Hey guise! I'm so sorry for the long wait on this story and all my other ones. I also apologize in advance for the poor quality of this chapter. I need a filler to lead into the real fun... (jk. it's gonna pain me to write about what Karen has in store for the Mason bros. *lol like Mario bros. bwahahaha!*) Read on please...but i'm also sorry.

"Ben?" Hal asked.

"Hal?" Ben replied.

"Oh my God, Ben! Are you okay? How do you feel?"

The younger Mason coughed. He tried to flex his muscles, but winced in pain. "I'm…okay," he said.

Hal knew his brother well enough to know that he was lying, but he decided to stay quiet. He was just happy that Ben was even alive. "I've been so worried! The whole family's been so worried! What happened? How long have you been here?"

"Um, we were attacked. I didn't get away."

"And how long ago was this?"

"Two months…I think. I'm not sure. My sense of time isn't that good anymore."

Two months.

Two months.

Hal didn't even want to try and imagine what could've have happened in that long of a time period. He remembered Karen saying that they wanted information. He's seen movies before. He knows that that didn't mean anything good. And he bet that the aliens had more…interesting devices. Hal couldn't believe how Ben would've survived them. His poor little brother. The middle Mason looked so pale and dirty. He looked like crap, but he still looked defiant.

His poor. Little. Brother.

Hal couldn't believe it. Ben had been here for two. Whole. Freaking. Months. And he hadn't come until now. He was so angry with himself. How could he have done that? "I'm sorry," Hal said.

"For what?" he heard Ben reply.

"For not looking for you sooner. I should have looked for you sooner. I left you here. I'm so sorry. I'm so, so, so sorry. Ben, I—"

"Shut up."

"What?"

"Shut up. Stop talking like that."

"Like what?"

"Like it's your fault. Like you're the worst person in the world."

"It is my fault. And not only am I the worst person in the world, I'm the worst brother."

"That's not true."

"Ben, I left you here! I left you here alone! All alone."

"You worry too much. I'm alive, aren't I?"

"Yeah, but—"

"Okay. There ya go. I'm alive. I'm fine."

"I wouldn't call you fine. You look horrible."

"Well I feel fine."

"Yeah. Cause I'm so gonna believe you."

"What's that supposed to mean?"

"You know! Ben, you're a horrible liar. I can't even get close to describing how bad."

"Ya know what—"

"I think that we should probably start thinking of an escape plan," Hal said, cutting his brother off. Ben scowled at his older sibling but changed topics.

"Karen said she'd be back soon so—" the eldest Mason son was cut off by a voice.

"Yes. I did say that. And here I am. And look, Ben's up. This is where the real fun begins. Ben, what you experienced isn't even close to what I have in store now that our beloved Hal is here with us."

Hal looked and his eyes widened to see that Ben was actually quivering. It wasn't super noticeable, but Hal could clearly see a shudder run thorugh his little brother's frame.

The important part was that they both got out of there safely. The only thing? They still needed time to think of a plan. But from the sound of Karen's words, it seemed that the Mason boys had a lot to expect.

Disgusting. Horrible. I know. Sorry. Bad chapter, Fiction-Fangirl. I understand and i am terribly sorry.

But review, follow, and favorite anyway! Cuz u love me? Maybe you guys could write in a review some torture methods you want to occur...lol. Yah but srsly, expect some future pain for both of the boys. I'm sorry. It's just my writing style. But i won't kill. No killing. Not my writing style.
