...
"Vegeta, no."
"Woman, Trunks began his training when he was younger than her," Vegeta informed his wife.
"I don't care," Bulma retorted. "You're not forcing our daughter to train."
Little Anjou frowned. Her parents had been arguing about this for the last few weeks. Ever since the little hybrid had turned two years old.
Of course, Bulma was pretty much fighting a losing battle; Vegeta's father had also been arguing that Anjou needed to begin training. Though Anjou was only half, they both argued with Bulma that the bottom line was that she still had Saiyan blood and therfore possessed the innate ability to fight. All she had to do was hone her fighting skill.
Her mother on the other hand, was skeptical about allowing her only daughter to fight.
"Do you have any idea how late she is, Woman?" Vegeta demanded.
"WHAT DO YOU MEAN SHE'S LATE?!" Bulma screeched. The blue-haired heiress glared at her husband.
"She was supposed to begin training after she took her first steps," the Saiyan prince growled. "But you obviously wouldn't hear of that."
"She was a baby!" Bulma shot back. "And she still is! I cannot believe you...actually I can."
"Mother, Father," Anjou spoke up. "Can I say something?"
Bulma and Vegeta turned to their daughter.
"What is it, sweetheart?" Bulma asked.
"I know that you think it's dangerous and that I don't need to," Anjou took a breath before continuing. "But I want to train."
Both of her parents looked stunned.
"A-are you sure?" Bulma finally questioned after a while.
Anjou nodded.
"Of course I'm sure," she said. "I am little and yes, I am a girl, but I'm also the daughter of the Prince of All Saiyans. Warrior blood flows through my veins. Trunks got to train when he was my age, so I should get to do it too."
Bulma said nothing, she just stared at her daughter in disbelief.
The look of shock on Vegeta's face faded into his trademark smirk and he puffed out his chest.
"Spoken like a true Saiyan," the flame-haired prince said, setting his hand on Anjou's head.
Anjou grinned.
"She is really is stubborn," Bulma sighed and shook her head. "Just like her father."
"And her mother," Vegeta teased.
Bulma glared but laughed.
...
Chi-Chi frowned as Goku and Bardock sparred outside.
"Oh great, now there's two grown men in this house that do nothing but eat, fight, and sleep all day every day," she griped as she scrubbed the remainder of the breakfast dishes. "It's so unfair, I try so hard to be a good mother and wife and all I get in return is rebellious children and a husband and a father-in-law who can't get a job to save their lives. Thank goodness Gohan gave up that nonsense and actually did something that involves using his brain instead of ridiculous muscles. If only Goten could wise up and do the same."
"Uh, Mom, I can hear you, you know," Goten said.
"Well I'm trying to exert some positive influence on you," his mother sniffed. "Kami knows those two won't."
"Now I know how poor Gohan felt all those years," the younger son of Goku mumbled under his breath, glaring at his math workbook.
...
...
I hope everyone enjoyed that. Short, I know, but the next chapter will be much longer. And in the next chapter, Anjou begins her training, Bardock clashes with Chi-Chi, and Bulma has a surprise for everyone. The next chapter will be out on Tuesday, May 12th.
