Part #2 of the lyrics:

"I almost broke and the truth is that i also had a dream

that you are sitting next to me in the livingroom, and hugging

how i writhed from the pain of love, they didn't tell me it was dangerous "

For some torturous reason, the days since she went to the bar has been running and getting smaller and smaller to almost non existence. Or is it the fact she barely sees Cosima that makes them worth nothing?

The bitter understanding of where Cosima disappears to, especially in the nights, haunts Delphine to sleepless nights waiting for sunlight, desperate for warmth, if not from Cosima, than from the sun.. they are similar, that is.

But with that loud absence, it almost seems as if Cosima is right there, in that balcony that once felt hers. She's so scared of going through that door, what will she see on the canvas? but she did.

When she stepped out, it was as though a painter burglar was here. Colors were all over, small drops of colors on the white floor. The canvas though, was covered with a blanket, and she dared not to move it away. So all she knew of the painting was that it had orange, black, a lot of yellow and some red in it. From the drops on the floor.

Again, Delphine found herself smoking instead of doing at least one of all the things she had to do. Smoking, and looking at the sky, or was it the blanket with the penguins.. she doesn't even know anymore. She kept on going out there, hoping that at least once, she'd have more courage to remove that silly penguin blanket and that it would be enough. But it never came.

Click.

Sarah, Delphine said in her head. She's gotten used to Sarah and her trademark- the clicks of her camera that seems to be always around.

"Hey." Sarah smiled lightly and sat alongside Delphine on the long swing. Felix as well.

"Whatcha doing?"

"Smoking."

"That's it?"

Delphine looked at Sarah. "What do you mean?"

"You might be smoking but you're more looking at that " Sarah points to the painting, "than smoking."

Delphine opened her mouth and shut it, wishing the silence will cover for her. After a minute maybe, Sarah gets up to leave and Felix walks towards the painting. The closer he gets, the more Delphine's heart beats quicker. When Felix is grasping the blanket Delphine almost squills.

"Felix!"

He looks back to Delphine. "Relax will you. It's no secret, but more an invitation, for someone." "Usually, Cosima writes not to look, or locks the rooms, or hell knows, tells everyone not to touch, but here, as you can see, it's ready, waiting to be seen." Felix gives her one last look and suddenly reveals the canvas.

Delphine sees white. But after a few breaths, she acknowledges that white is maybe one of the few colors she does not see.

She looks at the floor, not able to contain herself. Felix joins her on the swing again. Minutes of silence pass, Delphine looking at floor and Felix at the painting.

"Ugh Cos what's your shit?" Felix puffs to the air. At that Delphine joins the staring, despite the nagging feeling of peeking into Cosima's diary.

"How much did she spend here?! this is work of hours." He looked at Delphine. "Or she was being very emotional and expressive while doing it. Violent."

"How do you know?" Suddenly Delphine didn't care of the nagging feeling, she wanted to know more.

Felix got up in enthusiasm towards the painting. "Now look, first, she's painting a storm. This all upper part is a storm, a complete mess.. but when you look from afar, the mess has movement, it's like this cosmos thing Cosima keeps talking on about, the order in the chaos."

"And look here also, i mean it's almost like paths, like wind. But the colors, that's like Cosima's trademark in her art. Those living Colors."

"Because Cosima is so full of life, it shows in her art. And those colors are so her, screaming her." Delphine added, getting into the loop.

"Screaming, yea that's what Cos is doing here, she's screaming something. But even with all the life in the colors…." Felix kept on thinking on his next words while biting his nail. "There's a sad feeling here, something is wrong." Delphine blurts.

"Yes. I mean it's almost foggy, and the mess, well it's alive but it's getting almost crazy, a little like Van Gogh but not that depressed. this is crazy of something that makes you feel. Her feelings are here. Well but that ain't no surprise, Cos only does feelings in her art. That's also why she's so selective with the people she's painting."

"Delphine shit tell me i'm not seeing right."

"What?"

"Is that a person?" Felix points to a very vague area in Cosima's painting, one where all the colors don't touch and there's a mixture of grey and black, down at the right side of the painting.

Delphine gets closer, than back again, and suddenly it makes sense, the more she looks the more she sees. "I think that's a woman, and that " points to a patch of yellow, "this might be her hair, and the down is her shoulders, waist.."

"Holy shit." Felix touches lightly the yellow patch of color. "This 'hair' part, was so brutally done, she literally threw color on the canvas, at least in this part." "Also look how the area around the 'woman' is colder colors, at least compared to the rest of the painting."

"Also look Felix, the 'wind\storm' it gets 'out' of the painting, it stops and feels as if it comes into the air. And between the 'storms\wind', there's like barely color, it could mean void right?"

"Yea." Felix looked surprised at Delphine. "Were you always like this with art?"

Delphine blushed. "No, Cosima taught me."

"Mmm.. Delphine honey, are you doing okay lately?" Felix asked, stopping behind the door before leaving.

"Yes why?" No.

"Nothing, it it's just, you seem a little down lately. I wouldn't wanna offend you but you seemed to lose weight and your hair is not as unicorn as before." Delphine rushing to touch her hair. "No no it's beautiful you are beautiful, we gay people notice personal shit easily. I'm here yea?" He winked and got in.

After a few seconds of worrying she didn't look like shit around Cosima, she really quickly, took a shot with her phone of the painting. (Click), covered it with the blanket and rushed in, even though it was covered, she left one last glance behind. Click.

"Dude i'm exhausted. Maybe some tea?" Cosima said while getting in Delphine's apartment, talking to Alison.

"Yea of course but why are you so exhausted?" Alison asked loudly while already with a spoon in hand.

"Barely slept."

Alison turned to look at Cosima in the eye, quickly a smirk flew from both their lips at the understanding and Alison went back to tea making.

"Why are you so exhausted?" Delphine, who only heard the first part of the conversation, chimed out of her room so spontaneously she failed to notice her heart quicken.

Cosima noticed her and widely opened her eyes. "Umm.. i was studying for a test i have after i get back." She quickly said and chewed her lip. When she had the courage she looked to Delphine but saw only confirmation so she felt relieved for the good lie.

Though she knew from the first look in Alison's eye that she smelled something fishy. She rolled her eyes. "Stop it." Alison told her while sitting near her.

Cosima looked questioning at her. "Oh you know, stop calling me names and rolling eyes at me, i can almost hear it from your brain." Cosima barked with laughter. Was she that obvious?! She laughed and almost dropped her tea. Delphine also almost dropped her tea, from the view of the laughing woman, and Alison also, from Cosima's shaking body near her.

Delphine never knew one person can influence enviroment so much, and if we forget about the physical effect that everyone has, some people can just take something and make it their own. Smell the air, not like it and just change it. That's just what Cosima did, she came and changed everyone's face, made them all a little bit more red and a little more smiling. And when Cosima was sad, it felt like there's air stuck in the room, a patch of air with no meaning, just there, making it feel crowded and chilly. Grey.

Delphine really hoped others could notice it as well, because if it's just her, she knows she's fallen so hard, it might actually be her 'fall'. She doesn't want to think about it.

"Delphine is your name right?" Ayrin asked Delphine in the balcony, both smoking.

"Yes." She replied coolly and tried to find peace in her cigarette.

"You know, i look at this painting, and i see Cosima." Delphine wanted to blow fire at Ayrin. "I mean it's all fire and mess and twirling here and there. No gentleness. Just like Cosima."

Delphine looked at the painting, at Ayrin. Does she not know Cosima? Cosima is more than fire, she's also wind. She's gentle and vulnerable.

Delphine thought about adding her idea to it, to correct Ayrin, but decided that she would rather Ayrin not know anything more about Cosima than she already does. She kept it to herself, feeling a little more whole, knowing there are parts that Cosima does not show everyone but did show her in their light times.

"Ayr- hey." Cosima just stepped out looking for Ayrin, but when she saw Delphine she stopped short. When she looked at the object in front of them her eyes got wide and she looked at Delphine in shock, but in a second she mustered it away.

There was an obvious gap between Ayrin and Delphine on the swing. Cosima slowly approached the area. Delphine started to lose her breath.

While for some unknown reason to Delphine, Ayrin seemed to feel pride in what she saw in the painting and decided to tell Cosima all about it. For Cosima to look at Ayrin while talking, she slowly leaned back until she was leaning half on Delphine, her head near Delphine's neck.

Delphine was white, white but red. She hopped so desperately that Cosima couldn't hear her loud quick heartbeats. Being this close to Cosima, gave her an advantage to her thoughts, or so it seemed to her.

Once in a while Ayrin would say something that to Delphine sounded very not correct, and she literally felt Cosima flinch slightly, as if it stringed her to hear such words as well. For some breaking and uniting seconds, Delphine stopped hearing, she stopped anything and just was there, engulfed in Cosima's smell that was just there like a dream, she closed her eyes and tried to imagine them this close but for different reasons, better ones. Her hands wanted to circle around Cosima, to tighten her to her front and have her hers.

"I think it talks emotions, it's a mess, and that person, that woman with that hair-" "I think we should get inside." Cosima suddenly barged into Ayrin's words and got up, making Ayrin stare at her from still a sitting position.

"Why?"

"I I i don't like when people look at my paintings so much.. come on." She hurried Ayrin inside. "But Cos like Delphine is a person as well.."

Cosima looked at Delphine for a short moment.

"Delphine is looking at the sky." And went inside with Ayrin.
