Hey guys! Thank you so much for your reviews in the last chapter! Everyone wants a little Clace action and I promise that it will all come at the proper time :P Now I've got two other Clace stories going on at the moment, Safe Haven and Pretty Wrecked, you guys should check those out as well :)

A few mornings later, Clary opened up her laptop when she was still laying in bed, logging into her Facebook account. She had a personal message from Simon, which she opened with a grin, wondering what he had to say today. There wasn't really anything new in his email; he still wasn't enjoying his time overseas, and was counting down the days until he came back. Three weeks down, three weeks to go. Apparently his sister had found a boyfriend over there, which his parents absolutely adored, and was dragging him to the beach and then the gym. Clary could almost hear the disdain in Simons voice from here.

Admittedly, she had been on Jace's page more than once since the night they had been together. There wasn't much new on there, except a picture that he was tagged in a couple of weeks with Isabelle. He was sitting in what looked like their backyard with Alec, both of them smoking and neither of them looking particularly happy about the photo. She then went through to Isabelle's page, but wasn't able to view much given they weren't linked as friends. Her profile picture was of her, Jace and Alec. She had a wide smile on her face, her head tilted to the side so that her hair spilled all over her shoulder. Alec was on one side of her and staring, straight faced at the camera. Jace was looking at someone off camera, and he had his lazy smirk on his face, looking gorgeous, as usual.

"Clary!" It sounded like Luke. She groaned and pulled herself out of bed, finding a jersey to go over her singlet before going out to the lounge. Luke was standing in the kitchen, and Jocelyn was in the lounge, watching TV. "Hey, do you mind going down to the store for me? We're running low on a couple of things." Clary grabbed an apple from the fruit bowl in the middle of the kitchen table and then pushed herself off the ground, sitting on the bench.

"Sure thing," she said, taking a bit of the apple. "As in; to the store where I need to take a cab, or just to the store around the corner?"

"Just around the corner will be fine," Luke took the frying pan off the stove and moved away, grabbing his wallet from the bench top. "You remember my pin, right?" He asked as he handed her his Eftpos card.

"Dude. Your pin spells 'Luke'," she smirked at him.

"Well, that way I don't forget it either," he gave her a sheepish smile. Clary rolled her eyes and jumped off the bench, making for her bedroom to get changed into more suitable clothes to be seen outside when Luke stopped her again. "Hey, Clary?"

"Yeah?" She paused at the door.

"I've only met your boy once or twice," Luke narrowed his eyes. "But I've met his father a couple of times, and that guy is a grade A bastard." Clary grinned at Luke's swearing, he usually made a big effort not to, thinking that somehow he would 'taint' her youth. "I know you're a smart girl, but know that if that boy lays one hand on you that you don't want—"

"Luke," Clary interrupted him with a grin. "It's fine. He's fine. But I promise I will tell you if something happens that I don't want." Luke pursed his lips together, suddenly looking awkward. She nudged in him the side. "Look at you, acting all macho and shit."

"Right," he muttered, rubbing the back of his neck uncomfortable and turning back to the breakfast he was cooking for himself and Jocelyn. Clary shook her head, grinning at the ground as she walked back to her bedroom. Luke really wasn't one to talk much, and that was probably he most words he had said to her than in the past month all together. Which she didn't mind, she liked Luke, and she liked how good he was to her mum. She changed into a pair of denim mini-shorts and a long sleeved shirt, before leaving the apartment. The shopping only really got done when Luke was over, because Jocelyn and Clary just made do with whatever it was they had in the house. She picked up a basket when she went into the corner store, pulling down two loaves of bread and then moved down the next aisle.

"Clary?" Came a female voice from down the aisle. Clary looked up from where she was scanning one of the shelves and saw Isabelle walking toward her. She felt completely under-dressed and a little frumpy next to the taller girl, who was wearing strappy heels and a black dress with lace inserts at the sides and a tight, purple dress that hugged all her luscious curves. "Hey."

"Hey, yourself," Clary replied, not able to help herself from looking over Isabelle's shoulder to see if Jace was with her. Clearly she wasn't as subtle as she thought she was being because Isabelle smirked.

"Sorry, hun. Here by myself," Isabelle said. "I was just visiting a friend around here and stopped by on the way home." Clary nodded, trying to conceal her disappointment. "Jace invited you to the drinks on Friday, right?" She nodded again. "Are you going to come?"

"Um, I'm not sure," Clary cleared her throat and turned her gaze down at her basket.

"Why not?" Isabelle asked bluntly, and Clary blinked in surprise, lifting her chin.

"I'm not sure I would really...Fit in with you guys," she laughed awkwardly. Isabelle looked completely confused.

"You're with Jace," Isabelle shrugged. "That means you're one of us."

"Uh, I'm not really with Jace," Clary tilted her head to the side.

"Since when?" The taller girl pushed and Clary wondered if there was something that she was missing.

"We're just friends...Sort of...I think," she stammered.

"Oh really?" Isabelle grinned. "Something makes me doubt that." Clary wanted to ask her what she meant but there was something slightly unnerving about the tall, dark-eyed girl, and she didn't feel like she knew her well enough to press for answers. "Okay, well, I hope you do come. It's nothing big and fancy, just a couple of friends getting together. We might do dinner and then there'll be drinks after. Anyway, I think it's time that we got to know each other better. I've been hearing about you since I was twelve, when me and Jace first met, so it's like I know you already."

"Wait what?" She blinked again. "Since you were twelve? We were only ever just friends. We only saw each other a couple of times a year."

"Clearly you made an impression," she replied, licking her lower lip quickly and gave a one shouldered shrug. "His dad is an asshole. You were the only thing that got him through all of that."

"I never did...Anything," she was confused. Isabelle smiled at her and shook her head.

"Hun, you did everything for him," she said. She glanced down at her watch and then looked up again. "Sorry, I've gotta be going. But come on Friday, okay? Oh, and I heard that you're looking for a job? I have a friend who works for a restaurant in the middle of town where someone has just quit. I could ask if they were still looking for a waitress? It's not the best thing, but it's a job." Clary nodded with a smile.

"Thanks!" She called after the tall girl as she stalked away.

"She has no idea, does she?" Isabelle asked as she dumped her bag on the counter and dropped the plastic grocery bag on the ground. Alec and Jace looked up from where they were on the sofa in front of the TV, PlayStation controllers in their hands. She rolled her eyes at the lack of reply and clapped her hands together. "Jace!"

"Hm?" He raised an eyebrow and turned his head in her direction, but his eyes were still trained on the game.

"She has no idea, right?" Isabelle repeated.

"Who?" Jace asked, his voice distant.

"Clary," she replied.

"Know what?" Jace muttered as he turned his face back to the TV.

"That you're in love with her!" Isabelle walked over and planted her hands on her hips, blocking their view of the TV.

"Aw, Iz—"

"Move out of the way, sis!"

"No!" Isabelle shook her head at them, ignoring the pained expressions that both the boys gave her. "Why haven't you told her?"

"Fucking hell," Alec growled, pausing the screen and throwing his controller down on the couch, realizing that they weren't going to be continuing with their game until Isabelle got to put her two cents in.

"Okay, seriously, Izzy," Jace locked his jaw as he stared up at Isabelle, tilting his head to the side. "It's none of your business."

"What are you on about?" She made a face at him. "Of course it's my business! You're my friend, and I think I like her too—I don't get why you haven't told her yet!" She was annoyed now. He met her eyes and quirked an eyebrow, staring at her for a long time. Finally, Jace couldn't help but smirk as he wiggled his body to the side so that he could see around her, and resumed the game that they were playing. Isabelle let out a frustrated growl and a huffing breath and stomped back into the kitchen. Alec looked over at his sister and then at Jace.

"She's pissed at you, bro," he stated the unnecessary as he picked up his controller.

"I think she's just pissed that there's something she doesn't know," Jace laughed.

"You know she's just going to find out what she wants to know anyway, right?" Alec smirked over at his friend. "She's just gonna keep sticking her nose in where it doesn't belong until she knows everything she wants to."

"She has a nasty habit of doing that," Jace muttered.

"I can still hear you!" Isabelle shouted from the kitchen, and both of the boys just laughed in response. They were silent for a good few minutes before Alec cleared his throat and glanced over at him.

"But seriously, bro. Even I can see you love this chick. When you gonna quit being a pussy about it?"

The only response he got was a cushion flying toward his head.

For my two things that have made me feel all happy inside this week; first we have Haleb. If you follow me or my stories you'll already know that I love Caleb and Hanna from Pretty Little Liars. I've been head over heels for this couple for years now, since I was like...Fifteen I think. Haha, so that's some time! These two are such an amazing couple, have been together for years and it helps that they're both sexy as hell ;)

Second thing is Mr Bellamy Blake, from The 100. Shit, this man is beautiful. He's kind of a douche at the beginning of the series—hot, but douchey—and then he grows as a person and becomes all responsible and caring and alpha male etc etc. And let me tell you, when you get older and realize bad boys aren't everything, responsible becomes pretty damn sexy. Hahaha. Especially, if responsible looks like Bellamy Blake.
