I'm sorry I couldn't have updated sooner, but before you turn away and shun me, hear me out. I had everything good and ready to go a nice solid month ago. But something bad happened in which I nearly lost my mind to. My IPad had decided to bitch with me and everything went down the drain. A hell of a load of data was lost, including that chapter and several other finished chapters of my others stories which I was going to update the same day I was going to update his. I was pissed off, but I thought I would be able to get right back up and start writing while the ideas were still fresh in my head, but as soon as I picked my IPad up to start over...my mind went blank. Everything just dissapeared, along with my enthusiasm, my want to write, my inspiration...

Just gone.

I promptly freaked out afterwards, complaining to my father about how gay all my electronics are, but he told me that this stuff happens all the time, that at some point in my life I would lose even more important data, like a college paper or something. After that, I still tried time and time again to rewrite the eighth chapter, despite knowing my attempts were fruitless. I went to school one day, my bright and obnoxious attitude replaced by and abnormally somber one. My best friend obviously noticed my strange behavior and I told her everything. Then she did something that turned everything around. She gave me something good to read.

Yeah, yeah, yeah. I know you guys think thats stupid, but hey.

I can never be as happy to be friends with that spaz than I am today (LOL I called her a spaz when I'm five billion times worse). The books she gave me were the best I've ever read in a long time. They were vampire books and at first I was like, "Eeeeeww..." And then ten minutes later, "Holy crap I love this." And no it's not Twilight (disgusting). I finished the three-part series in about a week. And I went zooming to my IPad and typed. Sometimes I would just stare at what I had down, or I would be typing so fast my IPad couldn't process it all. I put a lot of thought into this two thousand some word thingy below this and I hope it's enough to compensate for my abrupt and unwanted delay.

Again, I'm sorry. And I hope this will never happen again. Anywho, R&R!

Eyes shut tight with dread and anticipation, Mira released a shaky breath she hadn't realized she had been holding. Her palms were damp with perspiration, her body felt unnaturally warm, and she gripped her seat as if she were clinging for dear life. She opened her eyes. And right across from her, Suzianna loudly sipped from a steaming cup of coffee as she copied notes from her pocket note book into her composition book, completely deaf to her friend having a mental breakdown less than ten feet away. Mira sat up in her seat and tried to act like the poised young woman she was supposed to be, but her body refused to stop shaking. She sighed and took to looking outside the window, staring fearfully at the right wing of the plane which hovered not too far from the ground, humming with power but unmoving. Mira muttered incoherently under her breath, scolding herself for being so cowardly. They haven't even started to move yet. Mira shifted again in her seat, trying fruitlessly to get comfortable. Suzianna finally decided to look up.

"Look. I know it's your first actual plane trip and all and you're nervous, but that doesn't mean you're going to die as soon as the plane starts rolling. This is ridiculous. You're way over thinking it. I'm trying to get something important done here. It's kind of hard to focus when there's someone constantly moving around and making noise," she said, her tone holding a distinct edge of annoyance. Mira sighed, forcing her body to comply to her demands of sitting still.

"Sorry. I've never been fond of heights. You of all people should know that," Mira murmured. "And knowing that this plane will be rising up thousands of feet off the ground makes me a bit queasier than standing at the edge of a diving board dangling ten feet from a deep pool surface." Suzianna smiled, inwardly laughing at the memory of nine-year-old Mira refusing to jump and threatening to kick anyone who came near as she clung to one of the metal bars holding the board up. Mira leaned over, pretending to fuss with her shoes to mask the dark mutterings slipping from her lips, unheard by the woman across from her. Suzianna's smile wavered, noticing the obvious change in Mira's nature. Suzianna shook her head and reached into her bag.

"Hey." Mira looked up, the strong scent of cocoa teasing her nostrils, blue-green eyes instantly locking onto a dark brown bar of...

Chocolate.

Mira sat up, attention captured by the delectable rectangle, her tummy twisting in excitement. She hadn't had chocolate in what seemed like forever. Suzianna waved it invitingly in front of Mira's face. Staving back a smile, Mira played along, her eyes intently watching her greatest food weakness. This went on for several seconds, Suzianna flapping the rectangle of chocolate around while Mira followed her actions with her eyes. Suzianna smiled triumphantly at the fun glittering in Mira's eyes, before Mira's hand darted out and easily slipped the chocolate out of her hand, quickly leaning back with a smug expression on her face as Suzianna blinked at her empty hand. Both of them had completely disregarded the notifying ding of the seatbelt light.

Mira raised her hand to finally bite the dark bar of deliciousness when the plane started moving. She gasped, dropping the chocolate into her lap as she fumbled to find her seatbelt. Suzianna shook her blonde head again, smiling as she calmly buckled herself in. Mira finally managed to clip her seatbelt into place and took to staring out the window at the wings, listening with dread and wonder as the soft whirring grew louder. She watched as the landscape began to roll by as the plane moved onto the runway. For moment she found herself a bit lost. She was going to fly. Soon, question after question buzzed around in her head. What would it be like? What would she see? How would she feel?

She blinked as the plane picked up speed. The landscape began to zoom by and soon, she didn't know what she was looking at. She saw flaps on the wings open and felt the plane tip upward, picking up the wind that rushed beneath its wings. Her eyes widened as they left the ground. Mira put a hand to her head, feeling slightly dizzy and nauseous. A strange tug pulled her into the seat and she felt as if it were harder to breathe.

"Bleh." Well, one question answered. Suzianna laughed.

"Yeah. That's how I felt too during my first plane ride, but once we stop ascending that feeling most likely have completely vanished," she said assuringly. Mira nodded, once again trying to settle back against her seat. It was still uncomfortable, but now that she wasn't overreacting about stupid things she could actually calm down and take in what was happening. She was going to Japan! Mira took a breathe and reached down to pick up her abandoned chocolate bar, taking a large chunk off with her lips and guiding it into her mouth with her tongue. She remembered Suzianna giving a report on the Japanese culture in school, but honestly didn't remember most of it. Mira let her thoughts wander, her eyelids becoming a little heavy. She yawned, finally finding a comfy position in which she could relax into her seat. She finish the bar of chocolate and began to stare blankly at a random cup holder on the seat next to Suzianna. She saw a bottle of beer there and raised a questioning brow at Suzianna, who shrugged in return.

"What? It's not like I'm drinking the entire thing," she said, putting her things away into her carry-on bag. She grabbed a plastic glass from another cup holder on the opposite side and calmly filled it with some of the beer. It foamed slightly, but eventually fell to sit calmly on the surface of the alcoholic drink. The yellow liquid swished enticingly in the cup of clear plastic. Mira watched, seeing the glow of amber eyes through the transparent material. Thought spurred on by this, her mind began to drift in the general direction of the mysterious being without life as her eyes drooped shut.

Suzianna smiled and shook her head as the breathe of her younger friend slowed as she fell into the comforting clutches of sleep. She swallowed the last bit of beer, wiping away the tiny droplets that threatened to spill over the corners of her mouth with the back of her hand, relishing the final flush of heat that pleasantly scorched her throat as it went down and settled in her chest. She leaned back and yawned. Maybe it was time to rest.

Joyous sounds filled the air as Soro ran along with his new friends, following Freddy through the maze-like halls of his favorite restaurant. A blonde girl with pigtails and a fluffy dress along with three boys, two of which looked nearly exactly alike except for different colors, the other being a bit too loving of blue-ish purple and wearing bunny ears that were just like Bonnie's. The red haired youth laughed again, picking up speed, passing the two look-alikes, Auream and Oso. All of them had cake smeared around their small mouths, each of them eager for more which was being waved invitingly in front of them in the hands of Freddy Fazbear. Freddy seemed to be smiling and laughing much more than usual, but the oblivious youngsters took that as a good sign. They hadn't even noticed how the bear's eyes seemed to glitter with hunger, eyes that seemed to bore holes into them, raking over their small developing bodies and lingering on every exposed piece of their young, light flesh.

The red-head laughed again when Galinha tried to run past him, trying to reach Freddy first, but he was quick and easily outran her. Galinha, instead of getting mad, smiled even brighter and shoved him lightly, just enough to throw him momentarily off balance. He slowed to prevent himself from falling and the others overtook him. He quickly regained the lead and managed to snag a handful of cake. Laughing, Soro began to eat it as Freddy laughed approvingly.

"Great job!" He said with his jolly and silly voice, "There's more cake this way!" And the bear began to slow down, a large set of steel double doors towering over the five young children, but they weren't affected by the dark atmosphere it seemed to emanate. Their eyes grew to the size of saucers when they saw a huge cake sitting peacefully in the back of the dimly lit room. Auream suddenly looked confused and skeptical, so Soro playfully nudged him which seemed to take him out his abrupt change of behavior.

"I get the biggest piece!" Galinha shouted, racing towards the cake. Freddy began to laugh. Soro assumed it was because the bear thought that they were being funny. Not caring the slightest, Soro tugged on Auream's arm, urging him forward to the others who had already taken off to the cake. Auream smiled and eagerly started toward the cake.

"Okay c'mon! Before Gallie gets it all!" He shouted exitedly. It was then he noticed Freddy reaching up to his face. The bear's large fingers poked into his eye sockets and his thumb curled beneath his top jaw, allowing him to remove the mask that hid the true being beneath. Soro silently gasped, his hand dropping to his sides in shock. An adult man grinned at the red-headed child evilly, his smile so chilling it made the fine hairs on his neck stand erect, goosebumps prickling uncomfortably up his arms. He knew that smile. He saw it on his father's face every time he came home with The Bottle in his hand. He suddenly saw him there, arm raised and ready to strike his innocent mother, the cruelty that glittered in his father's eyes matched the mysterious man posing as Freddy Fazbear, but this man's features hinted at something much darker than a merciless beating.

"There's no where to run, baby fox," came his dark, husky whisper. He commenced to removing the rest of the Freddy suit, a soft poff sounding every time a part of he suit fell off, revealing purple attire beneath. Soro began to quiver, his stomach twisting with dread. He couldn't move, his eyes wide glued to the man before him. The man's entire body seemed to have been painted in the color purple, putting even that kid named Lapin to shame. Hard, icy, sunken eyes with terrifyingly small pupils made Soro want to hide away and never return. A bright, gold badge glinted in the sparse lighting. The purple man looked dirty and worn, jagged dark locks falling around his face, framing it with an horrifying and mysterious air. Despite this, the man looked abnormally happy, an unwavering smile fixed upon his thin lips, yellowing and rotting teeth shown openly with no embarrassment as to how disgusting it was. He wore a tattered and slightly ripped uniform with a few patches of a faded blue scattered in random places on the shirt and pants.

Soro tried to step back and away, but his legs felt like heavy stones and he felt as if he were frozen in place. His amber eyes hurt from being so wide open, but he couldn't get them to shut. The yougn boy could barely breathe, he was so scared. He watched and the man reached behind his back and pulled out a large, sharp, and shiny knife. The Purple Man's cold eyes softened the slightest bit as he raised his weapon to kill. Soro looked down, knowing very well what will happen next. Upon doing so, he saw the scars that marred his small body through the flimsy clothes he wore to hide them. Maybe it was for the better it end like this. He would just come home for another world of pain anyway. And like a broken fox at the mercy of an alpha wolf, he accepted his fate, be as painful as it may.

"Hey! It's fake!" By then the other four had reached the cake, only to find it was a flimsy cardboard cut-out. Lapin's shoulders drooped, Galinha angrily kicked the cut-out, Oso was pouting, but Auream dared to look back, eyes widening when he saw Soro trembling before a man clad in purple, a knife raised in his large hand. Auream cried out, watching the man's arm come down and slice right through the red-haired boy's neck. The boy fell to his knees, his head rolling off his shoulders, making a soft thump as it hit the ground. On his face was a frozen look of acceptance and sorrow. Fresh crimson blood soon began to spread on the ground, surrounding the child's decapitated body and lone head in a pool of lost life.

"Soro!" Auream cried, tears pouring down his cheeks in streams, his face heating up with sadness and grief, a sharp pain prickling his nose. The next few moments were a blur.

Soro. Dead.

Lapin. Gone.

Oso. Deceased.

Galinha...sweet Galinha. Lost...

Until it was just him, poor little Auream, his fate to be decided by a blood-thirsty monster. Auream looked up at he who used to be family, staring into unfamiliar eyes that used to hold warmth. "Daddy...please...no..." He just smiled. The knife shined with the life of his friends. Sobs racketed his body as he tried to back away from the murderer towering above him. His father's tiny black eyes now held a shimmer of tears, like it hurt him too. His grin stretched farther, and Auream forgot how to move, his limbs shaking in absolute terror.

"Goodbye...my son."

Oh god, it hurts...

Make it stop!

I did nothing wrong!

WHY DO YOU HATE ME SO MUCH!?

...

Goodbye, Daddy...

...

At least...

...

We'll be together...

...

Won't we...?

...

Galinha?

Soro?

Oso?

Lapin?

...

Yes.

...

Together...forever...

...

And forever...is such a long time.
