A/N I couldn't stay away from this story.
Sergio stared at me blankly; I wanted to hit myself for asking such a dumb question. "I'm sorry," I apologized hurriedly.
"Ah do not worry. I see you have learned of Pardona's...condition, no?"
"Yes, I just didn't think that things like that exsisted, you know?" I searched his eyes for some type of understanding. He warmly smiled at me and patted my hand with his equally hot one. "We exsist do we not? You, the first female natrually born into this life is a miracle in itself," he took my hand and started to walk me around the foreign palace.
I looked around as we walked, taking in the view. The scene itself was beautiful, but without the sight fo its grand landscape, the cold air was bitter, and a man's tortured cries whistling in the wind like it was a natrual part of nature in this landscape.
I shivered as I thought of what Lady Reyes was doing inside that Torture Room. As graceful and giving she was, or as she appeared to be, something inside of me told me never to cross her; maybe it was that flash of something dark in her iced eyes. I'm sure whoever that was foolish enough to betray her was regretting it now.
The vision of my hostess' unfiltered cruelty was ironically interrupted by warmth. I looked around to see Sergio had given me his jacket and was silently leading me into the palace again. "I would not want to get you sick Miss Clearwater."
I snorted at his kindness. "I'm a wolf, I don't get sick." I remarked. He gave me an amused look and continued to take me into the palace.
"You'd be surpised, Principessa, what a foreign world can do to your ablities-" he cut himself off and looked straight ahead. Turning my head, at first I saw nothing too fasinacting, just a creepy, dimly lit hallway with expensive paintings that beckoned my curosity.
Listening closely, I heard the cries, they seemed quieter and less wild now, he seemed he was trying to form words through his broken voicebox.
"I will take you to them," the voice bargained. "I'll take you...I meant no harm...please...please..." Then another ear splitting screech. Through it all, I heard the distinctive sound of bones crunching and skin tearing. The tortured one in question had to be no doubt, a bloodsucker.
"I think I'll take this as a souvienger, to remind me of our little talk," Lady Reyes' voice said lowly in a sick, polite, and pleasant way. "K, wrap this up for our trip, please."
"Come, boy, you might deem yourself as useful." K's voice rang out. Sergio and I were frozen as the two women sauntered out with a limping bloodsucker silently following them out of a heavy, steel door.
"Ah, Leah,Sergio! Just the two lovlies I wanted to see," She beamed at us. "Come, come, walk with me; talk with me." Through my stunned daze I obeyed, and everyone followed suit.
A pale, lanky man bowed at the door. "Get the Royces' please. A road trip, darling," She ordered. He nodded and handed her a bright red lace parasel and a netted clouche hat. The man walked us out the door in silence, he signaled to the what appeared to be empty driveway. Two Rolls Royce Silver Clouds started to appear, one black and one silver. They looked vintage from the body it looked about a 1956, if my Alpha were here he would've jizzed his pants.
She turned to me and smiled warmly, unexpectantly embraced me. My arms awkwardly hugged her back, she was really warm. I looked over her shoulder and looked at the bloodsucker for the first time. The little 'trinket' she took from him was his blood shot red eye and arm. He was grotesque and looked sad as he was strongarmed into the sliver could something so warm be so cruel?
"I'm sending you,Sergio,and K on a little trip."

Everything was back into its respected place when I had her in my arms. Finally the only thing that could calm eme down was here. I looked down at her and inhaled her scent.
"Well now, if only I could get that good of a gretting when I come to the Cullen residence," A little woman spoke from behind her, I looked up from Leah.
"Lena?" Carslie gasped.
"Its K now and I'm afraid I've come with bad news." I sucked in a breath and held on to my Beta a little tighter I would need her strength to get me through any more bad news.
