Justin, Jordan, and Ava looked at each other.
"One of us is going to have to stay," Justin said. "And it's not going to be Jordan."
"Agreed," Ava replied. "It's either going to be you or me."
Justin stepped closer to Ava.
"Do I have your word that you'll take care of Jordan?" Justin asked Ava.
She nodded her head.
"I'd do anything for him," Ava said, patting Jordan on the head. "I hope you didn't ask that for the reason I think you did."
"Don't give yourself up," Ty Lee shouted, looking at Justin.
"What do you propose?" Justin asked.
"Give Mario and me some more time to think about an alternative."
"We only have an hour, and most of that is probably going to be up before you decide anything."
Justin opened the room door, Satori and Bowsette sitting in the hallway.
"Looks like we have a princess," Satori said, laughing.
"Are you sure you're the final choice?" Bowsette asked.
"Yes," Justin answered. "Is that a problem?"
"No. We're just gonna need a bigger bathroom door."
Jordan, Ava, Mario, and Ty Lee walked out of the bedroom, Satori then clapping her hands and standing up.
"Good selection," Satori said. "My daughter is too murderous and the little boy is too aggressive."
"He's ripe for a Super Crown," Bowsette said, smacking Justin on the behind and looking at the entourage behind him. "A deal's a deal. Satori, send them back to Earth."
Satori cast a portal inches away from Mario and Ty Lee, who were the furthest away from Justin. Mario was the first to go through the portal, doing so nanoseconds after it was cast. Ty Lee followed soon after, but Jordan instead tugged at the leg of his brother.
"I can't leave you behind," Jordan said.
"We could always have two princesses for Bowsette to hang out with," Satori said with a smirk.
Justin, Jordan, and Ava fired small beams at her, causing Satori to be pushed back against the wall.
"Killjoys," the clearly battered Satori said.
"Jordan," Justin said, looking down at his four-year-old brother, "think about all the bad things that are gonna happen if I don't do this. You heard them. We all could have been turned back to princesses if we tried to escape in our entirety. I'm doing what's good for the team. This way you can go back to Earth, fight bad guys with Ava and Ty Lee, and go to school and not be bogged down by having to be someone's buddy in an alternate dimension. I'm doing this for you because I don't want this for you."
Ava grabbed Jordan and ran through the portal, Jordan remaining speechless as he furthered in distance from Justin, who threw a thumbs up at him. When the two exited, they found themselves laying in a patch of grass with Ty Lee and Mario. There was gray concrete a few feet away from them and cars were passing on it.
"We're back home," Ty Lee said.
"Why did Mario come?" Ava asked.
"I'm going to come up with a plan," Mario answered. "There's no way I'm letting those bad guys get the last jump on your friend."
Jordan placed his hands over his eyes, as though trying to hide his expression from everyone else. Ava hugged him.
"We're going to get him back soon," Ava said. "We just need to figure out how we're gonna get back to Mario's world."
"I wouldn't be surprised if we saw Satori again," Ty Lee said. "Whenever she shows up, we can just try to get her guard down and make a jump through that portal."
Meanwhile, Justin, Bowsette, and Satori had moved to the top of the castle, which was made of a thicker gold than the outside. For each of their steps, there was a slight crackling noise, accompanied by the sound made while Satori was rubbing the Super Crown with the "B" on it. Justin stepped over to the ledge, inches away from falling off the castle.
"This looks kind of dangerous," Bowsette said, turning to Satori. "Why is any of this necessary?"
"I want your new friend to be coronated before the entire Mushroom Kingdom," Satori shouted.
Satori placed the crown on Justin's head, triggering a wave of sparks that consumed him in their entirety.
"I don't remember that happening when he and the others put on the regular Super Crowns," Bowsette said.
"This time we're getting something a lot stronger," Satori replied. "It may not wipe away his old memories, but it'll give me time to get to work on something that does."
"That won't be necessary. I don't want a clean slate version of him that can't go back to who he is if I ever get tired."
The flash ended with that last sentence from Bowsette. Justin now had horns protruding from his head and black wristbands with spikes on them. He was wearing a black dress that came down just above his knees with a blue diamond in the middle of the chest and matching high heels. His fingernails were black and he had developed breasts.
"He looks like...ME," Bowsette said.
"Who do you think I based that Super Crown off of?" Satori asked, placing her left hand to point at Justin. "I give you Justette."
"So he's female now?"
"Obviously. Didn't your Super Crown make you female?"
"It did."
Bowsette placed her arm on Justette's shoulder.
"How do you feel?" Bowsette asked.
"Very hungry," Justette answered. "Let's have a feast."
"As you wish."
The two Super Crown wearers walked downstairs and into the dining room, where they sat across from each other as Satori conjured multiple meals and placed them on the table. One meal was a large chicken which Justette bit into aggressively while Bowsette watched, holding her fork in hand as though unable to focus on any of the food so long as she witnessed Justette's first time eating. When the chicken was fully consumed by Justette, she let out a large belch that Bowsette blushed at.
"I think I'm going to like my new friend," Bowsette said, turning to Satori.
