Serenity's POV
I pushed my new brooch in front of me, and it started slowing a bright white. It suddenly had thousands of little bright lights exploding of it, and where they touched me, my fuku appeared. A white leotard appeared, then my white skirt, my heart odango covers, and white heeled shoes. I waved the hand holding my broach down my front, and a second broach appeared in the middle of my skirt. A wave of light in different colours travelled down from it, and then two red ribbons. Little wings appeared on the back of my shoes and then on my broach. I placed my broach onto my chest, where a white sailor collar appeared and then little wings became the 'bow' for my broach. My cosmos sign appeared, held there by a 'crown' made by gold beads. A white cape flowed down my back, and little angel wings appeared on my shoes and sleeves. Finally, I reached into the air and my wand appeared in my hand.
I was soon standing back on the ground, and gave everyone a smile.
"Was it impressive?" I asked, and they all nodded, grinning. I was smiling my brightest smile, because I forgot how amazing it was to transform. I could feel the power running through me, the power in my wand. I missed this – being part of a group of people who were powerful like me. I turned to look at Andrew.
"So… Who's the prettiest Senshi?" I asked, teasing him. I knew he liked Galaxia. The looks he kept giving her, the way he smiled when she said something. I know they've only just met, but I have this feeling that they've met before. Somewhere. In a different life perhaps…
A love as great as the galaxy,
Shining like a star,
Large and encompassing,
The love they hold for each other will never die…
Where did that come from? That poem… a memory. I heard it, that poem, when I lived on the moon. I always thought it was about me and Darrien, but when I found out he had been cheating on me with her the entire time we knew each other, in both lives, I knew it wasn't about us. Was it – Was it about who Galaxia loved? About how much they loved each other, her and him. That would be awesome! I think Summer could use some love from a person that's not a friend.
I suddenly had a foreboding feeling, and instantly recognised it. Youma. I looked over at the others, and they all had made faces, obviously feeling the same thing. Galaxia looked at me, and I nodded at her.
"Alright. That feeling you just felt was a youma by our newest and grooviest enemy. We'll go and take the roof tops to find it, and for today, I want you all too mainly try your powers, see what you can do. I think the new enemy will be too powerful for the Sailor Scouts of the Quadrant, so it'll be up to us to take it out. This sound good to all of you?" I asked, and they nodded.
"Right then, let's go ladies. We have lives to save and an enemy to meet. Off we go!" Summer said, walking to the door, but not before shooting a fleeting look to the back of Andrew's head. I looked at Nebula, Quasar and Kuiper.
"You will be able to reach super human speeds while running, and are indestructible, but don't try to get hurt. You will still take the same amount of time to heal. Also, if you feel out of your depth, just step back and Galaxia or I will take over, as we have had the most recent practise, ok?" I said, trying to make them understand that it was ok if they didn't participate in this fight, but learnt from it. If I learnt anything from being Sailor Moon, it was that the best way to learn how to defeat the enemy is to watch, learn, and then act. But it's not like those thoughts ever stopped me before.
"Alright, enough of the chit chat. Let's go kick some bad-guy butt!" Sailor Kuiper cried, pumping a fist into the air. I smiled and shook my head.
"As Kuiper says, let's go kick some butt" I giggled as I ran out the door and into the back ally, then jumped onto the roof. Within seconds I had Galaxia, Kuiper, Quasar and Nebula standing behind me. Galaxia's left hand bracelet was beeping, telling us which way the youma was. We started running and leaping across the rooftops, towards the Melrose Park in downtown Juban.
Reye's POV
"A new enemy is at Melrose Park. We have to get there, now!" I screeched at the other Sailor Scouts, and everyone transformed, including Luna, Artemis and Darrien. I loved it when Darrien transformed. He always looked so good in that suit.
We got to Melrose Park in record time, and we saw the black blob-like thing moving around. Everywhere it moved, it sucked the life energy from everything, leaving grey remanets in its wake. The trees and the grass were shrivelled up and dead, but the worst part was the people. Corpses, grey and shrivelled, with blank, lifeless eyes staring up, unseeing. I heard Venus and Jupiter gasp, and saw Mercury's eyes filling with tears. I turned to look them all in the eyes.
"Look, I know this is horrible, but we have to prevent other civilian deaths. Get the other civilians out of here and then we will-" I stopped speaking as I became aware of five incredibly powerful presences, much more powerful than us. I could see the other scouts looking perplexed as they felt them, and I looked at Pluto.
"Do you know who these new presences are?" I asked, and she shook her head.
"I've never seen them inside the futures I can see. I don't know where they came from, or if they are on our side" she explained, and I looked towards Sailor Luna who had a confused look on her face. Looking around, I saw where the five presences were. I nudged the closest scouts, and everyone looked towards them. The sun was setting behind them, obscuring what they looked like from our sight. They suddenly came into focus as the sun dipped lower, and we all gasped.
They quickly dispersed, three of them getting the rest of the civilians to safety, and the other two fighting the blob, the girl in gold and the girl in white. The Sailor Scout in gold yelled out her attack, raising her gold bracelets towards the blob as they glowed.
"Galaxia Matter Destroyer!" and two shots of light came out of them and hit the blob. It started shrinking, and she nodded towards the white girl.
"Finish it" she called, and the white Scout nodded. Something about those two was so familiar, I knew them from somewhere – oh. She was back, here on earth. Why?
"It's Sailor Galaxia!" I whisper shouted to the others, and heard them all give nods or gasps or recognition. The white Sailor Scout though, where was she from…
She raised her staff, and it started glowing.
"Cosmos Silver Eternal Shatter!" she cried, and something about that reminded me of Sailor Moon and how she sounded the same when she called out her attacks. I narrowed my eyes. Serena could not transform anymore unless she had some incredibly powerful beings helped her. We made sure we damaged the Silver Imperium Crystal.
The blob disappeared, and then the Sailor Scout in pale blue with a little bit of yellow on her fuku walked forward.
"Quasar, please heal these people and this place for us" the girl in white asked, and Sailor Quasar nodded, then placed her hands on the ground.
"Quasar Healing Matter!" she whispered, and pale blue light flowed from her hair clips, down her arms, then into the ground. It flowed out from around her, like a kind of water, healing and bringing back to life everything it touched, including the people. I looked at Luna and leaned down to whisper to in her ear.
"How are they so powerful?"
"I don't know. I've never seen any of them before, with the exception of Galaxia, and she looked different last time we saw her" she replied, and I nodded, satisfied the no one knew anything I didn't know. And she was right. Last time we saw Galaxia she had a ridiculous hair style, and now her hair was free and flowing down to her ankles.
Once everything was healed, Sailor Quasar stood up and they all walked towards us.
"Who are you?" Uranus growled in their direction, and the centre girl giggled softly and looked towards her friends.
"Don't remember us Uranus? We'll have to introduce ourselves then" they all walked forward until they were less than a meter away.
"My name is Sailor Quasar" the girl in blue that had just healed everything said, and the girl that looked like her nodded then began talking.
"I am Sailor Kuiper." Sailor Kuiper was all silver and black velvet, and was identical to her apparent sister Sailor Quasar. Come to think of it, they looked awfully familiar… I know I've seen them before, in this life and my last.
The girl with short red hair and a floaty, glimmering blue/purple Sailor fuku smiled at us sadly, then introduced herself.
"You can call me Sailor Nebula"
"I am Sailor Galaxia, as you know" Galaxia said, and we all glared at her. She let out a long-suffering sigh, and then explained to us how she was mind controlled to do all the bad things she did, how she had suffered in his hands, and how Sailor Moon had saved her from Chaos. I nodded curtly, not wanting to trust her fully, then looked towards the girl in white.
The Sailor Scout in white was beautiful. Well, not as beautiful as me, obviously, but she was pretty. She seemed to glitter with power and seemed to have a massive knowledge behind her eyes, mixed with love, happiness and a whole lot of sadness and disappointment that seemed directed at my scouts, and mainly me. Well, two can play that game. I think it's time to turn up the bitchiness.
She stepped forward, and raised her chin slightly.
"I am Sailor Cosmos… and we are the Infinity Scouts" she said, her voice warm and captivating, "and I recommend that you don't join this fight. It is for beings more powerful than you are, and you will just get hurt"
"What? No! I will never not fight!" I cried in outrage, stepping closer towards her, until we were inches apart.
"That was always the way with you, wasn't it Mars?" she said softly, her voice carrying to anyone who was listening "you could never back down from a fight, you couldn't handle not being the best, so you pushed the one person you swore to protect into danger, and tried to kill her. Well guess what?" she took a deep breath, then started walking away, the rest of the Infinity scouts following her. She looked back over her shoulder, and spoke seven words that scared me. Scared me that we hadn't done our job properly, hadn't finished her off like we had to because she was weak.
"What doesn't kill you makes you stronger" she whispered, and I stood as still as a statue.
Cosmos couldn't be Serena. Serena was gone, powerless. And Sailor Cosmos was so much more infinity powerful than Sailor Moon could ever hope to be, the little scum bag that she is. Cosmos defiantly couldn't be Serena.
Could she?
