Where's Joker? Part 1
"Alfred."
"Yes, Master Bruce?"
"Is it only me or does Joker really disappear at random for around a solid thirty to forty minutes?" Bruce asked the butler with unmasked suspicion.
"Ah- So you have finally noticed. " Alfred replied with a hint of disappointment.
"What?!" Bruce exclaimed, "You've known all along?"
"Of course I did." Alfred answered, "So the clown might finally be up to no good?"
Bruce grimaced at the idea, and some more at Alfred's nonchalant demeanor. "Why haven't you told me?"
"That 'Having a madman as a lover is bound to lead to a number of misfortunes.' " Alfred retorted, "I wonder why?"
"Have I ever told you that you have an extremely irritating way of saying 'I told you so'?" The billionaire sighed.
"Oh- you've got it wrong, Master Bruce." Alfred scoffed, "I'm but an old man mourning the end of his peaceful moments."
"This conversation is leading to no where." Bruce frowned at his butler's sarcasm, "I'm better off searching for Joker before a misfortune does befall us."
"At last something we agree upon." Alfred muttered as he went back to his daily chores.
