Kyoya's feeling something here, but it's not love. Mostly it's curiosity at something that he can't define, as well as an interest in anything that can make him feel something besides vague detachment or annoyance.

I don't own any of the characters or the storyline.

She couldn't be impressed.

Goodness knows the club tried. For a group that could normally impress their peers through the simple act of trying instant coffee, this was a bizarre turn of events and grated on their nerves.

Kaoru and Hikaru paraded their mother's best clothes designs. She simply announced that she wasn't a doll and didn't want to wear such fancy clothes.

Huni tried to ply her with elaborate cakes and candies. Harui would take a few bites but admit that she didn't really like sweets.

Tamaki tried to outdo himself with more and more elaborate sets for the host club. Harui muttered about waste and that she couldn't believe the girls fell for this stuff.

Mori was the most successful, showing his prowess by saving her from Tamaki and the twins more than once. Harui granted him a grateful smile, but there was still no awe.

Kyoya even tried, mentioning his family's hospitals and businesses, even taking her to his family's indoor resort. His careful ears picked up the words "Damn rich bastards".

The only thing that really seemed to impress her was when they would go out of their way to do something nice, to help someone. And strangely, the club found themselves doing it more often. This was not unusual, as Tamaki took his role as knight in shining armor quite seriously. What was unusual was how often the rest of the club volunteered their own services.

I would like to point out that one thing I like about the Ouran Host club is that although Haruhi is our main character, she's not the one that holds the club together. The leader, through it all, is Tamaki. She's just a member. Tamaki did not start helping people to impress her, he did it because that was who he was.
