"X-105 Strike, do you copy?"
"X-105 Strike, respond over."
"KIRA YAMATO WAKE UP! I KNOW YOU'RE NOT DEAD SINCE THERE'S A PRETTY GOOD LIFE SIGN, SO WAKE THE HELL UP!"
Said individual suddenly opened his eyes and stumbled for a bit before calming down. He looked to see the face of the tall blue mech that belonged to Conner.
For the first time, Kira got a good look at this mobile suit. He saw the red visor, the dark blue color tainted with ash. There was also something about this MS that feels off when compared to ZAFT. This was as if built for pure warfare and absolutely zero symbol.
The boy then saw the damage. Burns and ash cover the blue metal. He saw the connection between the arm and the torso struck by a large piece of metal. The visor itself flickered for a bit before it finally came back on with a flash.
"Huh, yeah I'm good," responded Kira.
"You got Archangel's coordinates?"
"Yeah,"
"Good. Listen, I need to get something on my ship before I return to the Archangel. Just get back to the Archangel; I'll meet you there later."
"Got it."
As he saw the mobile suit transform and leave the area, he noticed wreckage all over the place. The boy realized the remains are not from warships, but rather from something bigger.
"Heliopolis. Why?"
Kira then noticed something on his radar. He maneuvered the Gundam towards the location until he saw a large cylindered object.
"Huh, a life boat?"
Ra Cailum Bridge
"Status report?"
"Captain, we lost at least three of our beam cannons as well as half of our CIWS and multiple missile pods. We are also suffering major structural damage sir."
"Mobile suit teams?" asked Captain Noa.
"We've lost both pilots of Leopard 2's DC50 and the mobile suit itself is crippled beyond use. Leopard 1 is undergoing repairs but the communications officer has been killed."
"So the third officer of Leopard 2 will be transferred to Leopard 1?"
"Yes sir. Lt. Stepney's suit will take some time to be repaired while the colony explosion has damaged Lt. Johnson's ReZEL. He has landed on the ship to pick up some parts and additional weaponry for repair on the Archangel seeing how our ship hangars don't have the space and our crew don't have the time to repair his."
The captain began to look for the EA ship named Archangel when he spotted something that almost had him spit out his coffee.
"Commander Meran, are all our sensors working?" inquired Bright.
"Yes sir."
"Then please explain to me why is there a Pegasus-class warship in front of me."
"Ehh we honestly have no idea sir."
The Captain looked at his XO in silence. He then turned to the door and exited the bridge with the XO following him.
"ZAFT?" inquired Bright as the door opened.
"Still there sir. About maybe three or four ships. Unknown number of mobile suits though."
"Ok, but what about the Gundams?"
"Reports from Lt. Commander Rommel stated that at least four out of five have been captured by them sir."
Bright narrowed his eyes at this. "The last one?"
"The GAT-X105 Strike is in our hands, sir. It is however piloted by a 16-year old that could more or less be a newtype."
"That happens all the time."
"The pilot is reported to be pacifist sir."
The Captain once again looked at his second in command.
"Now that's a problem."
He remembered that none of all the gundam pilots in the past were pacifists or even partially pacifist. There were those against the war but they still pull the trigger.
A door opened revealing a relatively small grey room with a table and two chairs. Sitting on one end of the chairs is a young fair skinned woman with raven black hair that barely reached her shoulders, blue eyes and scar on her cheek. She is in complete green ZAFT uniform.
"Alright tell me who you are unless you want to-"
"The name is Ren Wilkins, former executive officer of ZAFT," interrupted the prisoner.
"You seem willing to talk. Why so?"
"Call me a collaborator if you want but ZAFT keeps on repeating the same mistakes again and again that gets my people killed," Ren replied bitterly.
"Ok then," replied the partially confused Commander Maren.
"I don't know anything outside of fleet movements but there are at least two groups working within ZAFT."
"How do we know we can trust you?" questioned Bright.
"Common sense and intel you guys already have."
"Well, intel does suggest an external political/paramilitary group is involved," stated Meran.
"Continue," said Bright.
"As I said, there are two groups that I know of are more or less directly involved within ZAFT. The first is being very discreet and we only heard rumors and somewhat strange orders from them. The second is completely not part of ZAFT in the first place and with activities being lead by a council member by the name of Ribbons Almark."
"Wait a minute. Just what are you planning to bargain for all of this?" asked Bright.
"Get me out."
"What?"
"Many within ZAFT, coworkers, friends, superiors, subordinates, have disappeared due to 'mysterious circumstances'. The truth is somebody has been hunting them down."
Archangel Bridge
"So, what do you plan to do now?" asked Lt. Mu La Flaga
"Our ship is still in battle. Can you detect the ZAFT's ships' movement?" questioned acting captain Murrue Ramius to a bridge officer.
"Impossible. All our sensors are useless due to the debris and the only thing we detect is the unknown faction warship that its IFF tag calls it the Ra Cailum."
"The same will be true for them too," stated Mu. "You expect they'll come after us?"
"I think we should move based on that assumption," replied Murrue. "Although if they attack us right now, we'd be finished."
"You're right. All we have is that precious Strike, and my damaged Zero. Not to mention London Bell, I think one of the pilots mentioned that name, and their warship and mobile suit team. And the ship itself is greatly understaffed. We're in no shape to fight. "
The captain sighed as she figured her only option: to trust London Bell.
"This is a pretty fast vessel itself or so I've been lead to believe," stated Mu.
"They're Nazca-class vessels are fast as well," countered Murrue.
"Then should we surrender then?"
"What did you say? Wait a minute. Who gave you such authorization?" yelled out Natarle.
"What's the matter, Ensign Badgiruel?"
The Strike and the ReZEL has returned. But they brought a life boat."
The ReZEL flew just in front of the bridge before Conner activated the intercom.
"For Pete's sake just let the lifeboat in. It's leaking air and the Ra Cailum is way too damaged," announced Conner.
"Relief forces will arrive to pick them up."
"A. LEAKING AIR!. B. HOW THE BLOODY HELL WOULD RELIEF FORCES GET HERE WHEN EVERYBODY THAT WON'T SHOOT AT US ARE HUNDREDS OF MILES AWAY!"
"All right. I authorize it," said Murrue.
"Thank you," exclaimed Conner as he had his MS form a salute before disappearing from view.
"Captain!"
"I don't want to waste time arguing over such things. Bring it in quickly!"
"Very well, Captain," replied Natarle as she gave a salute.
"I'm well aware of the severity of our situation," started Murrue. "But I have no intention of surrendering. There's no way I'm going to hand over this ship or the Strike to ZAFT. We must take them safely to Atlantic Federation headquarters no matter what it takes to do so."
"Captain incoming transmission from the Ra Cailum!"
"On screen now," ordered Murrue.
The screen came to life showing a man in his forties with short jet-black hair and black eyes.
"Greetings. I'm Captain Bright Noa of the Ra Cailum. I see you guys could use a hand?" said the man.
"Yes, we request dire assistance in this matter."
"Very well then. Be warned however that we may shoot at some of your allies-"
"Captain! I don't think we should trust them. We should wait for reinforcements to arrive," interrupted Natarle.
"Ensign, I am quite sure that ZAFT will get to us before reinforcements will arrive. Besides, all EA forces that have been eliminated by London Bell or their other name Exodus were all working with or is part of Blue Cosmos," stated Murrue. "I wonder however is why you choose to help us."
"Let's just say your ship and the Gundam will play a big role in the future," replied Ra Cailum's captain. "Anyway what are you guys planning to do?"
"Captain, I suggest we make our way to Artemis," said Natarle.
"Artemis? That's a Eurasian military satellite isn't it?" mentioned Murrue.
"Artemis and its umbrella," said Mu.
"You guys sure about that?" inquired Bright.
"From our present location, it's the easiest allied forces location to get to," continued Natarle.
"You realize that we're in a situation where neither G-weapons nor this ships has a recognition code acknowledge by allied forces. Would Eurasia…"
"I'm aware that the Archangel and the Strike are both regarded as top military secrets of the Atlantic Federation. However, should we set our course for the Moon you can't expect us to get there easily without confrontation. Also, since we left without sufficient provisions, we need supplies badly."
"I realize that."
"I'm sure Eurasia will understand our situation. As things are, the most realistic measures would be to avoid confrontation, replenish at Artemis, and try to contact the lunar headquarters from there."
"Artemis, huh?" said Mu. "I wonder if things will go as we hope."
"However, it truly appears to be our only option," stated Murrue.
"Very well then," said Bright. "However, to get there, we will be running silent and also deep within ZAFT's hunting grounds."
Meanwhile, the Strike entered Archangel's hangar bay.
He set the lifeboat on the ground and taxied (or in an MS's case, walked) to the gundam's port. With a press of the button, the Strike deactivated and turned grey. Kira then opened the Strike's and saw a particular redheaded girl in a pink dress exiting the lifeboat. He recognized her as Sai's girlfriend Flay.
Before he could say a word, his mechanical pet bird Tori flew away from his shirt. Kira tried to reach for it but the mechanical bird screamed its name in the air, causing Flay to look to his direction.
"It's you! You're Sai's friend!" she yelled out in joy.
"Flay." Before Kira could say anything else, Flay hugged him tight. Kira then blushed.
"Hey what happened to Heliopolis? What happened there? What went on?"
Kira looked at her while fellow pilot John Rommel saw this and approached them.
'I've seen enough in my life to know where this is going,' thought the older man.
"I…I...I got separated from Jessica and Misha in a store in Florence, and I ran to a shelter alone, and then…"
"Calm down. Everything will be alright," said John as he approached them.
"This is a ZAFT ship, right?" Flay suddenly asked. "What's gonna happen to us? What are you doing here anyway?"
"This ship belongs to the Earth Forces," replied Kira.
"You're lying! There are mobile suits on board!"
"Actually the gundam also belongs to the Earth Forces while the green one and the blue one belongs to uhh-"
"London Bell," answered John.
"Sai and Mirialla are here too. You'll be fine."
"By the way I believe we haven't met yet," said John as he and Kira shook hands.
"Right, sorry. I'm Kira Yamato."
"Lt. Comander John Rommel. Ex-Zeon. At least the more reasonable ones. I'm Conner's wingman and mentor."
"Yeah right old man." Came in the voice of Conner as he approached them.
Kira noticed something off about him. He seemed tired, but he just ignores it as if it was nothing.
"Well Kira, my mobile suit got damaged in the colony explosion. I'll be sitting out on the next round."
"Ok then," Kira said before he saw Conner moved to the chief engineer.
"You're the chief mechanic right?" Kira heard from Conner.
"Yes," replied the mechanic known as Murdoch.
"Here's the instructions how to repair the ReZEL and add the extra weapons pack," said Conner as he gave Murdoch a digital pad. The former soon turned to exit the hangar.
"Why is he like that?" asked Kira to himself. "Why does he fight?"
"Call it acceptance kid," replied John. "He understands what he hast to do and what he is fighting for. Although his number one goal is to not get killed."
Kira just sighed at his reply.
"By the way, don't even bother with screwing her over yet."
"What?" Before Kira could further ask him, John was already floating towards his mobile suit.
"Good luck out there kid."
Vesalius Bridge
"Who could have anticipated this? The council look likely on a neutral nation's colony," stated Captain Ades.
"How can you call a colony that's manufacturing Earth Forces weapons neutral?" answered Rau Le Creuset. "However, most of the residents have escaped. So we really have no problem. Compared to the Bloody Valentine incident."
Ades gulped at that.
"Can you get the position of the enemy's new warship?" inquired Rau.
"No, not with the present state of things. Do you still plan to go after them? We lost half of our mobile suits."
"What do you mean?" asked Rau as he turned to Ades. "We have four more we took from the Earth Forces."
"You suggest we use them? But-"
"Now that we're finished with the data extraction, we can go ahead and use them. Bring us a map of the region and signal the other ships to expand their search regions."
Rau looked at the map representing the positions of all ZAFT ships in the area before turning to Ades.
"It's time we turn their precious Gundams against them."
Archangel
"Prepare the decoy," ordered Murrue. "Upon firing, we'll start the main engines to adjust our course to Artemis. We'll then switch to inertial flight to avoid detection by the enemy. Take level 2 battlestations."
"Ma'am, we're receiving a message from the Ra Cailum. They're sending out heat flares to mask all of signatures."
"Good. That should buy us some time. Finish checking the ship within an absolute minimum time!"
"A silent run until we go to Artemis. That should take us about two hours," said Mu to himself. "From this point on, we'll have to rely on luck."
Vesalius
"Perhaps because of the debris from the collapsed Heliopolis, they've already left the area unnoticed," suggested Ades.
"No. We can rule that out. They're likely sitting very quietly somewhere."
Rau continued to analyze the holographic map as a thought entered his mind.
"How about setting up a net?" he suggested.
"'A net,' did you say?" asked Ades.
"The Vesalius and the rest of the 14th will take off first and wait here for the enemy ships," stated Rau as he pointed the coordinates on the map. "The rest will follow along the course, intersecting the orbit, searching for the enemy, and staying hidden."
"To Artemis? What if the were heading to the Moon?"
"Large heat sources detected!" reported a crewman. "One weaker heat source has also been detected and is heading to the Moon."
"It's a decoy," said Rau.
"But we should confirm with Gamow, just in case," suggested Ades.
"No. They'll be heading to Artemis. I'm even more sure of that right now," Rau said with a gesture of his hand as he moved to the center of the bridge. "The Vesalius and the rest of the 14th shall set sail. Get Zelman online. The only question now is where should they be."
Archangel
"I wonder we're we headed."
Conner just shook his head at that. He continue to just lie down in the top bunk while the others either sat down on the beds or have their backs against the walls.
"They changed course once didn't they? I wonder if ZAFT is still around," said Sai.
"They're after this ship and the mobile suit, right?" asked Tolle.
"Plus London Bell," added Conner.
"Why so?" questioned Kuzzey.
"Tell what do you guys know about us," stated Conner.
"Nothing really, but ZAFT thinks you guys are 'traitorous coordinators' or something," replied Tolle. "How are you a lieutenant by the way?"
"Let's just say I was part of the mobile suit version of Top Gun," the older boy replied a bit lazily.
"Wait, YOU WERE IN TOP GUN!?" yelled out a now surprised Tolle.
"What's Top Gun?" Kuzzey asked.
"It's like an elite school for fighter pilots back 20th century. There was a popular movie about it," clarified Miriallia.
"Either way, ZAFT is still after us," said Sai.
"Huh? Are you saying that we're less safe now that we boarded this ship?" asked a now even more worried Flay.
Conner simply wanted to face palm at that.
"Would you rather have remained on that broke lifeboat?" questioned Miriallia.
"Well, no," answered Flay as she leaned on Sai.
"I hope my parents are safe," said Kuzzey.
"Evacuation orders were issued to all districts. I'm sure they're okay," reassured Sai to his friend.
"Anyway we'll have to go Red October right now," stated Conner.
"I just realized that the captain of that ship in the book has the same name as our captain right now," realized Tolle.
"You actually read, Tolle?" slyly asked Miriallia.
"Oh come on! I read all the time!"
He was suddenly met with silence.
"I'm pretty sure that was the only non-academic book you've read. You only read it because Conner and Mir forced you too," stated Sai. Tolle suddnely looked dark
"Kira Yamato," came in the voice of Lt. la Flaga as he entered the quarters.
"Y-yes?" stuttered Kira.
"Petty Officer Murdoch is furious. He doesn't have enough people. He says you're responsible for maintaining your own machine," explained thte Hawk.
"My machine? What do you mean my machine?"
"Kira, do you fly the gundam?" asked Conner in a very serious tone.
"Yes, but-"
"It's your machine then."
"Sure I rode that thing twice, only because I had no choice! But I'm not a soldier or anything!" yelled out Kira. Mu shook his head.
"So when the fighting starts again, you'll say that again. You refuse to pilot it, and we'll have a great chance of dying right?" Mu challenged the buy. "Right now, you, John, and I are the only ones who can protect this ship."
"But I-"
"You have the ability to make a difference, right?" questioned Mu. "Then put those abilities to use. We have little time to think this over."
"Excuse me! Where is this ship heading?" asked Sai.
"A Eurasian military fortress."
"Great, Artemis," sarcastically said Conner.
"We'll be lucky if they let us in without incident.," Mu continued before leaving.
"I-" before Kira could say anything else, he left the room quickly.
"Hey Kira!"
"Let him be Tolle."
"What's that supposed to mean?" asked Flay. "You mean Kira was on-"
"You heard that a mobile suit carried that lifeboat, right?" Sai replied. "That guy Kira, was the one piloting it."
"What? Him?" questioned Flay. "But why? Why would he be in a mobile suit?"
"Because Kira's a coordinator," Kuzzey said.
"Kuzzey!"
"Kira is a coordinator. But he isn't with ZAFT."
'That was racist," stated Conner as he just sat down on his bed. "One question. Do you guys think I'm one?"
"Maybe" Conner shook his head at that.
"To make it clear, nobody that piloted a mobile suit from where I come from were coordinators"
"What do you mean?"
"Anybody can pilot one, provided they have the skills," Conner said.
"Still, Kira is one of us. A treasured friend," stated Miriallia.
"Still, not even a coordinator could learn how to pilot a mobile suit like that under two minutes," wondered Conner.
"What?" asked Tolle.
"It's a long story involving something more than just natural-coordinator stuff."
Vesalius
"Athrun Zala. Reporting as requested."
"Right, come in," said Rau as the door opened and his subordinate entered.
"I was hoping to speak to you earlier, but things got out of hand with the collapse of Heliopolis," stated the older man.
"Sir, I apologized for what happened in the previous battle," said Athrun.
"I have no intention of punishing you, but I do want to hear your side of the story," stated Rau. "Particularly since it wasn't like you, Athrun. I understand you were near that machine when it was activated."
"I'm terribly sorry. I was stunned by what happened and failed to report the incident. That final machine, the person piloting it is Kira Yamato, a Coordinator friend from the military preparatory school I attended on the Moon."
"Well"
"I never dreamed that we'd meet again in such a situation, so I needed to be sure."
"I see, war is full of irony. I don't blame you for being stunned. I imagine you were quite close to such a friend," replied the commander.
"Yes."
"Very well," said Rau as he walked towards Athrun. "If that's the case, I shall take you off the upcoming sortie."
Athrun was surprised at that.
"You wouldn't be able to point a gun at such a friend. And I don't want to force you either," explained Rau.
"No, Commander! That's-"
"Even if he was once your friend we must shoot him if he's now the enemy. I'm sure you understand that."
"Kira is being used by the Naturals!" yelled out Athrun. "He's brilliant, but also absent-minded and good-natured, so he fail to see he's been taken advantage of. That's why I want to persuade him. He's also a Coordinator! I know he'll understand what we have to say!"
"I understand how you feel. But what if he won' be persuaded?"
"If that should happen, I'll shoot him down myself."
"What if he was with London Bell?" suggested Rau. Athrun staggered at that.
"What do you mean sir? They should be with us."
"Contrary to popular belief of ZAFT, they are not coordinators but something else entirely. Either way, your friend will be a dangerous foe if he is with London Bell."
Archangel
"Large heat signatures detected! Distance 200, Yellow 33, 17, Mark 02 Charlie, course zero-shift-zero!"
"Besides us? It's headed in the same direction," exclaimed Mu.
"Have they caught on us?" asked a now worried Murrue.
"But it's a fair distance from us."
"The target is passing our ship. Ship type confirmed. It's a Nazca-class"
"They're getting in front of us to stop us in our tracks," said a now partially angry Mu.
"Where's the rest of the fleet?" demanded Natarle.
"Wait, additional contacts in front of us and at least five heat sources behind us."
"At this rate, they'll catch up to us. But if we use our engines to escape, the Nazca will catch us followed by its counterparts. Bring up the data on the vessels and a map of space over here," said Mu.
"Do you have a plan?" asked Murrue.
"That's what I'm getting ready to think about."
"Incoming message from the Ra Cailum! It says they're ready to engage."
Meanwhile for both ships, the alarms sound off as crewman prepared the weapons of their respective warships while the Ra Cailum MS team began boarding they're MS
"Kira Yamato to the bridge. Kira Yamato to the bridge" came in the PA system.
"I wonder what Kira's decided," stated Mir as she and the others sat down in the mess hall.
"We'll likely be in an unenviable position if he doesn't fight," replied Sai.
"Hey, Tolle," Mir said. "We're always sitting on the sidelines while Kira tries to protect us."
"If we have the ability to make a difference, then put the abilities to use, right?"
Tolle looked at his friends as they nodded.
"Captain! I have civilians here wishing to speak to you."
"We have no time for that. I'll listen to their complaints later!" yelled out Natarle.
"Well, uhh the students that are with us from Heliopolis are offering to help us with the ship's operation."
"What?"
Kira floated through the halls of Archangel when he heard something.
"Kira!" called out Tolle. He noticed that all of his friends are in EA uniforms except for Conner who is wearing a brown uniform Kira never seen before.
"Tolle! All of you"
"Hi, Kira."
"What's the deal with the outfits?"
"We decided to help out with the ship. They're understaffed, right?"
"They require us to wear military uniforms if we're gonna be in the bridge," explained Kuzzey.
"Except for Conner. That's his standard," said Tolle.
"Who are you really?" asked Kira.
"Well then," said Conner as he gave a salute and smiled. "Lieutenant Junior Grade Conner Johnson of London Bell, at your service."
"ZAFT's military suits are cooler, aren't they?" Tolle wondered out loud as Conner glared at him.
"Uhh I mean London Bell's are better right?"
"Let's just get going. Kira, my MS is still damage so I'll just be in the bridge for the mean time."
"We can't have just you and Conner fight all the time," continued Tolle.
"Given the situation, we'll help however we can," added Miriallia.
"Move on youngsters," interrupted the crewman behind them.
"Bye Kira."
"Oh, and if you're taking off again make sure you wear a pilot's suit this time."
Ra Cailum
"Meran, I need numbers," requested Bright.
"Three Nazca's and two Laurasia's to the rear and four more Nazcas at the front," reported in the commander.
"How many mobile suits do we have ready?"
"All three Jestas are fully repaired. Only two suits of the ECOAS team are ready while one is under repairs and the last one is crippled beyond use. The rest are being rearmed as we speak."
"Alright. What's the status of the ship's repairs?"
"Engines are at 90% output and most of the defensive guns have been repaired. However, only two of our beam cannons are operational sir."
"Archangel?"
"Fully operational along with most of its mobile weapon compliment but Lt. Johnson's unit is still undergoing repairs."
"Okay then."
Bright got up from his seat as he moved to the holographic map.
"So much for the silent run," said the captain as he sighed.
"We're deep inside ZAFT's circle. We can't maneuver outside of it so the only way to get out is to force our way through," explained Meran as he pointed at the hostile's formation.
"Perhaps too deep," suggested Bright.
"Sir?"
"We're just outside their weapon range, meaning they'll send in their mobile suits to take us out. We can just engage the enemy MS while somebody can sneak up on them and disrupt their formation. We then engage the ships at long range amids the confusion and break through the formation."
"And if the ship's try to close in at the same time?"
"They won't."
"And if they do?"
"We'll just wing it."
"Shall I inform the Archangel of your plan?"
"Please do."
Archangel
"So, judging from the outfit, I see that you finally decided to do it," stated Mu as he entered the room with Kira just finishing putting on his light blue pilot suit.
"You said so yourself, Lieutenant," replied Kira as he held his helmet. "Right now, you and I are the only ones who can protect this ship. It's not that I wanna fight, but I do want to protect this ship because of the people on board.
"It's the same for us. You won't find too many people who wish to fight for no reason at all. We fight because unless we fight, we cannot protect."
Kira nodded at that.
"Okay. Let me explain the plan to you."
Meanwhile, one of Archangel's mobile suits was ready for combat.
"Geara Zulu, Rommel to the catapult" came in the PA system.
The green MS was moved to said object as the bay door opened.
"This is Blackhound, ready for launch," said the pilot.
"Blackhound, you are clear."
"Copy that."

The eye of the Zulu flashed too life. The mobile suit bent a little as the catapult activated. Like a bullet exiting the barrel of a gun, the MS bursted out of the Archangel with its thrusters at max output.
"Blackhound?" Mir asked as she currently operated her post as combat controller.
"It's his callsign. Don't ask me how he got it," explained Conner.
"What's yours then?" inquired Sai.
"Atlas"
"How did you get that?"
"Long story."
"Laurasia-class approaching, 50 to stern," suddenly reported an officer.
"Start main engines in two minutes. Strike, prepare to take off," ordered the captain.
Kira waited as the Gundam moved towards the catapult. With a thud, the MS connected to the launch system.
"Catapult connection: Systems all green"
'Is this plan gonna work?' thought Kira. The plan involved the Zero performing a sneak attack at the enemy while the Strike and the Ra Cailum engage the mobile suits.
"Kira!" interrupted a cheerful voice.
"Miriallia?" said a surprised Kira as he looked at her through the screen.
"From now on, I will act as the combat controller for the mobile suits and mobile armor. I'm counting you guys," replied the girl. Kira smiled at that.
The alarm for launch sounded as numerous parts were added to the Strike. The first was a large red pack that contains what appear to be thrusters. The next part appears to be a shield. The last is a gray beam rifle fitted with a scope.
"Kira, you ready?" asked Conner through the comms.
The boy took a breath. He placed his hand on the throttle and he activated the power of the mobile suit. The eyes of the mech flashed as thrusters began to roar to life.
"Yes,"
