It certainly was odd walking around with crutches. She only had to endure it for a week though. She hopped awkwardly along the path. The top of the crutches dug into her arm. Sakura cringed. "Only a week," she thought, gritting her teeth. "Only a week."

Sasuke was staring at the sky. What was he feeling and why? He felt a longing for her; he wanted to see her desperately. Was this what love felt like? He wasn't sure he was even capable of loving anymore. He shook his head. He wanted to stop thinking about this. What was this feeling?

Sakura hopped feebly down the path towards home. She looked up at the grey clouds.
"I think it might rain." Sakura said to herself as she continued home.

Sasuke looked up at the sky as he was lost in his thoughts. He sighed. Rain again??
"I think it might rain." Sasuke said to himself as he thought about his feelings toward Sakura.

Sakura looked around confused. Was it just paranoia, or did some one just say the same thing with her. She shrugged. "It must have been my imagination." She muttered as she arrived home. Sakura opened her front door and hopped inside. The moment she shut her door it began to rain outside. Sakura giggled as Naruto ran past her house soaking wet.

Sasuke shut his eyes. He thought maybe if he went to sleep he would have a pleasant dream instead of a nightmare about Sakura. He heard rain begin to fall around him. "I wonder if Sakura's getting rained on." Sasuke thought. He nearly smiled when he imagined Sakura dancing like a ballerina in the rain at the training field. He saw her twirling and dancing beautifully. She jumped and turned and twisted so gracefully. He was so occupied imagining her, he barely noticed himself fall into a peaceful sleep. He dreamt of her as beautiful as ever. Her pink hair swirled around her head in the rain, her emerald eyes sparkling. She laughed and held out her hand to Sasuke. He took her hand and pulled her close to him and she giggled. He pulled her face up to his. She pushed her face forward close to his.
"BOOM!!!!" Thunder cracked. Sasuke was jolted awake.
"ERRRR!!!!!!" he yelled frustrated. "NO!!" He pounded his fist on the ground.

Sakura was on her bed once again staring at her picture of the old team Seven. "Where are you Sasuke?" Sakura wondered aloud. She felt tears coming to the surface of her eyes. She tried desperately to suppress them, but finally gave in. Tears began to flow freely down her cheeks. She shut her eyes in a desperate attempt to stop them, but she failed.

Sasuke got up from his spot at the base of the cherry tree and began running. He ran as fast as he could. He was furious that the dream had stopped. As he ran he realized where he was and stopped. He looked up at what loomed above him; the walls of Konoha.
