Sorry for taking so long to update. This chapter is only short, but it has some important aspects to remember. Reviews please guys!

Percy's hearing returned first when the sound of the door clicking closed filled his ears, followed by a floaty voice he recognized.

"Sorry I took so long Leo- I got caught up talking to Myrtle."

Leo? That's a name he recognized.

"That's cool Luna," came Leo's voice.

Leo and Luna were here together. But where's here?

Percy tried to move his mouth or open his eyes but his body seemed to be as heavy as cement.

"Anything?" Luna asked. Percy forced everything into moving.

"No," Leo replied, as a loud breath escaped Percy's barley parted lips, followed by a small whimper of Leo's name.

"Oh my goodness," Luna whispered.

"Percy, mate," Leo said, leaning across Percy's face to see if his eyes were opening.

"Leo," Percy breathed again, his eyes fluttering open.

"Sleeping beauty awakes!" Leo said as his and Percy's brown and blue eyes inspected each other's.

"I killed the Minotaur," Percy whimpered.

"Yeah yeah we know," Leo replied, sitting back. Percy slowly rolled his neck to the right to see Leo and Luna sitting on two chairs beside where he lay in a hard matressed, white sheeted bed. As his eyes adjusted to the light he worked out where he was.

"Then what happened?" Percy asked, his voice raspy.

"I didn't see it," Leo answered, motioning to Luna to explain.

"You collapsed, and a dark mist burst over your body," Luna stepped in. "At first we thought it was a dementor, so Harry cast a Patronus. Turns out it wasn't a dementor."

"Then what was it?" Percy asked.

"They haven't worked that out," Leo replied. "But McGonagall fought it off."

"Is everyone else alright?" Percy asked, trying to push himself into a sitting position, but found himself too weak to.

"Well, not exactually," Leo stood and moved his seat so Harry could see behind him. He squinted at the bed which held the lump of a body. A mop of black hair escaped the top of the blankets. He glanced to the bed side table where a folded pair of glasses sat.

"Harry," Percy whispered. Leo sat back down closer to Percy's feet so he could still see is wizard friend in the next bed.

"Whatever the creature was, it wasn't happy when he shot the patronus at it," Luna explained. "It attacked him. He's been unconscious ever since- just like you." Percy squeezed his eyes shut.

"How long have I been out?"

"Two years," his eyes shot open at Leo's reply. "Nah, just three weeks." Luna shoved her shoulder into Leo's.

"Where's Annabeth?"

"Her and Ginny have barley left this room since the accident," Luna explained. "McGonagall demanded they take some time to attend lessons, so they asked us to sit in and watch you."

"When will she be back?" Percy asked.

"When last lesson is over in about 20 minutes," Luna explained. 20 minutes, Percy repeated in his head. He lowered his eyes from his friends faces, and that's when he noticed something.

"Your holding hands?" He declared, almost like a question.

"Ah yeah," Leo replied, his grip tightening on Luna's. "We are…" Percy smiled mischievously.

"That's sah cute," he laughed, putting on a girly voice.

"Oh your funny Fish Face," Leo replied, right as the doors burst open and Madame Pomfrey entered.

"You two!" She hissed, "Keep the noise down!"

"Madame, Percy is awake," Luna answered, turning to the nurse. Pomfrey's jaw slacked and she hurried to Percy's side.

"My goodness," she began checking fever and such. "How are you feeling?"

"Bit weak," Percy replied. "But not too bad."

"Good, good," the nurse reached into her apron and removed a handful of Ambrosia, "Here, Chiron instructed you eat this when you wake." Percy found his arm too heavy to move, so Pomfrey fed it into his mouth.

"To bad the wizard chocolate doesn't help us," Leo said. "Much tastier then that stuff."

"Alright you two, you've skipped enough lessons, go do some catch up homework somewhere else," Pomfrey instructed. "I can watch Harry and Percy." Leo moaned softly, before Luna grabbed his hand and led him to the door.

"See ya Seaweed Brain," he called back, as they slipped through the door.

"Shhh!" hissed Pomfrey, before turning back to Percy. "Alright, Chiron's going to be more help for you so I'll send for him. Just keep nibbling on that Ambrosia."

[line break]

With knees scrunched up beneath his chin, Nico sat on his bed staring at the dark drapes. For two weeks he hadn't left his dorm room. Two weeks he had spent hiding in the dark, his mind full of thoughts of regret.

He'd left the sword behind with the hope Percy would use it to permanently kill the minotaur, and he had, but Nico had not anticipated that the sword might take Percy's strength to. Therefore, Percy's accident and unconscious state was all Nico's fault.

Really, all Nico wanted to do was leave Hogwarts now, but at the same time he didn't want to desert Percy while he was in this state. He had deserted his friends enough in the past few years.

Down the stairs in the Slytherin common room, the students were arriving in conversation of the news Percy had woken up. The news was meant to be a secret amongst the teachers and close friends, atleast until dinner time, but naturally- the whole school knows. Except for,

"Nico. Someone should go tell Nico," one of the third year boys was saying to his group of friends.

"Oh stuff Nico," Clarisse spat, interrupting the younger students conversation. "That kid is the world's biggest emotional wreck."

"He was in the bathroom around midnight last night when I went in," spoke up a fifth year. "He rushed from the sinks into a toilet cubicle and hid."

"Weirdo," laughed one of the girls.

"Isn't he the son of Hades?" Asked a first- year.

"Yeah," Clarisse replied.

"Maybe we shouldn't be rude like that then," spoke up another first year. "I mean, can't the gods hear everything?" A few of the students began looking around unsuringly, regretting anything they had said earlier.

"Hades doesn't give two shits about Death breath," Clarisse replied, and a few students giggled. "He was… a mistake."

"You were the only mistake Clarisse," snarled another female voice. The Slytherins turned to see Thalia had just entered the common room. Clarisse let out a loud laugh.

"You're telling me that I'm the mistake," Clarisse turned back to the Slytherins. "Have you lot heard the story of Thalia and her loving father?"

"Shut your mouth Clarisse."

"Well, Thalia's mother was deserted by her dad and became 'unstable'."

"Clarisse," Thalia growled.

"Until she deserted her aswell, so her dad repaid her by turning Thalia Grace in-" There was a loud cracking sound, and everyone turned in horror to Thalia standing with a crackling lightning bolt in her firm grip. A/N

"Clarisse," she growled. "Shut. Your. Mouth." Clarisse was silent, but smiled tightly in order to show she wasn't really defeated. The common room was silent except for the crackling of the bolt, until the sound of footsteps coming down the staircase was heard. Everyone looked to see Nico hurrying down quickly, his black cloak billowing out and blending him with the shadows.

"Aw, someone told him," Clarisse sighed in sarcastic defeat. Nico gave a quick glance between Thalia, Clarisse and the bolt before heading out of the common. Thalia distinguished the bolt and hurried after him.

"That was intense," one of the fifth years spoke up, and conversation recommenced.

Upstairs in his dorm, Draco stood with the door open, listening to the faint voices down below. He was in disbelief that nobody wanted to tell Nico that Percy was awake, so he'd hurried upstairs to tell him.

But now he was able to look back and realise that two years ago, he would've done the same as all the others down there. And deep inside, he felt bad.

Authors Note (A/N)

I am aware that Rick never wrote the demigods to have any hugely exceptional powers, but I really wish they did so there we go, Thalia can summon lightning!

Review Questions and Queries responses

pragmatiki-eikona (+ others) are the romans going to be in the story?

Well this is one of those fanfiction stories where I literally make it up as I go but yes, I would like to find a realistic way to bring the romans into the story.

marice21 (+ others) I just want to point out that Nico is GAY

I know that Rick wrote Nico to have a crush on Percy, and I have nothing against gays but I am going to make Nico straight in my story for personal reasons. Although I have nothing against gays, I am a Catholic and I come from a strong family of the religion and I would just feel uncomfortable writing Nico as a gay character- plus I worry that if I say something wrong by accident I may offend someone. This doesn't mean I'll just drop the fact Nico admitted to liking Percy, he's just going to move on. Remember he was only very young when he had his crush on him. I hope you all understand.

Meena Parker if you were to have Thalia in a couple, who would it be with?

I will stick with Thalia's commitment to the hunters of Artemis and she will remain single in my story.

yyy you should put Thalia in the Quidditch team

Just remember that the demigods are not like the other students and they can't actually use the broomsticks.
