Hello! Welcome to the second to last chapter of Uzumaki Sensei! To be perfectly honest I'm running out of ideas for this story and so I have to cut it short. Besides once I close this off I can focus on the other stories I have in motion. Also, the faster I finish everything off the sooner I can start a new story! Speaking of which if you guys have a preference for what story I should start after I finish all the in progress stuff not including: Prophecy of a Legacy then please let me know and I'll think about it.

I am Master's true student!

Naruto huffed in amusement as he noted Himawari trying to stalk him. "She's got a ways to go still." He mused as he pretended not to notice her or the girls following her. "Still…she's gotten a lot better compared to that girl who managed to get stuck on the village gates."

"Oh my." Naruto blinked in surprise when an old man's voice caught his attention "You don't see that every day." The man noted pointing out a large kite flying towards the village. "My, that reminds me of how young Himawari-Chan showed up."

Naruto nodded his head absently as he turned and began heading towards the gates. "Come on Himawari let's go check it out. You too girls." He called out as he continued walking ignoring the squawks of the girls who had thought they were finally able to hide their presence from the blonde.

"How'd you know I was there?" Himawari asked as she caught up to Naruto who was walking leisurely towards the gates with his hands in his pockets.

"Himawari…" Naruto just smiled as he patted her on the head. "If you can't even figure that out then you're hopeless."

"Hey…" Himawari pouted as the others caught up. "Is that a single person kite?" she asked with a raised eyebrow as the flying object grew closer. "Ah she's going to get caught by the wire net and crash."

True to her words the kite hit a wire and crashed into the gate. Naruto sighed tiredly as he began making his way over to the crank in order to lower the gates. However, before he could the person riding the kite pulled something causing the kite to fold in on itself allowing them to jump to the ground without trouble. "Not bad." Naruto noted simply catching the person's attention. The ninja was young roughly around the age of the girls. Although he couldn't see their face he could tell by their body type that it was a girl.

"Are you Uzumaki Naruto?" the girl asked causing Naruto to raise an eyebrow while the girls tensed. Seeing the blonde nod his head the girl performed Dogeza and shouted "Please take me as your student!"

"Now wait a minute I'm Master's student!" Himawari cried out stepping in front of Naruto protectively causing said blonde to blink in surprise as he watched everything with a bewildered look. "Just who are you?" Himawari asked cautiously as the girl tensed hearing that Naruto already had a student.

"I am Rumina." The girl stated seriously as she raised her head. "I am a child of shadows and I was told that there is no better teacher in the shadow arts then Uzumaki Naruto."

Naruto scratched his head "If you're talking about the ninja arts…than maybe?" he mused while looking up in thought. "As for actually manipulating shadows I think you'd be better off talking to a Nara." He shrugged his shoulders. "In any case I don't take students." He declared before walking off.

"Master please wait!" Rumina called out as she chased after him followed quickly by Himawari.

The remaining girls hummed as they glanced at each other. "So…do you think the new girl will take Himawari's place?" Yusura asked quietly while looking at the others.

"Unlikely." Shikimi noted while adjusting her glasses. "Even if Rumina was the better student Uzumaki-sensei is too fond of Himawari to replace her."

"Besides…" Azami began as she placed her hands behind her head. "Uzumaki-sensei hasn't taught any of his ninja techniques and most likely won't. Like he said he only taught Himawari proper forms."

Himeji grinned "That girl was definitely good though Arisu." She grinned as she gripped her sword. "I think she'll be able to take Himawari's spot as Sensei's personal student."

"Is that a bet I'm hearing?" Azami asked with a smirk.

"What are the stakes?" Shikimi asked as her glasses gleamed in the light.

"Loser does winners' homework for a week." Himeji declared confidently as Yusura laughed.

"You're as cunning as a fox Himeji!" she declared before standing beside her. "I'm on your team!" she cheered causing Himeji to nod her head.

"I guess that makes Azami and myself the other team." Shikimi noted simply as a small smirk began to form on her lips. "Now then, rules?"

Azami grinned as she folded her arms. "Of course there's only one right?" she asked grinning from ear to ear. "Don't get caught by either Himawari, or Rumina. If you do you can no longer help."

"Agreed Arisu!" Himeji nodded her head resolutely as all four girls agreed to the terms before dashing off.

"Interesting." Naruto muttered as he stepped out of the shadows. "Boss is going to get a kick out of this." He mused before dispelling himself in a puff of smoke revealing that he was nothing more than a shadow clone.

Naruto hummed as the clone's memories hit him. "So they're making a bet out of this whole thing huh?" he mused silently as he ignored the two girls trying to get his attention. "I'm sorry did you say something?" he asked finally turning to address the two girls competing with each other to become his apprentice.

"I was asking you to reconsider on not taking me on as your apprentice!" Rumina explained earnestly. "Please I'm begging you, make me your student!" she bowed her head once more.

"Why do you want to be my student so badly?" Naruto eventually asked as he motioned for Himawari to be silent.

"Your name has become synonymous with the word hero." Rumina began getting a nod from Naruto who knew that already. "Frankly put master, you're the most famous Ninja of all time. All of the clans within and out of the Elemental Countries want you affiliated with them. However, when you agreed to leave everything and remain independent my clan concluded that the best we could hope for is for one of our own to learn from you and then teach the others."

"You're aware that my agreement was to not teach anyone right." Naruto asked seriously pointing out the biggest flaw in her plan.

"No you agreed to not teach village techniques or share village secrets." She denied simply. "You've never agreed not to teach any of your personal techniques."

"You're asking to learn my father's techniques…" Naruto wasn't sure whether to be angry at her for suggesting such a thing or applaud the size of her balls considering she had asked him with a straight face to share his family secrets.

"Of course, there will be compensation." Rumina promised as she bowed her head hoping not to offend him. "We can promise you the revival of your clan."

"And how pray tell…can you do that?" Naruto asked not liking where the conversation was going.

"We have many able bodied women willing to bare your children myself included." She explained still bowing. Himawari gasped in shock while Naruto could feel the shock emanating from the surrounding area noting that the other girls had gotten close enough to hear Rumina's words.

Naruto's face lit up in bright red. "I…I don't even know what to say." He muttered as he covered his face with his right hand. "Do you even know what you're saying?" he shouted before turning away from them. "Go, I won't deal with a clan that forces a belief onto its children."

"None of us where forced or tricked, this decision was made of our own free will." Rumina countered catching Naruto's attention as Himawari stared at the girl with her mouth agape. "And as for your concern that I do not understand what I'm saying, I'm fully aware of how children are made." She pointed out without wavering.

"Just how old are you?" Naruto questioned with narrowed eyes.

"I will be turning eighteen this coming October." She replied seamlessly causing Naruto to groan as he palmed his face. "I am aware that this age is usually when Ninjas have completed their apprenticeship, but our clan believes that we are never too young to learn."

"I was hoping she'd be younger so I could use the morality excuse…" Naruto whispered silently to himself. "You're not going to give up are you?" he asked with a resigned tone of voice.

"No, I will not." Rumina declared intently. "You're line is too important to this world to let die out." She explained causing Himawari to look at him curiously. "If we can do our part to ensure that you're family line lives on then we will be happy."

"Now hold on a minute!" Himawari shouted as she stepped between the two. "Wouldn't Naruto-dono have to leave if he agreed to your terms?" she asked with narrowed eyes.

"Yes it would be for the best." Rumina nodded her head.

"How can we even trust you?" Himawari asked cautiously as she kept an eye out for any tricks or traps Rumina could pull out. "How do we even know anything you said is true?"

"The girl has a point." Naruto noted as he crossed his arms. "You don't really expect me to take your words for granted do you?" he asked while quirking an eyebrow.

"Would this suffice as proof?" Rumina questioned as she pulled off her face mask revealing the youthful appearance hidden beneath it.

"So you showed me your face, what of it?" Naruto asked with a small frown. In response Rumina disrobed completely baring herself to them. "Alright…I get it…" Naruto sighed as he pinched the bridge of his nose while Himawari panicked at the sight of the nude woman. "At the very least you believe in what you're doing."

"No way! Naruto-dono is still teaching us!" Himawari protested before Naruto could speak further. "His lessons in blending in with society have improved our information gathering skills beyond our wildest dreams! And you're going to try and take that away from us?" the young ninja in training shouted passionately causing Naruto to scratch his cheek in embarrassment while Rumina simply eyed her critically.

"And who are you exactly?" Rumina asked as she redressed herself.

"I'm Himawari, Naruto-dono's student!" she declared causing Naruto to sigh something incomprehensible.

"A student you say?" Rumina questioned with narrowed eyes.

"Yes I am, when Naruto-dono rescued me I swore to follow him!" Himawari declared hotly while the girls in hiding exchanged looks with one another.

"Then you're nothing more than a retainer?" Rumina clarified. "As expected of Uzumaki-sama already having a personal retainer."

"What…" Himawari muttered as Naruto palmed his face.

"Himawari, being an apprentice is different than being a retainer." Naruto muttered causing Himawari to blink in surprise. "It means that you'll follow me wherever I go, so if I decided to leave this academy you'd follow at my side."

"Oh…" Himawari muttered in confusion. "Isn't that even closer than a student?"

"Not really, it's a servant like role. Like a samurai to a lord." Naruto explained much to Rumina's amusement. "An apprentice lives under the same roof as the master learning everything from them."

"Oh…" Himawari muttered while scratching her head.

In response Naruto merely ruffled her hair before turning towards Rumina who looked green with envy. "As for you." He began catching her attention as she schooled her expression as if the flash of jealousy never existed. "I have no intention of settling down yet." He declared before turning around and walking off.

"Then please teach me!" Rumina called out running out and stepping in front of him once more. "I am ready to learn from you!"

"You forget." Naruto began as he looked over his shoulder at her. "I trained Konohamaru." He revealed with a cheeky grin. "I've already passed on my father's prized technique to a student of mine."

As the two girls chased after him once more a competitive spark between them as they glared at each other the other girls stepped out of their hiding spots. "I…don't really feel like interfering anymore." Shikimi noted simply as the others agreed with her.

"Way too heavy." Azami agreed as Yusura and Himeji shrugged their shoulders.

"Well…do you think she'll leave any time soon?" Yusura asked curiously as she watched the two girls argue with each about something or other while Naruto just ignored them both.

"Somehow…I don't think so." The girls turned to the voice as Naruto grinned at them. "Before you ask, I'm just a clone." He revealed before looking into the building. "Well…just ignore her for now." He suggested before looking up at the sky. "You girls have midterms coming up soon, get ready." The girls nodded their heads and dashed off leaving the clone of Naruto alone to his thoughts.
