~*~ Optimus P.O.V ~*~

"Optimus." Ironhide called from behind me.

I turned to look at him, and already I could tell I would not be receiving any good news. He paused as if waiting for me to speak up,

"Alright 'hide, what is it?" I replied.

He sighed, "The Decepticons attacked Sam and D's school. Sam, Mikaela, and some strange looking boy were last seen driving off campus."

I waited, "And?" Was there more?

He looked at me with confusion, "I didn't mentioned anything about Delyia Prime. Don't you want to know what happened to her?"

My spark froze for a moment. The hurt look on her face the day she ran from me flashed in my processor. I felt my gears clench and tighten up, and I almost couldn't respond to Ironhide.

"I suppose it would be good to know how she made it out." I strained to respond.

Ironhide didn't speak for a few moments, his silence was all my spark needed.

"She did make it out right 'hide?" I asked him, my voice slightly altered, I attempted to cover it by clearing my voice processor.

With a heavy sigh Ironhide said, "No one saw Delyia leaving the campus. We don't know with certainty where she is."

My spark cracked and fell to the bottom of my chassis, all of the now frozen pieces laid there glittered at my feet. No sign of Delyia at all? What about the rings, if she were carrying those – .

"I need to check on something, I'll be back." I started off to the garage but Ironhide called me back.

"I just got word though Prime. I don't know how to tell you this, there were some reports of Delyia being dragged off to a well known Decepticon hideout." Ironhide visibly flinched when I stormed up to him.

"And why wasn't I informed then and there?" I snarled.

"Prime calm down. We didn't know if you wanted to know, and we weren't sure if it was true or not. We don't have time to be chasing down false leads, you said so yourself, Prime. Besides, we were busy trying to find ways to stop Megatron from attacking those cities! We've only known for a day – maybe." He apologized but the anger roared in my processor and drowned all noise out.

The bubble had popped, and my anger seeped through the gears of my chassis with vengeance. Small high pitched ringing resounded in my sound detectors as my voice bellowed through the N.E.S.T base, "Autobots!" I bellowed, "let's roll out!"

Everyone huddled up and we took off in a tornado of dust and debris. Not one member of my team questioned where we were going, all followed behind with the utmost loyalty. No one would hurt those I held close to my spark any longer; this is the last straw for the Decepticons. I lead out my team in a flurry of determination and frustration to hopefully where she'd be.

I'm coming Delyia, just hold on.

~*~ Delyia POV (Present Time) ~*~

Light blasted through a now gaping hole in the top of this warehouse. Still bound, I could not make out small details throughout the room in which I'd been laying. I was bound to a small concrete table by what I had now confirmed leather ties, and my clothing was now torn and dirtied. Other than minor scrapes and bruises scattered along my body, I was all intact and unharmed. As I began to move around I felt a sharp pain in the back of my head, causing me to freeze and groan in pain. After the pain subsided I looked over to where the light gleamed down, and what I saw spread hope in my heart. A small silver car laid in the middle of the glow, and three now groaning humans crawled out, seemingly unharmed. I recognized the short brown hair, and high pitched girlish squeals from Sam immediately. I tried to scream out to him, but my voice faltered and only a harsh guttural sound followed. Stunned by the sounds coming from my body I didn't attempt to get their attention for a few moments. I tried screaming once more and this time my voice began to sound a little more like a human's.

"Did you guys hear that shit?" Sam's roommate cried.

Leo right? Leslie? I can't remember.

"No I didn't hear anything idiot." Mikaela's voice resounded against the empty walls.

My heart bounded from my chest as I attempted to scream for them again, my voice slowly returning. They all turned towards my general direction in confusion.

"What the hell was that?" Sam shivered and looked to Mikaela.

"I don't know, why don't we let Leo figure it out." She smiled at the curly haired boy.

He shook his head wildly, "Oh hell no lady. I am not trying to die today!"

"I'll go. Watch my back." Sam sighed and treaded towards me with a small flashlight.

The light skittishly danced from either side of the room until it landed on me. I heard him sharply intake oxygen as he (I'm guessing) realized there was someone strapped to a table.

"Guys! There's a girl strapped to a table here!" He screeched, and as he approached me he screamed again, "Guys! It's fucking Delyia! She's here!"

Immediately, there was the sound of two sets of footprints pounding against the concrete floor as Mikaela and Leo ran towards where I laid. Then as they reached the stairs, the walls of the opposite side of the warehouse caved in. A boulder of silver metal dived in, and there towering above us stood Megatron. Fear gripped my throat as he glowered at us all. The dream from before pierced my mind again.

My eyes flicked upward, coming face to face with brilliant blood hued optics. A deep rumbling vibrated through the silver being towering above me,

"You, you are next."

In that moment, a scream ripped through me as the fear took hold. Megatron only grinned as he grabbed hold of Sam and tossed him to the other side of the room, where another concrete slab laid. He cackled as his long talons picked and prodded at Sam's body. My heart thundered in my head as I could only wait and watch the tortures I was so sure Megatron would give him. As seconds ticked by, anger grew faster than a the seed of jealousy and I found my mouth opening before I could stop myself,

"Hey – fuckface!" I screeched, Megatron looked to me.

His red optics lit up my skin, turning it into an almost blood red color. Tears continued to flood down the sides of my face as the demon approached me. He leaned in close and huffed hot air into my face.

"Do I have plans for you, little nasty." He ran a long talon down until he reached my feet, and sliced the skin.

I bit back a scream as he continued to inflict painful gashes upon different parts of my body, blood seeping through most of the cuts. Vaguely, I could hear Sam's screams in the background as a small Decepticon jumped onto my tender body. The cuts burned as his cool feet crawled all over me, checking each part of my body for God knows what. He held something in his small hands and a clicking sound erupted from him as he looked up to Megatron.

"This is a good specimen, good work."

Megatron nodded, and the small Decepticon turned back to me with it's glowing red optics.

"Trust me, I'm a doctor."

Then pain erupted all over my body as he poured the seemingly searing hot liquid onto each of my gashes. My mouth flew open into a silent scream as my body began convulsing, my limbs thrashing from side to side involuntarily. Tears blurred my vision as I felt my heart rate begin to speed up, and I began to turn my head blindly from left to right, feebly looking for someone to free me from this. The pain increased and this time I let loose a blood curdling scream into the air. This went on for what seemed like hours before I faintly heard, over the roar of pain, screams and shouting. I blinked away the tears as my body began to numb the pain and noticed a flash of blue and red, then a flash of yellow, and another of sliver. The silver made my heart race but I then felt my restraints loosening. That's when I noticed Sam had somehow made it to me, along with Mikaela and Leo, and they were freeing me. I smiled at them as Sam picked me up, glancing at Mikaela and Leo.

"We need to leave. Delyia, can you stand?" Sam looked at me, I felt him shake as Mikaela slapped his arm.

"No you fucking idiot. Of course she can't stand, she was just sliced to pieces!" She glowered at him.

I put a hand up to stop her, "No – I think I'm okay to stand, the pain is going away." I wearily smiled as Sam prepared to put me down.

When my feet collided with the damp floor, I almost fell however Sam caught me just in time. He was about to pick me up again when I stopped him, and pushed him away. I wobbly stood for a few moment, gathering my balance as my mind pushed through the pain I was in.

~Optimus P.O.V (A few moments earlier)~

As we pulled up to the warehouse I felt my spark's electricity spike. Please be here. I silently wished as we transformed, my team standing tall behind me. I sensitized my sound processors to listen for any sign of her. Suddenly, a shriek of pain was heard about four yards to our left and my spark knew then, it was her. My body reacting before my processor, it leapt into the warehouse and broke down the walls. What I saw almost sent me into offline mode: there stood Megatron, towering over Delyia's small form, with bruises and thick wounds dotted along her tiny limbs. My chassis stood in shock at the scene laid before me, it wasn't until the rest of my team arrived that I was shaken from my state.

"Megatron, get away from her!" I bellowed before tackling him out of the warehouse.

~*~ Delyia P.O.V. (Current time) ~*~

I stood proud before the three of them, able to walk and move on my own. Not very fast, but on my own.

"We need to leave, now." I reminded them, and we ran as fast as we could out of the building. Sam grabbed my hand and lead me through the warehouse, and it wasn't until we were outside that we noticed we had been separated from Mikaela and Leo. We glanced around for them but only saw Bee speeding away. We looked at each other with teary eyes and hugged one another.

"I'm sorry you had to –"

"Don't mention it. I love you bro'." I smiled at Sam.

The next moment, a large Peterbilt truck pulled up next to us and the door flew open.

"Get in." I heard Optimus command us, and we complied.

Sam helped me get into the vehicle and he hopped in right behind me. No sooner had Sam closed the door, did Optimus speed off to God knows where.

"Sam," Optimus spoke through the radio, "Keep her safe until I can get us away from them."

Sam nodded, and no words needed to be exchanged. I looked to Sam and back towards the dash, I laid a gentle hand on the steering wheel and felt Optimus speed up.

"Optimus, everyone needs you alive. They all need you. So don't do something mostly stupid and slightly heroic." I smiled.

"No promises." He rumbled back, his tone gentle.

I felt the sudden need to cry as a sense of foreboding washed over me like a tide. I turned to Sam and laid my head on his shoulder, he wrapped a comforting arm around me.

"Delyia, he will pay for what he did to you." Optimus growled.

"Optimus," I whispered. "I –"

Just then we were thrown form the vehicle and Sam tumbled along with me onto grass.

"Sam!" I screamed and ran towards him, against all of my body's pleas.

He scrambled to get up and grab my hand. We started running away when Optimus yelled,

"Sam, hide! Remember what I said!"

He turned back to fight the Decepticons as Sam and I continued to run for our lives. I couldn't feel my feet anymore as we thundered across the fields. I heard rumbling going on behind us and I turned for a moment and saw Megatron coming up behind us. With a screech I tugged Sam along, trying to run faster than my legs would allow.

"No!" Optimus yelled and tackled Megatron aside.

The two, entangled in one another, landed blow upon blow against each other. Sam and I hide behind a log as Optimus continued to fight off Megatron. Suddenly, three other Decepticons appeared and Optimus took them all on. Swiftly, and expertly, he dodged and swung against all of their attacks. He jumped onto one as he got the upper hand, and tore him apart from the head down.

"Go Optimus!" I yelled.

His fighting increased as he continued to dodge, swing, stab, and roll around, knocking dozens of trees over in the process. All too late did I notice Megatron slowly creeping up behind Optimus.

"Optimus, behind you!" I cried out.

His attention broken for a slight second was all the Decepticons needed. The two Decepticons he had been fighting grabbed hold of him and held him down as Megatron stood behind him. The silver devil took his sword, and stabbed Optimus through his chest. At that moment I felt the blade go through me as though I were being stabbed instead. Megatron fired a shot from him sword-gun, and Optimus yelled out.

"No!"

Megatron ripped his blade out of his chassis and let Optimus fall to the ground. The next few minutes felt as if the earth had stopped spinning, and time slowed to a halt. I watched in horror as he fell, his enormous body clashed against the ground sending dirt flying. His eyes soon found Sam and I, and I could see his light fading in and to my feet i felt adrenaline powering my knees as I started to run to him. Sam grabbed hold of my hands and pulled me back, so I screamed, yelled, thrashed and kicked against his hold, but he wouldn't let go. In a feeble attempt to comfort the dying Autobot, I stretched out my arms towards Optimus's dying form.

"Optimus! Please, Stand up! Don't give up yet!" I cried, the tears overflowing.

"Delyia," he gasped, "Run. I – "

I looked into his optics as the light began to fade.

"Optimus! Fucking shit! Sam let me go! I need to go to him!" I sobbed as Sam took me into his arms.

I overheard Bee and the others dashing in, and battling against the Decepticons left. A numbness ate it way through my feet and into my heart as I stood staring down Optimus's lifeless form. No.

Sam picked me up, disrupting my silent mourning, and threw me into the nearest car he could find.

"Jazz!" I heard Sam yell, "Get her out of her!"

Optimus, I love you.
