When Romania finally arrived at the mansion, one of the nations who had stayed outside led him to the safe room. Once there, he was put to work almost immediately.

"Good, now that you're here we can bring back the others," America said the minute he saw Romania.

"Do I have to?" Romania asked.

"Do you want to leave this mansion?" America asked, and when Romania nodded, he continued with, "Then you have to bring the others back."

Romania sighed before making a portal on the same rug that had been used many times before. Moments later, Italy and his group came through the portal.

"We're back!" Romano exclaimed happily. "I can't believe it!"

Italy just sighed before walking over to America.

"Is Japan back yet?"

"No, and I haven't gotten any further-" America was cut off by his ringing cell phone. He quickly answered and exclaimed, "Japan!" almost right after answering it. After a brief conversation, America said, "Okay, Japan says he's waiting for a portal."

"On it..." Romania muttered as he made another portal. Seconds later, Japan came stumbling out of it with a small smile on his face.

"This means we can finally get out of this awful place!" Italy exclaimed when he saw Japan, eyes full of hope.

"Before we leave the safe room, though, we should probably get our weapons ready. Just in case," America said, bat already in hand.

"Right," Italy agreed, grabbing a few knives. Once everyone had a weapon, they tried waking up England, Norway, and Prussia. Prussia got up pretty easily, since he had only been sleeping, but England and Norway weren't waking up.

"Someone's going to have to carry them," America said, and everyone immediately looked to Russia.

"Why me?" Russia asked with a glare.

"America took a deep breath before saying, "Because you're strong and can easily carry two people at once."

"Fine," Russia said, roughly grabbing the two nations and slinging them over his shoulders. Once they had made sure they had everyone, they headed for the entrance. Once they were out of the safe room, they took extreme caution. After all, they didn't want to run into any monsters. Right before they reached the entrance, though, a giant monster came out of the ceiling, blocking the way out.

"Everyone attack!" Italy yelled, already throwing knives at the giant. It seemed almost unaffected by his attacks, but after multiple slashes and gunshots to its head, it fell down and disappeared, dead. The minute it disappeared, Italy opened the door and they joined up with the nations who had been waiting outside. They all headed for the gate that led out, and once they were all out, the book that Italy had been holding on to disappeared as well, most likely going back to the library inside the mansion.

"We finally made it out!" Italy said, laughing a little. "We're done with that awful mansion forever!"

"Let's go home, fratello!" Romano said, sounding almost as happy as his brother.

Italy nodded, genuinely smiling for the first time in his life.

A/N: Cheesy ending is cheesy, but I figured it had to end happy! After all that Italy went through, he should have a happy ending! I know that there were some things that I probably should have addressed, like the voices Prussia was hearing and the phone calls Russia was making, but I actually completely forgot about those things while writing...whoops...XD But anyways, hope you all liked this story, and thanks for reading this story and the one before it!
