Hello my ever wonderful lovelies. Baka-chan has returned from the awful lands of writers block. I even brought a new chapter with me as a apology gift... Though it wouldn't be much of a return from writers block without a new chapter I suppose.

Point is I typed something, so here it is.

Warning/: Recipe: 1 Winchester, 1 life full of daddy issues, 4 heaping scoops of all kinds of crazy, a cup of stale coffee, and a pinch... I SAID A PINCH... okay fine the entire supply of homoerotic subtext. End result: Swearing and a show that does not belong to me. Credit goes to our wonderful creators. Praise them for they are equal parts satan and god.

Hope you enjoy it!.

Also reviews everyone, please.

On the other side of the forest, in the Winchester home, things were a lot more peaceful than in the castle. In the 3 days following Michael's departure a whole lot of crazy had happened. To start it off Lucifer didn't take to well to being put in timeout and it was found that he had secretly turned all the heaters in the house to high, causing everyone to nearly die of heatstroke, not literally. Things proved to be more difficult when it came time to go to sleep. The house had a total of four bedrooms. Their parent's room, Dean's room, a guest room, and Sam's nursery which Dean was had banned anyone from going in. Sam adamantly refused to sleep anywhere near his doubles, who he found to be extremely annoying despite the fact that they were him. So in the end Sam and Dean slept in Dean's old room, Dean on the bed and Sam on a homemade cot, the doubles were all in the guest room, and their parent's old room would be used for weapon's practice since Sam wouldn't let Dean go outside because he was afraid Dean might be spotted by a passing guard.

More problems arose in the morning when it became apparent that only Dean knew how to cook properly and the only thing he would make was pancakes and bacon. That caused an argument about healthy eating and all that jazz that Dean was able to win only by the fact that if the Sams didn't eat what he cooked then they would just have to go hungry. After that thought things slowly worked their way into a steady pattern.

Upon the insistence of his doubles Sam went to work in the mines each day, coming back around evening. Meanwhile Dean stayed at the house, cooking or practicing with their new weapons while he waited for his brother to return so they could talk strategies. It had been decided that they would wait another 3 days to go after Crowley because it was rumored that he would be going on an excursion to a sister kingdom to the west. Both Winchesters were convinced killing Crowley was the way out of the tale, because as with most things involving childhood the Winchesters had only basic knowledge of fairy tales and seemed to have forgotten that Snow White wasn't Miss Weapons Specialist and for thus reason couldn't have killed her stepmother to end her problems. They reasoned that if Crowley was dead there would be no one to try and poison Dean with an apple, something Dean had scoffed at because he "didn't eat apples". Though it was also Dean who was convinced of the fact that Crowley believed he was dead because he didn't have a magic mirror to tell him other wise, Sam on the other hand was not so sure. Everyday he was reluctant to leave and when he did he warned Dean to not take anything from anyone.

Sam had done the same thing that day, though this time he did have to throw a pillow at Dean who was lounging on the couch, pointedly ignoring Sam.

"Alright jesus Sam, don't get your panties in a twist. I heard you the first 50 times." Dean muttered, throwing the pillow back at Sam.

That one earned him one of Sam's special edition bitch faces. "Dean you aren't taking this seriously enough. You could die!"

"I know Sam, and I am taking this seriously. Are you?" Dean asked.

Sam looked confused, "what do you mean?"

"I'm not the only one this book is trying to gank. Its after you and Cas too, wherever that asshat is." Dean reminded.

The space between Sam's eyebrows crinkled, like it does whenever he got worried or thought to hard. With all his focus on keeping Dean alive he had completely forgotten his life was at stake too. "You're right," he admitted," I guess we're just gonna both have to b-"

"I love to interrupt this wondrous moment, but we need to leave Sam or we won't reach the mines till noon." Lucifer drawled from where he waited with the other doubles by the doorway.

Shooting a glare at Lucifer for interrupting him Sam said his goodbyes to Dean, and then left the house surrounded by the other hims.

On his own once more Dean continued to laze about, getting up only after he had finished off his beer. Looking outside longingly he side and trudged off the his parents old bedroom to practice with weapons for an hour. When he felt sufficiently bored with the weapons he had a small pity party over the fact he hadn't seen his baby in for a few days, and then went off to the kitchen to make a soup for dinner.

It was about noon when the knock resounded throughout the house.

Cautiously Dean collected one of the weapons they had hidden around the house, it was a lovely looking tool thats purposed was to crush the skull of its victims. Weapon in hand Dean approached the door.
A glance through the window caused Dean to drop his weapon and open the door immediately.

"You're alive..."

Bye! Hope I see your reviews *squinty Cas eyes*.
