"What do you want?" Gingka snarled.

"Oh, what i want is of no consequence." Guro replied, stepping closer.

"If you dare hurt my friends, i will kill you." Gingka growled.

"Don't worry, i don't plan on hurting your friends. However, my boss might." Guro replied.

Gingka's eyes narrowed. "Your boss?"

"Ahh yes, you don't know where you are, do you?" Guro grinned.

"No, duh."

"Welcome... To the Darkling Caverns." Guro smirked.

Gingka's eyes widened in surprise. "To the what?!" He roared.

Guro laughed. "Well, you're not the only half-breed here. I, however, am fully shifter, half light, half dark."

"Then why would you do this? I know you were raised in the light shifters' area." Gingka growled.

"All my life, i was told that my parents were killed by Darklings. After meeting them in the forest, i found out that my father had fallen for a Darkling and had chosen to live with her. I, however, was taken to the lighter side to be raised. My true heritage is here." Guro growled.

Gingka narrowed his eyes. "And what do you want with me?!"

"Oh that's easy. We just need you out of the way of our conquest to finally eliminate the humans who killed so many of our kind so long ago. Since you're the only one who will bother trying to stop us, we decided to just get you out of the way beforehand."

Gingka growled as his eyes flashed reptilian for a split second before another wave of energy went from him to the wall, causing him to yelp in pain and collapse.

"I wouldn't reccomend that." Guro chuckled evilly.

"You... Traitor..." Gingka moaned before losing consciousness.

"Gingka?!" Madoka called fearfully, having heard the entire conversation.

"Don't worry, he'll be stuck there for a while." Guro chuckled, slithering over to the brunette, who was tied to a post with her hands behind her back.

"Guro you snake! When i get outta here, i'm gonna..." Kyoya left his threat unfinished, as the sounds of chains clanking were heard.

"You pathetic humans think snake is an insult. On the contrary, i'm very much a snake, so thank you." Guro smirked, slithering over to the struggling greenette.

Kyoya growled. "Why you-!"

Guro laughed as the Leone blader tried to lunge for him, only to be jerked roughly back by the ropes tying him to a post.

"Now, i can go destroy your world, and you can't do anything about it!" Guro cackled as several hundred Darklings entered and streamed through a portal that had appeared. Guro soon followed as the portal disappeared.

"What in the world?!" Tsubasa wondered, looking out the window of his office as a portal opened on the horizon and hundreds of dark creatures streamed out. Moments later, an eagle rapped at the window. This confused Tsubasa, as his own eagle was perched happily on a perch across the room. However, as soon as the other eagle appeared and began screeching, his own eagle became excited and flew to the window, then out the open door and downstairs.

"Hey! Eagle?!" Tsubasa yelped, following the bird, who fluttered excitedly at the closed door to the elevator. Confused, Tsubasa opened it and took it down to the first floor, where his eagle darted for the front door, much to Hikaru's alarm.

"What's going on?!" the bluenette yelped.

"Another eagle, but other than that, i don't know!" Tsubasa said, opening the front door before his bird hurt itself on the glass. Instantly, his eagle flew outside and landed in a tree next to the other eagle. Tsubasa and Hikaru followed.

"SInce when do you have a girlfriend?" Tsubasa teased, ruffling his bird's feathers.

"Sorry, but i'm not his girlfriend. I came to warn you and get you out of here." the second eagle said in a distinctly human voice.

Tsubasa and Hikaru gasped and took a step back in surprise. Tsubasa's eagle bowed its head slightly as the other bird dropped to the ground, turning into a young-looking brunette woman before their eyes.

"W-who are you? Or… WHat are you?" Tsubasa asked.

"I am Setsuna Hagane, the last of the full-blooded shapeshifters on your planet that i know of."

"Hagane?!"

Setsuna nodded. "I'm Gingka's mother. He himself is a half-breed shifter, and already knows his abilities."

"Gingka can… Shapeshift?"

"Yes, but we can explain later. I have to get you out of here." Setsuna flapped her wings and created a portal that soon sucked Tsubasa and Hikaru in, along with Tsubasa's eagle.

"Setsuna!"

"What is it, Ryo?"

"I can't find Gingka, and there seems to have been a bit of a fight in his quarters." Ryo panted. "I see you found more of his friends though."

Setsuna nodded. "I'll check out Gingka's quarters, if there aren't any more of his friends you want me to get?"

"No, you got all of the ones i could think of. We'd better hurry, Gingka may be in danger."

"Relax, Ryo. You know how messy he is. He probably was just looking for something." Setsuna said, flying off.

"Okay, what's going on here?!" the group of Gingka's friends demanded. "Where are we?!"

"Welcome to the shifter planet." Ryo chuckled. "Don't be afraid of any of the… For lack of a better term, creatures, that you will see here. As Setsuna has probably already mentioned to most of you, this is basically Gingka's other home, as he's half-shapeshifter thanks to her."

"Gingka's half-WHAT?!"

Ryo sighed. This was definitely going to be tough to explain. He began to do so, but was interrupted by a frantic Setsuna as the full-blooded shifter returned.

"Whoa! Calm down there! What is it?!"

"Darklings, Konsui powder, Gingka, trouble, HURRY!" Setsuna shrieked before flying around randomly, looking frantically around.

"Whoa, whoa, wait a minute! Slow down!" Ryo called, catching his frantic wife as she flew overhead, forcing her to land.

"Now, tell me what you found."

Setsuna took a few deep breaths and closed her eyes, calming down before explaining.

"I found the scent of a few Darklings, probably about five, as well as several human scents, Gingka's scent, that of another shifter in a snake form, and Konsui powder."

"What's Konsui powder?"

"If a shifter breathes in enough, it will knock them out cold. That suggests a kidnapping."

Ryo gasped. "So Gingka and his friends that were already here have been captured by the enemy?!"

"And i found this." Setsuna held up a shining silver and blue object.

"That's Gingka's Pegasus!" Kenta exclaimed from the crowd.

"He'd never just leave this behind." Ryo growled. "This confirms it."

"Gingka's been kidnapped."

"What do we do then?!" Setsuna hissed.

"We'll figure something out…" Ryo sighed.

"Where would he be held? We'll go break him out." King declared, smacking one fist into the opposing palm.

"If it was Darklings, there's only one place." Setsuna sighed.

"And that is where?" Aguma asked.

"The island of the Darklings. The place where they were sealed thousands of years ago and have now broken out of. It's their home base, and you won't be able to fight them." Setsuna said.

"Oh yeah? Watch us! We're not only the number one bladers in the world, we're also the number one darkling fighters!" Masamune declared.

"But, there remains one thing to be asked if you're going to fight the Darklings." Ryo sighed. "Even if you could fight them with beys, there's one more thing."

"And what is that?" Chao Xin asked, more than a little irritated at having been suddenly transported to a strange place.

"Are you prepared to kill the Darklings?"
