Another quick one I guess. I wanted to make it further into the major plot development of the show. Sorry if it isn't that stimulating.

"Hey are you coming to the fake wake tonight for Frank?" Ian asked as the two walked to work. "I'll walk with you of course."

"Why not?" Natalie said. "All I'd be doing anyway is listen to Marina and the Diamonds till I can't hear anything."

"You really need to stop doing that."

"Whatever," Natalie smiled before kissing Ian's cheek quickly and running inside to Scoops.

She found Lexi behind the counter dissecting a Milky Way candy bar.

"You okay there?" Natalie prodded with a cheeky grin.

Lexi rolled her eyes, "Yes, I'm just reading the nutritional facts."

"You know that's found on the back of the candy bar, right?"

"Alright fine, I was trying to open it without Joey hearing; you know how crazy he gets." Lexi said as she made a slight tear in the side.

"Right…JO—"

Lexi ran and covered Natalie's mouth. "You little bitch, shut your god damned mouth!"

Natalie smiled confidently, "He won't have even heard us. He emails you to come to his office for Christ's sake."

Lexi smiled as she let go of Natalie. "So…"

"So…what?"

"How are you and lover boy?"

"Oh shut up, you've never even seen us work together. We're fine, he's nice."

Lexi squealed, "You referred to each other as "we're". It's meant to be."

Natalie glared long and hard at Lexi until her smile vanished. "Whatever," Lexi said, "I'd just like this to be put on the record, when you two start dating it is all thanks to me."

Natalie practically ran out of Scoops during close. Lexi and she had tried their best to keep busy playing the radio as loud as possible and rearranging the candy counter about seven times. She couldn't wait to unwind at the Alibi Room where Ian told her to meet him.

As she made her way further down the street she noticed Ian had just made his way out of Kash & Grab. He seemed distraught, turning himself round in circles and kicking the ground. He was even unsure of his direction. Natalie ran towards him.

"Hey, hey," she said as she took his face in her hands. "Oh my god!" she exclaimed as she noticed the large red bruise on his face. "Are you okay? What happened?"

"Mickey Milkovich, oh and Linda."

"Wait, what?"

Ian began walking ahead of her as he pulled his coat on fully. "You heard it first here."

"Hold on," Natalie said as she grabbed a hold of his arm. "Start from the beginning."

"I went to Mickey's to get him to stop harassing Kash and one thing led to another…"

Natalie stared at him blankly.

"We did it."

Natalie couldn't speak and spent the majority of the next thirty seconds trying to control her lower jaw. "What are you saying about?" She couldn't even form a sentence properly.

"Again, you heard it here first. And that can never leave your lips. If Mandy found out—"

"Mandy?" exclaimed Natalie. "What about his father? Could you imagine that? Ian this is a whole new level of crazy."

The two continued walking as Ian explained that Linda had found out about her husband's gay affair.

"So you mean to tell me, she doesn't want a divorce because she doesn't want to "start over", wants another baby, is letting you keep your job and is letting him have what he wants in return?"

Ian nodded.

"What the actual fuck?"

"Just don't say anything, okay? I'm still trying to process all of this," Ian said as they kept the conversation as quiet as possible.

As the two walked into the Alibi Room, they were greeted by Lip, the last person Ian wanted to see in this situation. "Hey!"

"Take it they're gone." Ian said nonchalantly as Lip kept a hold on him, observing his face. Natalie averted her eyes in an attempt to keep from spilling the truth.

"Were you at a fight club?" Lip asked. He looked to Natalie, "She's got no marks so I'm assuming not."

Ian grabbed Lip's glass before patting him on the chest and walking off. Natalie stared off after him along with Lip who was just as worried for Ian, only completely clueless to the problem.

"Do you know anything?" he asked her.

"Even if I did, do you really think I'd tell you?" she asked before walking towards Ian.

So hopefully by the next chapter I'll have more of an idea of what my intentions are with this story. Hope you enjoyed this a little
