Chapter 16 redo and add on.
Chapter will be M rated. Going to give Callen his birthday present.
By Friday Sam was no better. He asked Hetty to let him work with Deeks for a while even. Hetty told him no so Sam demanded to work alone or he was taking vacation time. No one could figure out what was going on with him.
"I hate to see how he acts when you two get married." Said Deeks as they watched Sam storm out of the mission.
Mac and Callen headed back to her place to grab their bags for the weekend trip to Baja. Callen headed out to the car and Mac pulled a huge box out from under the bed and put it on the kitchen table. Callen noticed it as soon as he came back in the house.
"What's this?"
"Your birthday gift." Mac smiled at him. "Open it."
"I thought you were my gift." Said Callen pulling her close for a kiss.
"Just open it will you." Mac pushed away from him and went back to putting a few last minuet things into her back pack.
Callen pulled the paper off and was shocked to find a super deluxe erector set. Over 10,000 pieces that he could fiddle with to build anything.
"I figured when you can't sleep you can work on this instead of taking apart my hair dryer… again."
"Wow." Callen ran his hands over the box. "I always wanted one of these as a kid." Murmured Callen. His eyes held awe as he looked at the box.
"Well I got you the largest set they make." Mac wrapped her arms around him from the side. Callen stood there running his hands over the box like it was made of gold and gems.
"I love it." Callen pulled her close again. "I love you so much."
"I love you too." Whispered Mac.
Callen pulled back and looked her in the eye. "What's wrong?"
"Nothing it's just I've never said that to anyone before. Actually I've never had anyone say it to me either."
Callen pulled her as close as he could and just held her. "Guess I'll have to say it more often then."
Sam's house.
I just don't get it Michelle."
"Sam he's in love. Callen has every right to want to spend all his time with her."
"Yeah but he's never passed up Lakers tickets before."
"I think you're just mad because he didn't tell you about his plans first." Michele sat next to Sam on the bed. "He's still your partner and best friend, just be happy for him."
"I am happy for him." Said Sam.
The phone rang and Sam answered it.
"Yeah Hetty I can be there within the hour." Sam looked at Michele. "Got called in for something."
"Go save the day." Michelle watched Sam leave and couldn't help but feel a bit sad for him.
OSP
"Mr. Hanna the CIA has asked for our help with an overseas operation. I was wondering if you would like to take a place on that team?"
"How long is the operation?"
"From a month to six months we really don't know." Added Granger.
"This operation could save thousands of lives." Said Hetty.
Sam nodded. Michelle wouldn't like it but he needed to get away for a bit.
An hour later Sam had been debriefed on the operation and after a call to Michelle had decided to take the job. He headed home to pack and then Michelle drove him to the airport.
Deek's and Kensi's house.
Deeks came home to find Kensi wearing only one of his shirts and dancing around the living room to a blasting iPod. He closed the door and took dinner into the kitchen. Kensi danced her way into the kitchen and picked a piece of pizza out of the box then danced around the kitchen as she ate it.
"Boy Fern you're in a good mood tonight."
"Something wrong with that." Said Kensi around a bite of pizza.
"No nothing wrong with that."
Deeks leaned against the counter and ate his own pizza while Kensi danced around eating her third piece.
Kensi stopped moving and looked at Deeks. She smiled at him then walked over to him and wrapped her arms around him. "I love you."
Deeks wrapped his arms around her and kissed her. "I love you too Fern."
Kensi pulled back and looked at Deeks for a minute. "I want a baby."
Deeks almost fell over. He couldn't say anything he just stood there with his mouth open looking at her. Kensi reached up and closed his mouth. "Deeks are you still with me?"
"Yeah." Deeks swallowed hard. "You want a baby?"
"Yes I want a baby." Kensi kissed Deeks. "I want your baby."
"Baby, ok we can have a baby." Deeks really was confused. They hadn't talked about having kids; hell Kensi didn't even like kids.
"What brought this on?"
"Nell thought she was pregnant, turns out she isn't but it got me to thinking and I want a baby."
Deeks really didn't know what to say now. He wanted kids. But could he be a good dad he really didn't know.
"So I guess that means you're going off the pill then?"
"Deeks are you ok with this? I kind of figured you wanted little mutant ninja assassins running around." Kensi started to think she got this wrong. "You got us a house and all." She almost whispered the last part suddenly feeling very unsure of herself.
"Fern if you want a baby then let's go make a baby." Deeks picked her up and sat her down on the table.
"Deeks not here you nut." Kensi laughed. They headed to the bedroom Kensi explaining it would take a while to let her body adjust to being off the pill but Deeks insisted lots of practice was still needed.
Kensi stripped and lay back on the bed. Deeks smiled and licked his lips as he stripped.
"Kensi if you change your mind about having a kid…"
"I want this Deeks."
"Ok let's make a baby."
He climbed onto the bed and covered her. Kensi wrapped her legs around Deeks and moved them high on his back. Deeks pushed into her and tossed his head back.
"Oh Deeks, so good."
Deeks moved slowly back and forth. He kept groaning with each thrust. Kensi moved her legs up higher still and Deeks faltered. He smirked at her and grabbed her legs moving them over his shoulders. This made it easier for Deeks to push deeper and hit Kensi's G spot. She screamed out and gripped the sheets.
"Oh Deeks that's the spot. Do it again."
"As my Princess commands."
It didn't take long for both of them to go over the edge.
BAJA
Callen and Mac came out of the water and dropped onto their blanket. "I really needed this." Said Callen as he laid back.
"We both did. I don't remember the last time I traveled for fun."
"Me either. I keep planning on taking these trips but never get around to it."
"We need to try and get away at least once a year."
"Sounds good." Callen smiled over at her. "Later let's start making a list of where we want to go."
"A travel bucket list I like it."
Callen stretched and rolled onto his stomach. Mac looked out at the ocean for a while. Callen snored lightly next to her. Mac picked up the sun screen and layered it on his exposed skin. She didn't need him getting a sun burn on the first day.
Mac then got up and headed for the food stands to get something to drink. It was hot, the sun was bright and there wasn't a cloud in the sky. Mac leaned on the bar and ordered two beers.
She looked around her at the happy people enjoying the beautiful day. Everyone was in bathing suits or shorts and light tops. All except for one older man. He sat off to the side of the bar area in the shade. He sipped at a drink and his eyes met Mac's for only a moment before the bartender handed her the beers. When Mac looked back the man was reading a newspaper. She shrugged and headed back to Callen.
Mac put the cold beer against Callen's arm. "Hey that's cold."
Mac laughed. "It's supposed to be cold."
Callen rolled over and sat up taking the beer from her. "Thanks."
"You may want to put a shirt on your getting a bit pink even with the sunblock."
"Explain to me how you never burn. I thought redheads were supposed to have fair skin?"
"I just always figured I got my darker skin from my dad."
Mac's skin was always a light tan which was at odds with her red hair and green eyes. A lot of people figured she spent a lot of time in a tanning bed.
"You ok?" Callen noticed Mac looking around them like she was looking for something.
"Yeah I'm good. There was a man at the bar wearing a suit who was watching me. Just felt odd is all."
"Not too many people around here that wear suits."
"Yeah." Mac shook her head. "I'm just reading into things too much."
Callen looked around them too at that point. Because of their jobs even a vacation could spell disaster.
"We'll keep a look out in case you spot him again."
"Ok. Now drink your beer I want to go back in the water."
"Yes dear."
That night they got dressed up to go to dinner. Hetty had made them the reservations at a wonderful little seafood place. It was small and dim inside. The hostess showed them to a small table in the back against a wall. She handed them menus before leaving.
"Wow this place is nice." Said Mac.
"Hetty is picking up the tab. She told me we should get whatever we want."
"Hetty thinks we can choose good food on our own huh?" laughed Mac. "Figured we'd be eating from food trucks all weekend."
Callen laughed. "It's my birthday present I think." Said Callen.
They ordered their meals along with a bottle of wine. Callen enjoyed watching Mac try and take apart a lobster.
"Hey don't laugh I've never eaten one before."
Callen put some of his dinner on his fork and fed it to her. Mac smiled at him as she chewed. The dessert cart went buy and Callen noticed Mac watching it.
"You have just as bad a sweet tooth as Kensi."
"Hey I'm on vacation I can eat whatever I want too."
"Really?" asked Callen as he ran his foot up her leg under the table.
"You're going to need to wait till we get back to our room for that."
"I can wait."
Mac laughed at him then finished her dinner. They ordered two different desserts. Mac got a chocolate torte and Callen a lemon cake. They split them both along with some coffee before heading the two blocks back to their hotel.
Callen took his suit coat off and hung it up along with his shirt and pats. He promised Hetty he would not lose any more suits.
Mac kicked off her heals and dropped her jewelry onto the dresser before grabbing a small bag and heading to the bathroom. Callen didn't notice as he was checking his email.
"Anything from Sam?"
"No. Deeks wants us to bring him back some sex wax for his board. Says the place is close to the hotel."
"Ok we can go tomorrow morning. I want to do some shopping anyways."
"Plan on buying me another birthday gift?"
Mac stepped into the bedroom. "I thought I was your gift?"
Callen put his phone down and turned to look at her. She was wearing a dark blue lace bra and matching panties. She had her hair down and wavy from the braid she had it in earlier.
"Wow."
"Another of Hetty's pics." Mac did a slow turn for him then started walking towards him. "Boxers off now."
Callen smiled at her and dropped them.
"Good now sit down."
Callen did as he was told. Mac stood next to him. "Ok it's your birthday you get to choose."
Callen ran his hands up and down her body. "Well you did make a promise at dinner."
Mac smiled and dropped to her knees. Callen gasped as he felt her hand on his cock then her lips wrap around the tip.
"Happy birthday to me." Said Callen. He wrapped his finger thru her hair and just watched. He couldn't remember a blow job ever feeling this good. He couldn't take his eyes off of her as she lowered her head before running her teeth up his shaft.
"Oh hell that's good." Callen said then groaned again as Mac laughed causing Callen to lose it.
"Damn."
Mac lifted her head and swallowed before laughing at him. She then stood and leaned over to kiss him. "Happy birthday Callen."
The next day they went shopping. Callen got directions from the hotel to the surf shop. They walked along the streets stopping at a few shops and carts along the way. They picked up a few small items to take back with them before finding the surf shop. Callen found what Deeks wanted and picked up a few cans.
Mac looked around the shop and found a shell necklace she liked.
"Find something?"
"Yes I did." Mac said showing Callen the necklace.
"Ok I found what Deeks wanted. Still don't understand why $50 wax is better than $20 wax?"
"Well you're not a surfer."
Callen shrugged. He paid for their stuff and took a moment to put the necklace around Mac's neck.
"Beautiful." He said as he let his fingers run down her skin.
Mac smiled then stopped and focused on something across the street.
"What?"
"The man from the beach yesterday I just saw him over there watching me again."
Callen didn't notice anyone watching them. "I don't see anyone."
"I don't get it. No one knew we were coming here except the team. Our room is under an alias." Mac scanned the area. "Could someone have followed us from LA?"
"Maybe." Callen wrapped his arm around her waist. "Let's head back."
"Good idea."
The rest of the weekend went quickly. They spent most of it on the beach or in bed. Sunday afternoon they packed up the car and headed back to LA.
"That was a nice trip."
"Even though you had a stalker?"
"He didn't do anything. Maybe I just reminded him of someone."
"Could be."
"I'll tell Hetty when we get home."
"Maybe Eric and tap into the video system of the hotel and find him."
"No need to worry about it now." Said Mac. She pulled out a tablet and pen. "Ok on to something fun. Let's start that travel list."
MONDAY MORNING OPS
Callen and Mac walked into the mission and went to their desks. Mac noticed an envelope on her desk and opened it. She got up after reading it and handed it to Callen. Kensi and Deeks had just gotten there and knew right off something was not right. Mac looked pale and Callen well he just looked sick.
"Guys what's wrong?" asked Deeks.
"Sam left. He took a job on an overseas task force." Said Mac. Callen dropped the letter and went to find Hetty. Kensi picked it up and she and Deeks read it.
*Mackenna and Callen. This will be hard for everyone but it's something I need to do. I've taken a position on a CIA/NCIS joint task force overseas. I don't know how long it will be before I'm back. Please check in with Michelle when you can. Mac look after our boy and keep him out of trouble. Callen don't screw this up, you'll never find another women to put up with you. Your friend Sam.*
"Wow. Didn't see that one coming." Muttered Deeks.
"Hetty what the hell is going on?" asked Callen when he found her up in ops.
"Mr. Hanna was needed for this operation. I am not aware of why only that he was requested for it."
Callen knew that Hetty was holding something back. Right now he was too mad to think straight.
"For now Miss. Taylor will be your partner in the field. Can the two of you handle that?"
"Yeah we can handle that." Callen went back to his desk and sat down. No one wanted to say anything afraid to upset their team leader. Hetty soon joined them.
"In Mr. Hanna's absence Miss. Blye you and Miss. Taylor will be in charge of Mr. Deeks and Miss. Jones physical and weapons training. I will see that you get all of the information you will need to see they complete the training on time."
Hetty looked at Callen. "Mr. Callen I am very sorry that you were not informed of your partner leaving. You were already gone for the weekend and he didn't want to ruin your birthday."
Callen nodded but stayed quiet. He just hoped Sam would be ok and that he had someone to watch his back.
In all the excitement Mac forgot all about the man watching her.
