Aria, Em and Spence don't know yet if they can trust Carl DiMera. He could very likely be working for -A.
They don't know that he is one of the good guys.
"Spence, can we trust him?" says Emily as they are in the car on the way back to the mansion.
"I really don't know for sure yet. What he told us might be true, but it can also be some sort of things that he said to lead us off track." says Spencer.
"Yeah, for all we know it's possible that he's on the A-team or something." says Aria.
"Do you think Han and Ali are still alive?" says Emily.
"Well...I hope so. At least we can be pretty sure that Hanna's still alive. It seems like -A is using her as bait to force the rest of us into a trap." says Spencer. "I don't know about Ali, but of course I wish that she's not dead."
"None of us wants Ali to be dead. She's our friend." says Aria.
"Okay. Switching subjects here, Em, can I be totally honest with you?" says Spencer in a mature serious tone.
"Of course, Spence." says Emily.
"I know that you love Paige very much and she's really nice to you, but sometimes I find her to be a little annoying." says Spencer. "I don't hate her and I'm sure she don't hate me. It's just that every now and then she and I clash for no reason."
"It's okay. Paige has a badass side to her and the reason she's less sweet around you is because you didn't trust her that much when she first started dating me." says Emily. "She understands that you know that she's our friend now. It's just something that will change over time. I know that soon you and Paige will be true BFF."
"Thanks for being so nice, Em." says Spencer.
"You know that I'm sweet." says Emily.
"Em, we do. Since we were little you've always been a total sweetie. That's one of the best things about you." says Aria.
"Aww! Thanks soo much, Aria." says Emily with a cute smile.
When they get to the mansion, Paige is waiting for them.
"Paige!" says a happy Emily out loud as she run up to Paige and starts to make out with her.
"Emily!" says Paige in a sweet romantic tone.
"Oh no!" mumbles Spencer, who's not comfortable with seeing the 2 girls kissing.
"Spencie, why do you think it's disgusting when I'm romantic with Paige?" says Emily.
"Really sorry about that, Em. I can't help it. Still not comfortable around you gay-chicks, I guess." says Spencer.
"You better get used to it then, cause me and Paige are gonna be in love forever and as my friend you should support that." says Emily.
"Of course, you're right. I'll do my best to accept your relationship with Paige." says Spencer.
"Thanks, Spencer!" says both Emily and Paige.
"No problem." says Spencer.
"You support us, don't you, Aria?" says Paige.
"Of course I do. You girls are beautiful together." says Aria.
"It's easy for Emily to look good. She's a natural beauty." says Paige.
"C'mon, Paige. You're really beautiful too and you know it." says Emily with a cute smile.
"If you say so my sweet awesome Emily." says Paige.
The next day, Caleb use his computer to try and track down -A.
"What are you doing?" says Paige.
"I try to find -A by using the ID-code from those txt-messages, but this far...nothing." says Caleb.
"You'll get there soon. I know this is your area of expertise." says Paige.
"Yeah, but there's things not even I can do." says Caleb.
"Hanna once said that you can do anything." says Paige.
"She exaggerate things sometimes." says Caleb.
"Yeah, that totally sounds like Hanna." says Paige.
Later that night in Brookhaven, Eric DiMera finds the Spirit. He try to fight it, but he's not nearly strong enough and he's knocked out. Hurt bad, yes, but still alive.
The next day as the sun goes up, Mona and Lucas finds Eric.
"Lucas, c'mon! We need to take him with us back to Red Coat...she can use the power of the Sangraal to heal him. Let's hurry before he die." says Mona.
Once they get back to Red Coat's apartment it's too late. Eric is already dead and not even the grand magical power of the Sangraal can help him.
"Eric was a true man. I wish he was still alive. His name shall not be forgotten." says Red Coat.
"Who'll take over in Brookhaven?" says Lucas.
"Mona, you're in command of the Brookhaven-division." says Red Coat.
"Yes, master." says Mona.
The next day at the McCullers-mansion, Spencer tells the others that if they wanna save Hanna and Alison too, if she's still alive, then they have to trust Carl. He seems to know more than them about what is going on.
"Are you sure that he's not working for -A? It's possible that he's trying to lead us into a trap." says Ezra.
"It's a risk we need to take. Yes, we don't know who's side Carl really is on, but if there's even a small possibility that we can help Hanna and Ali then I'd say it's worth it." says Spencer.
"Yes, we can't just wait here and do nothing." says Toby.
"C'mon, guys! Hanna and Ali needs us. I agree with Spencer, we need to do something here." says Paige.
"I don't think we should be so quick to trust Carl. Since he was rude to Spencer, I feel like he's not on our side." says Aria.
"Aria's right. Carl might be -A. We have to be careful." says Emily.
"So...Caleb, what do you think?" says Paige.
"Not sure." says Caleb. "I wanna speak to Carl myself before I decide if we can trust him or not."
"Looks like there's conflicting opinions about what our next step should be and that's not a good thing. We need to all stand united, now more than ever before." says Spencer.
"Okay. We're takin' 2 hours for everyone to think and then we need to come to an agreement." says Aria.
2 hours ( and 5 minutes ) later.
"Okay...so, we all agree on this, right? We're gonna let Carl help us, but one of us will keep an eye on him to make sure that we can trust him." says Aria.
"We agree." says Ezra, Caleb, Paige, Spencer, Toby and Emily.
"I'll call Carl and tell him that we want any help he can give us." says Spencer.
"Hold it a sec! Who's gonna be the one to follow Carl around...? I won't do it." says Paige.
"I can do it." says Toby.
4 hours later at the Brew.
"Hi, Carl. I'm Aria as you know and I guess you remember Emily, Spencer and Paige. This is Ezra, Caleb and Toby." says Aria.
"So you all want my help? Okay...this is what I know. The team behind all of this is a rather large team, probably at least 15 people, maybe more. I don't know exactly." says Carl. "They also have all the legendary items. The staff, the ring and the stone."
"How do we find them?" says Spencer.
"If we're lucky...maybe with this." says Carl as he pull out a small pocket-mirror. "This used to be my father's. With it we can track the person who has the ring."
Carl opens the small golden mirror and speaks something in Latin.
The mirror glow with a pale white light and in the mirror Red Coat can be seen walking down the street.
"That's her, the girl in the red coat." says Emily.
"Do you know her?" says Carl.
"No, not exactly. We've seen her, but we have no idea who she really is." says Emily.
"Wait, I know where that is. It's Emerald Lane in Ravenswood." says Spencer.
"I think you're right. That can't be far from Eric's house." says Carl.
"Eric DiMera? Your evil cousin?" says Aria.
"Yes." says Carl. "I think he's one of the enemies."
"Dang it..." says Spencer as the image in the mirror disappear.
"Now we're at least getting somewhere. The person that we need to look for is this Red Coat." says Spencer.
"Red Coat and -A is probably the same person." says Aria.
"Yeah, that makes sense." says Toby.
"Guess it's Ravenswood next. We should go there and force Red Coat to tell us where Hanna and Alison are." says Caleb.
"It's not that easy. With the ring, stone and staff, this Red Coat person is more powerful than all of us together. You can't just go up against her without a plan." says Carl.
"Fine! You who seem to know everything about this, tell me how to defeat Red Coat and save Hanna." says Caleb in a hard manly tone.
"Sorry, I wish I could, but I don't have all the answers." says Carl.
"Carl, you don't happen to have any other magical items aside from that mirror, do you? Perhaps a weapon?" says Paige.
"I did, but I sold it to a dude in China around 5 years ago." says Carl.
"Why?" says Paige.
"Because I didn't think I'd ever need it." says Carl.
"This weapon you had, what was it exactly?" says Paige.
"Paige! Carl probably doesn't wanna talk about it." says Emily.
"It's okay. The weapon I had was...the dragon blade." says Carl.
"What's the dragon blade?" says Paige.
"It's an ancient dagger that can steal souls and kill those who are protected by eternal youth magic." says Carl.
"Such a weapon could really be good in battle with -A." says Paige.
"Yes, but the dragon blade only follows the command of a select few." says Carl. "Of those only 4 are still alive."
"Do you know of any other magical weapon strong enough to defeat -A?" says Paige.
"Maybe...let me return home and check for information in my father's old books." says Carl.
"Okay. We'll meet here again tomorrow at lunch." says Spencer.
