So Sorry for the long wait... have been very busy lately.. but I hope you all enjoy this chapter
It had been over a month and a half. Hope was running low. People walk around with grim faces and dull eyes. 15 division changed when she came, and it changed again when she left. Since it had been so long, most people believed she wouldn't come back, that she was dead. Only a small group of people believed that she wasn't, that she was alive, that she would be home soon. That group consisted of those closest to her, that knew she was strong, a fighter.
Andy's POV
Days, nights, weeks she couldn't even tell what they were anymore. She didn't know how long she'd been trapped in this box. Her body ached, but pain was no object. It wasn't something that she could feel anymore. She'd been planning her escape for awhile now, she knew it would come, it always did.
She heard the door open and lifted her head. "Ah! So good to see you again" Says Anton in a cheery voice. "Wish I could say the same, but it just hurts to much to see your ugly face." Replied Andy with a smirk. Anger bubbled in Anton's eyes, yet his smile never faltered. "Well lucky for you then I will be back in a few hours. Rest up Andy it's going to be a long night." Anton said with a laugh while patting her cheek and then walking out.
Andy slumped back in her chair and sighed, she didn't know how much more of this she could take. She closed her eyes and tried to get some rest before the beating she knew was coming later.
Frank Best ordered everyone to gather in the parade room in 10. So as he walked through the door he noticed everyone was there. "Okay, lets quieten down please... We have received an anonymous tip on the whereabouts of a warehouse owned by Anton Hill. As of yet..." The room erupted in chatter causing Frank to stop. "Quiet please. As I was saying, as of yet we are unaware as to whether this is a false tip or whether this is real. So I want Detective Barber and Officer Swarek coming up with the attack plan. I need you ready to go in 2 hours. Let's move!" Officers were everywhere all anxious to see if they would be getting Andy back today or if they were just breaching an abandoned warehouse.
2 hours later
Dressed with their bullet proof vests and with their guns in hand, all the officers were stood in their allocated places waiting for the 'okay' on the breach.
"All teams move in" came down the earpieces in everyone ones ear. Finally it was time to find out whether or not they would be getting Andy back or if they really should give up. $ doors burst open at the same time and teams stormed in. Bullets were fired and people killed.
Jerry POV
Jerry stormed though the door leading his team to find his little sister. His mind was filed with thought of 'what if she's not here?' 'What if I never see her again?' but he knew he had to focus so he pushed the thoughts to the back of his mind and focused on the task at hand. He continued to move forward, clearing room after room. He heard the rooms being cleared though his earpiece and the shots being fired. There was no sign of Hill yet and only one room left to clear. He stood on one side of the door while Sam stood on the other. He gave the nod and Sam burst through the door gun raised. What he saw shocked him. Anton Hill sat in a chair in the middle of t he room with his head in his lap. Chanting 'She did it again, how did she do it again?' quietly to himself. 'Stand up and slowly put your hands in the air' shouted Jerry. Hill ignored him and just continued to chant. This was a sight that neither Jerry nor Sam ever expected to see. Anton Hill looked like a broken man. 'Stand up slowly and put your hands behind your back' Jerry shouted again, this time louder. Anton again did not respond however he did look at Jerry. 'How did she do it again?' Anton asked 'Where is she?' shouted Sam angrily. 'She escaped. I came back and there were bodies littering the floor, she was gone! How did she do it again?' he said angrily. Jerry released the breath he was holding, relief took over his face. Sam looked over at him 'why do you look relived, we don't have a clue who she's with now' Sam said annoyed. 'she's fine Sam. this has happened before, she has a friend who gets her out of trouble quite a bit actually. She'll call soon don't worry.' Jerry said easily with a cheerful tone to his voice for the first time in nearly 3 months.
They took Anton back to the station and Jerry filled everyone in on the situation. 'We went to the warehouse and found Anton Hill however we did not find officer McNally, it seems that someone got there before us and managed to get her out. I urge you not to worry as this has happened before and I am expecting a call from her in the next couple of hours to say that she is alright. You can all get back to work now and I greatly appreciate all the help you have given me in finding my sister.' everyone filed out of the board room except those closest to Andy.
'Are you sure about this Jerry, I mean we have no proof that she was rescued and not taken by another enemy.' asked Dov in a nervous voice. 'Yes Dov I am sure. This has happened a couple of times actually and I usually get a call within a couple of hours of her rescue so I will let you all know when she contacts me.' and with that Jerry left the room to continue work with a smile on his face.
It had been over 3 hours now since they busted the warehouse. Anticipation was growing on whether or not Andy would actually call. Jerry was the only person in the precinct who was not on edge about the situation.
Jerry's phone rang. 'Barber' answered Jerry. 'Hey big brother, how you doin?' Jerry jumped up and was suddenly paying attention 'Andy' he said in the most relieved, excited tone. 'Hey' she replied sounding just as relieved. 'Are you ok? Where are you?' Jerry asked desperately wanting to see his i=sister in flesh after so long of worrying about her ' I'm fine Jerry and I'm going to stay with Aaron for a few weeks.' she said nervously. 'No Andy you need to come home so I can look after you. Everybody's been really worried.' he said. 'I'm fine Jerry but I think I just need a couple of weeks of calm to get better before I come back because when I do you'll all want to be around, and I get your worried and I appreciate it, but I just need a little bit of space.' Andy said sadly. 'Okay Andy I understand but you better call me every day or I will come and find you, and you better call mum and dad as well they have been freaking out, this is the longest you have been gone' Said Jerry. 'Yeah I know and I promise I will call every day. How is everyone by the way?' she asked 'there okay but you need to call mum and dad and then get some rest. I will talk to you properly tomorrow. Alright?' Jerry asked. 'Alright, I'll speak to you tomorrow. Love you Jerry' she said tiredly. 'Love you to Andy' and then he hung up the phone only to turn around and see through the window that basically the whole of the precinct was looking at him expectantly. He laughed to himself and then left to fill them in and put their minds at ease.
Andy's POV
Andy was startled awake by a banging sound. 'what is that?' she though and then it hit her that was gunshots. Had help finally come? The gunshots were followed by shouting and the footsteps were getting closer. The door in front of her burst open and the person standing in the doorway had a bright smile on his face at the sight of her. 'Well it took you long enough' she said grimly. 'Oh its great to see you to' he said sarcastically. 'Sorry, it took us a bit longer to find this time. I mean after we found this place we had to come up with a good plan and that took a while. This place has really great security this time. I mean wow.' he said apologetically. 'That's great, but do you think we could have this conversational little bit later coz I have been sat in this chair in a dark room now for who knows how long and I seriously need to move' Andy said annoyed, all the while very happy to see her friend. 'Oh right, yeah' he said feeling stupid.
They got Andy out and took her back to their headquarters for medical treatment. It was location and a few people knew the location Andy was fortunate to know this location as she had been there before for a few different reasons. She gave herself time to be looked at and relax before she called Jerry. She decided that she didn't want her family or her co-workers to see her like this so she is going to stay with Aaron for a while. She knew that he'd look after her and his team was practically her other family anyway she did spend a lot of time with them.
Andy called her brother and let him know the situation. Then she called her parents. They were so happy to hear from her you could practically see them smiling through the phone. However being held by a thug for so long took a lot out of you so Andy settled down for a restless sleep in her bedroom at Aarons.
