To say that the news of Reinhardt's glorious battle against the White Fangs went rather viral would be an understatement.

About an hour after the entire ordeal was over, every major news publication had reported on it, and practically every kingdom now knew of Reinhardt's reinstatement into the life of a Huntsman.

In the dormitory of Team JNPR, Nora was lazily thumbing through his Scroll, looking through the random stuff on the net while Pyrrha and Jaune were off training and Ren meditated on the floor not too far from her.

'Global Remnant Popstar, Lucio, travels to Mistral!' and 'Atlas prototype for the B-73 Bastion units stuns millions!' were among the few headlines which Nora scrolled past as she yawned. However, the single headline which made her sit up and widen her eyes was: 'Retired Huntsman, Reinhardt Wilhelm, steps out of retirement to dish justice out to the White Fang.'

"REN!" exclaimed Nora as she pulled her friend up to read the headline, one which had Reinhardt posing with a flex. Both of the Lieutenant's nephew and niece read the headline, and by the time they were done, Nora squealed and began jumped up and down. "UNCLE WILHELM IS SERIOUSLY COOL!"

Ren nodded at that as he tossed Nora's scroll towards Jaune and Pyrrha, who were getting rather curious as to what they were reading. Jaune was the one who managed to catch the thing, though just barely as he did appear to almost drop the thing. While Ren calmed Nora down, Pyrrha and Jaune scanned the article.

"A single Retired Huntsman and a trio of local Vale Officers storms a White Fang hideout and liberates the entire compound," read Jaune.

"Reports state that he gave a majority of the credit to the officers that assisted him most of the credit," added Pyrrha as she smiled. "Is Lieutenant Reinhardt like that, Nora?"

"Well DUH!" exclaimed Nora with glee as she smirked. "Reinhardt may seem like an old fart-"

"Nora," scolded Ren as he crossed his arms, prompting the Valkyrie to chuckle and scratch the back of her head.

"Pardon me…" apologised Nora sheepishly as she smiled. "What I mean is that while Uncle Reinhardt could seem like an out of touch Huntsman from an older time, some old cranky dude, he's actually pretty juviel. He's willing to let others have the glory if he deems them worthy, and honestly his stories are great."

"I can take your word for that, Nora," replied Pyrrha with a smile. And, before the conversation could escalate any further, the four of them heard a landing Airship, prompting them to stare out their window and smile.

"HE'S BACK!" exclaimed Nora, sprinting out of the room, with Ren, Pyrrha and Jaune following behind.

Upon stepping foot onto Beacon's landing platform, Reinhardt was greeted by his beloved niece, Nora, who slammed straight into his armour. Reinhardt was hardly phased by the action, even if he did step back and laugh while Ren, Jaune and Pyrrha approached him.

"OHMYGOSHUNCLEWILHELMISAWTHENEWSITSOUNDEDAWESOMEPLEASETELLMETHESTORY!" exclaimed Nora, going so fast that neither the rest of Team JNPR nor you, the reader, could properly understand what she wanted. Reinhardt, on the other hand, knew what she asked for and patted her head.

"In due time, Nora!" proclaimed Reinhardt as his niece sat on his shoulderpad. While she was there, Nora liften Reinhardt's helmet off his head and sat it on her lap. The Crusader did not seem to mind, simply walking towards the rest of team JNPR with Nora on his shoulder, though he did stop to turn to Ozpin, who had arrived to greet him. "I will… aphem… file a report later, Headmaster."

"Take your time, Reinhardt," urged Ozpin with a gentle smile, one which Reinhardt returned as he left with JNPR, with Nora wearing Reinhardt's helm and trying to imitate her uncle, her voice deeply amusing her teammates and the Crusader himself. While he left, Glynda had moved to stand beside the Headmaster, grimacing a little.

"Reinhardt's little stunt costed Vale's port several hundred Lien in damage," informed Glynda, propping up her glasses. "I hope that you weren't intending on bringing him in just to rack up the bills, Headmaster."

"Of course not!" retorted Ozpin, smirking as he ushered Glynda towards his office. "Despite his juviel self, Reinhardt is a capable Huntsman. He just needs to keep the collateral damage a down a little…"

"Uh huh…" muttered an unconvinced Glynda. "I hope you know what you're doing, Ozpin."

"Don't I always?"

Glynda thought it best to not reply to that.

The next day

"Ah, good morning to each and every one of you, and welcome to your first hands on combat lesson!"

Those were the words that Reinhardt had bellowed out to greet the First Year Students of Beacon as they entered the Amphitheatre. He had been expecting them, after all.

Being a Professor of Beacon, Reinhardt was expected to teach these children a thing or two about being Huntsman. He had the honor of being a Combat Professor, and he had made an oath to Ozpin that stated that he would turn them into prime Huntsman material by the time they left his academy.

The reactions he got from every student who entered were usually awed expressions. Namely, Ruby Rose and Yang Xiao Long had given him those expressions. Team JNPR and CRDL seemed neutral, though the former did seem happy to see him, especially a pair of familiar faces. Reinhardt allowed most of the enthusiasm to die down before he spoke up.

"Now, before we start, I wish to know, WHY ARE YOU HERE?!" bellowed the Crusader from below his helm, slamming the pommel of his hammer into the ground to emphasis his question. The entire Amphitheatre shook when he did.

"To become Huntsmen and Huntresses, sir!" exclaimed Nora from the front, and Reinhardt chuckled heartily.

"Exactly, young Nora!" exclaimed Reinhardt with a nod. "Now, on this day, I, Reinhardt Wilhelm of the Eichenwalde Crusaders, or more commonly known as the Lieutenant of Overwatch, vow that by the time you all leave Beacon, you shall leave with your heads held high and with the title of Huntsman and Huntress bestowed upon your names!"

Upon completing his vow, Reinhardt lifted his hammer up into the air and slammed his fist against his chestplate. Nora echoed his movements while Ruby gave an excited whoop. Ren simply shook his head, flashing a small smile as he did, while Pyrrha chuckled a little at the old Crusader's enthusiasm.

"But before we begin, perhaps I am to ask… who among you thinks themselves to be unworthy?" asked Reinhardt, his tone suddenly dropping into a serious one. Everyone froze when he asked that question, even Nora and Ren, an no one was willing to respond…

At least until a certain Winchester thought that it could be funny to activate Jaune's Shield-Scabbard as it rested on his hip. The sudden activation caused Jaune to shriek and raise both arms into the air, catching the attention of Reinhardt.

"You!" exclaimed Reinhardt, pointing into the crowd, directly at Jaune. The blonde yelped at that, though he wasted no time in coming up to face Reinhardt, having to crane his neck waaaaay up to look him in his visored face.

"Y-Y-Yes sir…?" muttered Jaune as soon as he was in front of Reinhardt. He knew that the Crusader wouldn't hurt him, Ren and Nora wouldn't forgive him if he did, though his massive frame and currently intimidating voice was enough to make the Arc panic.

"Hrg… Jaune Arc, leader of Team JNPR, are you not?" clarified Reinhardt, his tone softening as soon as he remembered who he was talking to. Jaune Arc… he hasn't done much research on that name, though according to his beloved Nephew and Niece, he was a nice young man, full of potential… and definitely not an unworthy enough to be trained by him, at least not in Reinhardt's eyes. Still, it didn't stop him from testing the young man. "Why do you think yourself unworthy, young one?"

"I… just…" began Jaune, humbling over his own words as he attempted to collapse his shield back down to sheath mode, an action that Reinhardt took notice of.

"Tell me, young one, why is your shield out?" he asked, and Jaune visibly sweatdropped at that question. And behind him, a certain Team of would be Huntsmen did the same.

"Oh… this… erm… well…" began Jaune, not knowing how to reply. Reinhardt found his stuttering to be a sign of reluctance in telling the truth, prompting him to slamm the pommel of his hammer down into the ground once more.

"Speak no lies, Jaune Arc!" commanded Reinhardt, frowning under his helm. "There is no shame in speaking the truth and bringing the one who has wronged you to justice!"

"I… well… you see… it was… Cardin…" was all Jaune could manage as he collapsed his shield, and Reinhardt nodded at that.

"I see…" muttered Reinhardt, turning up to scan the group before him. He did not recognise this Cardin child… so he decided to call him out. "Cardin, step forward!"

And within a few seconds, a lightly armoured young man did exactly as he was told. Reinhardt vaguely remembered the boy as the one who nearly fainted on his first visit to Team JNPR's dorm. Unlike then, however, the boy was clad in armour that resembled a less-impressive version of a Crusader's armour… much less impressive. He had a grimace plastered on his face and a mace in his grip, and his grimace noticeably deepened when he turned to Jaune.

"Jaune Arc, you may return," instructed Reinhardt, pointing towards the group of would-be Huntsmen and Huntresses, and the young Knight did as he was told, leaving only Cardin Winchester to stand before Reinhardt, staring at him with a less than impressed gaze.

And after a few seconds of staring…

"Explain yourself, Cardin," ordered Reinhardt, pointing the head of his hammer at Cardin, causing the boy to flinch, though just barely as he shrugged.

"Just testing his mental state," was Cardin's excuse to Reinhardt. "Don't see an issue with that. After all, it is his fault for raising both his arms."

Cardin had spared Jaune a quick glance as he finished that sentence, causing the boy to look down at his feet while Pyrrha tried to soothe him. Ren and Nora looked ready to tear Cardin a new one, though Reinhardt motioned for them to stay.

"Perhaps, but in my eyes, you were bullying the blonde," responded Reinhardt, slamming the pommel of his hammer down onto the ground once again. His tone was hard, and Cardin's confidence faltered when he heard it, though to his credit, the 'Crusader' held his ground, even as Reinhardt raised his voice. "KNOW THIS, I will NOT tolerate any form of bullying in my class. If you are to do so and I am to find out, then you will experience the same fate as young Cardin here."

"Eh… wha?" muttered Cardin as Reinhardt finished. The rest of the would be Huntsmen and Huntresses were as confused as he was, though Nora and Ren both snickered and rolled his eyes, respectively.

"Nora… Ren… you know what he means?" asked Ruby. Nora was ready to reply… until Reinhardt did it for her.

"We shall settle the matter… through combat."

*plays the trombone*

I'm exhausted, my body is aching and my head hurts. But still, the story is important, so I forced myself to do this. Having this be not-updated for six years was my main drive.

In all seriousness, I wrote this up when I was exhausted as all Hell. I'm kinda in Singapore's version of college right now… I knew that being an engineer was gonna be exhausting. As an author, I sincerely apologise for the sudden halt in updates and for the drop in quality for this chapter. As an engineer… I want you to grab my pipe wrench for me.

In less serious news, there's a Reinhardt toy out. Finally, I can have my own Reinhardt defending my computer when I'm out. And in regards to the Overwatch game, I'm kinda sick of it at the moment. All I really know is that Demoman got drunk and wandered into the game.

Oh, and can we address the fact that Reinhardt does not have a Summer Games Victory Pose? Everyone else has a Victory Pose involving medals… except Reinhardt. The fuck is this.

Anyways onto the reviews before I go on a rant.

Spiral-Voltron-Zero0Q1: why thank you

Jose: I'm a bit late on this, but here ya go

Honor is all: I miss the days when I could actually update once a month… good times. Anyhow, it's an honor to be one of your favorites. And in regards to the ideas, I do technically have a RWBY X IBO story up right now. It's not like what you're talking about, but it could entertain (self promotion ftw). And as for the ARK idea… I'll look into it.

Alright I'm going off to sit down. Have a nice day, you guys!
