A/N: Hello all! I was so excited by all your reviews I decided to make this story my first update this morning! I know it's a little late but better late than never, right? Anyway, I wanted to say thank you all for being so amazing and answer a few questions. My first answer is, yes of course they're going to kiss! I wouldn't dare skip that especially since it's a romance! And two, all I'm going to say is the Cullens WILL show up, but it's going to happen one by one, and you'll see how! Unfortunately that's all I can say, so enjoy the chapter!

Disclaimer: It isn't mine and it won't ever be mine. End of story.

Jasper POV: With one last deep breath I said, "Bella I-"

"Hey Bella, Jasper! There you guys are! We've been looking everywhere for you guys!" Angela's chipper voice called. I internally groaned. Would anyone just leave us be?

"Hey Ang," Bella sighed, smiling at her. "Sorry, we took off because we thought you guys were going to do some stuff together like you said."

"Oh we did. But we were thinking of heading home and just didn't want you guys to try and look for us when we weren't here. Do you guys want to come? We could go grab a bite or something."

Bella looked sideways at me, I was about to tell her it would be alright if we went, since it would be what she wanted. Bella however, surprised me. "Um, no thanks Ang, it's fine. I think me and Jazz were planning on catching a movie anyway. You guys go on, have fun."

"Are you sure?" Angela asked, her eyebrows knitting together in question. "You can come with us if you want."

"Angela seriously," Bella leaned forward to shove her playfully. "Get out of here."

She smiled and took Ben's hand. "Well okay," she smiled. "If you change your mind, we'll be at the diner. If not, I'll see you guys next Monday. Have a good spring break!" with that her and Ben disappeared back into the mess of people leaving Bella and I alone again.

Bella turned towards me and said, "So what did you want to tell me, Jazz?"

All of a sudden the nerves took over and I couldn't do it. I couldn't look her right in her beautiful chocolate brown eyes and pour out my soul to her, no matter how much I wanted to. "It can wait for another time, darlin'," I promised in a whisper, moving a strand of gorgeous dark brown hair from her face.

I felt her disappointment flood me then, and a pang of guilt tore through me. Maybe I should just tell her, I thought miserably. What's the worst thing that could happen? Um, let's see, she could reject you, push you away, tell you to leave and then never come back, my pessimistic side was arguing with me.

"Okay," she replied softly, her disappointment was slowly fading now. "Well, do you want to go and watch a movie at your house? You guys have a collection of DVDs so big it could stock a rental store for months."

I had to laugh at that, because she couldn't have been more correct. "Sure. Have anything in mind?"

She shook her head. "Nope, I guess not. I haven't watched a decent movie in a long time, so I was kind of hoping you could pick one out for us."

Hope was springing inside her and… longing? I had never picked that out of her emotions before. Was it possible that this sweet, perfect human was longing for me? I mean, she'd had a fear of rejection inside her when I started to tell her how I felt, right? Or had that just been me projecting it onto her?

I quickly cleared the thought from my mind, knowing that it was absolutely impossible, no matter what I'd felt from her earlier. "Sure darlin," I flashed a smile. "Let's go."

About ten minutes later I was parking the car in front of the garage and helping her out. I offered her my hand, but she wrapped herself around my arm and laid her cheek against it.

Taking a moment to appreciate her warmth so close to me, something began to nag at my mind. "You should have told her, you idiot! Look at how close you two are now! She must feel something. My mind was half scolding, half hoping.

I moved myself to turn towards her, but something caught my attention that I didn't notice before. An all too familiar beat up silver Jeep was right on the edge of our lawn. All I could seem to do was stare open mouthed at it, a part of me not believing they were here, the other part angry that he'd come without telling me.

"Jazz, what is it," Bella asked, pulling on my arm. Seeing it was to no avail, her eyes followed mine and I heard her gasp, and all of a sudden she'd let go of my hand and run into the house.

I quickly hurried into the house and heard her laughing. "I just can't believe you're here!" came her voice, sounding slightly strangled.

"Well believe it, baby sis! I'm here, and staying!" a booming voice, (one that I had not realized how much I missed) chuckled.

Walking into the kitchen, I saw Bella squeezed tightly to Emmett's chest. "Em-" she choked out. "Can't- Breathe!"

"Sorry Bella," he chortled and stepped back, looking over her appraisingly. "Wow, Bells! Is it me or did you get even more beautiful since we left? Isn't she beautiful, Jazz?"'

Bella turned around to look at me, those breathtaking chocolate eyes nearly bearing themselves into my soul. Meanwhile Emmett the Idiot was wiggling his eyebrows at me, knowing exactly what I thought about her.

"I personally think Bella's always been breathtaking beyond belief, there is no way she could have become more beautiful, because she was already the most beautiful girl in the world before," I stated with sincerity completely clear in my voice.

Bella blushed and looked at the floor. If I were human, I knew my face would have been flaming as well.

"There's that blush again! I've been waiting for that!"

"Shut up you dolt," I rolled my eyes and went to clap him on the shoulder. "Good to see you, Em. Why didn't you let me know you'd be here?"

"Well, we didn't want to interrupt you lovebirds on your date and besides, we live here too anyway.

"We?" Bella asked, confused.

"We," I confirmed, smiling warmly. "Did you think he'd ever come home without Rose?"

"He wouldn't dare, he knows I'd probably tear him apart and bury the pieces if he did," came an amused voice from the foyer.

When I turned around, my sister was in front of me one second and embracing me the next. "Hi Jasper," she whispered as she embraced me tightly.

Rosalie pulled back and took my face between her hands. "Are you alright?" she asked, her golden eyes filled with concern.

"Never been better, Rosie," I whispered. "Thank you."

Nodding again, she pulled away and smiled shyly at Bella. "Hello, Bella. How have you been?"

Bella's shock at receiving any kind of warm gesture from Rose was nearly amusing. "H-hello Rosalie," she whispered timidly. "I've been better since Jasper got here. How have you been?"

Her eyebrows furrowed. "What do you mean better since he got here?" Rose wondered, sounding confused, and not answering Bella's question. "Were you not well before he was here?"

She shrugged. "Honestly I was awful before he got here. I missed you all so much. Edward told me to forget any of you ever existed, but it was impossible for me. You guys are my family."

Bella's eyes filled with tears and I went to comfort her, shooting waves of happiness her way. She smiled gratefully at me before wiping her eyes.

A growl ripped through Emmett's throat and Rosalie's mouth hung in a large "O".

"Why that little-," Emmett proceeded to call our scumbag of a brother every unspeakable name in the book.

"I never knew… I-I mean he never told me that he said any of that. Bella, I'm so sorry," Rose whispered, looking distraught. If vampires could cry, I think Rosalie would be right now.

"It's alright," Bella smiled sadly. "It was never your fault. And besides, I'm better off without him," she looked a little sheepish, and Emmett and Rosalie both cast a glance at me.

I couldn't look back at them, though. I was too enchanted by Bella. What did she mean she was better off without him? She's never said that before, at least not out loud. Did that mean she was in love with someone else? Did that mean it could be me?

"Um," Bella smiled uncomfortably. "I need to get home to Charlie, I think. I'll be back tomorrow morning if that's alright?"

Her expression looked so hopeful as she stared into my eyes it was too adorable to refuse. "Of course, darlin'. You're welcome here any time you like, you know better than to ask me if you can come. And besides," I smirked. "I don't think Emmett here will leave you be now that he's seen you."

"Nope," Emmett shook his head like a defiant four year old. "I want to spend some time with my baby sister!"

Bella laughed, and her eyes glinted brightly with happiness. "Then I promise I'll be back first thing tomorrow," she walked over and hugged him, and then lingered near Rosalie awkwardly.

"Bella, would it be alright if we had a chat tomorrow? Just you and I? I never really got much of a chance to know you when you were with Edward, not that I really allowed myself to," she amended. "But I'd like to fix that now if it's alright with you."

"Sure Rose," Bella grinned. "I'd honestly like that a lot."

Rosalie smiled and hugged Bella for a moment before releasing her to me. "I'll take you home darlin'," I took her hand and led her back outside.

About five minutes later I parked in front of Bella's house. "Sorry about Rose and Em," I said. "I didn't even know they'd show up. Emmett told me they wanted to come next week."

"Jazz, it's okay," Bella squeezed my hand reassuringly and I tried to ignore the jolt that went through me. "You know I love Emmett to death, I was just kind of shocked that Rosalie was so… nice. Is that bad?"

I chortled at that, understanding where she was coming from. "I was sort of surprised too actually," I agreed. "But I'm happy that she actually wants to spend time with you."

"I am too. It's going to be nice. At least Rose won't force me to be 'Barbie Bella'," she giggled.

"Rose isn't like that, darlin'," I assured her. "Of course she cares about style, but she isn't an obsessive freak like Alice," I shook my head as memories of Alice running through Tokyo with about 50 neon colored shopping bags flooded my brain.

"I'll see you tomorrow?" I asked hopefully.

"Of course you will," she beamed, and excitement coursed through her. Maybe it was because she wanted to spend the day with Em and Rose?

"Goodnight Bella," I smiled, hugging her softly before she got out of the car.

I heard her sigh contentedly and fought the urge to do the same. "Goodnight Jazz," she said before releasing me and heading into her house.

I drove home in a daze, so by the time I entered the living room I was only vaguely aware that both Emmett and Rosalie were staring at me as I sat in the chair across from them. "So I take it you didn't tell her tonight at the carnival?" Emmett guessed.

I sighed exasperatedly. "I was about to! But then her friend showed up, and after she left I lost the nerve to do it," my head sunk into my hands. "I've never felt like this about anyone, not even Alice. Bella lets me be who I am, she doesn't try to change me, she isn't afraid or disgusted with me because of my past, she thinks that I'm actually brave for going through it all and being able to revert to the lifestyle that I have. She's everything Alice isn't and more and… I truly love her for it. I would have grown to love her even if Alice never had that stupid vision. Of that, I'm completely certain."

Rosalie shook her head, smiling. "I don't know why I didn't like her before now. The way you talk about her, and the way she acts now, makes me see her for who she is, not as the obedient human that would trail Edward and cater to his every whim. You both deserve each other, Jasper. And I promise from here on out I will make her feel like a part of our family."

"Thank you Rosie," I said, truly loving my sister at this point in time.

"I just can't believe Edward told her to forget all of us," Emmett shook his head. "That's completely bogus."

"He also said he didn't want her and that he never loved her," I growled.

Emmett's fists clenched and he ground his teeth in fury. "Then it's official," he growled. "Our brother is the biggest nimrod on the face of the galaxy."

"Guys speaking of Edward," I interjected. "Does he know about Alice's vision? Or about the fact that I'm here at all?" I asked, partially worried. I knew that he'd vowed never to come back, but he loved Bella, and certainly wouldn't want her anywhere near me, the "monster" that tried to drain her.

Emmett and Rose exchanged a nervous glance. "No," Rosalie said. "But Alice is angry that you came here and decided against staying with her. I wouldn't put it past her to get Edward involved soon."

A/N: Dun, dun, DUN! So what did you guys think? A review or two gave me the idea to interrupt Jasper's confession and prolong their friendship boundaries for just a bit. What did you think of Em and Rosalie popping in? And how do you think Rosalie's bonding time with Bella will go over? Let me know in a review and I'll update either later today or tomorrow! I love you guys!

Thanks for Reading!
