," Adam said with a sigh. "But it's their thing, so I'm not questioning it."

"So have they found their powers?" Aisha asked.

"I don't think so," Billy replied. "I'm sure it's not that easy."

"If it is that easy for them, I'm protesting," Rocky stated. "I'm sure our journeys were not as easy."

"I'm sure that wasn't easy for them," Adam said. "Having to admit you were wrong to someone you love is hard."

"Adam's right, what they did took some guts," Billy said. "Facing your past isn't easy."

"No, it's not," Rocky said as he shook his head. "If it was their test then why aren't they here with us?"

"It wasn't their test," Dulcea said as she appeared in front of them.

"Oh, but they disappeared from the viewing," Aisha stated.

"I know, but I'm not sure why," Dulcea said. "You should be able to see them, but for some reason their spirit animals are blocking the view."

"Is something wrong?" Adam asked.

"Tommy and Kimberly are alright," Dulcea stated. "They will join you as soon as they reclaim their powers."

"How long will that be?" Billy asked.

"I don't know," Dulcea replied. "It depends on them."

"Okay," Rocky said. "We'll be ready when they get here."

Dulcea nodded before disappearing.

"I think something is wrong," Billy said with a sigh.

"What makes you say that?" Aisha asked.

"It was Dulcea's body language," Adam answered.

"Yeah," Billy confirmed.

"What?" Rocky asked.

"She wasn't herself," Adam said as he started to pace. "She knows something, but she's not telling us."

"Maybe it's not her place to tell us," Rocky muttered.

"You think Zordon is keeping something from us?" Aisha asked.

"Yes," Billy replied. "It worries me, but we've made it before without Zordon telling us everything."

"True," Aisha said while nodding her head. "I'm just worried about Tommy and Kimberly's journey. Those two have a lot of secrets between them."

"Yeah, they do," Rocky agreed. "But if anyone can wade through the past, those two can."

XXXX

"Are you about to tell me that you have a kid somewhere?" Kim asked as she stepped back from Tommy.

Tommy shook his head. "Why would you think I have a kid somewhere?" he asked.

"Uh, well, you wanted to tell me something," she reminded him.

"It was in reference to your comment about not being in spandex in a while," he said running his hand through his hair.

"Well, I know that you were active through Turbo and fought again for the Reds Only mission," she said. "It was still years ago."

"Maybe not as long as you think," he muttered.

"Tommy, I remember that Red Only mission," she said. "Trini kicked Jason out of the house for a week because he didn't tell her before he left."

"I know, he begged to stay with me," he said.

"Trini told him he couldn't stay with me," she stated. "He wasn't happy that he had to call you."

"I wasn't at home, so he didn't get to stay with me," he said.

"Oh I know," she laughed. "He stayed with Rocky."

"He should've told Trini where he was going," she said. "So why are you trying to convince me that you were in spandex a couple of months ago?"

He took a deep breath before looking directly at her. "Kim, I was in spandex a few months ago."

"What? How is that possible?"

"I didn't tell you everything that happened on the island," he said. "I found something before the island blew up."

"What did you find?" she asked crossing her arms across her chest.

"Dino Gems," he replied. "They have the ability to bond with someone's DNA."

"Okay."

He sighed. "Those gems had the ability to make them Power Rangers when combined with a morpher."

"What? Are you saying that you led another team?" she asked throwing her arms up.

"Well, I didn't lead the team as much as mentor them," he replied.

"Tommy, you're an awesome ranger, but you're not mentor material," she said. "And I don't mean that as a bad thing. Some people are better in the lead while others are better behind the scenes."

"I know, but those kids couldn't do it by themselves," he said. "Hayley made the morphers if I ever found anyone the gems would bond with."

"Hayley knew about this?"

"Yeah, it's one of the reasons, she was at the house," he said as he started to pace. "I never imagined that Connor, Kira, and Ethan would find the gems let alone touch them."

"So what color did you get and how?" she asked.

"I was the Black Ranger," he replied. "I was captured."

"Imagine that," she muttered while shaking her head. "It's not even Rita or Zedd and you got captured."

"I know," he said. "Anyway, Mesogogg had this gem encased in some material. Before I disappeared out of his lair, I grabbed it."

"How did you get the gem out? Or did it just bond through the material?"

"I appeared in front of the other rangers as one of the henchmen fired at them. The blast melted the material as I disappeared," he explained.

"What? Why did you disappear?" she asked.

"It's part of my new powers. I reappeared and morphed as the new Black Ranger," he stated. "It wasn't easy, but the other dinos learned how to be good rangers."

"So you became Zordon?" she asked with a smile.

"I guess I did, in a way," he replied. "It wasn't easy. I don't know how Zordon did it."

"He had faith," she said.

"Yes, he did," he agreed. "I wanted to tell you, but I knew you would worry. I worried enough about Mesogogg finding out about you."

"You thought they would use me against you, didn't you?"

"Yes," he admitted. "I couldn't risk anyone taking you. I couldn't put those kids through my pain. They didn't need their mentor falling apart because the woman he loves was taken."

She nodded as she wrapped her arms around his neck. "I'm sorry."

"It wasn't your fault. This is just us. It's always been us," he said.

"Yeah," she said easing back. "Tommy, I need to tell you something. I need to tell you the real reason I wrote the letter."

"What do you mean the real reason? I thought it was just because you were lonely and wasn't coming back," he said shoving his hands into his pockets.

She sighed and shook her head. "I lied."

"You lied? So you loved this other man," he said. "I am like your brother?"

"No."

"No? Which one is no?" he asked shifting from one foot to the other.

"Both," she replied. "It was the only way to make you stay. I had to break your heart. I had to save you."

"What are you talking about? Why did you have to save me?"

"Prince Gasket found me," she said.

"What? Kimberly, what happened? You didn't have powers," he said in a rush.

She closed her eyes as she thought back to that day. "He appeared outside the gym as I was leaving one night. I stayed later to nail a move on the balance beam that I'd been having problems with. I knew something wasn't right, but I never thought I would see Prince Gasket."

"You always stayed too late at the gym," he said shaking his head.

"Yes, but I wasn't tired. I just wasn't prepared to face a villain. He easily gained control and had me restrained. I tried to fight, but I knew I couldn't without powers. As I was held back, he laughed. He questioned whether I was the Original Pink Ranger since I couldn't even fight him."

"You didn't have powers," he said.

"I know, which is why I didn't fight back," she said. "He laid out his plan for me. He wanted to use me against you."

"How? I mean you were in Florida."

"He planned to bring me to the Moon Palace to lure you there," she said. "I asked him why he was telling me his plan."

"What was his answer? I just don't understand why he would tell you," he said.

"He said that I couldn't stop him," she replied.

"How did you get away?"

"Zordon teleported me to the Command Center," she said turning away from him. "Apparently he was watching over me and saw that Prince Gasket had me."

"Why didn't I know this?"

"Zordon and I discussed the episode," she stated as she turned to face him. "We both agreed that it was better if I cut all ties with the Power Rangers."

"What?" he shouted. "You agreed?"

"Yes," she whispered. "I didn't want to be captured again and used against you."

"I could've dealt with it," he said as he started pacing.

"But I couldn't," she cried. "Tommy, I loved you when I wrote that letter. I broke my heart the same time I broke yours."

"No, because you knew the reason," he protested. "All I got was a lie."

"I know," she whispered as she wiped away the tears. "For it to work, you needed to believe it."

"I did," he muttered. "I can't believe you and Zordon agreed that breaking me was the best answer."

"It was either that or watch you break the team by trying to come after me," she yelled. "I couldn't watch you break the Zeo Rangers while trying to get me back."

"Kimberly, we had powers. It wouldn't have broken the team," he said.

"Yes, it would've," she said. "Prince Gasket was going to make you choose me or your powers. He wanted the whole team to turn over their Zeo crystals."

"We could've found another way to get you back," he said.

"Like you did when Zedd had me?" she asked. "Tommy, you risked your life to get me back. If I would've had a choice in the matter, you wouldn't have done it."

"Kimberly, I will always make that choice. I loved you then and I love you now," he said taking her hands in his.

"I know, but I couldn't allow you to make that decision again. I couldn't watch the Power Rangers become powerless because of me. I know how that feels. I know what being powerless means," she cried as she squeezed his hands.

"We would've found a way," he said.

"Maybe, but I couldn't take that risk," she said. "Zordon agreed with me."

"Why? He knew how I would react to your letter," he said.

"Yes, I knew," Zordon said as he appeared.

"Zordon?" she cried.

"Yes, it's me," Zordon confirmed. "I've waited a long time for you two to come back together."

"I thought you died," Tommy said as he swallowed.

"Andros only released me from my time warp. I've been her on Phadoes waiting for the day you two would need your powers again," Zordon explained.

"I don't understand," Tommy said. "You agreed to with Kimberly to break me."

"Yes because I knew that you would find your way back together," Zordon admitted. "The wound would be deep, but you two could bridge any gap."

"I guess, but I lost a part of me when she wrote me that letter," Tommy said as he released Kimberly's hands. "I don't know if I'll get it back."

"You already have it back," Zordon announced. "Tommy, you were a mentor. You know that sometimes you had to make hard decisions on behalf of your rangers."

"I never made that decision," Tommy said.

"Maybe not, but I couldn't allow you to risk everything for Kimberly when there was another way," Zordon said. "It might've been tough and heartbreaking, but it was for the best. Prince Gasket would've killed Kimberly after gaining the Zeo Powers. She was your strength and he couldn't allow any of your strength to survive."

"I still should've been told before now," Tommy said.

"I should've told you when I saw after you got your Turbo Powers," Kimberly stated.

"Or just not have sent the letter," Tommy muttered. "You could've protected her in Florida."

"I was and Prince Gasket still found her," Zordon explained. "Tommy, I didn't make the decision lightly. I thought long and hard before agreeing with Kimberly's plan. I knew you wouldn't be the same ranger, but I knew you could survive."

"Barely," Tommy whispered.

"It's still surviving," Zordon said.

Tommy nodded as he looked from his mentor to Kimberly.

"I'm sorry," Kimberly whispered.

"It's okay," Tommy whispered as he pulled Kimberly closer. "I know the pain you felt was worse than mine. You made a tough decision, but it was for the better of the Power Rangers. I can't stay mad at you for taking that step to secure the future."

"I love you," Kimberly said as tears streamed down her cheeks.

XXXX

Jason waited as Kat eased back from the Pink Power Coin. He hoped Kimberly believed in herself again or that coin wouldn't unlock the last part of the Command Center. It would also mean that she hadn't found her powers either. He didn't know which one was worse: not unlocking the Command Center or Kimberly not having her powers.

He took a deep breath as the seconds ticked by. This wasn't a good sign. The other coins had all glowed within the first seconds.

"We have to believe in her," Trini whispered. "Belief goes both ways."

"Trini's right, Kimberly needs us to believe in her," Cassie stated.

Everyone nodded.

Jason thought about all the battles that they would've lost without Kimberly. She didn't hesitate to take her place in front of them and take down the monster. Threading her arrow into her bow before letting it fly had destroyed many monsters. The confidence she had in everyone as they faced their fears on the Island of Illusions. The joy she had when one of them beat a monster. The love she had for her friends.

Kimberly was the heart of the team.

She might've been chosen by Zordon, but she more than earned her right to be the Pink Ranger. His little sister that stood a little over five feet tall was a force to be reckoned with.

Smiling, Jason watched as the Pink Power Coin flicker a faint pink before strengthening to the brightest pink. It was so bright that it almost blinded him.

"She's bac!" Zack yelled.

Everyone cheered as the ground shook. The five spots started rising up towards the sky. Each one glowed one of the five colors.

"What's happening?" Connor yelled.

"We've unlocked the Command Center," Ashley said.

The five spots began to spin faster and faster until they became a blur of light.

No one knew what would happen next, but they were ready for it.

XXXX

So what did everyone think? Please let me know. The next chapter should be out soon.
