If yesterday was April Fools Day, I'd say April Fools. But no, what really happened is that I remembered some things that were left unanswered, such as what happened to the Black Org. Well, technically that was still the last chapter, cuz this is only an epilogue, and so it doesn't count as a chapter. Anyway . . .
Soon after all that happened, Kaitou Kid disappeared after stealing the one gem he never gave back. And two years later, the FBI brought down the Black Organization. Conan considered taking off his glasses and instead pretending to have contacts, but no. He was used to them by now. And besides, they still had those gadgets that Agasa-hakase made for him. A year after that, Conan met someone by the name of Kuroba Kaito. They quickly became friends - no, they acted more like brothers - and something seemed familiar about his personality, but he couldn't quite place it. He found out years later, when the time ran out and Kid could no longer be arrested anymore. Sonoko managed to overhear, but there was barely a reaction from her. Kaitou Kid had disappeared many years ago after all and she had gotten over him. Besides, she had Makoto. But aside from that, the rest of this takes place many, many years later after they decided to grow up again . . .

Epilogue:
"Otousan, Okaasan, tadaima!" 17 year old Edogawa Kenichi called as he walked in the door with his twin sister, Ayako.
"Okaeri," Edogawa Conan answered, immersed in the file of an unsolved mystery.
"Where's Okaachan?" Ayako asked.
"Oh, Amaya's hanging out with Aoko and Sonoko right now," Kaito replied, the teens noticing him there for the first time. "They'll be back before dinner."
"Ah, sokka," she replied.
"Jaa," Kenichi added, "We'll be in the living room working on our homework."
"Okay," Conan replied absently. "Have fun."
"Oh, I will," he replied definitively, a mischievous grin on his face as he walked away.
"And don't play another prank on your sister!" But he had already left. Conan sighed. "Doesn't he remind you of someone?" he asked Kaito expectantly.
Kaito just shrugged. "You, obviously. He's your son."
"Yes, but don't forget that you look like me and so he looks like you as well. Besides, I think his personality is a lot much more like yours. You should see the tricks he pulls off every April Fools Day." He looked at the ex-phantom thief suspiciously. "You haven't been teaching him anything, have you?"
"Now, now, Tantei-kun," he winked, using Kid's old nickname for Conan. And their good-natured arguing began . . .

Wow, I still ended up giving Kaito a little bit of a bigger role in this story. Most of my main ones seem to do that somewhere in the fic, it seems.
P.S. Kaito and Amaya somehow found out that she was the one who kicked him that one time when Sonoko was trying to get her to prove who she really was.
Sayounara! Hasta Luego!
