So, planned to update later this week, but after all the replies back I decided to do it now! Hope you enjoy it!

Chapter Eight

Aria paused. She didn't want to lie to him but found herself quickly getting out of the situation. "I just felt sick..." she lied to him.

He saw straight through her lies like glass "Well, I spoke to Mrs. Plumb who addressed me and told me that you ran off after talking to Mona, and she did say the conversation wasn't nice..." He had caught her, her head sank.

"Me and Mona don't really see eye to eye" She tried to down the situation, she didn't want to have to tell him his new neighbour had beat her up and tortured her in the past. That wouldn't be good for him or her to relive in the slightest.

"Aria, I have to ask you... is that why i've seen you a few times with bruises and marks on your face?" Ezra was praying it wasn't. How could hurt someone so beautiful?

Aria couldn't speak and simply nodded, her head sinking further to the ground. She felt too ashamed to look at him, she could feel the vibes of negative energy coming from him already, the hurt he felt for her, it was as sharp as daggers attacking her skin slowly.

Ezra cupped his hand under her skin and gently brought her head up so it was now level with his. "You know I would never hurt you?" he asked her, something was different in his voice, it was like he was scared he scared sometimes.

"I know Ezra" she gently moved herself closer to his body, finding her head resting on his chest and his arm instantly going around her waist as he held her close to him, never letting go of her.

"Aria?" Ezra gently spoke to her, she removed herself from his chest and looked up at him. "How would you feel if I spoke to someone about Mona?" He knew what her answer would be, but as her boyfriend and also as a teacher he had a negotiation that he was meant to inform higher powers if anything like this occurred.

Aria felt herself backing away from on the couch, it was like instinct to protect herself. "You can't Ezra" she couldn't begin to explain to him, but knew he'd want reasons and good ones.

"Why not?" he raised his voice slightly more than he planned, Aria knew it was because he just wanted her safe and happy.

"Because I think Mona knows about us, she'll ruin it Ezra" Aria's head sunk, she didn't even want to consider the outcome if Mona told anyone about them, it would end up with one of them in prison and the other being home schooled and never allowed out without supervision.

Ezra didn't know to answer that. He could see by the fear in her eyes she must have already worked it out, beside the point of when he could see how his future would be if this actually happened. How Aria's future would be without him...

The next day had come swiftly, the night before Ezra had took Aria home at a reasonable time, parking a few roads back to not catch suspicion and only gave her a small peck on the lips before letting her out of the car and to head towards her house. He debated leaving it a few minutes then driving past to make sure she got in, but didn't want to freak her out or rise anyone else's concerns. He already had Mona on his back, just lingering like some sort of sniper ready to take a shot at anytime.

Aria had got herself ready for school, putting on one of her black skirts, and a simple vest top. As she walked down the stairs she could hear murmured voices coming from the kitchen. She knew her parents were probably still worried about what happened to her yesterday.

She walked in and they instantly told her to sit down at the table opposite them, as they held onto their coffee cups and drank it slowly and passed her some breakfast.

"Aria, we've both noticed a change in you" Bryon strongly told his daughter, Ella looked more worried than angry, which was a typical occurrence for her parents. Whenever they told her off Bryon was angry and Ella was more concerned if Aria was okay.

"Change?" Aria questioned them, she knew excalty what they meant all the same.

"Aria, what your father means is, we're concerned about you... You've been going out till late, staying out, though we believe you've been at your new friends don't we Bryon?" He nodded and allowed Ella to continue. "But, we would like to know is their a boy involved?"

The look on Aria's face gave it away so clearly. Her parents looked happy, surprised...but not angry or annoyed.

"Aww Aria that's great sweetheart" Ella beamed she literally looked like it was her a boyfriend, not her daughter. "So when can we meet him?" she asked, she was dying to know who this boy who was taking so much of her daughters time up.

Aria's cheek went bright red, she wasn't expecting this "Umm maybe soon Mom" she smiled, seeing Ella slightly disappointed but knew she'd rather not meet him, well not just yet.

"Well I better get going huh" Aria laughed, she picked up her bag and made her way towards the door, her parents were still staring at her.

"Aria, just the person I wanted to see" The principle announced loudly seeing her walk through the main entrance into the long corridor. He had a serious look upon his face and this meant business. She stuttered and followed him to his office. "Shut the door behind you please Aria"

"So, i've heard a report from a teacher about a disagreement between you and a fellow student?" Aria gulped, Ezra...how could he do this to her
