Hiya mechs and femmes! I'm back with a new update for TE! I plan to update most of my other stories soon and if I can't you can certainly expect me to do so on Turkey Break. Any way back to the story!
For a long time we both just stared at each other. Both of us with a look of shock and confusion until Jazz broke out into a grin and sauntered up to me. No doubt very pleased that he was taller than someone that wasn't a minibot.
"Da All-spark, huh? Ya think it'll make meh taller?" Jazz asked with half a grin because he was actually serious.
"I don't know. I didn't know that it had done this to me until a few moments ago." I answered in confusion. I cocked my helm to the side as I looked at him and then back down at my new servos that I had been staring at before I began to stare at my...I know not exactly what to call him. My audios flicked back and forth as Jazz began to laugh and pat my helm.
"Dang femme, yah are jus' like Prowler, Twiler!" I scowled at my new nick name, secretly enjoying the ability to do so. But he seemed not to notice, he just continued with his small rant. "Ah need ta get yah on da fun side of Cybertron fast or ya gonna be ah stick in da tar like Prowler."
"For one his designation is not Prowler, nor is mine is Twiler. And such a nick name makes no sense whatso ever. And second...why do I need to see this 'fun side of Cybertron.' and what is a stick doing in tar in the first place?" Jazz stared at me for a few more breems then he burst out in a full blown laugh that made me pin back and hiss at the sheer volume. After he finished laughing and his cooling vents spinned faster to cool his overheating frame he then grabbed my upper arm and started dragging me out of the gardens.
"Wait, where are we going?"
"Ah'll tell ya 'ater femme. Time ta show yah da high life of a Cybertronian!"
Why am I both scared and excited for this?

It has been decacycles since then. And I have been exposed to another type of Cybertron that I am unsure I wanted to know about. I guess in a way it was 'fun', but Jazz was the real one who seemed to enjoy it. I preferred when he left me in his housing unit and I could read all the datas I wanted. I also got introduced to his 'music' preferences. Though I would listen to classical music with its calming sounds rather than that stuff the visor-ed mech likes so much that I'm sure is trying to make me go deaf.
In return he bought me an instrument of some kind I believe he called it a cyber lyre. And he gave me enough credits to get me lessons, and I actually love it enough to make it a bit of my secret hobby. He also told me all about Cybertron that I did not already know about from what I knew myself or what I learned from being with Prowl.
Prowl.
I miss the mech so much. His calming voice and the side of him that only I have ever seen, not even Jazz or Barricade has seen, to which I feel honored to so much. I can only hope he does not miss me too much. Then again, from Jazz has told me he does miss me, and very much so actually.
He has all of the Praxus Enforcer station looking for me and even when the logical deadline for finding a pet passed he did not give up. it both warmed my spark and broke it a bit, when I found out he cared so much about me.
But of course, my time with Jazz wasn't all mental learning and peace.
I'm not sure how nor do I think I wanna know why but Jazz somehow created a file for my Cybertronian self. Apparently I am Twilightdancer and I am from the same city as Jazz and after the murder of my family unit and guardians I was left to Jazz since he was a close family friend even though I was of age to live on my own I was placed into the Enforcer caste and Jazz was going to be my trainer until I was going to be placed here in Praxus as an Underground agent to spy on the under belly. He trained me in weapons and servo to servo combat, and besides my claws I apparently had a very large hammer, dual blaster pistols, and a staff. Seems that I was more for close quarters despite my small size.
The day finally came that my training was done and I was to go to the station to be signed in and given my first mission.
Please let Prowl be off this cycle.
000000000000000000
I feel so nostalgic walking into this place, the desks, computers, the bots, slag even the floor brought memories. Only this time I wasn't in Prowl's little datapad basket, no, this time I was walking into here as one of their 'green' newcomers with Jazz holding my servo in reassurance.
Enforcer Headquarters in Praxus.
It was so different now, it seemed...sadder, and even a bit more runned down. Did my disappearance effect them all this much?
"Hiya! Are you are new Underground agent? Great! It's an honor to meet you Twilightdancer! I will be your handler for whenever you come here to report in person, and I am just so giddy at this thought! I use to work on offline frames now I'm doing this! *Squeal* This is so exciting!"
Dear Primus above, please anybody but...
"I'm designated Sirensong! And I have been working here since I was in my third frame!"
Slaggit, why dear Primus do you torture me so?
Flicking my visored helm helm to see the very first femme and bot I met when I first came here in my true form. And I still do not like her, at, all. Now she is my handler and partner, Primus must really hate me.
Jazz had slipped from being here while I was lost in thought only leaving me a 'good luck' message over my comm that made me wanna strangle the mech later as I followed Siren and I tried to tune out her useless chatter and annoying voice only taking note of the useful data that she occasionally spouted out. I replied accordingly and asked questions when I either needed it or I needed to ask to keep appearances up.
Only for two very familiar black and white mechs over at their desks when they should have been off this cycle. One of which was a very tired door winger. I had stopped to gaze at them catching my 'handlers' attention. she followed my gaze and squealed causing me to flinch and my audios to pin back at the pitch and sheer volume. Seems that she was fanfemmeing out at the sight of the two mech and was speaking in a swooning voice as she explained to me who they are.
"Those are our TOP enforcers when it comes to any case given to them. The one with red optics is Barricade from Kaon, don't worry he just likes to act big and scary but he's a real sweet mech once you know him."
I know, "And who is the Praxian opposite to him?" I asked already knowing the answer but I had to play along. I saw the look she was giving me and I can't help but wonder what that was about. Did I say something wrong?
"That is our number one enforcer besides the Chief, Prowl. He is the top of the line strategist and is a very good mech, and he is MINE so don't try anything." It took all my Primus given control to not snort and roll my optics under my visor. Prowl would never choose her to be his mate, she annoyed him and knew nothing about him besides the practical coworker worship she had for him. Not to mention her handling of me whenever I was with her in my true form showed she cannot handle pets, let alone having kits that I secretly knew that Prowl wanted. (You shall never tell him I know that.) "But seeing that you will no doubt work with them in the future we should introduce you to them, just remember what I said." And with that she stalked off towards them. I hope this will be over quickly so I can get to my mission and -hopefully-get beck to Prowl in my true form.
"-Prowl, it's been almost a Megacycle. I you haven't found her now with those injuries you won't find her ever, offlined frame or not."
"It would be illogical for her to disappear like this, given her injuries she would have seeked aid of somekind and them returned very much so to her routine that she had when she lived on the streets to survive. There is a very high chance however, that she had been captured into the animal smuggling ring and is to be sold off after she recovered. I plan to find the ring before that happens."
The Kaon enforcer was about to speak again only to take notice to our presence and causing them to look up. One with interest and the other with a look I could not recognize.
"Hello Prowl. " I clenched my servos secretly and tried to keep a straight face as Siren seductively purred and leaned up close to the mech into his personal space-which he hated- and was barely showed any professionalism. "And you Barricade, this is out new Underground agent Twilightdancer."
The Koanian gave me a greeting that I assumed was to be friendly, but scary at the same time. Prowl said nothing merely looked at me, I was trying very hard not to let my cooling vents to speed up. I could keep a straight face no problem, but this mech was my 'owner' and I MAY have a small crush on the bot. It is very hard to keep my 'cool' as Jazz once said.
"Twilightdancer, I have heard of you from Jazz. My deepest sympathies for your family unit and I hope that we will work well with each other in the future." Prowl as ever gave a formal greeting, at the sound of his voice made my spark give a small shiver while Siren practically swooned at his voice, I kept my composure.
"Thank you, enforcer Prowl. And I hope as well that we will work together in the future." My soothing alto voice came out even and formal since we have not technically met yet and it would be rude and illogical for me to greet him like I was an old friend. I looked over him and at his condition and began to tread carefully with my next words. "Pardon and apologies if this sounds rude but who were you talking about earlier." Siren sharply elbowed me hard enough to minor-ly dent my tank armor and hissed at me.
"No apologies needed Twilightdancer, we were discussing my pet cybercat Twilight who has been missing for almost a megacycle. My partner here thinks that I should dismiss her saying that she could very much be offline now and her frame melted down, but since she use to be wild before she was a pet I find it illogical that something like that would happen to her. So I will not give up on her." My spark pratically melted at the devotion and care he had for me. But I managed to keep my composure.
"May I see an image of this pet? I have been in Praxus for almost two megacycles, I may have seen her on the streets." I offered gently, when all three sets of optics looked at me and seemed to spark with hope I felt my spark warm a bit. When Prowl showed me an holo-image of my true form I stared at it for a bit with a semi-thoughtful look, as I tried to think of something to say when an idea came to me. "She looks familiar, I may have seen her in the market area but she was not that clean when I saw her. It was only a couple of cycles ago, so she may be there still."
The next part happened rather fast. Prowl actually shook my servo thanking me for the help while Barricade gave me a full blown hug as Siren looked like she was ready to chop off my helm but thanked me all the same and gave me my first mission and practically shoved me out of the office saying I had a decacycle to get in and send my first report as soon as possible.
After taking much back trails as I could to make sure no one was following me or could see me as I returned to my true form, and headed towards the market district.
Ruefully, I purposely dirtied myself to where not alot of average bot would recognize me and even got into a few fights with alley cybercats so I had injuries that made the statement that I have been on my own for awhile. It seemed the left over all-spark energy got what I was doing and semi healed some of them so they didn't look to fresh. The things I do for Prowl was the only thought I had as I shuffled into an alley within view of the market.
Two joors past when I saw a familiar form elbow his way through the large group with a smaller frame mech with similar paint job scanning the ground for me. I gave a loud mew causing both helms to snap in my direction. I gave another mew as I limped into view, they both practically ran and shoved bots out of the way as they raced towards me.
"TWILIGHT!" The smaller mech yelled and scooped me up and brought me close to his spark chamber actually quivering with relief not minding my filthy frame. At seeing my injuries he actually growled at the sight making me quiver and give a pitiful mew in response making his hard look soften as he carefully nuzzled me his engine rumbling. I rubbed my muzzle against his face and weakly purred.
"I got you Twilight, nothing will happen to you ever again." I only mewed again. I didn't notice Barricade smile a fanged smile and left so much as a word with the smaller mech, all that I cared was I was back with him.
My Prowl
0000000000000000
After a ugh...bath, Prowl fixed me up and once again I was snuggled up on top of his Spark chamber in his new housing unit. I was very near recharge purring with my optics off as his stark white servo stroked along my spinal strut and rubbed in between my audios in the circular motion that I liked so much. I really missed this, Prowl's pets are the best. When Prowl unexpectedly spoke.
"That new Underground agent enforcer, Twilightdancer, she led me to you Twilight. I hope her mission will go smoothly so I can see her again and thank her properly."
I only gave a small mew and purred deeper. You already are.
How was that? Hope ya liked it mechs and femmes! You all know what to do by know and till next time this is Shimmer Mane signing off.
