I hope some of you will read my next story A Twisted Mind. Warning: It's dark.. rating will be M. (for gore and stuff like that, not lemons, smut). But I am really excited to start writing it. At the end of this chapter there will be a look in from the first chapter of A Twisted Mind.
Also I'm just starting to watch Naruto, Sword Art Online and Arrow.. pretty good so far.

Alrighty, here we go.
P.S happy new years :)
CABIN FOR A WEEK: Chapter 8 - Last Day
A giggle.
A soft, floating sound.
What was such an angelic sound doing in the darkness?
Why was it so dark?
And why.. so.. tired?
The wheels in Dick's mind began to turn ever so slowly as he woke, feeling groggy but alert at the same time. Carefully blinking his eyes open, he felt a heavy weight on both of his shoulders. As his pupils readjusted to the scene, he realized he was staring straight up to the ceiling, head leaning back on what he assumed was the couch.
His head dropped back down lazily and noticed that most of the girls were huddled around him, giggling behind their hands. His forehead creased as he stared at the women intently, most of his focus on the blushing Kori. What where they laughing about? Why was he sitting on the couch so oddly?
"What? Kor?" he rasped out. This only caused the girls to irrupt into more laughter. He was about to respond until he felt the weight on his left shoulder began to roll. Looking to his sides, he realized that both Wally and Garth's heads were leaning on Dick's shoulders for support. Startled, Dick jumped from his spot and clamored over closer to the women who were not bothering to cover up their laughter anymore.
Dick stared in silence as Wally and Garth bumped heads and then instantly woke up. Wally scaring Jericho up in the process, then it became dominoes. The others woke up with a spook, besides Garfield. Garfield only woke as he heard the giggles of woman wafting through the air and the hearty chuckle of Dick's.
"Umm.." Dick began and started to laugh. They were all wearing makeup..
"Aha! Dude!" Garfield guffawed. "Dick, you're wearing make-up!" The guys began to laugh.
"I.. what.." he mumbled and rubbed at his eye. He was horrified to see that there was smudges of silver and black coating the back of his hand. He looked to the girls who had innocent smiles on their faces. "Did you..?"
"Wally! You're wearing make-up too, dude!"
"What! No way!"
"I don't know man, it's lookin' like it." Victor chuckled.
Jericho pointed at Victor's face, laughing slightly at his bright lipstick.
"Jesus Christ," Wally moaned. "We're all wearing make-up." There were collective gasps and grunts as the men began to wipe furiously at their faces, determined to wipe the muck from their faces.
The girls couldn't stop laughing, incredibly amused by the sight before them.
"Wait!" Kori giggled. "Do you not wish to see our master pieces?"
Wally stopped short before standing up and bolting from the bathroom. Everyone waited in silence and Wally's voice cracked through the silent air.
"Aww, hell yeah!"
Jinx sputtered out in laughter. "You idiot, you can't think that looks good?!"
"Babe!" Wally stepped back into the living room, grinning cheekily. "I look hot."
"Pfft," Bee snorted. "As if."
"I don't know Bee.." Dick grinned. "He has all those old ladies lining up."
Wally paled. "You ass hole! Can we not talk about that?"
Garfield snickered. "Dude, not talk about that? Are you kidding! This story will be passed down to our kids!"
Everyone tittered with laughter, not phased by the mention of children. The group had no doubts that who they were with now they would be spending the rest of their lives with.
"I swear, I'll teach yo kids to eat right. Lot's and lot's of meat!" Cyborg smirked.
"I don't think so." Garfield sneered back.
Raven coughed, exchanging a knowing glance with Garfield that only Kori caught. "Are we done fighting about this now?"
"But Rae! The fight has just begun!"
"And we should end it before I end up dragging you both to the pits of hell." She snapped back.
Garfield flinched. "Sorry, babe.." but he automatically perked back up a second later and his eyes gleamed. "OH, Raven! Can we tell them? Can we tell them please?!"
"Tell us what?" Garth questioned.
Raven hesitated, Garfield scooted over to her, wrapping an arm around her shoulders. "We don't have to.. but ya know.."
"Love?" Argent asked and leaned closer to Kole.
"Well.. if we don't tell you now, you won't stop pestering us." she huffed out annoyingly. Her lips curved into a closed smile as she grabbed Garfield's hand. "We're.. we're having a baby."
Silence.
Wide eyes.
A loud squeal.
Kori flung herself at the couple, embracing them with a tight hug. "Ooh!" she gasped. "This is most exciting! I am thrilled that you two are bringing a child into this world! I am happy for you both!" she gave them a squeeze and released them. She blushed as Raven and Garfield coughed for air. Nonetheless, they were grateful for her enthusiasm.
Bee squealed too, pulling them in for a hug as Kole and Argent joined.
"Ooh girl, momma Raven! Has a nice ring to it, don't cha think?" Bee's brown eyes glistened with excitement.
"Call me that and I will personally end you." Raven murmured affectionately as she pat their backs gently and Garfield managed to wiggle away from the group of girls and stand with the guys.
Jinx gave Raven a side hug as the other girls released her. "Well I guess that sucks, because momma Raven is sticking."
The guys gave Garfield pats on the back and bro hugs, happy with their friend's news.
"Huh, better teach the little tyrant that the new names Uncle Wally. This is going to be so much fun."
"No way," Raven growled from within the group of girls that were seated around her and pawing at her stomach, "Am I going to let you influence our child."
Wally visibly deflated. "But, Rae-" he swallowed when she cast him a vicious glare. "Uncle Wally.."
Dick chuckled and placed a hand on his best friend's shoulder. "Sorry, Wal. Looks like you're going to have to find another baby to babysit and influence."
Wally's face took on a wicked grin. "Alright, starting with your and Kori's baby."
Dick stiffened and everyone's heads either swiveled to Wally, Dick or Kori.
"Umm.." Kori awkwardly said in a soft tone. She exchanged a glance with Dick before they both looked away, blushing red.
Wally laughed. "I'm just teasing." he smacked a hand on Dick's back and everyone else laughed, except Kori and Dick. They were feeling a bit awkward after Wally's comment. It didn't help that the comment actually made them think about that.. what would it be like..?
Annoyed with Dick's behavior, he decided he would definitely get him back later."
"Hey Wal?" Garth asked.
"Yeah?"
"You still have make-up smeared on your face."
"Where are they?" Garfield whined.
"They'll be here soon, so shut your yap." Victor mumbled from the red painted barbecue. The group was on the small porch cabin, looking over the beach. They had rented a small barbecue today for when Roy and Jade came to the cabin. Victor was beginning to cook the food while the group chatted. Garfield and Garth hovered around Victor, making sure that none of the meat touched their 'glorious tofu'.
Kori and Richard were out a little further than the porch, sitting on the sand and enjoying the warm breeze. Silkie was tucked in Kori's lap, sleeping. It was a nice day out. Warm air, clear skies and a light breeze. Perfect weather for a 5' o clock barbecue.
Kori turned to Garfield when she heard his sharp whining. She giggled. "He is quite impatient, isn't he?"
Dick turned to Kori, observing her as she looked to Garfield. "Yeah." he agreed half halfhearted. For some reason, he could feel his heart beat quicken as she twisted to him, looking through her thick eye lashed framed jade eyes. A genuine smile pulled at her lips and Dick couldn't pry his blue sapphires away from her alluring lips.
"Are you excited?" he asked quietly as they sat in silence once more, still seemingly in a trance by her beauty.
"Oh, yes!" She brought her knees as close to her chest as she could without crushing Silkie. Her white strapless dress ruffled in the process, Silkie blended in with the blunt color. She traced one of her golden tan legs with her left pointer finger. Dick's eyes followed her finger up and down her leg and his throat became increasingly dry.
"Not talking to Jade, or seeing her for a week is odd. We try to talk daily if possible."
"You two are close." he observed.
"Very." she smiled fondly. The wind rustled her bright red hair and Dick had to actually sit on his hands to stop them from stretching out and playing with the strands of cherries.
"Ya know," he stretched his arms, muscles flexing. Kori's eyes lingered on his body as he continued talking, oblivious to Kori's inspection. "It's nice to see Garfield and Raven with a child on the way. I always expected that Wally and Jinx would be the first ones of the group, from an accident or something."
"I talked to Raven." Kori inclined her head towards him. "She said it was.. unexpected.. but welcomed, nonetheless. I also asked if the baby was fine after our drinking episode on our first night here." Kori's nose wrinkled and Dick smiled at the cute facial expression her face swirled up at the movement. "She said and the baby are fine and proceeded to inform me of every sexual episode her and Garfield had until I stopped bothering her."
Dick's nose wrinkled as well. "Gross, sorry."
She laughed lightly, like charming bells. "Do not be sorry, Raven can be difficult."
"That kid has no idea what they're in for. A strict, irritate mother and a clumsy, immature father. Let me tell you, we were more surprised when they got together."
"Oh?"
"Oh yeah," he laughed. "At first we didn't believe them, thinking Garfield was making a prank and somehow dragged Raven along. Imagine our surprise when Raven simply walked up to him without a word and kissed him. I'm sure Wally almost fainted."
Kori snickered. "Wally is most comical, is he not?"
"And annoying." Dick rolled his eyes.
"And your best friend." Kori smiled gently.
"Yeah.." the sentence drifted. One might even say Wally was his other half, in a brotherly way. He had known Wally forever. The only relationship that got as close to him and Wally was with Roy. After the deal with Barbara, there was some awkward tension between him and Roy but it wasn't long before things went back to normal. He couldn't blame Roy for his cousin's actions. It wasn't fair.
Kori stroked Silkie's fur and watched with fascination as his silk fur slipped through the spaces of her fingers. "Have you gotten close to a woman after the.. Barbara incident?"
Dick sighed. "No.. I.." he ran a hand through his untamed black hair. "I found relationships pointless after that.. but lately.. I just, feel empty."
"I know the feeling. It seems as though you are missing.. someone. But you do not know who."
"A dull ache."
"Yes." she rounded her body towards him now, giving him her full attention. "Could you ever see.. yourself getting close to a woman again? Romantically?"
Yes, he thought instantly and itched closer to her, not stopping till the side of his legs touched her. "I've thought about it.. a lot, recently."
"Is that so?"
"Well," his blue eyes rolled away from her in a brief moment. "I .. don't want to end up alone. I mean, I know we're young and all and we have so much to live for.. but what's the point when you're doing it all alone? Everyone-" he jerked his head to their laughing friends who were swarmed around the porch. "-has each other. It's actually kind of.. awkward and sad being by myself when I'm hanging with them."
"That is how I felt hanging with Roy and Jade. Of course when we were all together they never excluded me from any activity or conversation and showed their affections politely, when I saw how they would look at each other.." she shrugged. "It brought my attention to the fact that I was missing out on something."
Dick teetered his view back to their friends. "I've seen that look a lot. At least you didn't have the looks passing through this many people." he joked.
She giggled softly. "Yes, I suppose I was not as unlucky as I had presumed." she sobered again from the sudden light mood. "The only word for that look is.. love."
Dick closed his eyes and inclined closer to her. "Yeah.. it's something special.. isn't it?"
"Yes.." she breathed and brought her head closer to his as he opened his eyes.
His sapphire pools flickered to her plump pink lips and back to her jade eyes, asking for permission to bring his lips to hers. She gave a small nod, barely detectable, but he felt it. Their eyes slithered to were they were shaded, but not absolutely closed. Their lips became closer and Kori could feel her hear pound in her chest from anticipation.
"AH!" Garfield's voice rang as he fell off the balcony.
Kori and Dick abruptly pulled away. Kori stared at Garfield, flummoxed as he landed face first into sand. Kori jumped as she felt Silkie awaken and she clutched the startled bunny.
Garth face palmed himself and the woman cast glares at Garfield. They had watched the whole thing with Kori and Dick play out. Garfield was the only one who didn't seem to notice and was more than surprised to see them almost kissing. So surprised- that he stumbled off the balcony.
Wally whistled as Dick stood up, helping Kori as one tan arm wound around the now very awake bunny. "I'm cheering you on, boss!"
Dick's only response was the middle finger of his right hand.
"Chesire!" Kori called the nickname for Jade and jumped up and down excitedly. Roy and Jade had just reached the cabin, not amazed to find it empty and went out to greet their friends who were now filling their plates with food.
"Star!" Jade grinned and flung herself at her best friend. They hugged tightly, chest to chest and Kori grabbed a fistful of her silky black hair.
"I have missed you very much!" Kori pulled back, hands rested on Jade's hips. A giant smile spread across Kori's face as she caught that faint glow of love and pure bliss radiating off of Jade.
Jade pat her best friend's head. "I've missed you too. Ooh! I can't wait to tell you what happened! It was so thrilling and so romantic!" Kori nodded excitedly as she released her best friend to accost Roy as Jade greeted everyone else. As she pulled from Roy, she said grinned animatedly.
"You had the fun too, yes?"
"Of course, always with my babe." he smiled and looked over Kori's shoulder to view Jade giving a hug to Jinx, then Jericho.
Kori nudged him. "How does it feel to be called husband now?"
"A little weird." he admitted. "But still nice."
Dick scoffed as he came over and gave Roy a bro hug. "You just married the girl of your dreams and you can only say being called husband by her, is nice?"
Roy rolled his eyes. "Well excuse me, Dick, some people's vocabulary systems can't be as high and mighty as you act like yours is."
Dick punched Roy on the shoulder before laying a hand on Kori's shoulder. "You should get Raven and Garfield to tell them what's going on, they'll be excited to hear."
Kori agreed with a brilliant smile and a kiss on Dick's cheek. She bounded the short distance to whisper in Raven's ear as Jade chatted with Garth, Argent and Bee.
Roy watched Dick as his electric blue eyes followed after her figure. "You like her, don't you?"
"Yeah. She's beautiful."
"She is." Roy's expression darkened. "Treat her right."
"Of course." Dick smiled.
The barbecue had gone well. Many jokes and laughter had been shared. Embarrassing stories from each other's week had been passed around. They ate and enjoyed each other's company.
Jade and Roy were practically bouncing from the walls with excitement to hear the news about Raven and Garfield's pregnancy. They couldn't wait to meet the baby.
They had laughed when they explained the hangover, stank ball, car wash, the cop chase, the bunny, everything. They even were awarded with great amusement when Roy shared how Jade confused him with another man at one point and scared the living day lights out of him when she jumped on the man's back. By the time the sun began to set, most of group waddled around the beach in small clumps. Some splashed in the ocean and others decided to stay at the balcony.
Kori and Dick had chose to sit side by side, close to the water edge, the fairly cool ocean lapping at their toes.
"I do not wish to leave." Kori said sadly.
"Yeah.. it's been.. a lot of fun." Dick said truthfully.
"We will all stay friends after this, right?"
Dick looked at her, bewildered that she would ask that. "Of course we will."
Kori hummed happily. "That is good. It shall be easy to do the hanging with each other since we all live in Jump."
"Yeah.. it should."
They stared off towards the sunset as the sun began to tickle the horizon.
"Hey.. Kor.."
She turned towards him. "Yes, Richard?"
His heart thumped in his chest.
"I've been thinking about what you said.. with the.. looking for a woman to share a romantic relationship with.. someone who I could see spending a long time with.. maybe even the rest of my life.."
Her heart picked up speed. "And?"
"Well.. I have been.. and I was wondering.." he tilted his head towards her.
"Yes?" she leaned closer.
"If you would.."
Their eyes drooped.
"Be that woman?"
His heart hammered in his chest and he felt his blood flow hot as he awaited her answer.
"Yes." and she brought her lips to his.
It was an instant reaction, an electric jolt. It felt so right. It was a perfect, passionate kiss that they couldn't get enough of. The blissfully happy kiss seemed to last on forever. They denied their lungs the air they were screeching for as the sun dipped pass the horizon and the skies faded darker.
As they pulled away, eyes still closed, Dick laughed.
"This was actually really cheesy. Sunset, beach, perfect kiss."
Kori licked her lips. "Yes, it was."
"Hmm,"
"Even the the sunset is gone, may we go on with just the beach and perfect kiss?"
"Of course." and he brought their lips together once more.
"Money." Raven dead panned with her right hand out to everyone who had gathered back on the balcony, watching the couple share an affectionate embrace.
"What ever." Victor mumbled as he handed Raven his bet money, as did the others.
"Say, who one the first bet?" Jade asked as she smiled for her best friend's achievement.
"Who knows, who cares." Raven droned monotonously as she stuffed the money in her bra.
Argent sighed. "I was so sure they would have gotten together earlier." Kole nodded meekly and Bee scrunched up her nose, she bet they would get together first day.
"I thought it'd be right after the car wash." Victor and Jericho exchanged looks. Garth sighed, he bet it would be after Stank Ball.
Jinx, Garfield and Wally chilled in defeat, certain that they would have gotten together after they left the cabin.
But in the end none of it even mattered, because everyone was happy.
And happiness was all that mattered.
Author's Note: Kinda bummed that this story has come to its end.. I really enjoyed writing it. I do not believe I will make a sequel for this story. But I will be making a long one-shot sequel from my story Ma'ri? Is that you? sometime soon I believe.
Epilogue will be posted next!

Chapter 1 (short view) - A Twisted Mind
He leaned forward to Barbara, placing small kisses against her neck. He basked in pride as goosebumps lifted on her fair skin. As his lips reached her ear he brought his voice down to a low, captivating whisper.
"Let's get out of here."
As he pulled back, he watched her lick her bottom lip unconsciously. His sapphire eyes faded into a dark pool of water as she nodded and he graciously pulled her from the dance floor.
Once Dick and Barbara had reached his car and they drove to his fairly large pent house, his mind began to fill with the ideas of attachment once again.
As they pulled into the driveway, he wondered what it would be like to fall in love with a woman.
As they neared the entrance, he thought of what it would be liked to adore a woman from body to soul.
As he stripped himself and Barbara of their clothing, he dared hope to imagine if a woman could love him so much that she wouldn't give a damn that he was sick and twisted.
He wanted to laugh. A woman would have to be as mad as him if she could get past all the murders he committed and his blood lust.
He almost did laugh. Why was he thinking such silly thoughts? Dick Grayson doesn't love. He couldn't love. Woman were nothing but rag dolls. Besides, there was no chance he would risk his glorious kingdom of fear and blood for one woman.
He would have to be more insane than he already was to let a mere woman change everything.
All thoughts disappeared from his mind as Barbara let out an aroused moan escape her now swollen lips that had been mashed to Dick's in a haze of pure lust as he placed her naked form on the bed.
Not any damn woman could change his ways.
...
and oh how mistaken he was.
I know, not much, but hey.. at least it is something.. right?
