Scrapheap

"So Cliff, how does it feel to not be on the Berth anymore? " I amusedly asked my partner who was stretching, glad to be back in action.

"Feel good, and I'm glad to kick some tailpipe again." Cliffjumper said, slamming his fist together.

We soon walked into the main area to see Bulkhead and Bumblebee back from their mission to the artic. Oh scrap, it's THAT episode.

I surpassed the urge to shiver at the thought of those creepy bastard metal eaters. If you thought they looked worse on T.V. wait till you meet them in person.

"I told you Doc, we're fine." Bulkhead said irritated as he pulled a cable off his chassis. He made to get up but Ratchet stopped him.

"The only way to be certain your fine, Bulkhead, is to endure standard defrosting procedure." The CMO told the ex Wrecker. "You know prolonged exposure to Sub-zero conditions can cause permanent system damage."

"Ratchet," Optimus said as he and Arcee walked up, my wife getting comfortable in my arms. "Have you learned anything more about our Artic find?" Prime asked.

"Not yet." The CMO told his old friend, walking up to a screen showing the image of the pod. "The pod can't be opened while it's frozen solid."

"Reopen the Groundbridge." Optimus commanded, Ratchet did so. "Arcee, Bladewolf and I will search for any clue which might explain the origin of our Artic find."

"Only until your sensors sounds." Ratchet said as me and my Wife stood beside our leader. I know it's cruel, but I don't want to be here for Scraplets to much on. "Remember, once your core temperatures drop into the blue zone," our Autobot insignia flashed blue, minds was on my shoulder. System failures aren't likely, their imminent. "

Soon Bumblebee and Bulkhead came in with the kids. Miss us, Doc 'Bot?" Miko asked.

Ratchet groaned before looking at Optimus. "Shouldn't they be in school?" He asked.

"It's a Saturday, Ratchet." I said in amusement.

"Yeah, so we have the whole weekend off, to spend with you." The girl said excitedly while Ratchet groaned again. Cliffjumper and I chuckled, getting a glare from the CMO.

"I wasn't expecting carpool, what gives Arcee?" Jack asked, walking up to his guardian.

"Tag team Jack, it's my turn for exploration duty with my husband." Arcee said, smiling at ms.

"Oh too bad, it's a beautiful day for a ride, I'd hate for you to feel guilty for leaving me indoors." Jack said teasingly, trying to come along.

"Artic exploration duty, kid." I said in amusement as I put an arm around my wife's waist.

"Indoors, where it's warm." Jack immediately said before walking off. Arcee and I shook our heads in amusement.

"The Artic?" Raf asked, walking up to us. "I've always wanted to see snow." He smiled.

"I would invite you to join, Rafael. But the conditions are much too extreme, even for we Autobots." Optimus said.

"I understand." Raf said, a bit disappointed. I decided to cheer him up.

"How about I bring you back a snowball?" I asked, immediately making him smile.

"That would be awesome." The kid said, I smiled and followed Optimus along with Arcee. My wife was giving me a smile.

"What?" I asked.

"You. Cheering him up like that, you'd make a great father one day." I smiled at that and held my wife close

"And you'd make a great mother." I said, making her chuckle before we came out the other side of the Groundbridge. "So what's the plan, Optimus?" I asked, my Optics squinting at the snow storm.

"Spread out, we can cover more ground." Optimus said. We nodded and split up in different directions. I held my arm up to face to block some of the snow as I trudged though the deep part of it before climbing a large rock and onto the rip.

I narrowed my Optics and looked around for anything related the the Scraplets pod. A snowstorm began picking up heavily and I quickly commed Optimus and Arcee. "Guys, a heavy Snowstorm is picking up, be careful."

"Understood." Optimus replied

"Got it babe." Arcee replied.

I deployed Grimlock's shield and slammed it into the ground when the storm hit and nearly blew me back. About a few minutes passed before the wind died down but the Strom didn't

I shook the snow off and kept my shield out before continuing to walk above the rock before jumping down into the snow. I then heard a beeping and saw my sensors beeping, shit

"Arcee, Bladewolf, what's your status? " Optimus said on the Comlink, right on time

"My sensors going off."

Mine too, guess we should call base before we get turned into giant icicles." I replied after my Wife. Soon Optimus spoke saying we had to regroup as Base wasn't answering, oh scrap.

A few minutes later, Me, Optimus, and Arcee were walking through the snow, the storm had picked up again and right now my Optics were barely working.

"Optimus to base, do you read? Optimus asked only to get more static. Arcee fell beside me and I quickly picked her up as Optimus joined us.

"Are you sure a nice long drive wouldn't help? I hear Miami's beautiful this time of year." Arcee said.

"The nearest temperate climate is too distant Arcee. Attempting to reach it will expend too much energy and hasten the freezing process." Optimus explained.

"Then we must find shelter, at least until Ratchet sends for us, which we know he will." I said, the two nodded in agreement and we quickly went to find shelter.

A few minutes later saw us resting under a ledge of sorts. I was laying down on my back and Arcee was against my side, I felt my vision getting blurry and soon I was unconscious.

When I opened my Optics, I looked to see myself in a familiar place, the same area I met Primus.

"Welcome, young one." Primus appeared with a smile on his face.

"Primus. Why am I here? Have I finally joined the Allspark?" I was expecting a better way to die.

Primus shook his head with a soft chuckle. "No, it's not your time yet, not for a long while. I brought you here to inform you that something is beginning to stir from it's long sleep. It's not Unicron, but someone else. I can't tell you who, only that you've battled. "

I frowned at that, I've battled many Cybertronians during the war for Cybertron, some had went missing so who could it be? I soon felt myself returning to consciousness just as I heard a scream that immediately woke me up.

"What the frag was that?!" I yelled, a Path Blaster deployed before looking to see myself in base.

"Scraplet?!" Jack asked, a crowbar in hand.

"SPIDER!" Miko shrieked, before running hands over her body. "Is it on me?!" Before running off screaming.

"Did she just scream like a little girl?" Bulkhead asked, I scoffed

"She is a girl, Bulkhead, what's your excuse? Remember the tunnels under the sea of rust?" I smirked, making him shiver at the memory. That was a time we encountered scraplets.

"You just had to remind me of that." He muttered, I chuckled before seeing the spider and rolled my optics at how small it was.

"For the love of Primus." I groaned and blasted the little shit to pieces. Meeting Airachnid made me hate spiders.

"Is it dead?" Miko peeked out.

"No, he just shrugged off my shots and is crawling towards you." I said sarcastically.

"Hey! I have Arachnophobia, you know?" Miko glared up at me.

"And I have Shotaphobia." I retorted before a wrench suddenly hit the side of my head, making Cliffjumper laugh from his position on a berth.

"AND I HAVE A HOLE IN MY FLOOR!" Ratchet yelled, glaring at me. I rolled my Optics and fell back onto the berth.

What a day.

And that's Scrapheap done with.
