Chapter Eight: Deadly Reunion

Right away, the person who had been stupid enough to grab Juuhachi-gou in such a fashion released her. The fool! She would teach them the price of their stupidity with their life. However, just as she turned and swung at whoever it was, she was surprised into shock when her fist had been caught by a gloved hand...and on the other side of that hand stood a familiar figure who was half a head shorter than she was. The Jinzouningen woman's eyes erupted with blue fire as she scowled at the person.

"What is the meaning of this, Vegeta!?" she snarled, just barely able to keep her voice from extending outside the room (which she noticed was the ship's Engine Room). It was bad enough that she was alone with him in that dark room as it was, she didn't want others to hear them and walk in asking questions.

"There's something I have to say to you," Vegeta replied. Nevertheless, it was quite clear Juuhachi-gou wasn't interested in anything he had to say.

"We have nothing to talk about!" Juuhachi-gou spat back. Aggressively, she wrenched her fist free from Vegeta's grip and shoved him into the wall. He glared at her ferociously.

"I only brought you in here to talk to you in private…" Vegeta hissed perilously. "But if that's how you want this to go..!"

"We could be flying right towards our death, you know."

"Perhaps, but it doesn't matter to me. I don't really have any reason to live for, anyway.*

The grimace on Amara's face tightened as she recalled her short conversation with Juuhachi-gou a little while ago when she came to ask how much further they had to go. *No reason to live for, huh? How ironic. She says that, and yet my reason for living now has become to destroy her.*

But Amara knew that to accomplish that goal, she would first have to settle things with Kaosu, and pretty soon they would be touching down on the demoness's world. Last time, she had been caught completely unready when she tracked down Kaosu to that planet and discovered she now had underlings with her, and that three of them were so exceptionally strong that she had been forced to retreat. This time around, it would be Kaosu who was surprised.

Precipitously, the screen in front of her switched on by itself, and in the middle of it was the upper body of a man. It was someone Amara had seen before.

"It's you!" she said. Eyes widening, the Saiyajin instantly rose from her chair.

"It's been a while, Princess Amara," the man said politely, a smile on his face. His expression turned a bit more serious. "Brace yourself. I am about to transport you to my dimension."

Even though she had been warned, Amara was still unprepared when a bright whitish-blue light exploded through the screen, engulfing her and making its way out the Bridge to other areas of the ship.

"Huh?" Piccolo grunted, his meditation ruined when he heard the roar of energy coming towards the lounge. Kuririn and Gohan heard it as well. They all looked up in time to see a light come into the room even though the door was closed, illuminating everything. The three could only stare in amazement as the radiance washed over them.

In the Engine Room, before anything else could happen between Vegeta and Juuhachi-gou, that same light had found its way inside where they were. They both stared up in bewilderment.

"A light?" Juuhachi-gou said.

"What's hap-"

Whatever Vegeta was about to say was cut off, as they too were swept up by the beam.

If anyone could see the ship from the outside, they would have seen the mysterious light engulfing it entirely. Shooting upward in one long streak, the light vanished, taking the spacecraft and its passengers with it.

Someone had seen it.

Seated on her throne, Kaosu's eyes opened and her features lit up in triumph. Her mouth stretched into a devilish grin.

"Got you!" she gloated, chuckling to herself.

Feeling the world darken and still around her again, Amara slowly reopened her eyes. Still standing in front of the viewport, it was the first thing she saw, and the image she found on it now surprised her. The image of that person from before had been replaced by a pair of chirping birds flying by on a perfect, beautiful summer-like day. White wispy clouds drifted through a deep azure sky, and an orange sun hovered high in the air, blazing brightly with warmth. Amara stared at it all.

"What in the world?" she whispered, frowning in puzzlement.

Latterly, Piccolo entered the Bridge, followed by a dubious-looking Gohan and Kuririn. A couple of moments after, Vegeta made his entrance, with Juuhachi-gou coming in behind him. Kuririn and Amara both noted it. While the former didn't seem to think much of it, the latter glowered at them but didn't comment due to the matter at hand.

Taking his eyes off them first, Kuririn turned to Amara. "What's going on here, Amara? What was that strange light!?"

"Hey, where are we?" Gohan asked, referring to the environment he saw outside the viewport. Anyone who hadn't noticed it already did now.

"Is this really where this Kaosu lives, Amara?" Vegeta questioned doubtfully.

"No, this is not Kaosu's planet," Amara confirmed. "Look, I'm just as confused about where we are as any of you. I think we'll find the answer to this mystery outside the ship."

Finished talking, Amara walked passed the others and out of the room. Having no other choice, the rest of the group followed. Shortly, they were walking down the steps of the ship and onto solid ground for the first time since they left Earth. For a time, everyone just stood there, taking in the sight of the new world they had found themselves in. The lush green grass, the wildflowers that peeked out here and there to enrich things, the surrounding verdant woodlands, and the fishes jumping in and out of a nearby brook that ended in miniature waterfalls; those things, added with the tropical weather, made this site seem like paradise.

"What is this place?" Kuririn wondered in astonishment.

"It's nice, isn't it, Kuririn-san?" Gohan said, smiling. It was as if it was always peaceful here. A world with never-ending peace…oh how he wished Earth could become such a world.

Juuhachi-gou abruptly looked up when a flock of birds flew by overhead. Nearby, she noticed a couple of squirrels playing, as well as some other forest creatures. Imperceptibly, she smiled at it all; she knew Juuroku-gou would have loved to visit such a place.

"Huh?" Beyond some trees, Gohan spied a lone building in the distance. "Hey, everyone, look at that."

Pointing towards it, the others saw it as well.

"A watchtower?" Kuririn said. "Who do you suppose live there?"

"That would be me," answered a completely different voice.

Everyone turned concurrently. Where they hadn't noticed before, a man was standing on the large branch of a nearby tree.

"It's where I watch the ongoings of different dimensions," he explained. "Including yours."

"Who are-" Piccolo started.

"It's him!" Juuhachi-gou said, mildly stunned. "The guy we mentioned who took down Kaosu!"

"Him!?" Kuririn asked skeptically.

"So, that's really the guy?" Vegeta asked, looking entirely unconcerned.

"I know what you're thinking, Vegeta," Amara said knowingly, as the man jumped off the branch and landed adeptly on the ground. "Don't let this guy's appearance fool you, or he'll make you regret it."

Vegeta glanced his sister's way before he shifted his gaze back onto the man. *We'll see about that.*

*This person sealed Kaosu?* Piccolo rehashed as the man drew up in front of them. He couldn't sense this person's actual battle power, though the air around him hinted that he was someone of capable strength. And where the Chaos demons that showed up on Earth emitted pure negative ki, this man was the opposite, emitting a stupendous amount of positive energy. Curiosity flitted across his face when he noticed the man was carrying a sphere in his left hand. It was a bronze sphere with a dragon statuette running across its length. His eyes widened again in quiet shock. *That's the…*

"So, the weapon that was used on Kaosu four years ago really was that Dragon Sphere!"

"What do you mean, Namekseijin?" Vegeta questioned.

"The Dragon Sphere is a mystical orb that repels all beings who come from Chaos," Piccolo answered, staring at the man as he spoke.

"Most mortals aren't supposed to know about that," he said. The man gave Piccolo penetrating stare. His face softened when a new comprehension came to him. "Now I see. You were once the God of your planet."

"All right, you!" Amara snapped, glaring the man down. "I want some answers. First of all, who exactly are you?"

"Yes, I suppose it is the time for proper introductions," the man consented. "My name is Armon. I am a warrior of Cosmos."

"A warrior of Cosmos?" Piccolo recited. His eyes broadened again as a notion came to him. "Th-then does that mean we're in the Cosmos Realm?...And that you are…the Uchuushin?"

The others looked towards Armon with varied surprise.

A faint smile tugged at Armon's lips. "Sorry, but you're wrong on both accounts. I am merely a soldier. Also, people from the Lower Realm are not allowed in the holy Cosmos Realm. The domain we're in is simply the first of many borders between the Universe you live in and the Other World."

"Well, are you going to tell us why you brought us here or not?" Vegeta asked impatiently.

"Yes, we don't have time for insignificant matters," Amara said. "We have to get to Kaosu quickly!"

Armon frowned. "It is because of that ignorance that I have brought you all here!" he replied with more authority in his voice. "None of you have any idea what that woman is truly capable of!"

Juuhachi-gou scowled at the deity-warrior, annoyed with being talked down to. She didn't like it when Gero used to do it and didn't appreciate it now, and would have told him so but Gohan spoke up first.

"Armon-san, you seem to know a lot about Kaosu," Gohan remarked politely. "Could you give us some info on her so we'll know what to expect?"

"Yeah, so far all we know about her is that she's really strong, and a demon of the Chaos Realm," Kuririn added.

"A demon?" Armon inquired, giving the Earthling an indiscernible look. "It's true Kaosu is really strong, terrifyingly so. But...Kaosu isn't a demon."

"Eh?" the group said at the same time.

"Kaosu's not a demon?" Piccolo asked. Something about the implication of those words made him feel a bit unsettled.

Vegeta shot his sister a look. "Amara, didn't you say she was?"

The Princess nodded. "I heard Kaosu refer to her soldiers as demons when I saw her the other day. So wouldn't that make her a demon, too?"

Armon shook his head at the group sympathetically. "You all are more misinformed about your enemy than I thought."

Amara glared at the man in irritation. "If she isn't a demon, then what the hell is she then!?"

A tense suspension followed. Then Armon answered, "Kaosu…is a god."

Gohan, Amara, Piccolo, Juuhachi-gou, and Kuririn all froze, gaping back at Armon in equal shock. Not even Vegeta could hide his surprise over this revelation.

"A g-god…!?" Amara echoed with a stammer in her voice.

"Yes, and not just any god," Armon continued. "She is one of the Kontonshin."

"God of Chaos!?" Kuririn exclaimed apprehensively. He looked toward Piccolo. "Piccolo, weren't those the gods you mentioned earlier?"

Piccolo nodded in response, chiefly because he wasn't sure about his voice right now. Even his face had turned a bit pale after hearing Armon's announcement.

"There exists two forces of nature that keep the Universe going: Cosmos and Chaos," Armon went into an explanation. "The Kontonshin preside over Chaos, tasked with throwing the Universe into disharmony by creating possibilities. On the opposite side of that are the deities who rule over Cosmos, the Uchuushin. They are tasked with interrupting the Chaos Gods whenever they go to the extreme by providing the Universe with law, structure and justice. As the two sides struggle eternally against one another, to make sure that one side didn't overpower the other, a balance was set in place. When both race of gods came into being, there were three each on both sides. But then…" His face hardened as he now remembered something painful. "One of the Chaos Gods, who had all always been equal in strength before, unexpectedly became too frighteningly powerful, and nearly destroyed that balance eons ago. One day, this god launched a fearsome assault on the Uchuushin and their armies in the Cosmos Realm, destroying all but myself and one of the gods. In spite of it all, the last God of Cosmos was still able to gather up the strength to drive the evil one away. That wicked deity who caused such a horrible event was none other than Kaosu."

*No wonder I was so helpless against her! And it also explains why she knew so much about the Saiyajin!* Amara reflected, feeling a bit overwhelmed after hearing about Kaosu's origin.

"As the saying goes,'it is typical of Chaos to be at war with itself'," Armon quoted. "Kaosu growing too strong would also become her undoing."

"How so?" Piccolo inquired.

"Due to her power and army outstripping theirs, the other Kontonshin turned against her, which ignited a war between them that lasted for a millennium. Ultimately, Kaosu lost to her former cohorts. She was exiled to your Lower Realm to live out the rest of her days until she dies."

"So, that's why she was trying to destroy everyone and everything when I first met her," Amara recalled. She also remembered the goddess's wounded state. "I had wondered where those injuries came from."

"But things are not looking good at all," Armon said grimly. "After her strength was severely depleted by the Nirvana Seal, Kaosu has already regained nearly all of it back!"

"Can't you seal her up again?" Kuririn asked.

"That's easier said than done," Armon replied regrettably. "Last time, I was mostly successful because she had been slowed down by her battle with the other Kontonshin and her fight with the princess and the two siblings, and those things allowed me to catch her off guard. Unfortunately, things are different this time. What's remaining of her once great army is now helping her. Also, I can't leave this place because I'm currently looking after an injured friend." His eyes momentarily drifted back over to the watchtower as he said that last part, before turning back to the group. "I'll only ask you this once. Even now that you know how dangerous Kaosu can really be, do you still plan to confront her?"

"Of course!" That unsurprisingly came from Vegeta. "After being given such a generous invitation in the first place, how can I turn it down? Especially now that I know I won't be wasting my time, that is if she's as strong as you say."

"Besides, Kaosu isn't invulnerable," Amara said. "Between all of us, we should be able to do something."

Armon stared back them with his unfathomable dark eyes. Then, as his gaze shifted over to Gohan, he said, "Perhaps you can. All right, well at least take this with you." He held out the Dragon Sphere towards the group. "It should be useful."

Saying nothing, Amara walked over to take the Dragon Sphere. Her fingers had just touched the orb when a malevolent, feminine chuckle suddenly filled the sky above them. While the others stared heavenward in alarm, the faces of Juuhachi-gou, Armon, and Amara stiffened in dismay, each one of them recognizing that laugh right away.

"What the hell is this?" Vegeta muttered, quickly raising his guard. Some of the others did as well.

Subsequently, a reddish-black beam came down from the sky, touching down on the ground nearby. The light solidified itself into a smirking lithe form.

"Kaosu!" Juuhachi-gou, Amara and Armon said in unison.

"T-that's Kaosu!?" Kuririn asked, in the tone of someone who had definitely been expecting something far worse. Regardless of her lavender skin, she looked very human.

The Z-Senshi and Armon instinctively stepped back a few steps- well, everyone except for Vegeta. The prince remained where he stood, arms folded, observing the woman he heard was so horribly strong with the expression of one who's obviously not very impressed with what he was seeing. In fact, he looked more annoyed than anything else right now.

Piccolo balled his fists, beads of sweat forming on his forehead as he stared across the area at Kaosu. He could feel the continuous negative energy radiating from her as well, and it greatly disturbed that part of him that was once Kami. It was an oppressive sensation, almost bearing down on him entirely; he felt so insignificant. After surviving a battle against the extremely powerful Cell, Piccolo had thought he would be ready to come face-to-face against even a God of Chaos, but he wasn't prepared for this at all.

Kaosu grinned, enjoying the looks on everyone's faces. Her gaze inevitably fell upon Armon, Juuhachi-gou, and Amara.

"Well, if it isn't three of my favorite people gathered all together just for me!" she sneered. "After all that bait I placed out, I knew I would catch you soon, Armon!"

"Bait?" Armon repeated, not liking what she was saying. "What do you mean?"

The goddess laughed. "What I mean is, I knew you've been watching me ever since I was freed from that damned seal of yours!"

Armon gasped sharply.

"All this time, I've only pretended like I didn't notice anything, waiting for this very chance," Kaosu said. "I also constructed that scene I'm sure you saw of my soldiers claiming they couldn't locate your whereabouts no matter how hard they tried. No wonder I couldn't find you all this time, Armon. Thankfully, despite the restrictions placed on me by that damn spell, I still have ways to come to a place like this." Her eyes shifted toward Juuhachi, Amara, and the Z-Senshi. "And it's thanks to all of you that I was finally able to find him!"

"Damn, we've been used!" Piccolo's anger at being someone's pawn edged off the intense trepidation that gripped him as soon as Kaosu appeared.

"What a cunning a trap you set, Kaosu," Armon said. In spite of everything, he didn't looking worried at all. "In any case, as you can see, I was prepared for anything you would do!"

Moving fast, Armon thrust the Dragon Sphere forward toward Kaosu, knowing it would instantly incapacitate her-

-and from out of nowhere, a bolt of black-white lightning careened through the air to hit Armon in the back of his hand. The deity-warrior let out a sharp cry of pain, dropping the Dragon Sphere to cradle his now bleeding hand with his other one. The Dragon Sphere fell to the ground and tumbled away towards the tree Armon had been standing in.

Everyone instantly looked in the direction where the blast had come from, just in time to see Fuwa lower her right hand. She, Konran, Anaki, and ten of Kaosu's low-level underlings flashed them all an ugly grin.

"Y-you three…!" Armon growled.

"Surely you remember my Chaos Soldiers," Kaosu said. "Particularly my esteemed Great Trinity: Konran, Fuwa, and Anaki!"

"You won't be using the Dragon Sphere on our goddess while we're here!" Fuwa declared.

"Or seal her up again!" Anaki added gruffly.

"I can't read their battle power, but they look pretty tough!" Kuririn said uneasily. "They're not going to be easy to beat!"

"Hmph! Maybe for you, but I could take them!" Vegeta replied with his usual sureness.

Hearing him, Kaosu chuckled at Vegeta. "Oh, my day has just gotten better. I'm standing in the presence of a Vegeta!"

"So, you know of me?" Vegeta said, looking smug.

"That's right. And let me just say, you're no different from any other Vegeta I've laid eyes on before," she continued. "You're all thick-headed, arrogant, spoiled brats who're all talk, although you seem to make great lovers." Winking at a certain blonde, she deliberately said, "Isn't that right, Juuhachi-gou?"

Juuhachi-gou flushed in furious embarrassment.

Vegeta grimaced.

Kuririn saw this and his heart sunk into his feet.

Amara glowered at the two of them in cold anger, as her suspicions were finally confirmed.

A sudden jolt struck Kaosu's senses. Pivoting, her eyes fell upon the watchtower. A golden light filled her eyes as she peered through building with her 'God Eyes'. In its single room, she could see it- the glass case and the person residing inside it. As her eyes returned back to normal, she shot a frosty look at her three prized fighters.

"It would seem that perhaps I put too much faith in your abilities!" she said scathingly.

The Great Trinity looked genuinely confused by their deity's abrupt hostility towards them.

"What do you mean, honorable Kaosu-sama?" Konran asked.

"That person you were supposed to take care of the other day- they're still alive!" Kaosu informed them. "And they're resting comfortably inside that building!"

The Great Trinity gasped, appalled.

Overhearing them, an insight hit Gohan as remembered something Armon said. He turned to the deity-warrior.

"So, they're the ones who injured your friend?" he asked.

"Yes," Armon growled, staring furiously at Kaosu. He had been afraid this would happen the second Kaosu arrived.

Her Chaos symbol glowing, Kaosu lifted a hand to her foot soldiers. In reaction, their insignias glowed as well, causing the demons to cry out in panic. The Great Trinity backed away, knowing what was about to happen to their comrades as they had seen it all-too many times. In the following moment, all ten disintegrated into nonbeing, their armors hitting the ground seconds later.

Kuririn and Gohan looked aghast, but the others didn't seem fazed by it very much. They were very familiar with such scenarios.

"She'll even kill her own men without remorse!" Armon spat disgustedly.

Fuwa, Konran, and Anaki visibly shivered when Kaosu's glacial eyes turned to them.

"Lucky for you three you have a lot more going for you than those guys," she said, lowering her hand, the glow of her symbol subsiding. "Otherwise, I would be in need of a new Great Trinity!"

"P-please! Allow us to make up for our blunder!" Anaki pleaded desperately.

Fuwa nodded. "We'll do it for sure this time!"

"Don't trouble yourself," Kaosu said coolly. "While I'm not 100 percent, I can still handle something this. After all, it's only fitting that I be the one to kill the God of Cosmos!"

There were quite a few stunned gasps.

"No, don't!" Armon pleaded.

His plea was ignored as Kaosu powered up. Instead of a normal fiery aura, her aura appeared in the form of a dome of red electricity. With a fierce yell, she sent a kiai at the tower. It hit point-blank, and it went up in a brilliant explosion. When the smoke cleared, Armon's fortress was revealed to be reduced to smoking rubble.

"NO!" Armon screamed.

Kaosu laughed heartlessly. "So went the last of the Uchuushin!"

Kaosu subsided when another ki touched her senses, a very strong one. Wheeling around, she found the source of the energy in the form of Gohan, who was glaring at her in escalating anger. The sight of him made Kaosu's own visage morph into a grimace.

"Boy! You are an abomination!" she said in detestation.

"Huh?" Gohan replied, confusion replacing the wrath on his face as he was taken aback by her words. "I'm…an abomination?"

"KAOSU!" Armon screamed in rage, his composure gone. Summoning up his fiery Trident, the attendant lunged towards the evil deity. Before he could make it to her, Konran intercepted him from out of nowhere with a flying kick, sending the deity-warrior crashing into the ground hard enough to dig a trench with his own body.

Gohan and Kuririn immediately stepped in, both tossing energy bolts at the demon at the same time. They never struck, as Fuwa and Anaki swiftly drew up on either side of Konran to effortlessly bat the blasts away, which landed in the surrounding woods behind them and exploded.

Floating shoulder-to-shoulder, the three blazed with their own auras, gathering power.

"CHAOS CANNON!" Konran shouted.

"CHAOS BOMBER!" Anaki roared.

"CHAOS TEMPEST!" Fuwa screamed.

Three energy blasts- dark blue, green, and purple- burst down towards the fighters, converging midway into a single large beam.

"Everyone, look out!" Kuririn screamed, already leaping out of the way.

The combined attack of the Great Trinity impacted, setting off another bright explosion that sent tremors across the land. Shortly, the smoke cleared and a giant gap in the terrain was revealed to be left where the fighters had been standing. Fortunately, the Z-Senshi, Juuhachi-gou, and Amara had made it to higher grounds in the sky before the attack had hit.

"Whew! That was too close!" Kuririn sighed in relief.

"Shit!" Vegeta swore, looking furious. He couldn't believe he had almost allowed himself to be caught off guard just then.

"The Dragon Sphere!" Amara exclaimed, scowling. "Don't tell me it was destroyed!"

"Armon!" Gohan shouted. "Where is Armon?"

It was then that the group realized that Armon wasn't in the air with them.

"Looking for something?" Kaosu's mocking voice called to them.

Like lent drawn to a magnet, the warriors looked her way at once. They immediately gasped. Kaosu and her Great Trinity were standing near the crater the blast had made, and they weren't alone. Trapped in armlock by Kaosu was Armon himself. The deity-warrior was struggling desperately to get free, but Kaosu's strength was just too much for him to resist.

Grinning devilishly at them, Kaosu did release Armon's arm...only to plunge her fingers into his skull. Her soldiers hastily drew back at a careful distance, as a sickly gold light silhouetted both Kaosu and the screaming Armon. Vegeta and company watched in matching levels of horror, meanwhile, the Trinity chuckled in malicious delight. Even now they could feel their goddess's ki rising sharply while Armon's ki declined at the same speed.

"We've got to save him!" Gohan shouted, he tried to hurry and do just that. Before he could get far, Piccolo caught him by the arm.

"It's too late, kid…" he said, shaking his head.

Gohan could only look on in dismay. The other Warriors watched the scene bleakly.

"Dammit!" Kuririn growled, feeling as helpless as he had when Vegeta, Koji, and the others fought against Juuhachi-gou and Juunana-gou.

In a final burst of light, Kaosu had devoured the last of Armon's energy. The unfortunate deity-warrior's skin was now as white as a sheet, and his eyes had no life in them at all. Removing her fingers from his head, Armon hit the ground like a discarded doll. For a minute, Kaosu just stood there, eyes shut in an unreadable mask. Then her eyes snapped open wide in euphoria, a black Super Saiyajin-like aura encompassing her. Even though no one but her demons could truly sense her actual power, all of her enemies could still feel the sheer force of it as swept it over them and the entire area.

"At long last, Kaosu-sama has truly returned!" Konran said elatedly, he, Fuwa, and Anaki bowing toward Kaosu.

Helpless against his rage, some of it surged forth through Gohan, and he transformed into a Super Saiyajin.

Kaosu promptly looked up at him, a smile of pure contempt on her face.

Crossing his hands over his head, Gohan screamed, "MA...SEN...KOOO!"

Gohan released his attack, striking the goddess vengefully. A lull fell over the area, as all waited to see Kaosu's condition after Gohan's explosive attack on her. When the smoke vanished, only the Great Trinity weren't surprised to see their mistress still standing and unmarked.

"N-no way!" Gohan said, alarmed.

"That was a cute introduction, little boy!" Kaosu called up tauntingly.

Gritting his teeth in anger, Gohan flew downward, reaching Kaosu in seconds. Before he could even land a blow, sinister purple glow snapped to life in her eyes. In the next moment, a wrecking ball-like force slammed into the half-Saiyajin, shoving him back inside the ship through the entrance. A loud crash was heard a moment later.

"Gohan!" Piccolo exclaimed.

Kaosu looked towards at Juuhachi-gou and Amara next. Her grin widened.

"Now, it's your turn!" she said to them.

"Forget them! I'm your opponent!" Vegeta declared, his hair spiking gold as he transformed. He zoomed down to challenge her next, balling his right hand into a fist and rearing it back. He swung, only to hit vacant air as Kaosu had already ducked the blow. Grinning, Kaosu punched him squarely in the stomach, her fist plunging so deeply into his abdomen that her knuckles could briefly be seen through his back. Despite Kaosu holding back, the blow still elicited a spray of blood out of Vegeta's mouth. It was followed by a crescent kick to the Prince's face that sent him crashing into a nearby hill.

Amara had watched the whole scene with a blank expression. Then reality caught up to her, and her face turned into a fierce scowl. She started to transform and attack Kaosu, but then a familiar light nearby caught her attention. It was the Dragon Sphere! Wasting no time, Amara rushed down to get it.

Lamentably, Kaosu spotted her. Lifting her right hand, she fired streams of golden energy towards Amara. However, midway, some of the lights curved off in a different direction...heading straight for Juuhachi-gou! The Jinzouningen could only react in startlement for a second before she was caught by the energy ropes at the same time they entangled Amara. The lights then pulled the cyborg and Saiyajin together and closed around them in a single sphere, which shrunk and shrunk until they were hand-sized. With a crook of a finger, Kaosu called the energy sphere back to her, where she caught it with her hand.

"Juuhachi-gou! Amara!" Kuririn tried to lunge in and help.

"I won't allow any of you trash to interfere with Kaosu-sama!" Konran stated vehemently. Moving fast, he easily intercepted Kuririn and smashed a double axe handle against the side of his head, sending Kuririn tumbling across the ground.

Swearing, Piccolo whirled toward Konran, the first two fingers of his right hand glowing with energy. "MAKANKO-"

Piccolo was cut off when Anaki and Fuwa came in from both sides to deliver a brutal double shoulder slam, stunning him. Anaki crushed his elbow into the side of the green warrior's face, and then Fuwa attacked with a knee strike to the Namekseijin's chest, knocking the air out of his lungs. Appearing over Piccolo, Konran topped the assault off with a fierce butterfly kick, the hit propelling the warrior's body earthward where it smashed through a couple of trees in the surrounding forest before he eventually landed with a resounding thud, scaring away the wildlife.

Victorious, the demonic fighters went to go rejoin their goddess's side. Kaosu took in all of the carnage approvingly. Armon was taken care of, Amara and Juuhachi-gou's team were quite incapacitated, and she had the two women themselves. She had accomplished what she had set out to do.

*And much more!* she boasted as she looked over at the rubble that was once Armon's watchtower.

"Good job, my warriors-eh?" Kaosu halted when she saw Gohan reappearing in the entrance of the ship and Vegeta laboriously getting back up to their feet. "Recovered already? I'm impressed, then again, I expect nothing else from you Saiyajin."

The Trinity stared down at them in equal annoyance.

"Fuwa, Anaki!" Konran called. "Let's take care of them once and for-"

"Hold it!" Kaosu cut in. As always, they instantly obeyed and turned to her. "I'm far from finished with them. This game is just getting started! Konran, now!"

Understanding what his master wanted, the team leader of the Great Trinity raised his hands towards the sky. A large hole opened up in that part of the sky, and on the other side was the space they had left earlier, but near the end of it, a large sapphire planet could be seen, tinted crimson by the thick red radiation surrounding it. Glowing brightly by it was a single eight-pointed star.

"Here is a gateway back to your dimension, and also a shortcut to my Planet Omegasei," Kaosu told them. "We'll be waiting, so hurry as fast as you can! I look forward to watching your last few moments of resistance!"

And with that, Kaosu and her minions vanished with their two captives and Armon's body in sparks of multicolored lights. Left in the wake of it all were four defeated Z-Warriors, the Dragon Sphere, and the ruined tower where the last God of Cosmos was buried.
