Disclaimer: The FMA characters are not mine of course.

So, I see that the previous chapter did pretty well!

And to respond to you, AllyGal123: Haha, well, Bradley did interrupt anything else Ed might've had to say after he said "Envy, what...?".

As for Lord Nitro: Oh gosh, Nitro! When I saw that review for the first time, you had my laughing so hard xD

Now, shall we continue?

Chapter 8: A Sleepover At The Elric's

Once Ed was about to open the door, Envy ran in front of him and held it for him.

"Envy, I was going to..." Said Ed, only to have Envy put his finger on the younger teens lips.

"It's fine, Chibi, I've got it," Said Envy, motioning Ed to his own house.

Ed walked in and Envy followed.

"Al, I'm home. I brought someone from school," Said Ed loud enough so his brother could hear him.

"Coming, Brother," Said Al, coming from his room upstairs. As the two teens waited for a couple of seconds, Envy got a text from Greed reading:

"Envy, where are you?"

Envy typed his password, and responded to the text:

"I'm at the Elric house"

He instantly got a response back:

"Why?"

Envy typed:

"Because I'm 18, Greed"

"But you live under MY roof"

"Greed, you do realise that Ed is one of my few friends, right?"

"I get that. But you should've asked me first! I would've said yes anyway"

Once Envy finished reading the text and put his phone away, he saw Ed was staring at him.

"Oh, my Uncle texted me," Said Envy.

"Uncle? What happened to your parents?" Asked Ed, only to have his brother walk down the stairs.

"So, I see you brought home a lady friend," Said Al in a joking tone with a small smile.

"I'm a guy," Said Envy in a bored tone.

"Oh...sorry, my mistake. I'm Alphonse Elric, and you are?" Asked Al, holding his hand out.

"I'm Envy Calvi, nice to meetcha," Said Envy, shaking Al's hand.

Once the two stopped shaking hands, Al said, "So, Envy, do you have any foods you like to eat in particular?"

"Anything without meat," Said Envy.

"Envy, you take a seat on the couch in the other room, I'll take your stuff and bring them to my room," Said Ed, holding his hand out for Envy's bag, to which Envy gave to Ed.

Ed walked up the stairs while Envy walked to the living room to his left.

Once Envy took a seat on the Elric's household couch, he grabbed his phone from his pocket, unlocked his phone, then started playing a game to pass the time.

Meanwhile, once Ed reached his room and opened the door, he came to a sudden realisation...he only had one bed in his room.

"Looks like I'll have to sleep on the floor..." Muttered Ed as he laid his and the older teen's bags on his floor.

Once Ed took a minute to breathe, he walked out of his room and walked down the stairs, and said, "Envy, I'm back,"

Envy put his phone on sleep mode, and then looked up.

"Welcome back, Chibi!" Said Envy, putting his phone in his pocket.

"Thanks," Said Ed, who took a seat on the couch. "So, tonight, you can sleep in my bed, and I'll sleep on the floor."

Envy moved towards Ed with a grin, and said, "Why can't we sleep together?"

"Envy, I like you as a friend right now. Before I can consider the possibility of getting together, I think we need a bit of time," Said Ed, seeing Envy's grin fade away.

"But, when I kissed you, you didn't seem to have much of an issue with it," Said Envy, with a disappointed look on his face. "And also, I like you, in a romantic sense. To be honest, you're actually the only person that I've ever felt these sorts of feelings for. I also personally think we've spent enough time to know each other well enough to be in a relationship."

Ed took a second to think, he had a feeling that Envy did have some feelings for him, however, he was originally unsure.

"Envy..." Ed started to say, but Envy gave the younger teen another quick kiss.

"That's the most proof of my feelings that I can show you, Chibi," Said Envy, backing up. "If you don't want to be my boyfriend, I understand."

"Envy, I...I'll give you an answer tonight, okay? I need a bit of time to think," Said Ed, looking a bit confused.

"Okay, Chibi. I'm at least glad that you're considering the possibility," Said Envy with a relieved tone.

After a moment of silence between the two teens, Al walked into the room with a bowl of chips and two cups of Cola, and set them on a coffee table that was in front of the couch.

"Before I head back to the kitchen, do you guys mind if I check the news?" Asked Al politely.

"No, go ahead," Said Ed.

"I personally don't care," Said Envy, grabbing his phone from his pocket again, resuming the game he was playing minutes ago.

Al grabbed the remote from the coffee table, turned the TV on, and switched the channel to the local news, which had another report about another girl who died in the area.

"According to the Officers, the girl has been identified as 17 year old Trisha Saba, a student from Central High School. It has been noted that there is no trace of her lungs," Said a Reporter on the TV. "But, the style of the killing is very similar to the previous girl who was killed earlier in the week."

"Wait a minute...that girl was in our class!" Said Ed, now even more confused.

"You knew her?" Asked Al curiously.

"She made fun of your brother a lot in the short time we knew her, so, he knew her in more of a victim of bulling sort of way," Said Envy, not bringing up the prank that he and Ed pulled earlier.

"I see..." Said Al, turning off the TV. He was getting sick of hearing about that kind of news. "Why can't these killings just stop?"

Al placed the remote back on the coffee table, and headed back to the kitchen.

When Al was out of the room, Ed got up, started heading to his room, and said, "I'm going to grab a book, okay, Envy?"

"Sure," Said Envy, looking up from his phone.

After what felt like forever, Envy finally saw Ed come down from the stairs, with a science book in his hand.

"Not to sound rude, but, do you need to study that for one of your classes?" Asked Envy curiously, while putting his phone back in his pocket.

"No, I just like science," Said Ed with a smile.

"I would make a chemistry joke, but, let's be honest, those are kinda generic," Said Envy, returning a smile to the younger teen.

Ed started to laugh a bit, then said, "Envy, since when were you this witty?"

"I've always been witty. Sure, I'm not the most social guy out there, but, I have plenty of jokes in my mind. Some are dirtier than others, though," Said Envy with a slight laugh.

After a minute of laughing, Envy and Ed heard the front door open.

"Ed, Alphonse, I'm home from work," Said Hohenheim, walking into the living room. "Oh, Edward. I see you've got a girlfriend! What's her name?"

"Hohenheim, Envy's a he, not a she," Said Ed with an annoyed tone, rolling his eyes. "Besides, I'm not exactly sure what our relationship is at this point..."

"Oh. Well, if you want to date him, go ahead. There is one catch, though," Said Hohenheim.

"What is it?" Said Ed.

"Uh...I'm sitting right here..." Said Envy.

"Sorry, Envy," Said Ed.

"Envy, if you harm my son, you're not going to have a good time. Got it?" Said Hohenheim sternly.

"Got it," Said Envy.

"Good," Said Hohenheim, holding his hand out. "My name's Hohenheim Elric. Nice to meet you Envy."

Envy took Hohenheim's hand, shook it, and said, "Hohenheim...wait a minute...my uncle was your college roommate!"

"Greed Harris is your uncle? Wow, what a small world! Now, I'm going to check up on Alphonse. You two behave while I'm gone," Said Hohenheim with a smile and headed to the kitchen.

After an hour of Ed reading his book, and Envy play in his game passed, Al let the two teens know that it was time for supper.

Envy paused his game then put his phone into his pocket, while Ed closed his book and put it next to the bowl of chips.

Once the two teens reached the kitchen to see Hohenheim sitting at the dinner table, with a plate that had some pulled pork on it.

Al placed a plate with some pulled pork where Ed was going to sit, and then he placed a plate with a veggie burger and some fries where Envy was going to sit (next to Edward).

The two took their seats, as Al grabbed a plate with his own food, set it down, then grabbed some cups, pouring water in said cups, setting them down next to everyone's plates, then he took his seat.

"So, Envy, do you have any hobbies?" Asked Hohenheim, taking a bite of his food.

"Yeah. I like to draw, I also dabble in writing," Said Envy, grabbing his veggie burger.

"Ah, so you're the artistic type," Said Hohenheim.

"Yep. Is that a bad thing?" Asked Envy.

"No. I mean, art IS important. It helps us cope in ways that can really be beneficial to the human psyche," Said Hohenheim.

"Right...you lost me at important..." Said Envy, taking another bite of his veggie burger.

Envy looked at Ed, who was chuckling slightly at that comment, and thus, putting a smile on his face.

After eating and talking for about 15 minutes, Envy and Ed headed to the younger teen's bed room.

Envy took a seat on the bed, while Ed pulled up a chair across from the older teen, and sat on it.

"So, Envy," Said Ed nervously.

"Yes, Chibi?" Said Envy, curiously.

"I thought about the possibility of us dating, and I'm open to giving it a chance," Said Ed.

As Envy's face lit up with joy, there was a quick second of silence. He got up, and brought the younger teen into a tight embrace, "Chibi, you don't know how happy hearing that makes me feel!"

"Envy...you're...choking me!" Gagged Ed.

"Oh, haha! Sorry! I guess I have a pretty strong grip..." Said Envy, letting go of Ed. "But, just remember, if you have any problems, I'll try my best to help you through them."

"Thank you, Envy," Said Ed, hugging the older teen's chest, only to receive a kiss from said teen.

Once the kiss broke, Envy said, "I love you, Chibi,"

"I love you too, Envy," Said Ed, falling onto his bed with Envy, only to cuddle with him.

After a few minutes, Ed fell asleep. If there was one thing Envy really wanted the most at that point in his life, he finally had it; a partner he genuinely loved.

As he felt the comfort of the younger teen on his chest, and he started to doze off himself, he came to the realisation that he never wanted that day to end.

Well, this chapter has been delayed for almost a year now (that's insane!), and I am sorry about that! I still have a basic outline of where I want the story to go, and we have the next arc coming up soon!

Just know, I'll probably be updating this story once a month, because I still need to sort out how I'm going to execute the future chapters.

But anyways, I hope you all enjoyed this chapter, it did take a lot of time and thinking, but, I do hope the wait was worth it! As for Homunculi at Hogwarts, that will be continued at some point, but, I don't know when.

At the moment, I can't think of anything else to say, so, I'll see you all again in around a month's time! See ya then!
