Bonnie smiled at Henrik as he walked with her. "Thank you for tonight, that was…" she searched for the right expression while they didn't reach her room, it was the one just before the last one on the long hallway.
"Amazing? Fun and deemed to happen very often?" Henrik smirked, it reached his brown eyes and they beamed in joy.

Bonnie pressed her lips in contrast. "I hate lying so I'm going to be honest with you."
Henrik tilted his head making the longish brown hair fall a little to the side, he had amazing straight hair that he liked tossing around and Bonnie should be caught up in everything that Henrik was, even more because they were friends and he was just so easy to talk to but for some reason she wasn't able to feel anything else but the warmth of a good brotherly feeling with him.

"I was expecting some answers tonight…" she tried smiling. "I felt as if you were trying to make my questions go away with a lot of loud music and vodka."
Henrik laughed tossing his hair again as he threw his head back.

She slapped his chest playfully. "I'm serious."
"What do you want to know?" he asked quickly trapping her hand with his.

"What did you say to me back at the hospital when I was in a coma?"
He stroked her fingers feeling lucky that she wasn't stopping him. "That you better wake up because one day I was going to take you out to a Club with really loud music and vodka."

She rolled her eyes and pulled her hand back to her safety area, away from him and from his touch. "I need to know and you have been stringing me along for a straight answer."
"Bonnie… I said so many things at the time and I went to see you every day so how could I possibly remember now what I said back then? And in addition every single word I uttered while you were sleeping."

"I guess you are right… it's silly really… and it wasn't all even in English to start with." she shook her head trapping the short dark hair behind her ear.
"Exactly, there were too many Latin words there to remember it all now." Henrik laughed easily.

Bonnie lifted her eyes slowly. "Yeah… right." she slightly squinted at him. "Well, it's been a really long night and I need to sleep so…" she pointed at the door behind her.
"Thank you for the wonderful company, I will be coming for you again tonight." he smiled walking away under a loud sigh from her.

She wasn't as confident as he was that this was in any shape or form a good idea at all and she was certainly confused as she came inside the bedroom she was currently occupying.
Bonnie left the borrowed coat from Rebekah on a chair and came closer to her nightstand, she moved a hand over a candle shedding light into the dark room and unzipped her dress but as she was about to take it off she stopped, taken by what she found resting over her pillow.

Slowly Bonnie reached for the long silver necklace with a medallion, she was even shaking as she ran her thumb over the symbol engraved in it, she had seen this before, somewhere…
With a gasp Bonnie lifted the mattress and took the book she had been reading, the one she stole from Kol's collection and she frantically searched for that page with the Family Lines.

There it was, Bonnie sat roughly on her bed, it was the same symbol as she confirmed by resting the medallion against the page, under the line she tracked back to her family and her origins stood a feather.
She closed the book and gripped the medallion in her hand, who would do this?

Who would come into her room and leave her such a gift?
She opened her hand again, she was now holding the only thing she had of her lost family.

"I'm not telling you a thing Niklaus." Finn handed him the empty blood bag.
"The only consistency in your marriage with Sage was your utter protection of her whenever my feeble humor came into play so why are you sleeping in a cold cell after almost turning her into ashes? What did Sage do?" Klaus handed the empty blood bag to Jesse.

"Blame it on the full moon, it affects us all from time to time." he joked showing absolute comfort with his new accommodations.
"More like the fools moon." Klaus mumbled turning away from Finn.

Finn laughed with the right amount of mockery. "Are you not proud that I finally found my bravery?"
"It comes with a loose brain, I'm not entirely sure I should ever let you out of here."

"Yes..." he widened his eyes like a true mad man. "Who knows what I might do? I might kill my wife in her sleep, press a beautiful clean stake into that fine chest of hers and watch her burn in the bed we shared with so many others."
Klaus looked at his brother with a slow dither. "Wonderful Finn, that's just what the court needed, the mad joker."

Finn laughed eerie and uncanny. "I've inherited the madness from father, he cut mother's head when he grew tired of her, I think I'll do the same to mine."
Klaus pressed his lips with a nod. "I'll leave you to ponder upon the right blade to use." he shared a smile with Jesse and then left with the soldier.

"Do I keep him in there for long majesty?" Jesse asked him as he closed the door.
Klaus shook his head. "No, send Sage away to somewhere safe but release Finn tonight, no one in my family should ever spend more than a day locked inside one of these." his voice lowered a bit as the action of Jesse turning the key on the heavy lock took him back in time.

Late 15th Century

There was movement outside the cell and Klaus moved his head so that he could see who was paying him a call this time, he expected his father to appear before him with a whip but it was Rebekah that hurried inside the dark dungeon.
She knelt next to him and touched his scruffy face. "Nik… father has been cautious of who comes down here and I haven't been able to avoid his hawk eye for days now, how are you feeling?"

She flicked her eyes to the bruised chest and the stained pants with blood that should be dry by now but like they all suspected their father was a vicious man who took a special crooked pleasure in beating and trying to humiliate Klaus every month around the full moon, the image of her brother chained and shirtless, barefoot and visibly ill made her want to sob and never stop but all this only seemed to further fuel Klaus' rebellion against a tyrant father.

"It pains me to speak because they used a chain to restrain me around the neck this time." his voice was low but she still heard the pain behind it.
"Father is just afraid of when you turn into this animal…" she whispered.

"He doesn't have to lock me for weeks, I only turned last night during the full moon."
She looked down from his painful eyes. "We can't stop him… he threatens to dormant our vampire side like he did to you."

Klaus turned his head to the wall and away from her. "You should leave then, he will return soon. The wounds are closing already and he always likes to use the whip on the fresh cuts."
Rebekah moved her hand taking the shirt laying next to him and used it to clean his wounded skin. "He has been here today already..." she knew he didn't wear the shirt because the wounds on his back were too deep and bleeding.

"As soon as the day cleared and I shifted back." he closed his eyes wishing the cold ground would do more than numb the pain that was setting his back on fire.
"Maybe you should run away Nik… just go away to somewhere he won't be able to find you." Rebekah said close to tears.

"I will die at his hand before I flee like a coward." he said that last word looking at her again.
His sister nodded aware of what he thought of her, of all of them. "You rather keep defying him… but you should know that it hurts us all when you go against him in everything because we all know he will take it out on you later."

"I remind him of our dead mother so he will never stop but neither will I." Klaus spoke to her but looked behind her at the set of boots stopping by the door.
"You are always so poetic Niklaus." Mikael stepped inside the cell slowly.

Rebekah stood up as slowly as her father paced around the small chamber. "Father I know that you have forbidden us to come here without your permission but I…"
Mikael stopped her by striking her across the face with the back of his hand, the throbbing blow propelled blood to the wall as it slashed her lip open. "Be silent and leave to your chambers Rebekah."

She quietly left without looking at him and Mikael cleaned his hand glancing over to Klaus.
"Is there anything you want to tell me Niklaus?" he daunted the subtle rage growling its way out of Klaus.

"One day, not that far from now I will take your head as a souvenir and I will retrieve your eyes so that I can keep them close to me." Klaus said with a hint of a smile forming on his dry lips.
"And what will you do with my eyes son?" Mikael mocked him with an open smile.

"I will keep them with me next to the throne so that you can watch me rule this kingdom and this family better than you ever did." Klaus brought his true smile forward.
"As I said before Niklaus, you are always the poetic one." Mikael sighed bored and left the cell, he met the guard waiting outside and spoke to him in a low voice.

Klaus could only brace himself aware his father just ordered his release with a beating that would come from the bulky guard this time; the big guard, taller than Finn and stronger than Elijah was a mean heavy man who liked inflicting pain and Klaus gripped the chains around his wrists ready to use them.
The guard kicked his leg callously. "Stand up, the King wants you out of here so we can clean this place, it has a nasty foul smell that is beginning to reach outside."

Klaus didn't say a word or motioned any action, he just stared at the guard with a blank expression.
The man kicked him again and when he was about to kick him once more Klaus laced one chain around his ankle and pulled it hard, the slight waver was enough to unbalance him and Klaus placed all of his strength behind the next move, as the man staggered Klaus released his foot only to raise from the ground with extraordinary agility and he quickly tied the chains around the man's neck choking him hard.

He fondled for air and wriggled unsuccessfully out of Klaus' unwavering hold, his heavy sword scratched the ground calling the attention of the rest of the guards, as the first wave came inside the cell Klaus tightened up his hold and brought the man closer to his chest, he was taking one of them with him today.
They looked confused and it took them a few seconds to draw out swords but as the man locked inside of Klaus' grasp turned purple they decided to act on it.

There was an unexpected whooshing blur that stepped in front of them, directly cutting their access to Klaus. "What are you doing?" the tall blonde man asked the guards.
"He is killing him." One of them replied.

"He is the King's son, he can kill whoever he wishes so you better stand down." the blonde man demanded while standing bravely between the guards and Klaus that tossed the dead man to the side.
As Klaus stood up the rest of the guards tucked in swords and left the cell out of sheer respect for the man now turning to face Klaus.

"Are you not mistaking me with one of my brothers?" Klaus asked conscious that he was not very popular among the ones living in the castle.
"No my Lord, I know exactly who you are." the other answered untying his cloak and placing it around Klaus.

"Grant me a name so I can say the same." Klaus asked of him as the man took his sword and broke the iron shackles using the tip of the metal weapon for leverage.
"I'm Stefan Salvatore, a vampire used for unnecessary duties but nonetheless at the service of the Royal Family."

Klaus chuckled with the easy let out. "So you don't agree with my father's way of leading his army?"
"I'm a soldier my Lord." Stefan put his sword away. "I don't see the point in ignoring how the kingdom is looming in rage for the vile attacks happening everywhere while we are used to chaperon Princess Rebekah during her endless walks around the colorful gardens."

Klaus laughed twisting his sore wrist. "I see a mutiny ensuing Stefan."
"I'm just one of many that believe we could be doing something useful, I assure you that there are others like me."

Klaus lifted his blue eyes languorous to meet Stefan's. "It's hard finding men I can trust inside these domains."
"My family's estate is just an hour away by horse, I'd be honored to have your visit. I have been a soldier for longer than I can recall and I know leadership when I see it, I see a brave leader in you that I would follow blindly and with loyalty, as so many others would, your father never cared for anyone but himself and his public despise for werewolves and humans is causing a sickening reaction from everyone."

"He doesn't hate werewolves, just the son that was born with the werewolf gene." Klaus clarified.
"My father was a cruel bastard that I killed as soon as I turned vampire so you have my support there."

Klaus returned the complicity smile and shook hands with Stefan. "I see a long friendship ahead of us Stefan."

"You look lost in random memories." Stefan stopped next to Klaus.
Klaus laughed softly, he looked at his friend admitting his thoughts. "I just came from seeing Finn in the dungeons and somehow I was led back to when you planted the seed of upheaval inside of me."

Stefan laughed loudly. "Me? You were already planning on overthrowing your father when I naively hinted that you should be King instead of him."
"Hmm…" Klaus lessened his eyes and touched his chest. "You said that I was a king among men already, I only needed a crown to go with it."

"I was easily impressed back then…" Stefan poorly defended himself.
Klaus lifted an eyebrow and then both men crumbled into a joined laughter.

They had walked together along the long hallways of the castle so many times by now and still today the feeling between them was not the slightest diminished, they were closer than siblings and like so many times with them an expression spoke louder than words.
"There is something bothering you Stefan." Klaus told his friend as they reached one of the new rooms in the castle.

The dreadful room once used by his father to host dull guests was now turned into a modern den and Klaus particularly liked the alcohol Stefan had reserved for them.
Stefan sat on the chair by the desk with a somber look. "I never understood that oath you forced me to take…"

Klaus smiled as he picked up two glasses before joining Stefan. "I assume we are speaking about the time I made you promise to not lift a finger in case someone attacked me and pushed me out of the throne."
"You compelled me to stay quiet and to not go after those who hurt you." Stefan corrected the small specific while holding the glass Klaus handed him.

"I couldn't afford to lose you Stefan, they would have killed you and because I am immortal I would have to face your loss once I returned, forgive me for my selfishness but what binds me to you is more important to me than scarlet red blood."
"Do you have any idea how it was to endure 500 years unaware of how you were and to know where Caroline was but unable to do anything about it?" Stefan couldn't stomach his drink right now so he left it on the desk untouched.

"Unbearable I presume." Klaus held back his will to drink.
"I want you to take back the compulsion, I won't sit around in agony if anything happens to you again."

Klaus smiled resting his hand on Stefan's shoulder. "It won't happen again, I give you my word as your king and borrowed brother that it will not happen again."
Stefan pressed his teeth, his jaw was hard and he left the chair harshly. "I'm not happy but I know by now that I can't contradict you because nothing seems to stop you or to change your mind when you are resolute."

Klaus remained in silence as Stefan left visibly hurt that he wouldn't award him with this but the truth was that Klaus was protecting Stefan even if he was blind to it.

Late 15th Century

Klaus pushed the door open so hard that it cracked as it hit the wall, it definitely gripped everyone's attention as he came inside the room with nothing but buoyancy.
"Mind if I cut in the happy family meeting?" he asked the confused faces following his steps before he stopped by his father's chair.

"You are always welcome here Niklaus but…" Sage looked at Finn urging him to speak with a movement of her head.
"Father will not be pleased that you are attending without his consent." Finn didn't even look at him as he spoke.

Klaus smiled effortlessly taking the chair available, the gasp was shared by everyone even by the young girl that now shared a bed with his father.
Honestly he couldn't remember her name but the girl couldn't be more than 15 and for her to be attending a meeting that was held by his own family instead of him was an insult he was not having.

"He will not be pleased…" Rebekah softly spoke next to Elijah.
"Our beloved father will not be able to join us." Klaus solemnly entangled his fingers with a cheerless sigh. "He has his head somewhere else." he smiled with the darkest aura surrounding him.

"What did you do Niklaus?" Elijah whispered fearing the worst.
"I beheaded him and left his head hanging on the public square."

The girl covered her mouth horrified while all the siblings restlessly moved around the table.
"You killed our father?" Young Henrik was conflicted between horror and happiness.

"It was only a matter of time, if he didn't kill him someone from the Church would have found a way to do it." Kol shrugged. "I like that it was done in the family."
"He was not a common criminal Kol." Elijah used his share of reproach.

One that Kol reticulated with a smirk. "He was a Royal dick."
"KOL!" Sage called him out leaning her head to the crying mess sitting at the table.

"My deepest apologies to the one that has seen it." Kol said giving Sage a seriously look.
Klaus was too amused to stop Kol and laughed from his new seat.

"What I meant to say is that you could have at least given him some dignity on his dying hour." Elijah said looking at the table with the family symbol.
"I presented him with the same he offered me every time he left me chained inside of a dark dungeon without food or water." Klaus leaned over to Sage. "And why are you still here? This is a family meeting, you are an expensive pet that my brother named after him."

Finn stood up outraged. "Mind your tongue."
"Sit down before I make you a widower." Klaus warned him with a mere look.

"I will excuse myself because a lady shouldn't be graced with such animal manners." she stood from the table with poise.
"Make sure you say that to the first lady you encounter, if you are able to recognize one." Klaus smirked at her.

Sage snarled at him baring her fangs before walking away.
He kept smiling but there was a nagging trembling sound on his left and he recalled the infant that was insultingly replacing his mother. "Run." he hissed at the girl showing her his yellow eyes.

She stumbled away but he was certain he wouldn't see her again.
"I heard that you broke the curse last night but I thought that was just a big murmur." Kol was the first to say what everyone was thinking and he stood up coming to Klaus fast.

"I have come full circle, the witches broke the dormant spell after Stefan and I went ripper on everyone we could find, turns out all I needed was an amulet from the witch that originally did the spell for father." he handed Kol a medallion with a feather. "I had to dig her grave to retrieve that, it is said that who wears it becomes immune to compulsion or to any other ability vampires have."

"It's pretty... mind if I keep it?" Kol asked carelessly.
Klaus moved his hand granting him the petty token.

Henrik left his chair with a fast pace and took Sage's vacant place. "Let me see your hybrid fangs."
"You know that your mind tricks don't work on me Henrik." Klaus reminded him of good manners.

Henrik sulked. "Please?" he grumbled the one word he never used.
"Now is not the time Henrik." Elijah strictly shut him down.

"How come you haven't asked for help while reducing the family?" Rebekah asked only now facing Klaus, somehow she expected him to be different now that he was a hybrid and she looked down again knowing he was reading her thoughts.
"The fewer the people I involved in my quest the safer it was." Klaus gave in into an easy smile, it was hard for him to do so because the one thing that pained him the most was the differ way his siblings looked at him, specially Rebekah and Elijah.

"All fancy words to say you don't trust us." Finn didn't even bother looking at him.
"I will share my plans with you when you learn how to handle a sword and not be afraid of its weight." Klaus returned acidly.

"So what now? I assume you will be naming Stefan a General and starting a massive war to get rid of every ill weed in the land."
Kol knew him too well and Klaus smiled at him thankful for that, he and Henrik were also the ones that looked at him like he was just a brother and not a creature of different nature which was why Klaus had such a soft spot for them.

"First, we throw a party to crown the new king." Klaus glanced over to Elijah.
"If you are expecting a rebellion, don't. You took matters into your hands so publicly that by now everyone sees you as the new king already, it would be foolish of me to remind you that the next in line for the crown was Finn as the older brother." Elijah held back from the sting that he felt entitled to that chair more than anyone present in the room. "As part of the crest of this Family and Kingdom, you may keep what you killed."

Because Klaus was onto his ways to hide behind Finn or simply because the idea of Finn as a king was too comical he burst into a loud laughter resting his elbows on the table, he touched his forehead as he leaned forward still laughing. "I tell you what brother, I leave it to the two of you to find me a suited queen. To find someone who doesn't bore me within the first twenty seconds should be a fair challenge for my older and wiser brothers."
"It will be my honor... my King." Elijah swallowed his pride and placed his family first.

"The old king is dead…" Klaus said darkly.
"Long live the new king." Elijah stood up tucking in his sword and bowing to his brother with respect.

Finn reluctantly followed Elijah's ways and then Rebekah bowed as well.
Klaus waited for Kol and Henrik that barely made it an official thing but he expected no less for the two young ones.

After the entire family greeted him as the new king, Klaus asked them to sit again with a wave of his hands. "Please." he asked of them.
Once seated he looked serious at each and every sibling. "Inside of this room I am not the king, I am not your ruler and my word will not be final in any way. I am your brother and in here we will all be equals, we will be a family."

It was meant to bring the family closer but it still was his first commanding as the new king.

"I can't believe you did that..." Rebekah was incredulous, she was pacing back and forth with a shaking head inside one of the unused rooms in the old wing.
"This is good for us Rebekah, we can be together all day now and we don't have to sneak around all the time, plus we can do all the things we planned to help my side."

"Your side? Now we have sides?" Rebekah neared him. "There won't be any sides left if my brother finds out that we are seeing each other. He will kill you and then come after me..."
"You are being a little melodramatic." he sweetly told her.

She laughed against her will agreeing with him. "He will still be very upset and I need to not look at you when we are all together in the same room."
"Why is that?" he brushed her chin lovingly.

"He will see how much I love you."
"Now that was beautiful." he teased her with a smile.

She crumbled into a silly chuckle. "I thought so too."
"So is it safe to kiss you while we are here?" he inched his blue eyes closer to hers.

"No one comes to this side of the castle, it's where my father used to live and sleep so everyone stays away now..." she whispered tracing her fingernail down his chest.
"Is there a bed... nearby?" he asked sneaking his hand inside her top and caressing the skin on her lower back.

"We don't have much time." she warned him while pulling his shirt over his head.
Matt lowered his head kissing the revealing cleavage on her black top, he only had to move a little fabric to expose her breast to him.

"I mean it Matt..." she whispered dropping her head back.
He lifted his head trailing her skin with kisses until he found her lips, he parted them with a sweet tongue that engaged hers into a deep kiss, she lost her fingers inside of his hair and caressed his back loving the moment.

Matt broke the kiss to take her top and Rebekah pulled him with her to the floor, they were inside of an old empty room and about to have mindless sex on the floor and yet it all felt perfect and right, as he freed a breast from her bra and started caressing it with his lips and tongue it became very clear to Rebekah that she needed an ally.
A very powerful ally that would make sure Klaus wouldn't kill the man now lowering his lips down her rib cage and opening her Jeans, yes, she needed someone able to tame Klaus' wrath.

Rebekah gasped in pleasure when his tongue began to do the most unspeakable things to her, then again there was always that one chance that Klaus would understand that true love and passion happens when one least expects.

Early 16th Century

She padded her long wavy curls making sure they were all in place, Caroline needed to be the image of sheer perfection so she also made sure the new dress was immaculate and without a single wrinkle, she was particularly fond of this one, she had been saving the pale pink dress with a sweetheart neckline and short sleeves for a very special occasion.
She had another long deep breath and decided to stand, she should be waiting for the king up on her feet and not sitting down like a boring lam waiting for the wolf, she anxiously looked at the door waiting for any commotion but he was making her wait.

How delightful of him.
Impatiently Caroline looked around the big hall paying more attention to the things kept in here, they seemed to be trophies and for some reason it only hit her now that this was a bad sign.

She randomly touched a few daggers and then moved to something that she could only describe as gross, he kept a collection of teeth and she turned her head away truly disgusted but as she did so something rather intriguing caught her eye instead.
Caroline came closer to the big table unable to stop herself from outlining the images someone carved into the wood, it was like watching a portrait that seemed to move with life, a man and a horse stood surrounded by trees and Caroline smiled running her fingers through the most magical thing she had ever seen in her life.

"My apologies for keeping you waiting." Klaus tried to scare her by showing up next to her.
But instead of flinching or startling at all Caroline kept her eyes on the table. "I don't think I have ever seen anything so beautiful."

"Truthfully I think it's a master piece." he answered fixated on her ivory features gaining color as she realized he was looking at her.
Like she was born with the natural ability to toy with creatures as she pleased, Caroline smiled moving away from the table. "Give my congratulations to the Court's carpenter, he is exquisite." she bluntly ignored the name carved under the images.

He grimaced with the comment and idiotically fought a mopping expression while she simply skimmed through the rest of the items in the room lingering a little on the vast collection of shields he kept on display but she was too nervous to truly appreciate any of it so she faced the king with a big smile.
"My Lord..."

"Caroline." he smiled at her.
"Yesterday was my birthday." she said with a happy sigh.

"I'm aware, I sent flowers." he fast tracked her thoughts with a pair of dimples that juggled her stability.
"Yes, thank you for sending all the roses left in the kingdom." she recalled the outlandish amount of flowers she received at her home.

He held his big smile and Caroline stared a little at his dimples, irrationally she wanted to poke them, with a shake of her head she looked down on her pink dress.
"So now as promised I come forward to my king asking for permission to be turned into a vampire." she resumed to her mission today.

Klaus left his eyes on hers, they were the strangest blue he had ever seen, they were almost green if he stared at them for long and they were sparkling in a blaze he hadn't seen in many.
There was a fire in Caroline so latent that he could feel it prickling to come out but she was still so strangely tamed that he found it all terribly intriguing, there was no doubt that Caroline was meant for greater things than just leading the dull small life humans had reserved for them but she also held within herself a fire that he wasn't quite familiar with.

While others kept the eye contact with him to the minimal she searched his eyes often and without fear, he only found curiosity and wonder in them, there was even a playful feel to it and he wasn't holding back either, he found her alluring and somehow atypical from all the other women.
She wasn't playing coy with him but she wasn't exactly teasing him with unspoken promises of lustful moments, nonetheless as his eyes lowered to her lips, that was precisely what he wanted to do, he wanted to ravish that dress apart from her milk-white skin and consume her with a passion that for him was entirely new.

He wanted Caroline with the same fire that prickled from her skin and touched his even if they weren't standing that close to each other and she seemed to read on his face all the ways he wanted her shuddering his name because she blushed and he heard her heart race a little.
To be exact, the only time he ever felt this alive was when he was leading his troops and killing brutally.

"You maintain your unwavering will to become a vampire?" he made the official question.
"Yes." she answered while her heart quickened.

He smiled moving away from her and she blinked puzzled, as she turned she found him by the door already.
"Someone will take you to my chambers, I'll send word to your father that you will only return tomorrow morning…" he wavered looking back at her with a wicked smile. "Perhaps it's better to extend that, I shall send you back tomorrow night."

"Your majesty… I'm rather confused, why do you need an entire night and day to turn me and why will I be visiting the Royal private domains?" she narrowed her eyes suspicious.
"We can do it somewhere else if you prefer but I reckoned it would be more comfortable for you if we consummated this on a more private area of the household… where no one can hear us." his smirk seemed to say you.

"Like a horse that needs to be kicked to start racing, only now it fully dawned on me my king, that you are planing on consummating me, repeatedly for what I was able to understand and with an awful smug audacity to assume that I would love it and boast your ego evermore by screaming your name loudly for everyone to applaud your manly despicable qualities." she restrained so much from walking over to him and slapping him hard across that smirking face of his.
"Is there a problem sweetheart?" he asked with an easiness that only enraged her more.

Caroline clenched her teeth and her hands became fists by the side of her body. "How dare you hold the assumption my Lord that I came here today ready to leave my blood on your sheets in exchange for a vampire status?" her voice grew of tone as anger filled her chest.
"I'm the king and I do not give away my blood without a price." he came back into the room with a serious voice accompanying the stiff of his body.

Caroline raised her chin high and shook her curls. "I rather be a lesser and ask any vampire on this land to turn me than to become another trophy for your personal flaunt." she undid her fists and held her dress, with a perfect buckle of her knees she bowed gracefully to him. "Have a good day my King, today was the day I did waste your time."
It wasn't until her voice dropped that particular octave that he realized how much she sounded offended. "Caroline…" he called as she went by him without stopping.

"Do not disregard your ruling craft my Lord, clearly your forte rests in the arts of war but a good ruler should also have a heart and gain the respect of others by simply being respectful." she said facing him one last time before walking away.
Klaus dropped his stare to the floor and his body sort of cave in under the weight of her words, his shoulders slouched a little and he lowered his head just that bit affected by the powerful woman so honestly speaking to him unafraid of him and his known temper.

Klaus touched the lines carved on the old table, the memories attached to it were like a little movie that he had been indulged for the last hour and he smiled overtaken by how Caroline had carved herself into his life and soul.
"Are you thinking of me?" Caroline waltzed inside the room enthralling as always, with a flawless look and smile.

"I was admiring the carpenter's work." he replied with a bigger smile as she reached him.
"Hmm… so you were thinking of me." she cutely pulled her shoulders together.

"Oddly I've spent all day lost in old memories and tales."
Caroline laced her arms around his neck then she lazily lowered a hand to his chest. "There are too many stories roaming around these old hallways like ghosts, we should go out tonight."

"You cannot saunter your way into an invitation for a night on the prowl and expect me to hesitate upon my answer."
She laughed feeling his excitement roaring out of him. "Give me an hour, I need to choose the right dress."

She hauled away from him but he pulled her back to him, there was a giggle that escaped her before he cupped her cheek bringing her face closer to his.
"Wear something easy to shred."

She giggled again. "Niklaus…"
He smirked without shame. "Or something very hard to shred instead, I do like a good fight."

"I will wear whatever I please." she quickly ended the debate.
He released a small not approving sound. "I should have married one of those girls Elijah wanted, they would sit home and make pillows with my name embroidered in it and do everything I wanted without complaining."

Caroline laughed richly and loudly. "Oh Niklaus, I love how you childishly believe you ever stood a chance against this. It was destiny that placed us on that road, like we were racing to each other. From the moment I saw your eyes that I knew I never wanted to look at anything else for the rest of my life and now our love became timeless."

He framed her body with his hands and pinned her to him. "I want to have sex with you on that table Caroline." he spoke teasing her lips into a kiss.
"Please do." she pressed her lips against his.

The group laughed loudly with the joke forgetting momentarily about the ongoing game, Anna found the silly joke more amusing than she should but then again she was in such a good mood because of her new car that she found anything funny.
That is until Stefan came inside the Pub with a very stern look, everyone eased up on the laughter and stood formally as he walked to them.

"Hey, we could use another partner, Anna can't play pool." Lexi teased the smaller vampire.
The girl recoiled even more when Stefan stopped inches away from her.

"Do you mind explaining to me how Henrik just returned to the castle this morning with a guest that was supposed to stay hidden and a secret?"
"We can't really say no to him Stefan…" Anna weakly explained.

"If The Five find out that we have Bonnie hidden in the castle they will hunt her down."
"I know Stefan but there was nothing we could do, you know that Henrik compels people with his mind, it is impossible to say no to him." Anna defended herself against a pissed Stefan.

"Vervain usually helps." he snapped irrationally.
Anna looked at Lexi waiting for her to step in, the blonde moved her head motioning the group to leave the pool table.

"Don't!" Stefan warned her before she started speaking.
"You are being a dick." she crossed her arms.

"Caroline likes the witch and she won't be happy when she finds out that we simply held the door of the car for her while Henrik took her out for a very public stroll around town."
"Then she can go kick Henrik's ass because he is the only one to blame here, not your loyal soldiers that you just rudely sent to drink vervain. I don't care how cranky your mood is, it doesn't give you the right to be a jerk and tell people to go burn their insides."

"Are you finished?" he asked sitting at the edge of the table.
"I'm not drinking with you tonight, you are being a big D and you are ruining my Zen." she threw her hands in the air.

"Who said I wanted to drink with you Lexi?" Stefan smiled effortlessly but she took it the wrong way and simply stormed away from him.
He grimaced wanting to stop her and feeling bad at once that he didn't.

"You really shouldn't treat her like that, she's way too hot to be treated like that." Damon sat next to Stefan admiring the blonde now drinking with her friends.
"When you have a best friend of your own you can give me advice on how to treat mine." Stefan smiled leaving the table.

Damon kept his eyes on the girl while he had a sip from his beer, he smiled at her when Lexi casually looked at him and the blonde with the long hair frowned suspicious of the look.
After a few other strange looks she decided to approach him slowly. "Why are you undressing me with your eyes Damon?"

"Because the skimpy clothes are getting in the way of my view." he bluntly flirted with her.
"This is awkward." she moved a finger between them.

"Because you are not drunk enough." he offered his beer to her.
Lexi pulled her head back and laughed. "Oh, you almost got me there." she still pointed at him as she walked away laughing.

He smirked looking back at the counter towards a fuming Stefan.

Henrik greeted Bonnie with the biggest smile as she opened the door of her room.
"Hey…" she moved the door a little without stepping into the hallway.

"So Caroline and Nik are going to a Club, I thought that maybe we could go with them." he said all too naturally.
"Henrik, I don't think that's a good idea, I shouldn't be risking it until I have a clue of what I will do with my life. I know that I can't stay here forever but I don't want to go around pushing my luck either by going out all the time."

"You are completely safe with me." he threw one of his dashing smiles into the mix.
"Have fun at the Club Henrik, I have a date with a big book that has big words." she smiled at him sweetly and moved to close the door.

He recovered quickly by gently holding it. "Bonnie… are you really telling me no?" he moved his fingers down the door so he could touch hers.
"Goodnight Henrik." she was so assertive that he went serious at once.

His eyes caught the silver chain around her neck and he alarmed her when he swiftly reached for it, he pulled the necklace out of her cleavage revealing the medallion.
"Someone left me a gift…" she quietly said expecting him to take credit for it but instead he loosened up the grip around the chain letting it fall to hide again inside her shirt.

"You deserve something prettier, I'm going to get you a new one tomorrow." he left without giving her a chance to reply.
He knew he would find Kol nearby and he found him leaning against the rail of the inner balcony with a taunting smile.

"Why would you give her that?" he confronted Kol.
Kol was entertained with the appalling stance. "She is living in a house full of vampires, it's only fair to give her protection against them…" he chuckled merely to spike the other. "But I guess what's really crossing you right now is that you can't use your abilities on her any longer, it's not so easy to wheel her into this friendship that you fabricated with her when she has a fair saying in it, is it Henrik?"

"It's not my fault that you decided to be spineless, she assumed that I was her guardian angel and I went along with it."
"I was protecting her and I intend to keep doing so." Kol was so fast that Henrik was hanging over the rail of the staircase before he had a decent chance to prepare for it. "If you ever place her so recklessly in danger again like you did last night, I will bury you so deep under the ground Henrik that you won't be able to compel anyone for centuries."

"Finally decided to make this a fair fight?" Henrik hissed at him.
Kol smirked with a sadist flair that had been quiescent for centuries now. "You don't stand a chance baby brother." he pushed Henrik over the balcony and went down the stairs calmly, he stopped near Henrik looking down at his brother. "I learned that from our big brother."

Henrik glared at his sneering sibling, he wasn't ready for a full comeback from Kol.

"Dance has evolved reasonably since our parties…" Klaus stated the obvious once inside the stuffy Club.
Caroline smiled with peculiar excitement for the way the couples were grinding against each other, she launched a naughty look at Klaus. "Not all is bad…"

He laughed taking her hand and twirling her around, she happily landed against his chest.
"This would cause such a scandal in our old world." he whispered sliding his hands down the tight short black number she was wearing.

"Whenever we would stop a dance to kiss or break formal carriage the old hags would faint, imagine if we were ever to do this…" she turned around melting her body with his, rubbing her ass against him as she moved to the sexy music.
"We would make hearts collapse my love." he laughed against her skin.

Caroline closed her eyes as he caressed her body, her hair was straight tonight and although he missed the curls he still found her irresistible and surely he would get used to the new look soon enough, he moved all of her hair to one side and then planted hot kisses along her neck, he trailed a hand across her bare shoulders in love with the strapless dress and left a kiss just where his fingers had been.
The loud compassed music along with the lust surrounding them triggered all of Caroline's senses, she could blame the hand caressing her or the way she felt him tense and grow in desire for her while she slowly buckled against him but she was unquestionably ready to take things to another level.

Caroline kept on dancing with him but she also kept her eyes on a tall woman with dark coal hair that was dancing ahead of them, she had a partner with her but she was far more interested in what was happening with Caroline and Klaus.
Caroline smiled at her while lowering her body just a little, the movement was sizzling and the woman couldn't take her eyes away from Caroline, she only drifted long enough to catch Klaus' aroused face as he guided Caroline's sexy moves with his hands.

Like a magnet she felt pulled to them, attracted to this mysterious chemistry that they shared and by God she wanted to be part of it, it was surreal how happy she was when Caroline pulled away from Klaus enough to dance with her, never before had she danced with a woman like this and yet she was flirting with Caroline and touching her like she had waited all her life to do this.
Caroline lifted her long lashes and revealed her red eyes, the image didn't scare the human, instead she wasn't breathing evenly with excitement and she barely whimpered as Caroline gently gripped her neck sinking her fangs slowly into her neck, she pulled the blood careful not to hurt her and the girl fell quietly into a moan of pleasure as Klaus took her wrist and fed from her as well.

The girl was experiencing a high that wasn't easy to explain and she certainly wasn't about to start trying now, she only felt sadness when they both pulled away from her, she was light-headed but unfairly stirred up as they kissed ignoring her completely.
Klaus and Caroline kissed pressed against each other, dominant tongues and deep moans that were swallowed by a series of kisses that didn't require air, he took charge of a commanding kiss but it was Caroline who set the nature of their night and she majestically broke away from his famished lips and his hungry hands.

She could feel his entire body trembling in raw passion that needed to be unleashed very soon and she was going to leave him spent once she had her way with him but for now the Ivory Queen had other plans.
She took Klaus' hand and then the girl's, it was time to take this blood party somewhere private.
