"So you thought it would be funny to get Ron into trouble did you?" Granger said as she cornered Scarlet outside the great hall. She was flanked by two boys from her house. Finnegan and Thomas.

"I don't know what you're talking about," Scarlet said quietly, barely sparing the group a glance as she saw her friends turn to notice she was missing.

"You're going to pay for whatever you did leech," Thomas said before Finnegan spun putting a fist into her gut.

Scarlet coughed and stood, attempting to walk away before being pushed back.

"Weak little freak can't even defend herself," Granger laughed as the boys pushed forward hitting shoving and kicking as they went.

Scarlet spat the collection of blood from her mouth before responding, "I refuse to fight over something so petty. I did nothing and refuse to stoop to your level."

At this she was forced to her hands and knees by a particularly hard shot to the stomach before being kicked in the ribs and face simultaneously sending her onto her back.

"Oh, we may not be able to prove it but we know you sent that spell through Ron. Brock here could tell."

At this point Scarlet could see and hear the Slytherins being held back by Gryffindors hitting as many people as they could with stunners trying to get to her.

Suddenly in a flash a wall of red and white stood between Scarlet and her attackers.

"Back off psycho bitch," William said upon his appearance. While he stood obstructing everyone's view the two flashes of red grabbed Scarlet and disappeared. Moments later William followed. Draco took off at a fast pace in the direction of the Slytherin common room on a hunch, with Blaise and Pansy following close behind. The rest of the slytherins noticed their absence and head for their classes knowing they would be informed later.

When Draco reached the common room his suspicions were proven right by the girl laying on the coffee table as he wounds healed at an unnatural pace.

"You are weaker than you should be Scar, have you been eating properly?" Professor Snape asked as he walked from his office across the room with a potion in his hand.

"I'm fine," she answered calmly, staring at the ceiling.

"No you're not," William said helping Snape pour the potion down her throat. "You were the last time she fed properly and that is the only time in the last month apparently. I'm not sure how she managed to hide that."

"Wait what?" came a pair of voices from across the room before the flashes of red appeared beside Scarlet once again, taking on a fully human form.

"What do you mean Scarlet hasn't been feeding?" Snape asked.

"I've been eating fine, Will is making it sound worse than it is," Scarlet answered only to be ignored.

"She hasn't had anything to eat or drink in over a month and has barely feed enough to remain conscious in that time. It's a wonder she hasn't passed out from blood loss after that beating. She could barely hold herself up before it started," William answered.

"Get the fuck out of my head, I am fine," Scarlet said, attempting to sit up before being pushed back down.

"Thank-you for coming to help on such short notice boys," Snape said addressing the pair that were holding Scarlet down.

"It was no problem..."

"...honestly Professor..."

"...when Scar's involved..."

"...we would come for much less."

"Perhaps you should stick around. It appears the hunters are going to be more problematic than expected."

"No kidding."

Instantly the boys identity clicked in the Slytherins heads.

"What are you doing here?"
