Aizen made his way down the hall pleased with himself; he just knew the boy was going to break if he wasn't already broken. But he was interrupted from his train of thought by a silky voice that just vibrated through the air flowing to his ears with a creepy tone.
"How's the boy?" Gin said when Aizen turned to face the silver haired man and his wide and almost permanent grin.
"He won't even look me in the eye. I think he is actually losing hope. He's breaking," The brunette replied with a clear defined smirk showing his joy in Ichigo's torture. He turned away from the man in the direction of his head quarters.
"And Gin, bring the boy some food, we don't want him to die in there." Gin opened his cold blue eyes seething the man before him. "Of course Captain." He said cheerfully and headed in the opposite direction to his superior.
Gin strolled to the kitchens grabbing some already prepared food, and went straight to where Ichigo was being held captive. He didn't want to frighten the boy but he had to know the truth. He grabbed the large metal handle attached to the large metal bulky door and swept it aside gracefully closing it tightly behind him with a loud bang. Ichigo only stared at the man with hatred, his scowl deepening at the man that betrayed his comrades and just watched them die one by one out on the battlefield.
"What do you want?" He said with attitude, if he was free handed he would've attacked the man right then and there.
"I brought some food; I was hoping we could have a lil' chat, ya know?" Gin was serious, he hardly ever got like this, but he knew where all cameras were in this place off the top of his head and he knew for a fact that Aizen wanted this room hidden of cameras so none of the Espada or himself could see what he does to those who disobey him. He could reveal his true self to Ichigo without even being interrupted or revealed as a spy.
"How do you expect me to eat it?" He wriggled his wrists making the chains jiggle and clatter slightly not making too much noise.
"I'll have ta' feed you myself, but not righ' now Kurosaki. You need ta' know some things." His voice became harsh all of a sudden, but that never stopped Ichigo responding to him like he usually would.
"What things do you need to tell me? You're just going to mess with my head until you break me, so I'm not falling for it."
"Kurosaki. I mean this, I'm not tryin' to get into that tiny thing inside your head you call a brain. There are no cameras in this room and I plan ta' tell you as much as I can now before it's too late."
Gin was not going to take any shit from Ichigo, he needed to tell him about his parents, he needed to tell him about himself, and he needed to tell him about Aizen's plan so he can hopefully escape.
"First, I'll tell you why I'm even here. I'm... well I guess you can call me a spy. I pretended ta' be a traitor so I could kill Aizen. But I know I can't do this alone and I seem ta' be the last one left of his lil' crew. Gin said explaining himself in a way that Ichigo couldn't interrupt him. Smashing out all the information in a couple of sentences may actually work if he even bothered to listen to him despite the situation.
"I'm not sure if I can trust you, but this all seems too farfetched to be a lie. So I believe you," Ichigo was calm about his decision, his chocolate brown eyes were filled with despair, it was like it was webbed throughout his soul, but not only for himself he felt more sorry for Gin. He gave up everything just to kill Aizen and save Soul Society. But he still hasn't been able to do any of what he planned to succeed at. "Did you have anyone that cared for you? Did you ever consider staying because of them?" Ichigo couldn't help it he needed to know if this man wasn't just stringing him along, he needed to know more.
"Ah, ya' want ta' be sure I'm not fakin' this righ'? Well the only person that could've changed my mind was Rangiku... We were friends since we were children, I always protected her. She was the reason why I had ta' do this. I had ta' continue protecting her." He was solemn; he remembered her screaming out his name as he left. Not telling her a single thing of his plans, nothing. Now he was standing here before Ichigo ready to actually put all these plans into action.
"I'm sorry... I know what it's like to protect someone you care for, but feeling like it's hopeless. I wouldn't be able to do what you've done. It takes guts."
Moving on, Gin didn't want to feel any more heart ache he knew he'd meet up with Rangiku soon enough, but it was still painful because of his web of lies.
"Thanks. Umm... This next part may seem... well- it may... it may shock ya'. The reason Aizen wants ya'..."
"It's because my father is a Shinigami and my mother is human isn't it?" Ichigo said practically giving Gin something to go on so he could continue his explanation.
"Ya' saw your father when ya' went through the Garganta, didn't ya'?"
He nodded just staring at the floor below him, just thinking about his father how he could've hidden such a secret from his own family.
"Kurosaki you're mother wasn't just a human. She was a Quincy." Gin exclaimed bluntly, just getting it out there.
Everything in the room went silent, Ichigo was so confused. A Quincy? His mother was a Quincy? How is that even possible?
"Aizen has kidnapped ya' so he can harness the power of both a Shinigami and Quincy, you're different to your sisters. Ya' can actually harness both the Shinigami and Quincy powers but ya' also have a little extra power similar to the vizards. You're unique and Aizen wants that power ta' destroy whatever's left of Soul Society."
"You do realise how insane this all sounds?" Ichigo asked quizzically.
"Well, what is Aizen then?"
Ichigo just stared at him with those harsh, but beautiful brown eyes, now only worrying even further about his safety.
"Now this is where it gets awkward, I kinda need ta' feed ya', otherwise Aizen will be kinda mad. So if ya' don't mind..." Gin trailed off, leaving it more up to Ichigo if he wanted help or not.
"Just do it, don't stay here longer than you have to." He said aggressively hating the fact he was being treated like a pet.
Grimmjow's cyan eyes scanned the area; he knew they were concealing their spiritual pressure because of Aizen. That monster being back didn't help the situation at all. He had to find them. Sadly enough they may be his only hope in order to rescue Ichigo and not die in the process. The man stood there closing his eyes focusing on the reiatsu surrounding him, the wind blew his hair back and forth, he felt Ichigo's presence first, the person he desired to find. But his reiatsu was weaker than normal, not on the verge of dying but... it was like it was being suppressed. Next he felt an abnormally strong reiatsu most likely Aizen, then he found the people he was after. But then he felt Gin was in the building very close to Ichigo, it made Grimmjow feel nervous as though something was trying to pull him into the sand beneath him, his anger flared in the pit of his stomach like he was about to explode. But he focused on the one reiatsu he needed and flashed into a blue and white blur only to vanish.
