I told you guys I'd be back! And here I am! I hope some of you still read this, and I hope at least one of you will leave a review! Well lets get started! See you at the bottom!

"You smell horrid..." Vince said to Dogmeat, who just wagged his tail at his master's words.

"Yeah you think I'm saying something good don't you? Who's a smelly dog, huh? Who stinks like mole rat meat? You do! Yes you do!" Vince rubbed the dog's head as Dogmeat still wagged his tail.

The Lone Wanderer was always a busy man. One day he would be defeating the Enclave, the next saving a town from an ant infestation. The things he did varied from importance, but the point was he was always busy. Things, he noted, were different here. Louise rarely let him attend her classes, Siesta was always busy, and there were to many rules on school grounds to do anything of importance.

"Excuse me, Mr. Vince?" Colbert said, walking into the perfume scented room.

Acting on reflex, Vince took out Amata and aimed the 10mm pistol right at the man's head, ready to kill. It took The Lone Wanderer only a second to realize his mistake, and he put away his weapon.

"Christ man, don't sneak up on me like that. Knock next time, would you?" He said.

"Apologies, but I did knock. Three times even, however you didn't answer..." The professor said with a cocked brow.

Vince muttered an apology before noticing the large scroll Colbert was holding. "May I ask what you're holding Mr. Colbert?"

"Well Vince I have fantastic news, even though it's a bit peculiar. Whenever you were summoned by Louise those weeks ago, I never had the opportunity to pinpoint your rune, however after a bit research I believe I found it, or rather an old associate of mine told me about it long ago..." The Professor excitedly said, putting down the scrolls.

"I noticed this weird thing the day she summoned me, but I didn't bother figuring it truth be told. I was busy adjusting to this peculiar world.." Vince admitted, staring at the odd symbols on his hand.

"The thing is Vince, runes are normally written on the familiar in our current language, so we may translate it easier and get a more modern meaning, but yours is very different." Colbert wiped sweat off his forehead, incredibly excited at the revelation he found.

"What's so different about it?" Vince questioned, thoroughly intrigued.

"I recognized the language immediately as Zuruk, the ancient language of people who previously resided in this land. Upon translating, it came up as a meaning I've never heard of before!"

"And what would this meaning be?"

"Alpha Omega." Jean Colbert grinned. "I'm not sure what it means, but regardless this is an amazing discovery..."

Vince's heart stopped at the words which flowed off of Colbert's tongue. It's been years since the young man heard his father say it, and years since he's felt the impact of it's meaning.

"That...certainly is odd..." Vince began. "And I think I know what it means..."

"You do? Excellent! What is it?"

The Lone Wanderer took a sharp breath before beginning. "In my world, we had a different god. His name was God. God gave us a book, full of rules and proverbs meant to help guide us in life. The final chapter in this book was one called Revelations, and in this chapter was a passage entitled Revelation 21:6. This was my mother's favorite passage, and I grew up hearing about it. I have it memorized actually. The verse says: 'I am Alpha Omega, the beginning and the end, I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life, freely'. This passage talks about how God is all powerful and helps people I guess..."

"Peculiar..." Colbert murmured, rubbing his chin. "I'll research this more and try to find something related to that passage..."

"Once you find something professor, please tell me first thing."

Jean smiled before gathering his scrolls. "Of course Vince." He said, leaving the room.

"What the hell is going on here?" Vince groaned, falling back onto Louise's abnormally soft bed.

"Woof!" Dogmeat barked.

"Now we may have a five minute break before studying the physical properties of water magic..." The teacher concluded as she exited the stuffy classroom.

"Why is this class so boring?" Kirche sighed.

"Why are you talking to me?" Louise asked, annoyed by the red head's friendliness.

"Oh settle down Valliere! I'm not always out to get you..." She said.

"Whatever..." Louise said, closing her book.

"So how are you and that familiar working out? Has he gotten better?" Montmorency questioned, sitting down next to Louise.

"Aw why didn't you bring him! He makes my fire burn so brightly!" Kirche exclaimed, making Louise and Montmorency slightly disgusted.

"I can't bring him because he embarrasses me in front of the teachers. And no he has not gotten better. He's always either cleaning those horrifying weapons, solving some outlandish mathematical equation, or playing some odd music off that weird thing on his wrist..." Louise complained.

"Is he cute when he sleeps?" Kirche asked.

"Why must you ask questions like that?" Tabitha quietly asked.

"I wish he slept! He rarely rests, and when he does it's only for two hours at most. He almost shot me when I tried to wake him up once! It's like having a royal paladin in my room!" The pink haired mage said.

"What are you going to do about him tomorrow then? If he's so untrained he's going to embarrass you..." Montmorency said.

"What do you mean? What's happening tomorrow?" Louise worriedly inquired.

"You haven't heard? Really? It's been the buzz of the academy for weeks. The Queen herself is visiting..." Kirche explained.

"What?!" Louise screamed, drawing attention from the other students. Normally they would laugh and mock her, however everyone was afraid Vince would somehow know about it.

"It's true, The Queen is coming and we must all show off our familiars to her. I think it's a way for the school to impress her majesty." Montmorency said.

"Fantastic. What am I supposed to have Vince show off? I don't think he has any huge talents..."

"He might have something else that's huge..." Kirche whispered in a lust filled manner.

"Perhaps he could play violin? Or maybe fight somebody? If he took down a royal guard, you would gain a lot of respect as his master..." Montmorency suggested.

"I don't know, but I'll have to think of something soon..." Louise said as she banged her head onto the table.

/

"Talents? What do you mean?" Vince asked, confused at Louise's sudden need for The Lone Wanderer to have an act by tomorrow.

"Do you have any special abilities you can do? Specifically ones you already know, as it's tomorrow..." She said, arms crossed.

"I don't get it, what's happening tomorrow?"

"The Queen is coming you idiot! All second years have to show off their familiars to her, and you'll be on of them. So what can we do to show you off and earn me some respect?"

Vince thought for a second before snapping his fingers. "I'm great at cooking, playing violin, mathematics, and shooting things. I really like shooting things..."

"You aren't shooting anything..." Louise said. "But I suppose we could work with cooking and violin. What do you play on the violin?"

"Mozart, Beethoven, Baltazar, Fritz to name a few..." He said.

"I don't even know what those are...whatever...how well do you cook?"

"I make a mean iguana casserole..." Vince smiled, being completely honest.

"I forget that you came from a hellish world..." Louise groaned. "Looks like you'll be playing violin...do you have one?"

Vince clicked a few buttons on his Pip-boy before In his hands a violin materialized out of thin air. It was old, but it worked.

"I will never understand how that contraption on your arm summons things..." The Pink Haired mage said.

"It doesn't necessarily summon things, but materializes them from it's...never mind. Just know it isn't magic."

"Listen Vince, The Queen is important to me, so it's important that you impress her and don't embarrass me. I know we don't always get along, but for the love of the founder please play the best you can and gain her majesty's favor..." Louise pleaded.

"Alright. Don't worry about it, I'll be fine..." He smiled reassuringly.

She only nodded.

The next day...

"Flame, please demonstrate 'fire storm'." Kirche said to her fire salamander. The red lizard proceeded to shoot a wave of flames over the audience, though for enough for them not to even feel the heat.

The ensemble of teenage mages all "Aww'd" at the display before clapping their hands. With a quick bow to The Queen, Kirche exited the stage with Flame in tow. Next was Tabitha and her dragon. The winged creature did a variety of flips in the air before landing on stage, earning a standing ovation from the students.

"I've seen recruits to better maneuvers on Vertibirds than that dragon can do.." Vince said, unimpressed at the aerial capabilities of the dragon.

"I don't know what that means, but you're next. Are you ready?" She asked.

"Mhm.." He said, showing her his violin.

"Where is your sheet music?" She questioned.

"I don't need it, I have the piece I'm playing memorized..." He smiled, tapping his head.

"Miss Louise, it's your turn..." Jean Colbert said.

"Very well. Come Vince..." She said, walking up the stage. Vince followed.

"My name is Louise Valliere, and this is my familiar. Vince. As you can tell he is human, and amongst talents such as fighting, he also plays the violin. Proceed Vince."

"I will play a small part from Mozart's violin Concerto number five, I hope you enjoy..." He said, giving a slight bow. Many girls in the audience blushed profusely at the school bad boy being polite.

The Lone Wanderer began playing , letting the music fly through the air as if it was alive. The strings made noises so beautiful some students didn't knew existed, and caused the Queen to smile immensely at the tune.

He played for a few minutes before coming to a slow stop, bowing again, and leaving the stage with Louise. Everyone applauded, even The Queen herself stood up to clap.

"How do you play so well?" Louise whispered as they walked off stage.

"I don't think I play that well. My dad always told me my mother played better." Vince softly smiled.

Citadel. Earth.

Sarah Lyons was tough, to say the least. She's killed super mutant overlords with a 10mm pistol, helped punch the Enclave in the testicles, and was the leader of an elite group of Brotherhood Paladins. She was always told she was the best of the best, the pride of The Brotherhood. This changed whenever a man named Vince showed up. Vince was what the best of the best aspired to be. He killed super mutant overlords with his glare, and was the reason Sarah was able to punch the Enclave in the testicles. Vince was the hero of the wasteland. And now, he was gone. And Sarah couldn't take it.

"Alright pride, listen up..." She began. "As you all know, Vince has been missing for a few weeks..."

They all sadly nodded.

"Now we can't lose him at a time like this. We just defeated the Enclave for good, the purifier is running efficiently, and the wasteland is slowly getting better. Things are going well and we need him here. Am I right?"

"Yes mam!" Her squad responded.

"Damn right! The Brotherhood is now getting ready for Operation: Bring That Fucker Home, or BTFH. We're going to be doing sweeps of the wasteland. Everywhere from Ten-penny tower to The Republic of Dave. The Brotherhood scribes will also be doing radio broadcasts to inform the wasteland their hero is gone, and searching for Vince's Pip-boy radio output signal. Lets bring The Lone Wanderer back pride!" Sarah raised her fist in the air, earning supportive yells from her comrades.

"Yeah! Let's get your boyfriend back!" Paladin Kodiak yelled, making the rest of the pride laugh.

"Shut it Kodiak." Sarah warned.

Sorry that this kinda sucked, but I'm trying to get in the groove of things. I hope you enjoyed! And I'll see you next time! It's good to be back! (:
