Umm... Hi. Yeah. Long time no new chapter, right? o_o

I watched as Bo sprinted to the boundary line that separated our sides. With amazing speed and coordination, he kicked the dodge balls to our side of the court. Bo was exceptionally fast for a human. It was kind of crazy.

"Well, Gohan, don't just stand there," Bo said with a grin, "What? You didn't expect me to be that fast, did you?" His back was toward the enemy, not a relatively good choice. One of the guys on the other team stole that opportunity to take out Bo. The ball was speeding towards my ally and Bo swiftly jerked to the side and dodged the ball at the last possible second.

I blinked.

"Here, man," Bo said as he picked up the ball that was rolling at his feet. He tossed it up to me and I caught it in surprise. "Throw it with all you've got."

Of course, there was no way in HECK I would ever throw the ball with all my strength, and Videl knew it too. She had worry painted on her face, though she had never seen –scratch that –she had never had knowledge of what my full potential was.

"Okay," I replied, turning the ball around with my hands. It was really hard to control my strength and when I threw the ball, it hit one of the students in the gut. He let out a gruesome choke and flopped to the ground.

"Whoa, Gohan!" Bo shouted as he shaded his eyes with a hand even if there was no extreme light. He turned to me and said, "Holy moly! Man, you've got one strong arm!"

"Thanks," I said, rubbing my forearm. I didn't meet his eyes.

In the end, we won.

"That was a good game, Videl. It's been a long time since I've played ball," Bo said as we walked out into the sunlight. He stretched out his arms before slipping on his jacket.

"Hmph," Videl said. "How much time do we have left until lunch ends?"

I checked my watch and told them we had about 10 minutes until class resumed.

"Whatcha wanna do then?" Bo asked.

Behind us, I heard someone call out my name. I turned my head around and met eyes with Sharpner. He ran up to us and greeted.

"Hi, you're Gohan right? The new nerdy student?" Sharpner asked. His breath was heavy from running all the way here. Then he shook his head and said, "Sorry. I should've said something else."

"Oh, no it's fine," I said automatically.

"Gohan, you shouldn't be that forgiving," Videl said sharply. "Otherwise everyone at this school will use you."

"Watch it, Del," Bo said. Videl responded with a disgusted sound and crossed her arms without saying another word.

"So what do you need, Sharpner?" I asked, turning back to him.

"I just wanted to say that was a good game, though a couple of my guys are injured," Sharpner said. He then turned to Videl and said, "You were pretty good out there, Videl. It's surprising to me that you're actually blind."

"Huh, is it?" she asked, not looking in his direction.

"Yeah."

"Well, I'm leaving. Bo, Gohan, if you want to come with me, you can. Otherwise, you can hang out with Sharpner for the rest of lunch," Videl said from the corner of her mouth. "Bye." She gave us a little wave.

I looked back and forth, whether or not to follow Videl or stay put.

"You guys should go," Sharpner said out-of-the-blue, like he had read my mind. I nodded and caught up with Videl with Bo following behind.

"Good, you guys came. Now, help me get back to the school. I have no idea where we are," Videl said.

"What were you planning to do if we didn't come?" Bo chuckled.

Videl shrugged, which probably meant: I had no doubt you guys would come, so what's the point of thinking about the other possibilities?

Classes started again and before I knew it, school was over. I packed up my things in my bag and slung it over my shoulder before saying good bye to my teacher. Once I was out the classroom door and into the hallway, people were everywhere. At their lockers, walking down the hallway, or just standing there, six feet in front of me, waiting.

"Finally, Gohan. We've been waiting for hours," Videl complained, narrowing her eyes at me.

"You've gotta learn to get out faster. We're not gonna wait forever for you," Bo said with his arms crossed. He regained his posture when we walked down the hallway.

"What are you guys doing here? Don't you guys have to go home and do homework?" I asked.

"I kinda accidentally ripped mine into bits," Videl said sarcastically.

"I'm done with mine," Bo replied. I couldn't whether he was serious or not.

We continued walking down the hallways, listening to bits of conversation as we passed by cliques and students. I overheard some interesting information about the dodge ball game. All of it was exaggerated though. It was kind of surprising that nobody mobbed us, since it was us who were the ones who took out the school's dodge ball team.

"It looks like we're famous," Bo said. He grinned and laughed with his hands in his pocket. Then, I realized I've never seen Bo wear his backpack. Heck, did he even have one?

"Um, Bo?" I asked to grab his attention. He glanced at me with a curious expression, waiting for my question. "Uh, where's your backpack?"

He squinted his eyes and crinkled his nose. "I don't have a backpack," he told me and left it at that.

Finally, we reached the front of the school and made our separate departures. At least Bo did.

"Bye, guys!" Bo called out once he started walking down the street. He waved and took off running out of sight.

I stood there and waited for Videl to leave, but she stayed put.

"Um, aren't you going home?" I asked awkwardly. She responded with an icy cold stare that made me jump three feet from her.

"Sorry," she said. I recollected myself and stood beside her.

"When are you going to teach me how to fly? That's what I want to know."

"To be honest, I have no idea," I replied, shaking my head.

"WHAT?! ARE YOU SERIOUS?!" Videl cried out, throwing her hands up in the hair. "I've been waiting patiently forever!"

I cocked up one of my eyebrows and said, "Videl, it's only been a day and not even a full one at that."

She was about to object, but refrained from doing so. I felt like I won this battle, but Videl lashed out another threat.

"So, Gohan, have you heard of the Golden Fighter?" Videl asked with and evil smile. My confidence was drained from my body.

"G-Golden F-F-ighter?" I asked, stuttering. Instinctively, I checked our surroundings and tried to find a more private place to talk. My hand latched around Videl's wrist and I dashed off to the empty school field. I slowed down to a walk and Videl jerked her hand away from mine and demanded for me to release.

"Geez, Gohan. If you're going to run at your super-speed or whatever, at least warn me first!" said Videl. She rubbed her wrist, trying to ease the pain with pressure.

"Sorry, Videl." I was tensed.

"You're the Golden Fighter, aren't you? I mean, I don't know what you look like but, seriously. It's not every day you hear about a man with superpowers or something." She dumped her backpack on the grass and sat down. I had no other choice than to follow suit.

"Yeah, I guess I'm this 'Golden Fighter'," I said, picking at the grass.

Videl smiled. "Well, then Mr. Son, I believe we're done here."

I jolted my head up and said, "What?" I was utterly confused.

"If you don't teach me how to fly tomorrow, I will personally tell the press who this 'Golden Fighter' really is," Videl said a little too cheerfully. Just as quickly as she sat down, she got up. I watched as she dug through her backpack and pulled out a capsule. With a click and a boom, Videl hopped in and took off in her plane. How did she pilot it? I have no idea.
