Greetings and welcome to the season finale of Doofenshmirtz Holiday Pet Peeves! Yeah, this is a SEASON Finale and that would suggest that there will be a Season 2, right? Well... You would be right! I know I've only scraped the surface on the number of holidays I could do and, seeing as you all love this, you can help if you want. If you wanted to see a holiday that I didn't do, leave a mention of it with your review or PM me. I will be doing my own selection of holidays for the next season but any ideas submitted will also be included. And these holidays don't have to fall on their actual days. You won't need to wait until Independence day if you want to see an Independence Day DHPP. But... enough about Season 2, let's finish Season 1!
"Good morning Danville, this is Stanky Dog, coming to you on the hottest day of the summer. Unless you live at the beach or near some sort of water park, I say take it easy and do nothing today. Yup, just find yourself a shady tree and maybe an aquatic mammal of some sort, and just blow the whole day off" announced local DJ, Stank Dog over the radio. In their backyard, Phineas, Ferb and Perry were lying under the tree in the backyard, trying to escape the heat.
"So Ferb, any ideas?" asked Phineas. Ferb leaned over and handed Phineas a rolled up blueprint which Phineas quickly unraveled. "Oh, nice thinking Ferb." As Phineas rolled up the blueprint, the hinges of the gate squeaked as it opened.
"Ugh, why must it be so hot? My brain cannot survive in this heat!" complained Baljeet as he entered the backyard.
"Well… here, let me get that for ya" said Buford, entering the yard next before quickly undoing the straps on Baljeet's overalls, causing them to fall down at his ankles.
"That did not help!" he called as Buford ignored him and approached Phineas and Ferb. "Oh… actually… that is much better, thank you" said Baljeet though no-one heard him to respond.
"So fella's, what we doin' today?" asked Buford.
"We're gonna build the most epic water park this side of the galaxy!" Phineas announced.
"Water Park, you mean we have never thought to build one after all these years?" asked Baljeet, holding the straps of his overalls in his hands so he could walk.
"I suppose not, I mean, we built ways to keep out of the heat but this water park is going to be unlike anything we ever built. I'm talking five dimensional water slides, bottomless pools and remember that super sprinkler. Yeah, that was too fun not to use again"
"But, is this not extremely dangerous?"
"What do you mean?"
"Well, what if we get lost in another dimension, or find ourselves stuck in the bottomless pools or…" Baljeet was interrupted by Buford shoving him by the shoulder.
"Would ya quit with the holes?" Buford asked in annoyance.
"Oh, no holes Buford" responded Phineas. "We can just rebuild the Photo-Transporter. Anything happens; we can transport anyone back to safety. Trust me Baljeet, nothing can go wrong with this water park" he said with a huge smile. Just the anticipation of building this next big idea made him excited. Just as he was to get up to start on the water park, the absence of someone seemed to bug him. "Hey, where's Perry?"
Perry had taken off a while ago and was already in his lair, waiting for Major Monogram to respond, which he soon did.
"Ah Agent P, good to see you. Do you want the good news or the bad news?" Perry thought to himself before answering. "Um… I'm not sure what you said, so I'm going to assume you meant good news." Perry rolled his eyes in both annoyance and embarrassment. "Okay so, good news; we finally have some info on Doofenshmirtz. Now I know that his latest schemes have been somewhat… lackluster but here's the good news. We know it has something to do with… Gravity." An image of an apple falling onto Isaac Newton. "And… now onto the bad news. That… is the only information we have. In any case, find out what Doof is doing and stop him. Good luck Agent P." The Major saluted and so did Perry before he used his jetpack to fly out of the roof.
In her room, Candace was busy talking to Stacy on her phone. She was sprawled out on her bed, occasionally rolling on her side to look at a vase full of roses.
"Stace, it was sooo romantic…" she said, her voice trailing off.
"And… you're gonna tell me all about it, aren't you" Stacy replied sarcastically, sitting at her computer.
"Of course I am" she replied bluntly to be met with a long drawn out groan from her friend. "Yes?"
"I always have to hear about what you're up to. Why don't you ever ask me what I've done?" she asked in frustration. It was true. Candace only ever bragged about her life and Stacy never got to tell her what she had been doing.
"Okay then, what did you do yesterday?"
"Um…" It was at this moment that Stacy had spent yesterday stuck in the house, watching films. "So… aren't you gonna tell me what happened with Jeremy" she said in a pleasant tone, embarrassed that she had humiliated herself. Although, she knew Candace wouldn't make a big deal out of it. Hearing this, Candace smiled
"Well, firstly, I thought we were just going to the mall but, I get there… and Jeremy meets me with a bouquet of roses… in front of everyone! Can you believe it!?" she asked with excitement and amazement.
"Boy, you sure are lucky" Stacy replied sarcastically again.
"I know, right? So anyway, we head to the café and…" Candace stopped as she heard a number of loud noises originating from the backyard. "… Stace, I'm gonna have to call you back" she said before ending the call.
"Oh, I'm sure you will…" replied Stacy as she dropped her phone on her desk before throwing her head back in relief. As Candace, leaped off her bed and ran to the window, she saw a number of huge metal pieces being deposited in the yard.
"Phineas! What is this!?" she yelled after opening her window.
"Water Park" he replied bluntly before continuing with construction.
"What!?" she asked in shock, almost falling from the window.
"Water Park!" replied everyone else, including the work men depositing the materials.
"Wa… uh… Why!?" she asked, struggling to hold her frustration.
"Because it's hot! You'd realise that if you stepped out here!" yelled Buford.
"Yeah, because this house has a little thing called Air Conditioning!" she yelled back.
"But that's boring" Phineas pointed out.
"You calling me boring?" replied his sister.
"Um… n…" Before he could speak, she had already made up her mind.
"That's it! I'm getting Mom!" she yelled, slamming her window shut.
Doofenshmirtz begins his most evil plot!
"The time is almost at hand" announced Doof, looking up at the sun from his balcony. "… Why do people say that? I mean, if anything, the time is on your wrist, plus, if you were to really look at that sentence without any context, it doesn't make any sense. Kinda how I used it… I mean it's like… bad dubbing in a Japanese anime… Ugh, I hate cartoons…" As he continued his monologue, Perry burst through his front door on his jetpack. He quickly slipped out of the jetpack and landed on the floor, ready to fight while his jetpack flew out the building through the balcony and past Doof. "Ah, Perry the Platypus, right on cue!" said Doof as he pulled a lever which opened a trap door on his roof, releasing tons of ice cream that dropped onto Perry. It piled on top of him in a heap of giant scoops with many flavours. As Doof grinned evilly at the huge pile of ice cream, it soon became apparent that there was no activity under the ice cream. "Perry the Platypus?" he asked before taking out an ice cream scoop and began to dig through the ice cream. He soon found Perry, who was staring at him with contempt. "There's my guy" Doof remarked, pleased that his nemesis was alive to witness his triumph.
"And now that your here, back story time! You remember when we fought on Easter? Yeah, well after that whole mess I decided to put an end to all holidays, forever! And do you know how I'm going to accomplish this?" Perry responded by shrugging g his shoulders. Though he would probably find out no matter what he did, he was intrigued that Doof seemed really confident about this scheme. "With this: The Gravit-inator!" he yelled, pulling away a sheet to show a spherical device, active as shown by the lights on its casing, resting atop a metal holder. "I've been waiting for the hottest day of summer to launch this thing. This device, when launched into orbit will make its way between Earth and the sun. Once it does, it will generate a localised gravity field around the Earth so that, instead of the Earth revolving around the sun, it will revolve around the Gravit-inator instead therefore imitating an eternal summer! Every other holiday will then be extinguished, no more Halloween, no more Easter, and no more Christmas. Today is the day I win, Perry the Platypus, and there's nothing you can do to stop me! Well, not unless you destroy the Gravit-inator before it launches…" Doof glanced back to Perry who was standing to the side of a huge coloured puddle on the floor. "Oh… that's right… the heat…" Perry smirked and leaped towards Doof.
Linda was busy at the supermarket, stocking up on food though she couldn't find any ice cream for the kids to beat the heat. Apparently all the ice cream in the entire Tri-State Area had mysteriously disappeared. She was busy talking to Mrs Johnson, who she had bumped into not ten minutes ago before she was jerked away.
"Hello Candace" called Mrs Johnson as Candace dragged her mother away.
"Oh, hello Mrs Johnson" she replied sweetly while dragging her mother away in frustration. Once she reached the end of the isle, she let go and flew into a fit of 'busting'.
"MOM! MOM! Phineas and Ferb called me boring! Oh, and are making a water park in the back yard!" Candace rushed out, running on the spot, unable to calm down.
"Aww that's sweet, aren't you going honey?" she asked.
"What!? No, Mom you're not listening, they're building one in the backyard!"
"Well, I'm glad they're finding a way to beat the heat. And… what have you been doing today, Candace?"
"Oh nothing, just sitting inside, telling Stacy ab…" she replied lovingly before she stopped. "Wait, what am I doing? MOM! You gotta come to the backyard, right now!" she yelled, snapping back into 'Busting mode'.
"Ah, spending your day doing nothing. That's nice…" she said trailing off, somewhat critical that the boys were at least doing something with their summer. "Candace I have to pay for these first, plus I haven't finished, plus I still need to talk to Jeremy's mother. You know it's not nice to interrupt a conversation." Candace was still jittering, looking between her mother and the shop's exits.
"Ugh… How long will you be" she said, shaking in both anticipation and nervousness.
"Oh, just a few minutes dear. I'm pretty sure we'll see this water park the boys made before it ceases to exist and I start to question your sanity" Linda said sweetly walking off.
"Wait, what!?" yelled Candace in shock.
"I said I'll be a few minutes dear" Linda replied before continuing on back to Mrs Johnson while Candace followed behind her, shaking and frowning while Phineas and Ferb were working on another idea.
"Wow, we work fast" remarked Buford in his swimming shorts, marvelling at the multitude of slides, rides and other features on their water park that stretched beyond the limits of the backyard.
"I know, right?" remarked Phineas, also in his swimwear, marvelling at the work they managed to do in a few hours. "Okay then…" he walked over to the backyard gate were an improbably long queue of kids stood, all ready to use the water park. "… Everyone, the water park is open for heat beating action!" Phineas called out before the queue of kid's responded in kind.
As everyone made their way in one at a time, Phineas stood back and took a moment to admire his work before he used it. Before he could walk off however, a tap on the shoulder stopped him.
"Hey Phineas, what'cha doin'?" asked Isabella, smiling sweetly behind him.
"Oh, hey Isabella. We just built a huge water park it…"
"Ooh cool!" she exclaimed before dropping the straps on her pinafore before dropping it to the floor and onto her ankles.
"Uh… responded Phineas before turning away.
"What?" she asked, pulling her white shirt over her head.
"Nothi…" Phineas turned and saw she was wearing a two piece bathing suit while her clothes lay on the grass next to her. "Why were you wearing your bathing suit under your clothes?"
"Um… lucky guess?" she said, blushing slightly.
"Oh… okay then" he simply replied before turning to walk away. Isabella's face soon turned from blushing to frustration.
"Ugh… Of course I knew what'cha doin'. I could see this thing from my house" she explained, trying to hide her frustration but allowing some to get through to emphasise her point. Phineas took a while to respond as he couldn't take his eyes off her for some reason. He soon worked it out though.
"What happened to your old bathing suit?" he asked, having gotten used to her in her old one piece bathing suit. Isabella smiled.
"Phineas, I am a woman, I can wear what I want" she said, overly confident and strutting away.
"Isabella, you're twelve" Phineas said, smiling back. Isabella shot him a cheeky smile before she ran off to join the others on the water park.
"Oww, this is not how this is meant to be eaten!" blurted out Doof as Perry was rubbing his face in the melted heap of ice cream. Perry managed to rub his face in to a few second more before Doof managed to swat him off of his back. "Get off me, you" Doof said after smacking Perry away. Perry landed on his feet as Doof got on his and began to wipe the melted ice cream off his face. Perry took the opportunity and leaped at him, knocking him onto the balcony with his tail. "Ugh…" Doof groaned as he wiped the ice cream from his eyes. Doof soon gasped as he saw the sun hanging high in the sky. "The time is now!" he yelled, springing back onto his feet. As he did, he saw Perry, standing and ready to fight on the other end of the room. "Out of the way, Perry the Platypus. I need to get the Gravit-inator into orbit now. The sun is at its closest point to earth and with the Gravit-inator, it'll stay that way!" Perry looked behind him and saw the Gravit-inator sat behind him. Perry smirked and ran towards it. "No!" yelled Doof as he ran after Perry, eventually catching up to him and managing to knock him back across the room.
As Perry slammed into the wall, he was unknowingly knocked into the button to begin the Gravit-inator's launch sequence. The Gravit-inator was dropped onto a long metal railing which led all around the room and the Gravit-inator rolled along it like a rollercoaster. As Perry looked up and saw this elaborate delivery system, he gave a look to Doof as if to say 'Really?'
"What? That's why my previous schemes were so… lacklustre. I was working on this! I'm really surprised you didn't see this. I mean once, I still had the contractors here when you showed up so… this really shouldn't come as a shock to you." As the Gravit-inator slowly made its way to the end of the room where a rocket was sitting in a tube with a circular hole located it its chest, Perry thought he would have time to kick Doof's butt before stopping his scheme.
"…And so I said to him, "Get her some roses" and, of course, you know how boys are, so I had to go and pay for them before she showed up a…" Mrs Johnson and Linda had been talking for half an hour and Candace was slumped on the floor of the supermarket, slowly reading the ingredients and warnings on any of the products she could get her hands on while she was sat down. Eventually, her boredom turned to frustration again.
"MOM! When are we going!?" she asked.
"I'll just be a few minutes, Candace" replied her mother before turning back to Mrs Johnson. She had given this reply four times already and Candace was beginning to blow her top like a volcano.
"AHH! Mom, I'll do the shopping while you talk to Mrs Johnson, okay!?" she said in a hurry while exploding on her feet.
"Oh, good idea Candace, here's the list." Candace snatched the list, grabbed her shopping cart and shot around the supermarket, as fast as a bullet and, in a flash, she was at the counter.
After the cashier had scanned all of the items, she turned to Candace who was jumping excitedly on the thought of getting out here with her mother to bust her brothers.
"That'll be $57.97 please" said the cashier. Candace reached down but then stood in realisation.
"Crud!" she yelled before running off to find her mom as she hadn't given her any money. She ran over to the isle they were in when she last saw them but, when she got there, they had disappeared. Candace groaned before running back and checking every isle until she found them, four isles up. "MOM!" she yelled running over to them. "I need money!"
"What for?"
"The… the stuff… Your stuff!" she stuttered.
"Oh, sorry about that dear. How much is it?" she said, opening her purse. ." Candace went to speak but then stood in realisation. Again.
"Crud!" she yelled before running back to the counter.
Perry jumped up and smacked his tail against the metal railings bending them up. As Perry landed back down on the floor, the Gravit-inator rolled up the dent and off of the railing, landing with a huge clank when it hit the floor.
"Ah, Perry the Platypus, be careful with that! The Gravit-inator is extremely sensitive. There's no telling what will happen if it gets damaged too much!" Perry smirked and picked up the Gravit-inator. "Wait… what are you doing?" asked Doof before Perry threw the Gravit-inator in the air, jumped up beside it and smacked it with his tail sending the metal ball straight at Doof who managed to doge it at the last second. Both looked up to see the Gravit-inator bouncing around the room, ricocheting off every wall at high speed. Perry, once again gave a look to Doof as if to say 'Really?'
"This is really something, Phineas!" called out Isabella as she slid down a rollercoaster like water slide filled with high rises, long drops and parts where the slide turned upside down.
"I know, right. We used the same low turbulence mechanics and specific gravity from the super sprinkler to make the water hold its shape while in motion and allow it to defy gravity" explained Phineas as he slid past her on a different slide. Phineas lay down on his back as he reached a drop in his slide. Before he reached the peak before the drop however, his red water park band on his right hand began to bleep. He pressed a small button next to a bigger one and talked into a small speaker. "Yeah, Baljeet?"
"Yes, Phineas? I was just wondering how you get out of here" he said, trying to be as nonchalant as he could.
"Why would you want to that Baljeet?"
"Well, not to worry you or anything but I fear I may have… I do not know um… travelled off the planned route" he said cautiously as he was being watched by a big green alien with one eye. It must have been a baby on account of its diaper and the fact he was stuck with it inside a crib.
"Just hit the big button Baljeet. That's why we took everyone's photos before they entered the water park. The button will tell the Photo-Transporter to transport you back the backyard" explained Phineas before he rode the slide down the huge drop. Baljeet shot the giant baby alien a phony smile as he reached over and pressed the big button on his water park band. He instantly disappeared and reappeared on the Photo-Transporter. Baljeet, after checking if all of him had been transported, ran off back to the water park. The baby alien began to cry as its new found toy disappeared before it could play with it. Just as it turned around and began shacking the bars on its crib, Buford dropped in from nowhere and landed in the crib.
"Oh boy" he exclaimed seeing the alien in front of him.
"Hehehehehehehehe!" giggled Candace, manically, sitting in the passenger seat.
"I… worry about you sometimes, Candace" stated her mother before turning her attention back to the road.
As the Gravit-inator bounced furiously around the room, Doof hid in the corner, cowering like a cat while Perry was busy trying to catch up with it. If Perry could stop it, he could dispose of it properly before it did something stupid. Every time that Perry would get near the sphere, it would either come in too fast or ricochet in another direction, infuriating Perry.
"Ahh, save us, Perry the Platypus!" screamed a frightened Doof as the Gravit-inator bounced off of the wall that was about three inches from his face. Perry tired of stopping this thing, dropped back onto the floor of DEI and began to watch the Gravit-inator's movements. "What are you doing, Perry the Platypus!? Stop that thing now before it does… something… gravity related!" Doof squealed. Perry rolled his eyes before dodging the Gravit-inator when it drew close to him. As Perry watched where the Gravit-inator hit and where it bounced next, Perry planned ahead a few steps. He leaped onto the rollercoaster like metal track the Gravit-inator once rode on and pulled a blowtorch from out of his fedora which he quickly used to separate a part of the track from the rest. He then pushed up against the wall and slowly managed to bend the metal bars in the direction of the rocket designed to launch it into orbit. Perry then quickly jumped out of the way as the Gravit-inator bounced off some metal tubing on the ceiling of DEI and landed on the metal railings. It made its way down them at high speed and, as it turned the corner Perry had made, it was launched from the railings and smashed into the hole in the rocket that the Gravit-inator was meant to fit in. The lights on the Gravit-inator soon flickered out.
The rocket, sensing that the Gravit-inator had been placed inside, activated and launched out of the tube, out of DEI and into the sky. "Ha!" yelled Doof standing up as if he hadn't been cowering just a few minutes ago. "You just completed my scheme for me Perry the Platypus. Now, with the Gravit-inator tacking control of the Earth, there will be no more holidays! One of my schemes actually worked! I ju…Wait… why are you smiling? Wait… the Gravit-inator, its damaged!" Doof ran outside onto the balcony while Perry followed behind him. "No, the rocket's off-course!" exclaimed Doof as the rocket flew in a manic and random patter, high above the Tri-State Area. As the rocket flew in the sky, the Gravit-inator inside began shacking and various springs began to shoot out from it as it began to malfunction. This also transferred to the rocket, as it too began to shake and lose some of its body material before the fuel inside the rocket caught fire and filled the air with a tremendous explosion.
Just as the Danville kids were enjoying Phineas and Ferb's amazing water park, the whole structure began to shake. As the structure stopped shacking and started rising from the ground, some of the slides began to slowly break apart. Phineas, seeing this, activated his com system on his band.
"Everyone, hit the big button, now!" he called out, to which everyone heard, before pressing the big button himself. As he stepped out from the Photo-Transporter, he saw the entire water park beginning to fly up into the sky. He was soon joined by all the kids who had also used the Photo-Transporter to escape. As everyone made their way onto the lawn, the Photo-Transporter was soon pulled up into the sky along with the water park, connected by a few cables.
"Wow…" simply remarked Isabella.
"Well, fun's over I guess…" remarked Phineas before all the kids began to cheer and thank him for an awesome summer day.
"Oh, curse you Perry the Platypus" said Doof as he looked down on Perry who was acting quite smug on foiling one of Doof's most ambitious schemes. "Ugh, it looks like I'm cursed to live out every holiday, alone and miserable" He looked at Perry with wide puppy dog eyes. "… and depressed… and aging horribly…" Perry rolled his eyes again and patted Doof as high as he could to his back, the back of his leg. "Oh… thank you Perry the Platypus. I guess I just want to spend a holiday with something I didn't make you know. I made Norm… I made… Vanessa. Will you spend the next holiday with me, Perry the platypus?" Perry sighed before giving him a sympathetic smile and a thumbs up before reaching up, grabbing his jetpack that conveniently flew past him and began on his way home.
As Linda pulled up, the second she stopped on the driveway, Candace had already gone, rushing off to the backyard. As she passed a number of kids heading back home, her hopes of success started to dwindle. As she pushed past several kids exiting the backyard, she marvelled at the completely ordinary backyard they were leaving. "WHAT!?" she yelled in disbelief. "What happened to to water park, tell me you little annoyances!?" she said, confronting her brothers.
"It flew up in to the sky" simply replied Phineas.
"I guess someone else wanted a turn, considering it was multi-dimensional and all" remarked Ferb which caused Candace to drop onto her knees.
"NO! Damn the separate laws of physics that solely work for my brothers!" she yelled into the sky in frustration.
"Oh, hey boys" said Linda, checking in on Candace from the other side of the fence.
"Hi mom" replied Phineas.
"I see you've had fun. No ice cream at the store but I can fix you up some refreshing fruit"
"Mmm… healthy" remarked Phineas.
"Come on Candace, you can help me with the bags" she said, heading back to the car, knowing Candace would follow.
"Ugh… fine…" she groaned before slowly returning to the car. As the gang began to make their way back inside, something began to nudge at Phineas' feet.
"Oh, there you are Perry" he said picking him up. "You missed all the fun. It would have been right up your alley"
"Wait…" called Baljeet. "Where is Buford?" As the gang looked around the backyard, they saw Buford hanging from his foot, from a green branch, from the tree in the backyard.
"Buford, what are you doing up there?" asked Phineas.
"Uh… guys…" started Buford as the green branch lowered revealing that it was a green arm, attached to a giant green alien baby. "… I think this alien's in love with me" he said nervously as the giant alien baby hung from the tree.
High in the sky, a small metal object twinkled as the sun shone down upon Danville. In the deep recesses of space floated a multi-dimensional, bottomless pooled water park connected to a Photo-Transporter. As the park floated beyond the moon, a small spherical device appeared from one of the slides. The sphere was rusty, with various pieces of it missing, exposing its inner circuitry. As it lifelessly floated along the water slide, it was soon subjected to the largest drop on the water park. Due to the water's low turbulence mechanics and specific gravity the sphere followed the waters course and appeared at the end of the drop after hitting the bottom of the slide. As it drifted along, it soon came into view of Earth during which, the lights on its casing and inner circuitry began to show activity…
