Author's note: I am back and still don't own any aspect of the Joker/Clover/Heart/Diamond no Kuni no Alice series, but I do own the OCs in this story! I'm sorry for forcing you all to endure the long wait for an update. Alas my laptop had a few issues. Turns out, my battery and charger were bad. My dad, bless his acute hoarding habits, found an old charger from a little TV (that he hasn't touched in two years) he had that works well enough for my computer. Sadly, I have yet to get it a battery. So if the wire shifts too much, I lose everything I didn't save. *cries* I don't want to say how many times that's happen already. Anyways, please enjoy the newest chapter of "I Don't Forget, I Choose Not To Remember" and please review.

Grey is a manly man. He is not motherly. I will not call Grey motherly in any way shape or form ever again. He is just uuummmm daddy like in a girly way! Yeah, that's it! He's doing the dishes without being asked, getting ready to give a hiding Nightmare his medicine like a daddy does to a bratty kid, AND he's talking about taking me dress shopping! Mr. Gibblies used to do all that! Daddy did to, before he...I'm not going to finish that thought…In fact, I going to forget it.

I like that Grey is slightly daaa—nice legal guardian like, it's nice. BUT I have to think of a way to go clothes shopping WITHOUT Grey. Or else its pink frills and ruffles city for me here on out. It's bad enough I'm still wearing the pink, puffy thing he picked out for me earlier, but I can't walk around like this forever. It may add to my adorableness, but it's not comfy. I can't move around as much as I want and the skirt feels weird, too drafty…not to mention I'm afraid someone will see my booty if the skirt flies up or I trip. Yeah, no one's allowed to see the booty…ever.

"Alright, now that these dishes are finished, let's go find Master Nightmare and give him his medicine. Then we can head into town." That smile, it makes me want to agree with everything he says…IT'S NOT FAIR! How am I supposed to weasel my way out of shopping with him if he smiles like THAT?!

But I just nod my head and go to get up, only to find Grey already carrying me and my crutches again. I give him a sweet smile and rap my arms around his neck. I doubt he'll drop me, but you can't be too careful. He's really tall and it's a long way down to the floor. You know, I'm starting not to mind not having to walk around. Wait! Focus!

Alright, I can't let Grey know I don't want to go shopping with him. Under no circumstances can I upset him again. Last time made me feel really, really guilty, even though I was saving his stomach. So let's see, it could take Grey a long time to find Nightmare, and even longer to actually give him his medicine. Plus there's all that paper work Nightmare didn't do. So Grey would have to make sure he does it…I GOT IT! I use Nightmare as an excuse! I'll just ask Grey if I can go shopping with a faceless while he makes Nightmare take his medicine and work!

"How could you! I thought we were friends!" I jump and tighten my grip on Grey when Nightmare slams a door next to us open, screaming at me. I inwardly smirk at the opening Nightmare gave me. Putting a scared look on my face, I shove my head in Grey's neck and start shaking. Adding a few crocodile tears and sniffs, I say in a trembling voice, "G-Greeey! N-n-nightmare b-being really scaryyy! And, and he sounds so mad!" I look Grey in the face with teary eye and say, "D-d-did I do something bad?" After I see the evil glare he gives Nightmare, I hide my face in Grey's neck again and continue to act upset. I inwardly smirk. Uh-oh Nightmare, you're in trouuuuuble!

"Master Nightmare, I think we need to go have a serious talk about your most recent behavior." Nightmare's objections are ignored as Grey moves me to look him in the eyes. In a gentle tone he says, "Amelia, I'm sorry but Master Nightmare and I are going to have a private conversation. Do you mind waiting until we're done to go shopping?" I didn't notice when five knives appear out of nowhere and trap Nightmare to the wall by his clothes, before he could run away. I did notice the quick and very sharp glare Grey sent him. Ignoring Nightmares cries, I give Grey a teary eyed pout.

"B-but don't you have to give him his medicine, a-and what about all the u-unfinished papers on his desk? T-there were sooo many, h-how will we know if he gets them done if-if no one's here to make sure?" When a look of realization crosses his face, I know Grey has no idea what to do. He thinks it over n silence before letting out a disappointed sigh.

"I guess there's no choice. I'll have to postpone some of my work." Now it's time to save my fashion future!

"Grey, why don't I just go with some of the faceless that work here, that way you don't fall behind on your work," I say in a sad voice, looking down.

"Are you sure, Amelia? I could always do it after." I give him a weak smile that makes it seem like I just don't want to cause him trouble. And he buys it completely.

"But then you'll have to rush. Nicky always said you should never hold off or rush work. If you do that, you could make a lot of mistakes and will have to spend more time fixing them." I remember the first time she told me that. Well, something close.

"This is soooo boring! Nicky, why can't I just help you bake?"

"Shut it Amy, I told you to finish that shit on Friday!"

"But homework sucks!"

"I don't give a fuck! I told you to finish it right after school so you could have the weekend to do whatever the hell you wanted! But you didn't. Now you have to deal with the consequences."

"Humph!"

"Don't get all huffy with me. You can't wait until the last second to do shit. If you didn't want to do it from the start, what the hell makes you time you're gonna want do it when you're out of time? Hell, what makes you think you're gonna do it right?"

"I just wanted to hang out with you…"

"You know that's not the point. When it comes to work, you do it. Fuck, I would've helped you to make sure you did it right. But since you held it all off until today, I don't have the time."

"…"

"Come on Amy, don't give me that look. If I didn't get a huge ass order this morning, I would. You know that."

"Yeah, I know."

"You get why I'm saying this, right?"

"Yeah, if I'd listened to you, I would already be done."

"Exactly, and you would've had more time to check over your answers to make sure they were right. I procrastinated a lot when I was in school, and fucked myself over a lot because of it. That's why I'm making sure you get what I'm saying."

"Yeah, I get it."

I'm glad Nicky made sure I understood that. It made school work go by a lot quicker when I stopped holding it off. My grades even went up. I didn't notice Nightmare heave a relieved sigh and stop struggling for a moment, before remembering his situation and starting up again.

"I suppose you're right, but are you sure you'll be alright without me?" I nod at Grey, making him let out a sigh. "Well, if you're sure." With that, Grey makes the arrangements for my little outing, all while Nightmare is still stuck to the wall. I smirk in my head. Yeah, he's not getting down anytime soon. Nightmare starts whining.

About fifteen minutes later, at the entrance to Clover Tower, Grey is still holding me but we're standing in front of my "escorts". I will admit I wasn't expecting to have a mini army go with me. Okay, that was a little over the top, but seriously? Do I need ten grownups to take me shopping? Isn't that a bit much?

"Alright Amelia, here's some spending money. I'm going to put it in your pocket, be careful not to lose it." Holy Goblin King, this pink thing had pockets?! How did I not notice that? I wouldn't have hid the little bottle in my room if I'd known about them. Ah well, the evil faceless lady didn't see where I put it, so it's probably safer there. At least for now, I'll have to find a new hiding spot for it later…maybe Grey's room…Actually, that'll work nicely. I'll just have to find it later.

"Thanks Grey and I'll be careful!" I just sit there smiling at him, waiting to be put down. He frowns a little, looking between me and the group of Faceless. I can feel him tightening his grip on me a little. Realizing he isn't planning on letting me go, I tap his forehead. He glances back at me and I smile and give him a hug. "Don't worry Grey. I'll be back before you know it!" I hear a couple awwww's coming from the group of faceless, mostly from the few girls, but they're really quiet.

Grey sighs before putting me down and giving me my crutches. When I'm set, he crouches in front of me and puts his hands on my shoulders. I just tilt my head confused. "Stay safe." With that he gives my shoulders a gentle squeeze before standing up. Giving the faceless a very, very serious look he says, "Make sure nothing happens to her, at all. And have her back as soon as possible," he glares at them, "understood?" Some of the faceless start shaking, but they stiffly nod their heads.

Wow…Scary Grey is sooo coooool~! Hehe~ luckily he likes me! I hobble past the frozen faceless, hoping they get in trouble. When I hear a couple eeps, I know I succeeded. Ooooh this is going to be fun! And these adults will be easy to sneak away from if they annoy or bore me! I wonder how much trouble I can get them in. I inwardly grin evilly.

"Oh Miss. Amelia," my eyes widen at the voice, "please slow down. You wouldn't want to hurt yourself!" I stiffly look over my shoulder and freeze. How did I not see her before? Oh Goblin King, why? Why would you allow the evil eyeless woman be part of the group?! She loved seeing me dressed like this! She'll pick out more of the same crap I'm wearing! "Oh my, you wrinkled your dress! Here, hold still!~"

I just stand there, frozen, while she smooth's out my poufy dress skirt…Now I have to give these guys the slip. I don't have a choice anymore. I could've talked the others into letting me get what I want, but not this lady. She likes me wearing frilly, girly, ribbony crap too much.

"Now come, come let's go! I know the perfect little boutique to take you! It has so many cute little dresses that will look adorable on you!~" Yeah, bitch gotta go. She starts prancing ahead, waving for everyone to follow her. All of them, but one happily, trot behind her, leaving me and the guy to take up the rear. I hear him scoff, and start grumbling as we continue to walk into town.

"How did I get stuck on babysitting duty?" I raise an eyebrow at him. "Fucking waste of time, having to watch some snot nosed, little shit."

"You know, I'm hobbling right here." He jumps and snaps his head in my direction. I smile at him.

"Shit! Where the hell did you come from?" He forwards his eyebrows and scowls. I give him an innocent look.

"Weeeell, nine years ago, a man and a woman thought it would be fun, so they got together and had a night of non-stop se—"

"Whoa, whoa, whoa, WHOA! Stop right there! I don't need to hear that." I laugh. "And aren't you a little young to know about all that shit?"

I just shrug, "Eh, probably." He shanks his head, muttering. Something tells me we're going to get along just fine. "Soooo, what's your name?" He raises an eyebrow at me, frowning.

"Why the fuck you want to know?" Yep, he's going to be fun to talk to.

"Because I'm fucking curious," I say without missing a beat. He makes a choking sound, causing me to grin.

"Now I know you're too young to be talking like that."

"When did you start cursing?"

"…" He looks away, scratching his stubbly chin sheepishly. "…None your damn business…"

"So, six then?" I see his cheeks go pink as he coughs into his fist. "Yep, definitely six!" His head drops in shame.

"Annoying brat…It's Jonathan," he mumbles, not looking at me.

"Huh?" He shoves his hands in his pockets, not meeting my confused stare.

"My name, it's Jonathan." Oh!

"Well Johnny," I quickly hobble in front of him, and stick my hand out to him, "it's nice to meet cha! I'm Amelia!" He just stands there in shock.

"Johnny? The fuck?!" His face goes bright red and he pulls a hand out of his pocket to make a fist, shaking it in front of himself. "I didn't say you could call me that, you fucking brat!" Aaaawww he's embarrassed! I grab his hand and give it a firm shake and giggle.

"You're really funny, Jonny!" He sputters a bit before ripping his hand away from me, shoving it back into his pocket. I see his entire face go red, even his ears.

"Aaaawwwww SO CUTE!" We snap our heads to look behind me and see the rest of our group blushing, and crying about how cute we are; Jonny blushes harder at the gushing, while I giggle innocently.

"Oh John, I didn't know you could be so adorable!"

"I know, right?! He always looks so angry! But look at that blush!"

"Oh my goodness! Who would've thought he was really such a sweet softy?! It's just too cute!"

I look back at Johnny and see his face is, amazingly, redder than it was before. He's shaking, there's a couple veins pulsing on his forehead and neck, and there's a bark shadow covering the upper half of his face. Oh, he does not look happy. I can't help but giggle before I hobble a little to the side. The other faceless are still commenting on how "cute" we are. Every time they say the word "cute," "adorable," and "sweet," he ground his teeth together. At least until he finally snaps.

"Will you all SHUT THE FUCKING HELL UP, YOU ANNOYING PIECES OF FUCKING HORSE SHIT!" He stomps a head of the now stunned group. I giggle and quickly hobble away from everyone, disappearing amongst the crowd of people in the town. Well, that was fun! And I met someone else who's fun to tease! Well, now to get clothes that are my style! Wait, whose going to carry the bags?...DAMMIT ALL!

Again, I am sorry for the long wait, please forgive me. I beg you…please? *puppy face*

Oh, and by the way, chapter two of "Nicky In Wonderland" is up, for those who like the one-shot series.
