"Dreams are gateways to understanding the inner psyche," Sai read aloud. "Hm..."

"Are you reading another one of your weird how-to-fit-in-with-the-humans books?" Naruto pried at the cover, trying to see the title.

"It's very interesting. This says that certain themes and images in dreams can reveal different subconscious thoughts and desires, often times unbenounced to the dreamer."

"Oh! Like seeing the future?!"

Sakura rolled her eyes, "That's something else entirely."

"Okay, whatever, technicalities...what's it mean if I have a dream I'm the Hokage and I'm on my lunch break and I order Ichiraku?"

"Um..." Sai flipped through the pages.

"Seriously? It obviously means he's an idiot who just thinks of ramen and being Hokage," Sakura grumbled.

"It says here...being Hokage in your dream means you set high goals for yourself and seek power...And ramen represents a long life of abundance..."

"Yes! Awesome! I'm gonna be Hokage!"

Sakura rolled her eyes again.

"How about you? What did you dream about Sakura? Sasuke?" Sai inquired.

"I...um..." Sakura glanced over at Sasuke briefly, blushing. "I had a dream I got a new kitten and...um...Sasuke-kun was helping me name it..."

"I had a dream Sakura was dead."

"Wait, what?!"

"Alright. So..." Sai flipped through the pages again. "Kittens represent a move towards independence and also purity," He reiterated. "Since he's helping you name it, it probably suggests you know he's acknowledging this fact that you're a brutish virgin."

She choked, "WHAT?!"

"Woah," Naruto was still listening intently. "What kind of kitten?"

"It doesn't matter! Sai is an idiot!" Sakura was flustere. "And what does that mean?! Sasuke-kun!"

"I meant to say nightmare."

"So the book says the meaning differs on if you want the person dead or not..." Sai offered. "Which is it?"

"Do you seriously have to ask me—" Before Sasuke could finish his sentence, Sakura tore the book from the artist's hands and shredded it into a million pieces.

"I have to return that to the library by tomorrow..."
