A/N: Hercule: Neither, it was just stress from her argument with Kovu. Thanks for reviewing.
GuardianSaint: Yep, totally lol. Thanks for the review.
TMNTMentalistTLK lover: don't worry everyone will be fine. I couldn't kill off little Salina, I've taken too much a liking for her. Thanks for reviewing.
Darkness. That's all Amira could see. She couldn't feel anything. She couldn't move either. That made her nervous. Was she dying? Was her cub ok? All those questions and many other were going through her mind at once. Where was Mosi? She didn't want to die. If she died then her cub would die too, unless Rafiki could get it out. If she died, she wouldn't be able to apologize to Kovu. She didn't mean what she said, she was just so upset.
She tried to find something. Anything to tell her she was alive. Anything to tell her that her cub was ok.
"Amira?"
What? She could hear someone shouting. She couldn't quite make out the voice. This must mean she was alive. She tried to pull herself towards the voice. But she couldn't. She felt for a foothold. Nothing.
"Amira? Sweetie?"
That voice she could hear. Kiara. Her mother, she needed her mother. Even though she was a grown lioness, sometimes you just need your mother. It wasn't working. She couldn't get to Kiara. She couldn't find a way.
"Mira?"
Azryn. She wanted to get to her brother.
"Amira? Please wake up. I need to see your beautiful eyes." That was Mosi. "Can you hear me?"
"I'm here Mosi!" That's what she wanted to yell. "I can hear you!"
She had to know if their cub was ok. She had to find a way to get to Mosi. She wanted her family to keep talking, maybe somehow she could follow the sound of their voice.
She feared that if she didn't get to them soon, she would be lost forever. She felt a sharp pain in her neck and stomach. Then the tingling started.

Kiara was in tears. Her baby was unconscious and nobody could wake her up. After Amira fell into unconsciousness, Pakyzo ran to get Rafiki. Rafiki said that be had to get the cub out or else it would die.
Amira was under enough stress, and the fight with Kovu just made it worse to the point that her body just gave out.
Nobody felt worse than Kovu. He was angry, but as soon as Amira collapsed all of his anger disappeared. He knew that she wouldn't listen. He knew she would go with them, but a little part of him had hoped she wouldn't have. But she would. She was Kiara's daughter after all. She was stubborn. Vey stubborn.
"Amira?" He asked in hopes she would wake up.
She didn't.
He looked at Kiara with sadness. Kiara walked over and nuzzled him. Then she looked down at their daughter. "Amira? Sweetie?"
Nothing.
Rafiki had shown up and shooed everybody out of the cave. Azryn, Pakyzo, and Kovu had to physically pull Mosi out. When he came out, he had the cub and he had to take it back to his tree. Rafiki promised he would bring the cub back when Amira was awake. Since then, everyone was trying to wake up the cub.
Azryn thought he had to try. "Mira?"
Nothing.
Mosi hadn't moved from her side in hours. He couldn't lose her. Amira was one of the only lions that kept him living. He couldn't live without her. Since nobody else could wake her up, he didn't think he'd be able to. But he had to try. "Amira? Please wake up." His voice cracked as the tears started. "I need to see your beautiful eyes. Can you hear me?"
Just as he expected. Nothing.
But then, something.
He was about to stand up when he heard a small moan. "Amira?" He asked with a hopeful voice.
She slowly opened her eyes and saw the smiling faces of her family. She looked over at Mosi. "Mo'i" she asked not being able to get the 's' out.
"I'm here honey." Mosi said with a smile licking her forehead. "Thank the kings you're alright."
She leaned into him and looked up at Kiara. "Mom." She mumbled.
"It's ok baby, you're ok." Kiara said with a sigh of relief.
Amira's eyes found Kovu. "M'sorry daddy."
Kovu leaned down and nuzzled Amira. "Oh baby, no. I'm sorry. I shouldn't have yelled at you, especially when you were pregnant."
That's when Amira remembered. Her cub. She looked up at Mosi. "The cub?"
Mosi smiled. "Rafiki had to take it out."
"I had it?" She asked. "Where is it?"
"At Rafiki's tree." Kovu answered. "He wouldn't give us any information. Not what gender it is, he wouldn't even let us see it."
"Want me to go get them?" Pakyzo asked. When Amira nodded he left to go go Rafiki's tree.

"Rafiki?!" Pakyzo shouted when he got to Rafiki's tree. "Mira's awake and she wants her cub."
Rafiki jumped down with a tiny bundle in his arms. Pakyzo leaned over to get a closer look but Rafiki turned. "No no. You can all see it together."
Pakyzo rolled his eyes but obliged. The baboon and lion set off towards Priderock.

"Nobody? Nobody saw the color of it?" Amira asked. She was desperate for information but nobody could give it to her.
"No." Kiara said. "We told you that already. Pakyzo and Rafiki will be back soon."
As if on cue Rafiki walked in with Pakyzo. "How are you feeling Amira?"
"Fine." Amira answered.
Rafiki smiled and placed the cub in Amira's paws. "It's a boy."
Amira's eyes lit up when she laid eyes on her son. He was a light golden color with a small brown tuft on his head. "He's beautiful."
"Yes he is." Mosi smiled. "What should we name him?"
Amira thought for a second and then it hit her. "Amaris." She said. "It means Gift from the Great Kings."
"I love it." Mosi said. Then little Amaris started to try and open his eyes. "Come on little guy! You can do it!"
Amaris opened his eyes to reveal blue eyes like his mother. "He had your eyes." Kovu said with a big smile.
Amira nuzzled her son. "I'll never let anybody hurt you." She whispered so only Amaris could hear it. The pride spent the rest of the day admiring the new prince.
A/N: see everything's fine! I told you! GuardianSaint: thank you so much for the idea of Amira's son. I can't thank you enough. Thank you!
I hope you all enjoyed this chapter and stay tuned for the next one. Thanks.
