Her head was thrown back, her hair cascading down her back, wild and unruly, and her eyes were closed as she gasped every time he thrust up into her. Her breasts were too small to bounce exactly, but the way her chest was heaving made them so tantalizing that he had to sit up and take one into his mouth, sucking on it hard, but not hard enough to leave a mark, not that anyone would see or be able to tell. He was always careful about that, not wanting to leave any marks on her pristine skin.

He almost laughed at that. Her skin wasn't pristine at all, and it was in the throes of passion that he got all flowery. She had a large bruise on her left side from being thrown into the ring steps at a house show the other night, and there was a cut on her left calf from God knew where, but it was the way that her skin felt that made it pristine to him. He felt her sit herself down on his dick, fully seating herself on him, and he moved around a little bit, causing her to moan, grab the back of his head and push it further into her breast. If he was going to suffocate right now, what a way to go out.

"Yes," she breathed out as he continued to gently move around so that he moved around inside fully. "Yes."

He continued to suck on her nipple, and he opened his eyes to glance up at her face. Her mouth was opened into a little O and it looked like she was surprised. He pulled away and she somehow seated herself deeper on him. They stopped for a moment to catch their breaths, and she leaned her forehead on his, her eyes drowsy with lust, and he stared at her openly. He didn't know if she could see what he wanted her to see in his eyes, and he wasn't sure he wanted her to see it. If she saw the love, the feelings, it might scare her away.

"Hey," she said, her voice rough and soft at the same time. He kissed her simply then, the connection between them too much for him not to kiss her. When did this woman take over his entire heart? When did she become the only one he wanted to look at? He had no problem being faithful to women when in a relationship, he wasn't the womanizer people wanted to portray him as, but with AJ it was so different. With AJ, he felt like he wouldn't need to be with another woman for the rest of his life.

"Hey," he said back, not sure what else he could say in this very intimate moment. It might be the perfect moment to tell her he loved her, but he wasn't ready to say the words to her yet so he started kissing her neck and murmured the words quietly into her skin, burning them into her. He licked along her collarbone, and he must have hit a particularly sensitive spot because she started to move against him again, and he lost himself to the sensations.

He loved the feel of her, the way she clung to him while he thrust up into her. Her head was thrown back again, but she forced it forward to kiss him over and over again. He buried his face into her neck as he started to cum, moaning against her neck as she let out a deep, throaty cry when she started to cum as well. He wrapped both his arms around her waist, clutching to him as they both rode out their orgasms. She sighed when her rigid body went nearly limp in his arms.

He felt himself relax too, and with her welcome weight on top of him, he fell back against the pillows behind them. She came with him, laying completely on top of him. Their sweat-slicked bodies caused them to nearly stick together like glue. She covered him like a warm soft blanket and nuzzled even further against him, her legs splayed out on either side of them. Moving back into this position had pulled himself out of her a little bit, but he was still mostly inside of her, and he made no move to actually pull out, even as he could feel their mixed fluids flow out of her.

He reached down as best he could with her on him, and his fingertips just touched the sheet they'd kicked down to the end of the bed when they fell into it naked. It took a few tries to grasp it fully, but he did, and he pulled it up over the both of them. He glanced over at the clock, and they'd have to be up in a few hours if they wanted to get in to the gym in the morning.

"Night," he said, stroking her hair a little bit, but when he received no answer, he looked down to see that she was already asleep. He almost wanted to say that he loved her right then and there where she wouldn't hear, but he'd seen too many movies and read too many books, and oftentimes, the person was not actually asleep, and he was not going to fall into that trap so he simply kissed the crown of her head and fell into sleep too.

When he awoke, she was much in the same position that she'd fallen asleep in. He could still feel her all around him, and he could still feel inside her. He didn't want to move though, didn't want the morning to truly come because the spell would be broken. It always was in the mornings. She would get up, get dressed quickly, kiss him briefly then be out the door, rushing to her own room before anyone could see them.

He wanted to believe, if only for just a moment, that she was with him, that her heart belonged to him as much as his heart already belonged to her. In these fleeting moments before she woke up, he almost could believe it. Her kisses, well, he knew that she was passionate with him, that she conveyed a lot more feeling in her kisses and actions than she did in her words, but he still couldn't be sure what exactly those feelings were.

What would it take to make her his? What words could he possibly say to convince her? He wasn't even sure there were any words to convince her because she always seemed to relish in this "friends with benefits" thing they continued to call their relationship. He didn't want that, he wanted more than that, and it hadn't been friends with benefits for a long time now, at least for him. He never should have entered this stupid arrangement with her. Maybe if he didn't know this other side of her, it wouldn't hurt so much when she wasn't around him.

He was thinking so hard he didn't even realize that she'd woken up until he felt her index finger on the bridge of his nose, rubbing at it. He didn't know what she was doing until she spoke, "You were thinking too hard, you were getting that little crease you get when you frown."

This. This was what killed him. She didn't want more, but she still knew more about him than any of his previous girlfriends before her. He'd opened his life to a few women before, but somehow, they didn't seem to know him, probably because he'd been trying to make his dream come true, and he'd been so focused on that, he closed part of himself off a little bit. Now he had the dream, and he could have the girl if she really just opened her heart to him.

"Sorry," he mumbled.

"What were you thinking about?" she asked.

He almost wanted to laugh because there was no way he could tell her what he was really thinking about, but he also didn't want to lie to her, "I was just thinking about how it would be nice to have you stay the morning."

It was her turn to frown. "You want me to?"

"I don't know, I mean, you're always rushing out of here, and sometimes it's like I'm, you know…"

"I don't know," she said, not able to finish his thought because why would she know? She didn't know about his feelings. "Do you feel like I'm like…I enjoy being with you, Dolph."

"I know that, I mean, it's not hard to tell," he chuckled a little. She pulled away and leaned her arms across his chest so that she could look at his face. He let them have that open look again. "Sometimes though, it's nice to have you around because you're my…friend, you know, and it's like, I don't want that to change."

"Oh," she said, like she'd never realized that. It was nowhere near what he wanted to say, but it would have to do. "I didn't…well, I mean, not this morning, but I can stay next time, if that's what you want or you could stay when you're in my room, I never meant to make you feel like I'm just having sex with you and running, it's not like that."

"What's it like?" he dared to ask.

She looked confused for a moment, like there was something she was contemplating for the briefest of moments, but then shook it from her mind. He wanted her to follow whatever thought that was down the rabbit hole because he had a feeling that she maybe, just maybe, entertained the thought of them together even if it was just for that fleeting moment. It was gone now though, and her face softened.

"It's us," she said in the vaguest of terms. "We're us."

"What does that mean?" he pressed.

He could tell that he was making her uncomfortable. She didn't even need to roll off him leaving him cold and naked, but that's what she did. She pulled the covers up a little higher and pulled her knees up, resting her chin on them. It was an odd position to see someone naked make, but she made it look beautiful, and with the way her hair was falling around her, he was mesmerized.

"I don't know," she looked over at him, now laying her cheek against the top of her knees. "I don't really know. I mean, it's just like, I trust you with…with this. I trust you to make me…not to…"

"AJ," his voice was so filled with the adoration he felt that she narrowed her eyes a little and he immediately dialed it back. "I'm not asking you to like define our relationship, I know it's weird."

"Yeah, friends and more," she said, and the choice of words, the switch from benefits to more made it sound like there was a chance they could have something more, something better than this ridiculous set-up.

"And more."

"I don't know, Dolph, I mean, I just, you're a guy and I know you, better than I've known any other man, even the ones I've dated, I mean, they cheated on me, you know, and I just…" She let out a sad breath.

"I don't know how anyone could cheat on you," he had to tell her that because it was true. How could any man, any man leave this woman for someone else. She was beautiful and special, and what kind of men were these men? Idiots, that's what.

"Thanks," she said idly. "I'm not sure what we are exactly."

"But…"

"No buts, I'm just not sure," she told him, and she wasn't, he could tell. He sat up and leaned over to give her a kiss, a short one, a mostly chaste one. "I'll stay for breakfast if you want me to."

"I'd like you to," Dolph affirmed. "I mean, we're friends, friends have breakfast."

"Naked breakfast?" she giggled, the earlier heaviness lifting for at least the moment.

"We're friends and more," he told her lightly, and she crinkled her nose.

"You're not going to let me live that down, are you?" AJ asked him, still giving him a little pout. He was absolutely not going to let her live it down because he sensed that it could have been a shift in her thinking, that maybe under the surface, she could have feelings for him too.

"Never."
