Chapter 7 – Dress
"Basically that's it Lily. There isn't much I can do for you. You just be you. Follow your instincts."
Alice is talking to me while a lady does my hair. We decide for a simple cute side braid, ornamented with tiny flowers.
The wedding is being held at our home. There's a beautiful structure outside, a lot of white roses (my favorites) fill the decoration. The morning air is warm and comfortable.
My hands are sweating.
I've put the dress on. It's actually happening.
"Alice I just worry I don't know what to do and then I'm lousy and he gets sick of me and what am I gonna do about-"
"Lily! Calm down! It's going to be fine. Don't worry." She is laughing at me. Cool. "You might even enjoy a little bit despite all the pain."
"Ha ha."
"Seriously. You'll start enjoying it after a few times, so don't stress much about tonight. You're both new to this." My hair is done, so is the light make up. "Now push those thoughts away, let's enjoy your wedding." She smiles sweetly.
"Okay." I get up and look at myself in the mirror. Wow, I look pretty. Simple, sparkly and cute.
Maria enters the room. "Oh my God!" Her eyes fill with tears. "Look at you. Oh!" She hugs me and I feel like crying too.
"Ok, let's go! People are waiting. Your man looks so nervous." Emmeline calls us. I try to smile but I'm nervous as well.
We get down the stairs where my Father is waiting for me. He sees me and his eyes water.
"You're the most beautiful bride I've seen since your Mother." He tells me as he takes my arm. The girls head outside for theirs seats.
"Thank you daddy." I'm almost crushing the bouquet in my hand.
"Are you ready?" Father asks me.
"Yes."
He walks me down the aisle.

It was lovely. Simple and classic. I loved every second of it.
As James and I dance, he whispers "You're beautiful". I melt.
I dance whit my father, with Sirius and with Remus. James was right; I love Remus.
"You know, I've never seen him like this." Remus tells me as we dance.
"Like what?"
"So happy and carefree… He used to despise the idea of an arranged marriage. Now he's head over heels for you." Remus gives me a warm smile.
I blush. "I hope you're right. I've loved him since day one." I feel so comfortable saying it to this boy I've just met.
"Oh I am. Trust me. This is a new James. I like him better than the old one."
"Can I have this dance?" It's Amos.
"Yeah… Sure…" Remus doesn't seem that sure. He looks over his shoulder and leaves.
"I'm so glad you came." I smile at Amos as we sway.
"I wouldn't miss it. I had to see it with my own eyes." He laughs. He shakes his head and dramatically sighs. "Shame. I was hoping you'd run away with me."
I laugh with him. "Well there's still time. Is your carriage nearby?"
Someone coughs beside us. It's my husband.
"I'll have this dance." He's not asking.
"Of course." Amos smiles at James. James doesn't return it.
He hugs my waist and puts me closely. "Why is this ponce here?" He narrows his eyes.
"James. Come on." I put my hands around his neck. "He's my friend. You have no reason to be angry."
"Hm." He doesn't look convinced. "Right. Friend."
"Are you seriously jealous?"
"Yes." He answers quickly and looks directly into my eyes.
"I just married you." I laugh and show him the ring he just put in my finger.
He smiles. "Yes you did."

Then when it's over it's time to say goodbye to my parents and head to my new home. We hug and cry together. Although I'm sad I'm leaving forever I'm so happy and eager to begin this new chapter of my life.
When we get there, I can't describe my reaction. Our home is so cozy and cute. It's not fancy, it's exactly what I've always wanted. My heart is exploding.
"Do you like it?" James is watching my face as I admire our house.
"I love it. It's perfect." I smile at him. He relaxes as I say it.

(this part is not in 1st person. That would be too weird. Hope you like it)
Their bedroom is comforting. The brown walls and the red furniture give a warm air to the space.
They are both nervous. She sits on their bed. "I need to know. Have you ever?"
"No." He answers. "I have never."
He sits beside her and takes her hand. "Are you nervous?"
"Yes."
"Me too."
They smile at each other.
He runs a hand through her hair. She shivers.
"You are so beautiful. I wanted to take this dress off of you all night." He admits and she blushes a beautiful shade of red.
He kisses her sweetly, not rushing anything. They have all night.
And she kisses him back, putting all her love into the kiss.
He lays her back in the bed, positioning himself on top of her. His hands caress her cheeks, her neck, and her waist. Her legs wrap around him.
"I love you." He whispers against her lips.
Her eyes water. "I love you too. So much."
Trembling hands start to take clothes off. Her tiny hands at his shirt. He sits her up and takes her dress down her body.
She feels shy under his look. Her curves are delicate, her skin kissed by many freckles.
"You're perfect." He says with a hoarse voice. "Don't be shy."
She takes his shirt off, runs her hands over his bare shoulders and back. He watches her as she explores his skin.
He takes her by the waist and lays her on the bed. He kisses her neck, sucking and blowing softly. She moans his name, running her hands through his messy hair. Suddenly she pulls his head up and kisses him fiercely. He chuckles.
She takes his glasses and tosses it around the room.
And then there are no clothes left. Their nude bodies lay together, touching, caressing, kissing. He sucks her breasts and her belly. She sobs in pleasure.
He looks her in the eyes. She nods, answering the silent question.
He's on top of her, positions himself in her entrance. Her shaking hands rest on his shoulders.
And then there's pain, and pleasure, and all at once. He kisses her softly and moves slowly, afraid to hurt her. She shuts her eyes tightly. Her teeth sink in his shoulder to muffle her scream.
"Are you…okay?" He's sweating. His forehead resting against hers.
"Yes" her voice is barely a whisper. "Don't stop."
He kisses her and quick's up the pace. Her hands pull his hair hard. His mouth covers her moans.
It goes on forever.
When it's over she rests her head on his chest, his hands caressing her back. The sheets and the pillows tossed around them.
They both fall asleep with a smile in their faces.
