Sorry it took so damn long to update! I just didn't have wifi at my place anymore but I do now! I'll be updating a lot more now!
"I hear she is rather fond of the color red…" Sebastian said, taking out a dress from a bag. "Which raised my suspicion on who this person could be." He muttered. "And this person would be?" I asked, handing him my eye patch and turning around so he could help me get it on. "Never mind, that… it isn't important…" I felt him tense up a bit.
"Sebastian, are you okay?"
He opened his mouth to speak.
"Mistress…"
"We would like…"
"To talk to you…"
The triplets walked up to the door. "Hold that thought, Sebastian." I walked over to the boys. "Yes?" I smiled. Sebastian walked over to my closet to retrieve my shoes and other accessories. They all shuffled a bit until finally Blake walked up and nervously said "We would like to have the n-night off."
"Is that so?"
Boomer took his place and said "Yeah, we made plans and can't stay here…"
Blaze pushed him away and said "We simply ask for one night, a couple of hours, mistress. We will be back by morning." He explained with a sweet smile. I walked up to them. "Hmm… I'm not sure, Samantha still isn't fully recovered and Sebastian is coming with me, someone has to stay and keep her company."
"See? I told you we couldn't leave." Boomer complained. "Will you stop being so inconsiderate? She has a point; we can't just leave Sam all alone."
Blake looked at Blaze with a saddened expression. "Its okay, B…" he held a hand to his cheek. "I… I know…" Boomer held on to Blaze's waist. "We'll go out next week, kay?" Blake nodded. "I… I hate to see you so sad…" Boomer came closer somehow.
They were all extremely close, Blaze and Blake were only millimeters away. I blushed and squealed. "OKAY! AHH, you can go out! J-just leave!" I held a hand over my mouth and felt something running… blood. I turned and face-planted on my bed.
The boys giggled and ran off.
"Are you quite alright, mistress?"
"W-what just happened?"
"I believe they just seduced you into giving them what they wanted." Sebastian smiled. "A part of me wants to forget that ever happened… and the other just wants it to happen again." My eyes were wide as I kept leaking red. He walked up to me and kneeled.
"Now, mistress… I'm sure you can handle something like that… after all…" he took his glove off with his teeth and cleaned the blood from the tip of my nose. "You are a Phantomhive and should be stronger than this…" he came closer and licked off some blood the bed had moved to my cheek after I landed on it. I shuttered and squealed. "So sweet." He smirked before pulling out a handkerchief and cleaning the rest off slowly.
"What is wrong with the males in this house?!" I yell after he finished. I got up and walked to the mirror. "Come now, mistress… I was only kidding; I have too much respect for you to do something like that." He set a hand to my shoulder. "You're all hot, you really think a girl like me isn't gonna be affected?" I turned and asked sarcastically.
"You shouldn't be." He smiled. "I hate you all."
Upon reaching our destination Sebastian set fire to the message we received. "Here we are." He smiled.
I could feel certain nervousness around Sebastian… as if he didn't want to be there. He never feels this way. "Stop." I held out my hand. "What is it, mistress?" he asks. I set a hand on his stomach and wrap my other arm around his waist. I feel him tense up. He wrapped his arms around me. I was holding him to hear his heartbeat… it was normal. "Are you okay, Sebastian?" I ask looking up at him. "Yes? What makes you think something is wrong?" he smiled. He looked so sure of himself, but I could still feel the pressure he was giving out.
"N-nothing, let's just get inside."
We walked in; everything was a dazzling shade of red, I simply fell in love… there was a desk in the distance, the chair was turned and a quite feminine voice spoke. "Welcome, Miss Phantomhive… I have awaited your arrival." I felt Sebastian tense up at the sound of it. "Well, I'm here." I smiled. "I've been simply DYING to see you!" the voice giggled as the chair slowly turned.
Gorgeously red tinted locks tied up in pony tails with bangs covering one of two sweetly glowing green eyes, fabulously polished ruby claw-like nails, slick scarlet lips, thick black eye liner, a low-cut red dress with a short bottom in sexy black tulle and gleaming crimson pumps created the most beautiful woman I had ever seen. I simply had to gasp. I don't think I've ever seen more red in my life!
"And I think I just dyed seeing you." I smiled, walking closer, I left Sebastian behind me. "Oh, really…? Thank you, darling! I've been wondering what you looked like in person." She crawled over the desk and sat on the edge. "And you… BASSY!" she jumped off and landed on my butler. They both fell to the ground. "Bassy? Okay, what the hell is going on here?" I ask, trying not to laugh at the two's adorable position. "I haven't seen you in centuries; I've gotten by just by hearing your voice through the telephone." She pouted, making circles on his chest.
"Why am I not surprised it's you?" Sebastian tried getting up. "Really? Do you not like the way I look?" she pouted again. "You are not all there, are you, Sutcliff?" he finally got up. "Sutcliff?" I asked. "Yes…" Sebastian began, she was still clinging on to his arm and my desires of those two being together on me. "You see, my lady, this man…" I froze. "M-M-MAN?!" my jaw dropped. "YOU'RE A MAN?!" I nearly fainted.
Sebastian stood up. "Yes, his name is Grell Sutcliff. I have known him since I served my former master." The newly declared man was still holding on to him. "Well, at birth… but I assure you I'm more of a woman than anyone, maybe even you, will ever be, Miss Phantomhive." He smirked. I was angry at the comment but attracted by his confidence. Any man who tries to hit on someone like Sebastian after knowing him for so long has to have at least some stroke of bravery… or stupidity.
"Oh yea, that little boy toy of yours is gone, isn't he?" Grell smiled. "Yes… and please don't call him that, it's annoying."
I finally understood why Sebastian was so rigid before.
"So… you two have worked together?" I mumbled. Grell nodded and smiled. "But don't let this little encounter stray us from business. I want you and I to work together on this case since most of the reapers in the area simply take the souls and will not look into the case like I do." He walked back to his desk and sat in his original position.
"Reapers…?"
"Oh, Bassy… you didn't tell her?"
"I didn't know it was you." Sebastian gave him a cold stare. "Oh, right, I forgot!" he smiled. "Come, dear… take a seat." He motioned me over. "Uh, there are no chairs." I looked around. "Uh, on the desk." He mimicked me. I smiled and hopped on the desk. "So tell me, do you think death can solve your problems?" he smiled back. "No." I gave him a straight answer. "Why?"
"Because they'll just stay for someone else to deal with…" I explained.
"Why?"
"Because you're dead… it's not like you never existed there will be memories and problems left behind for others to solve."
"Why?"
'You're being tedious…' I growled in my mind. "Because… just because you die… ugh. Why are you asking this?"
He giggled. "Because… I want to irritate you…"
Figures
"And… I want you to think… what problems would someone who has no need to commit suicide leave behind? Mary Johnson, as I have figured out, had nothing to do with the cult, but her friend did. I believe she was talked into it and she agreed for some reason… she worked for a family here in London, of which I know you are familiar with…" he winked. "I know all this…"
"Well… in that case, here's something you may not know… the cult was a group of reapers." He smirked. "Reapers…" I said curiously. "Yes… I received a report this morning saying five of our finest reapers had been dead…"
Of course, me not knowing about the supernatural, I had to ask how strange that was…
"Shinigami never die."
I looked at him while he smiled. "And you think they were involved in the suicide?"
"Yes… you see the younger reapers have gotten in their head that death would be something nice to experience… I can be killed a million times and still be alive but since they're at their young age they don't have that advantage."
"So I take it, Mary was the only human?"
"That's right… but I still need to know who the leader of this little caper was…"
"Reapers…" I smiled.
We went back home after a while of discussing with her highness. "Sebastian." I looked up to him while he served my tea. "Do you really not like Grell?" he froze. I smirked. "You get really nervous when I even mention him now… why is that?" I smiled. "Mistress, please, you have much work to do, you have no time to ask such silly questions." I can tell it was hard for him to manage a smile. "Answer me." I took his tie. "Now, now…" he tried backing up but I pulled him closer. "Answer me."
He smirked. "Is that an order?"
"Well it's not a bloody suggestion." I smirked back. "I have nothing against the reaper… nor do I have something in favor of him. Now, if you excuse me…" he took his tie back. "I have business to see to." He smiled. "So pertinent." I whispered. He turned and bowed. "Just gimme a straight answer." I smiled. "You ordered me to answer… I did." He walked out.
"YOU'RE A SMART ASS, MICHAELIS!"
