"Is everyone finally ready?"

Kusanagi tugged on Mikoto's suit who was smoking his cigarette with closed yes. The bartender could see that his King hasn't slept much again. It was clearly shown under his eyes. The blonde looked around and searched for every member while passive smoking.

Every King could take up to 6 subordinates with him but the redhead hasn't even had to ask. Yata and Kamamoto already said they would go with him, as well as Kusanagi and his beloved vassal.

"D-do I have to wear that?" Yata whined.

"Of course you have! We're going to visit the first King! After all It's not bad to show that we're more than a noisy bunch of violent people."

"Hmpf." Yata sat down on the couch next to his friend.

"By the way, where's Tatara?" The blonde put on a red bow-tie and let go of his King to release him already. Mikoto was weary and one could say that he wasn't in the mood to go anywhere but his bed.

"I'm right here!" The brunette vassal jumped through the opened door and grinned at them. He too, wore a black suit and a red bow-tie. As the red King opened his eyes to look at him his mood automatically rose. Totsuka has caught that quick gaze and needed to swallow hard.

Since their first time, Totsuka had the feeling that had even much more power to influence his King and this one had his own fun with him.

"Finally. I think we're ready to go."

They nodded at each other and walked out of their basement. This time, they didn't want to take Anna with her, since she said the she suffered from vertigo. Silently, they walk down the streets until they reached the Scepter 4 building.

Weismann said, he would like both Kings to cooperate with each other more and told Homra to fly with Scepter 4's helicopters. Of course no one from the red Clan was happy about it but none of them was able to fly so they depend on the blue clan.

From afar, Fushimi was already grinning widely as he met Yata's disgusted expression. Munakata as always, was calm and greeted them politely. Both sides seemed to be tense only Awashima and Kusanagi seemed not to be bothered.

"Shall we?" Munakata showed with his stretched arm to the wharf behind him where his clan was waiting. Mikoto sighed out through his nose as he walked past him. "If need be..."

The blue king smiled briefly and followed him. As they sat down in the helicopter, Mikoto grabbed Totsuka by his waist to place the vassal right next to him. He knew the brunette would like to sit near the mirror to observe everything, but the redhead just didn't want to sit next to Munakata.

Now the poor Tatara had to sit between the childish Kings. He didn't show any sign of nervousness but sure he was. As If the tension of the two Kings would be absorbed by him, Mikoto and Munakata seemed somehow calm.

The brunette folded his hands and looked in front of him, trying to see through the front mirror as he felt Mikoto's hand on his knee. Of course, nothing to freak out about it but the aura of the blue king send him strange signals.

Totsuka had to shake his head slightly. He wondered how Yata and Fushimi were doing in the other helicopter? He thought It was a bad prank to let them sit together but well, the vassal couldn't be present for everyone.

No one of them talked, only the noises of the helicopter could have been heard and it makes it hard for Totsuka to breath. What was wrong with him? His brown eyes wandered to the side without turning his head.

Maybe Munakata knew something. As they met yesterday on that hill, he said he would have sensed some abnormal signal. Did he see him and the strain? That creepy fog, shaped like a fox head. Since this accident, Totsuka felt like this creature put some pressure on him.

He was absolutely sure that the Colorless King would come to see him again, no he was able to find him anywhere. The point was that he still hasn't told Mikoto about it. Was this even dangerous or not? He didn't want to drag his King into this.

A cold shiver ran down his spine as he thought about the shrill voice. "Don't get yourself shot." How unpleasant. As they reached the giant airship with the name "Himmelreich" on it, it was time to get off.

As the door has been pushed open, cold air hit them and made it hard to breath. Maybe just for Totsuka. They flew right at the exit of the airship and saw how a silver steps rolled out. First, Munakata jumped elegantly out of his seat and turned around to give Tatara a hand.

By courtesy, he took the hand and landed wobbly on the stairs and as he was about to fall back, he bumped into Mikoto who hold him by his shoulders. That little act wasn't unnoticed by Munakata who observed the two.

A few seconds later a silver door opened and Adolf K. Weismann greeted them with a big smile. Totsuka made big eyes as he saw the man's hair and his serene face. The aura that went from him was relaxed yet it held something powerful in it.

"My dear guest! It's a pleasure to finally meet you!"

Weismann gave Munakata and then Mikoto his hand and then looked surprised at Totsuka who smiled politely back at him. He reached out to greet the vassal as well and couldn't help but marvel. "What an impressive quality." Totsuka did not know what to reply to that so he just smiled.

The man observed how the subordinates from the two Kings land behind them as well and turned around. "Please, follow me!"

They walked behind him through a small and kinda narrow hall. All the way to the lobby there was a maroon carpet on the floor, giving the hall a fancy appearance. As they entered the lobby, Totsuka opened his mouth.

Everything looked so extravagant and precious and the violins that kept playing a quiet yet firm melody* gave an adding point. The floor was made out of polished glass-tiles that showed the view under them. From the roof down, hang an ostentatious glass-lamp that reflected the clouds that could be seen from the huge windows.

There was a big creamy-white couch in front of the windows, just in place to give everyone who sit there a magnificent view. It was a breathtaking sight and so clear! You could almost feel the freedom.

Every so often there was a white pillar in an antique farm and on the walls have been expensive oil paintings with a golden frame. As everyone gathered, Weismann showed to his couch.

"Have a seat, please! Not a side." The slight smirk told them that he knew about their relationship.

It was a wonder that even Yata and Fushimi were quiet and not bragging about each other. Maybe it was because of the height or the aura that came not only from the Luxus but even more from the owner himself.

It was clearly shown in Munakata's face that he was more than pleased by an elegance like that. He was the first who broke the ice and sat down. Everyone else followed quietly. That was when Weismann looked over to Yata and Fushimi and then to the Kings.

"Your subordinates are free to go upstairs while we will talk. I have 3 floors that can be used for your needs." It was a polite yet strange offer. Just like a mother would send their children to another room to play so that the parents could talk.

Fushimi looked over to Munakata who nodded, just like Yata did to Mikoto. "Kamamoto, you go with them." Ordered Kusanagi who was sitting next to Awashima. Although the couch was big, Weismann somehow managed to place the members of the Kings just like he wanted.

While he was sitting in his separated seat, in front of his quests and with the back to the windows, he managed to place Kusanagi between Munakata and Awashima, just like Totsuka who sat between the two Kings again.

The silver haired man smiled civilly at them. "I hope you're comfortable because I have a lot to talk about."

"Is it about the aberration?" Munakata shoved his glasses in place and observed how the man nodded. "Exactly." His white, almost translucent eyes seemed far away from here. "You see, with the invention of the powers that we possess, I was willing to create something that could bring peace into this world and yet I can sense darkness from afar caused by this power."

Munakata observed him as well. There was something in his little speech that awoke the interest of the red King. "Even from my airship, I can feel darkness, pain and destruction from far and near. For way too long I have been observing the force that surrounds our world."

He leant back into his seat and gestured to the table of glass where tea had been ready for them.
"I know about your relationship, Scepter 4 and Homra. I created you because of many reasons, but most importantly, for the peace."

He took a sip from his tea and exhaled, pleased by the taste. Munakata and Awashima followed him while Totsuka was still observing everything and that was when he saw it. Behind Weismann, on the ride side in a more or less dark place has been a coffin with a crystal clear window.

A beautiful woman with the same hair color as Weismann was lying in there as If she would sleep. Totsuka couldn't stop staring at her which was caught by the silver-haired man.

"Those powers are meant to protect the ones we love the most and yet…sometimes even our mightiest powers are unable to safe them." He smiled sadly at Totsuka. "People guessed, I would get insane because of my list. They say, hatred is born out of the desire to protect the loved ones. I failed and I try my best to not let the hatred overcome me."

That's why he's living a lonely life up in the clouds, thought Totsuka. To be free like him and yet lonely must be hard. His brown eyes got teary and as he noticed it he quickly swallowed them so no one could see it.

"My sister…" He turned his head to the coffin. "She's always with me. Here."

White eyes looked up at each of the faces that had been watching him. No one knew what to say or what he wanted to say with this but Totsuka could feel it. "The aberration is caused by hatred, broken free from the closed darkness in our hearts mixed with uncontrollable power. If we give it a chance to let it overcome us, this world is going to end. That is why I created these powers to banish this darkness from the world."

"In other words," Mikoto sighed out. "If we can't control our powers, we will destroy this world."

Weismann nodded. "Not only that. You can even have control over your power but If your grief and your darkness is too big, you still can cause pain. The aberration that's currently flying around us, is thin but it's here, waiting to absorb more sorrow."

Suddenly, Tatara could feel a cold shiver right from his chest. His breath hitched unnoticeable. Maybe he was speaking from the strain he met yesterday? All this talking was like a desperate poem and yet no one had a straight clue what was going on. But one thing was sure, a storm was about to come.

"So…" Munakata put the cup on the table. "You want to say that a new threat is coming at us, am I seeing this correctly?" The nod from the silver-haired man was an approval to continue but Totsuka couldn't be quiet anymore. "I-I sensed something."

Every head turned in his direction and Weismann's eyes focused on him as if he was waiting for him to say something. "There was this strain…a-at least it looked like it but…it introduced itself as the colorless King and-."

The silver-haired King leaned forward to observe the now shaking Totsuka. The coldness within him was getting stronger and stronger as if it was telling him to keep quiet. Mikoto could feel the unusual temperature that went out from his vassal and put his arm around his shoulder while activating his flame.

The man reached out his arm to scan Totsuka and placed his hand on his forehead. "I can feel your flame. It's getting weaker, you should drink some hot tea and rest a bit."

Totsuka just nodded and took the cup from the man to take a sip of the hot liquid. It tasted sweet and warmed his whole body for a few seconds. This couldn't be a normal tea. Weismann observed him and quickly looked over to Mikoto.

"He's in an anemic state and should lay down for a while. I can offer you a bed in the third floor." He stood up. "Would you like to follow me? I have the right medicine to help him."

Kusanagi looked over to his King and stood up, but Mikoto placed a hand on his shoulder. "Yes, I'm going with him."

"Very well."

Totsukas brown eyes mustered them as they got tired. He stood up as well and couldn't even properly speak as they walked to the elevator that brought them to the third floor. All the way, Mikoto had his arm around the smaller males waist to keep him close and warm him with his own flame.

Totsuka couldn't see much as they entered the third floor, he only could see a large bed in which Mikoto lay him down. Weismann again placed his hand over his forehead and scanned his whole body until it stopped, right in front of his chest.

His white eyes widened in surprise and he had to use his other hand. "It's…inside you?" With a swift movement he managed to pull something out of Totsuka's chest that looked like a steamy ball. No, It looked like the fog he saw yesterday.

Just as the man pulled it out, Totsuka sighed in relief, feeling like his normal body temperature was coming back to him. Mikoto's brown furrowed, almost angrily.

"What is that?" He helds Tatara's hand and infused him with his own power which made the vassal smile weakly as he was about to drift away.

"This…is what I have been talking about. The sneaking shadow of my power."

*kneels down* It's been so freaking long...I'm miserably sorry.

But here it is! And there will be more. This is just the tiny beginning of the drama.
There will be a hella lot more of pain and smut of course!

Thanks to everyone who still read this and who has such an angelic patience with me .
