*Beep* *Beep* *Beep* Damn alarms, I always forget how obnoxious they can be if you let them go on for too long. I open my eyes and flick the off switch, causing the damn alarm to finally quiet down. I get out of my bed and hop in the shower for a quick second. After leaving I put on a black shirt this time, the same pair of pants that I've been wearing this entire journey (They were specially made to eliminate odors, unfortunately my shirt is a different story) and put my current trench-coat on afterwards.

I open up my door and proceed down to the lobby and give the person my room key. "Thank you for staying here, the staff here hope to see you again soon." The employee said before giving a bow of respect. Just to be polite I bowed as well before walking out of the door.

"Now my next stop should be Planeptune, the truce is tomorrow and if my estimates are right, a bridge connecting Leanbox to Planeptune will form within an hour." I noted upon walking outside. I started casually walking towards the gate and looked around the still dark sky. It's like 5am right now, I got up early just too make sure I don't suffer the possibility of being crushed by a huge as fuck crowd. Apparently I have become quite famous for my arena accomplishments and completing missions meant for high level fighters. It's not really anything special, and I think it will die out in a few days.

After waiting for a few more moments, the gate finally activates and the bridge to Planeptune is open. I quickly rush through the entrance and find myself in a fucking cave… again. "*sigh* Why is it always a cave? Couldn't it be something better? Just a recommendation to whoever made these bridges." I say before preparing my bow. "Well, at least I can get some practice in." I note before walking on ahead.

A monster quickly appears into my vision and I prepare to fire an arrow. I notice the screen on my bracelet start to flash and take my eyes off the target to see what the hell the bracelet wants.

'Tutorial on how to fight with a Bow.' Damn it, I don't need a tutorial on how to fire a fucking bow!

'Pay attention because some of your stats will be affected and you need to know about the elemental arrows.' Now you at least bothered to say something useful.

'Whenever you use Bows in combat your speed stat will drop but your strength stat will rise.' I already knew that, I'm slow on the draw with a bow, but my accuracy always makes up for it.

'Just let me explain this, then you can ignore me for the rest of this story.' Fine, but how are you reading my mind?

'Trade secret.' All right, just finish your tutorial.

'Thank you, now then… you also have access to four types of arrows that are enchanted by one of these four elements, fire, ice, wind, and lightning. Fire arrows have a 25% chance of causing a burn status on your target and it has a small splash radius when it makes contact with the enemy or surroundings. Ice arrows do subpar damage, but they are guaranteed to freeze your target for five seconds, unfortunately they are heavier than the others and require a slightly higher shot. Wind arrows lock on to your intended target and travel at extremely high speeds, on the flipside, their damage output is the worst. Last are the Lightning arrows, they pack the biggest punch out of all the other arrows and have a 50% chance of paralyzing your target.' That sounds fair enough, makes up for the fact I have no special skills of any kind when it comes to wielding a bow. Actually, I think any non-sword related skills I have like 'Sonic Arc' can still be used. I'll need to test that later.

I draw an arrow from the quiver on my back and nock it onto my bow. The arrow is a light shade of green and the feathers are dark green with white stripes. I draw the string back and keep my sights on the monster (it didn't run away or attack while I was in that tutorial for some reason). I release the string and the arrow is fired at an insane speed that the untrained eye couldn't see. It hit the monster right in its head (I think so anyways, it's literally a human sized carrot with arms and legs). The monster quickly recovers from the hit and charges at me. I jump back a little bit and prepare a new arrow, this one is a light shade of orange with a red stripe and the feathers are red with an inverted yellow triangle on each one.

I keep my sights locked onto the monster and fire once more. The arrow hits the monster in the head(?) again, and a blast of flames erupts from the arrowhead upon hitting the monster. The creature is incinerated and the pile of ashes explodes into pixels. "Well, how it will regenerate after that kind of damage will be nothing short of a miracle."

I proceed to walk through more of the cave at a normal pace. I figured that some of the monsters are likely to be asleep until a large crowd arrives. I notice that I'm starting to approach the exit of the cave so I decided to speed up a little bit. I eventually broke into a full run until I finally got through the exit. When I finally got through the exit I looked around my surroundings and I was completely mesmerized.

"Holy shit." That was all I could say upon looking at the city. Planeptune is without a doubt one of the most technologically advanced cities I have ever seen. Seriously there are shitloads of holographic screens acting as billboards on the buildings, an express train that can help you move around the capital and there are some cleaning robots hanging around the gate.

I decided to hop onto the express train and made sure to grab onto one of the metal bars tight. I prefer to stand on trains, just so the others could sit if they want to. The train started to move after everyone got onboard and I decided to look out the window and as I got closer to the city, I couldn't help but be amazed at some of the things I saw. Despite the fact everything is so advanced, the air is still clean and there is still plenty of wildlife. The thing that caught my attention the most though was at the center of the city. There is a gigantic tower that makes some of the damn skyscrapers look like two story buildings in comparison.

"I guess that's where the truce is happening." I note while watching the train circle the city until the next stop. That's the main problem with this train, it circles the city's perimeter but it's still quicker than walking from one end to the other.

The train slows down to a stop and the doors open up. I decided to walk out the door and look around the area. It seems to be something like a shopping district, I see item stores, weapon shops, some café's restaurants, and a hotel. I'm likely going to be here for a while because of my scheduled meeting at the arena. If I recall correctly, Thursday was two days ago, which means I have four days (today included) to practice before my battle with Corrida.

"I guess I should locate the guild before I do anything else." I state before walking around the district. I ask some of the citizens in the area for directions and some of them were cryptic as all hell. You know what? Fuck it, I'll just look for a map and use that for directions (Because no one and I mean NO ONE, thought it would be a good idea to implement a city map into this damn bracelet). I managed to find a map on a city wall and I make sure to take note of key locations.

After keeping some mental notes on places I want to stop by (mainly a hotel and the arena), I started to walk towards the guild building. The walk was relatively short because the damn guild was only three blocks north, why the hell did everyone I ask answer in cryptic sentences that would cause fucking scientists to go insane. Either way, I reached the guild building and proceeded to walk inside.

I walk up to a computer monitor and started cycling through the various quests on the list. "Hmm… what to pick, what to pick…" I say while cycling through the selections. I happened to stop at a mission that takes place near a lake to the south. Apparently, fish corpses are coming to life and attacking any civilians that happen to walk by. It's also believed that these corpses are being revived by lightning magic. "This could be a clue to help me find Maratso." I noted out loud. I accepted the quest and went on my way out of the building.

I decided to just take the damn train to the south end of the landmass because it would be faster than walking around like a dumbass again. I decided to look over the Planeptune landmass map and see if I can locate the lake. After searching for a few seconds I managed to find the lake and its name. "So I'm heading towards the Spazran Falls, and the lake is at the top of these falls. Why couldn't there be some monster infested deathtrap that only had the boss monster every now and then? It would make missions like this more bearable than some of the others.

The train finally stopped at the south end's terminal and I quickly disembarked before the crowd could become a major pain in my ass. I walked over to the exit of the city and found myself in the middle of a large field. I proceeded to head south while taking some breaks to look at my map just to make sure I don't end up lost. After my third break to check my map, I started to hear the sounds of rushing water, it's almost like a waterfall, I must be getting close then.

I started running off towards the source of the sound and as it slowly got louder, the ground started to become harder, and a slight mist started to form. When I finally came to a stop, I looked up and gasped in awe at the sight in front of me. There was a gigantic waterfall approximately two-hundred feet in height in front of me, and I can see the electricity sparking from the top of it.

"This is going to be a pain in the ass." I comment before starting to make my way up the waterfall. Unfortunately, the ground is extremely slippery from the rushing water and they're already small to begin with. I managed to get onto one of the larger platforms and a monster appeared.

This monster looked like a slightly mutated frog. The skin was light blue with splotches of yellow on it. The front legs are longer than the hind legs. Its tongue is dark purple and some green liquid is dripping from it, likely poisonous acid, and there are spikes protruding from its back. I get my bow ready and prepare an arrow. This arrow is light blue and it seems to be slightly heavier, the feathers also have a crystal like design on them.

The frog made the first move by striking with its tongue. I quickly jumped back to dodge the attack but the green liquid flew from the tongue and hit my right arm. The sleeve of my trench coat starts to dissolve after the liquid made contact with it. "Shit, I was right." I say as I quickly took my trench-coat off. Unfortunately, this means I had to drop my bow to do so, which means I'm completely unarmed.

I quickly threw my trench-coat at the monster and while it covered the creature's face, I grabbed my bow once more and fired the arrow. The arrow hit the ground right in front of the monster and caused the ground around it to freeze. The frog creature tried to approach me, but it ended up slipping on the ice and fell on its back. The spikes pierced the ground and it was unable to move, except for the damn tongue. I pull out another arrow and prepare to fire it. This arrow was yellow with some purple stripes on it. The feathers had jagged yellow and blue lines on them. I fired the arrow and the creature was instantly engulfed by a fury of electric sparks. The creature managed to pull its spikes out of the ground and it looks pissed.

I quickly send my bow back into my disc and wait for the creature to make its next move. It tries another tongue lash but I duck underneath it. It seems like it requires three seconds for the tongue to return before it can attack again. I wait for it to attack one last time. It strikes with its tongue and I quickly sidestep it. I quickly rush forward and strike it in its stomach with an open palm, I follow up by launching it into the air with my knee, I jump into the air to follow the monster. "Sonic Arc!" I do front flip and land a kick right into the monster's skull.

The creature slammed into the ground with enough force to cause some cracks to form before it burst into pixels. I landed right in front of where the creature was and proceeded to climb the waterfall some more.

The ground was slightly less slippery the higher up I got, I guess it's because less water is hitting the ground this high up. That or more monsters are likely hanging around and they absorbed some of the water. I really hope it's the former. I decided to keep my bow ready just in case though.

I started to get closer to the top of this waterfall and the sparks are starting to become more frantic. "Oh shit!" I yell while jumping back after a lightning bolt barely missed me. Whatever is causing all of these sparks is definitely close by, I need to make sure I'm ready for this fight so I eat some of the healing grass I have before preparing my bow once more.

I reach the top of the waterfall and approach the lake at the top. It's currently swirling like a whirlpool and I can see something swimming inside at crazy speeds. "That thing must be the source of the lightning." I comment while preparing a wind arrow. The creature notices me taking aim and jumps out of the lake. "OH CRAP!"

A/N: Cliffhanger! Will Kevin pull through and defeat this creature? Find out next time in the next episode of Unknown Traveller. On a more serious note, the truce is only a day away and Kevin already has an interesting first day in Planeptune. Now, I'm well aware of Craze restarting the Future Onwards fic, but the main purpose of this one is still in effect, and it will officially end when Kevin has his final battle with Maratso plus an extra chapter which will be his closure to the world and he returns home. Unfortunately, I might need to start doing hiatuses with this one soon because it is partially reliant on the new Future Onwards' uploads but that might not be for a few chapters. With that I'll see you guys next time.
